You gotta try it! I rate off 3 things; 1)Quality of food 2)Quality of service 3)Atmosphere Sake II hits the mark on all three! It's not fancy, but it's clean and friendly and delicious every time! I don't think there is a bad item on the menu and I have a wonderful experience every visit. Best kept secret on the hill!

We live and work on the hill and there are very limited choices (beyond the Hospital's cafes) to eat. Granted, now the two places outside the hospital have Thai (this place and the food cart) but I have eaten at both and this place is much better/higher quality. Their Gyoza apps are awesome! We've also enjoyed their drunken noodle and a variety of soups. The service is super friendly and service is quick. I highly recommend!

I've never written a Yelp Review (or any other review for that matter), but this place deserves to be acknowledged for it's outstanding food as well as its owner/hostess/chef extraordinaire. I'm a picky eater when it comes to Asian fare, but the food was delicious. You can be as conservative or daring as you want, and I guarantee you will come back wanting more! Personally, I plan on becoming a regular!

First off, the customer service is awesome. The owner is extremely sweet and always asks how I've been and how work/school is going. She is eager to please, and doesn't mind alterations (such as no broccoli or no tofu) that myself or my company has requested. She has been updating the interior of the building, so the environment is definitely improving, but honestly the food quality is more important to me. I was hesitant to go here after hearing poor reviews about the previous owners, but I'm incredibly thrilled I gave it a shot. Sake II is now the source of my favorite yellow curry. Definitely give this place a shot, it won't disappoint.

Found a piece of plastic in my child's dinner! Curry was good, but noodles & chicken were salty and portions were small! And holy bamboo shoots!!! I've never seen so many in these types of dishes before. Would have rather had veggies!!!

The woman working in the front was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty. I crunched on some egg shell (I know because I took it out of my mouth and saw) in one bite of my pad see ew--there is egg in it. But it was only a tiny bite at the end that had it, so I'm not mad... I will return, but I'll inspect my food a little closer next time... The person I came with enjoyed their basil chicken.

This place is AMAZING!! The owner is sweet and so much fun! I have been here several times now and I can't stop coming back! The food is DELICIOUS. I haven't had one thing I didn't like here. I definitely recommend to anyone! You have to come here!!!!

The recent transition from old owners to new is a refreshing change. I was scared to eat there until I saw the change. The quality is first rate and preparation is superb!

So, this is my new favorite restaurant. I've been in twice and the food was good. She even remembered me. It was cool. As far as I can tell it's just 2 people running the place and one is the cook. So, be patient. The drawings on the walls are cool. It's a cool place.

Food wasn't bad but it was not exactly what I expected when I pay 9.50 for fried rice and chicken. The portion was very small far as chicken goes pretty much was a small small foil to go container full of rice with a little bit of egg and couple pieces of chicken. The place located in this building before was equally disappointing. Most likely will stick the to place across the street yummy thai for cheaper eats and bigger portions with equal the flavor.

What a great experience! I work up on the hill, and the food choices here are limited. The new restaurant and owner is so sweet. When I walked in to order to-go, she served me some Thai tea and gave a bowl of fresh tom-kah soup while I wait. I ordered an order of the tom-kah soup with shrimp and salad rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was made fresh to order, quickly, and tasted delicious. The ambiance is very fun, relaxed, and inviting. I'll be back!

Great food. Great owner. Happy to support a local business. Make sure to try as many dishes from the menu. You won't be disappointed!

A brand new Thai restaurant close to OHSU area. Definitely a good addition to the area which doesn't have any restaurant besides OHSU cafeteria... at all, especially on the weekend. This restaurant replaces Rattikran Thai cuisine. Been there twice so far and happy with the food and service. I was there on the weekend and the restaurant was basically run by one lady who is the owner/waitress/chef. She is very nice and friendly. The ambiance is quite relaxing and not busy yet. She did say more staff were coming though. I got to try Pad Thai, Pad see ew, and chicken peanut sauce so far. All are good and flavorful. As I live by OHSU, it would surely save me a trip to Thai restaurants downtown. The portion is just right, not too big or too small. The price is also affordable. If you live and/or work close to OHSU, this place is definitely worth a go.

My boyfriend and I live on the hill and decided to give this place a try and I have to say it was much better than I was expecting! It was literally empty when we walked in which made us a little apprehensive but I'm glad we went. The owner is very sweet and genuinely interested in your feedback because she wants return customers. I got the Pad Kee Mao with chicken and my bf got the basil sauce with Pork. They don't skimp on the protein here, and the dinner portions are enormous. We both got it medium spicy which was spicier than I've had at most places but what I want when I order medium. We also tried the Kimchi which was also very good. We'll definitely be going back once they have their full menu going and she said she was going to be having a happy hour as well!

Most delightful service I have ever experienced. Delicious foods; we got the Pad See Eu (excellent!) and the kimchi ramen (very tasty). Good price. Decent atmosphere. We have a place right nearby and expect this will be a weekly affair, if not more.

Always forget about this place. I work at OHSU and usually go for the cafes. Had a little extra time for lunch and went with a friend. We were wary at first -- this place is next to a Plaid Pantry and isn't very pretty inside, but the food was great! Quick service. In and out with time to spare. Give it a whirl next time you want to get off-campus.

So happy to have another choice when it comes to dining up at OHSU. Extremely friendly and prompt service, combined with very flavorful food makes this a place that I will certainly return to again.

Absolutely LOVE the Thai Lime Tea... Like Thai Ice Tea but with lime instead of cream. Tangy and smooth and oh so good. Not on the menu but definitely ask for it! This little place took over for Rattikran and is a small spin off of it's down town restaurant. They have very lovely ginger beef and tasty noodles. To go service is fast and friendly, definitely my new favorite lunch/dinner spot for OHSU.

I have walked by this place a number of times. Today my friend and I decided we should try it. The owner is super nice and the food was fantastic! I had the Tom Kar soup and pad see ew! Awesome meal!

New owners, great food, very friendly! Highly recommend. Refreshing change of pace for food options on the hill. They were sold out of tofu but had a good mixed vegetable dish to accommodate.
