This was my first visit to this restaurant, I have driven past this place many times and the parking lot is always full, that's aways a good sign in my eyes. We had a friend visiting and we decided to give this place a try. We arrived around lunch time and we're kind of surprised that the parking lot had very few cars in it but decided to go in. When we walked in we were greeted right away by a young lady that's always a good sign in a staff who takes pride in customer service. The dinning room was very clean and had a country decorations such as farm equipment and mix and matches chairs at the tables. They were playing odd music for a country themed restaurant, I expected country music. I like the fact the drinks come out in large mason jars $2.00 for an ice tea that's like two in one and the tea was strong. The food was really good but my only complaint is that the portions are on the small side, I ordered the Ruben really good flavor but needed more dressing on it. The potato salad was awesome only thing I can say is add more salt and pepper, you could tell it was homemade as it had fresh onion, celery and perfectly cooked potato's, they even give you bottomless refills on the potato salad. I have never seen this before. The waitress was very friendly and always made sure we had refills. I will give this place another chance, and I would recommend it to others.

Went in based on prior good reviews and they were spot on. Wonderful selection of local sourced foods and craft beers. Had the brisket sandwich and arugula salad with salmon. Brisket was tender and juicy. Bit heavy on the sauce for my taste but it was very good and not too sweet. Local amber brew was a perfect combo. Salad was wonderful, dressing was just the right amount of sweet and citrus and the salmon was not over seasoned or overdone. Pear slices and walnuts added a sweet and crunchy contrast. Would return in a heartbeat any time we are in the area.

This is probably a nice waterhole and sandwich for locals. For today we were...um, they. Nice enough decor, mismatched chairs, sort of a shabby chic sort of thing happening. The service was excellent, though our server did forget my water. I'm not too upset really by that. With your order came the choice of fries and I asked for a sample of potato salad, which is house made. In either case, they are happy to get you more of either should you desire. I'd vote the potato salad. More of a soft potato salad with egg and crunchy bits of onions and celery, and a strong country Dijon mustard. Perhaps a little strong for some but quite good to me. The fries were good enough I suppose, and came with Portland brand ketchup. No, not that heavenly ketchup that they have at Big Little Burger, but a fresher tasting than Hunts not that Hunts isn't good; this was just a little different. He got the Blue burger, I had the fish sandwich. I think I got the better deal. He was surprised to have a choice in doneness of his burger. Our server sort of steered him away from the medium rare, which is what he had planned to order. The medium had the little tiniest of pink, which made it not dry, but not as juicy as he had hoped for. My fish sandwich was pretty good. Served on a chewy French bread with a cheddar and coleslaw; quite good. Ah, but for ten bucks? Overpriced. So we ended up with a oh kay lunch with soda pops clocking in at $30. I wish we had gone caddy corner to the Mad Greek's.

As a PCC student....I have been driving by this place for two months and every time I went by I would think to myself 'I want to eat there'. From the outside it looks like an old timey western bar-facade thingy....and the inside is no less charming. Also, I saw that they boast food being grown right in their backyard. Had the blackened salmon sandwich which comes with tots (I love the Pacific NW....I have never had so many tater tots as I have out here) and the fish had a serving of coleslaw under it. It was love at first bite. I felt like Goldilocks, fish was not over done at all....not under....it was juuust right! Tots were crispy and perfect little pillows of potatoes. Oh, and had a mojito. It was okay, my family is from Cuba....so I'm a bit spoiled. ONLY DOWNSIDE: Menu is pretty limited. Lunch you are pretty much stuck with the salmon sandwich, hamburgers, and pizza. I have yet to have decent pizza on the west coast. MAYBE I'll go back and give it a whirl.. Go there - it's cozy, service is friendly, and the food is spot on.

Rock Creek Corner is an attractive establishment on the corner of NW 185th and West Union Road. Rock Creek Corner is one half cozy bar and one half quaint restaurant. The setting is near ideal. Rock Creek Corner is kitty corner from the infamous Mad Greek Deli and on the way to the PCC Rock Creek Campus. Parking is behind the building in a gravel lot and can get quite tight. The restaurant interior consists of antique furniture and farm artifacts hanging on the walls. They bring you your drinks in Mason jars. Someone at Rock Creek Corner must love Johnny Cash because we heard a lot of Mr. Cash's recorded work. Service is friendly but spotty. We had a long wait before we were seated. The menu consists of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza, and main entrees like Oregon Lamb Chop and Wild Coho Salmon. On our visit Rock Creek Corner was selling lots of pizzas. We had two simple drinks, an appetizer, and two burgers. Our bill was well over $40 which to me seemed high. We sampled the Shrimp Bites and the Bronco Burger. The Shrimp Bites were skewered grilled shrimp served on top of garlic bread with a side of creamy sauce. A very well plated and delicious appetizer. The Bronco Burger was a 1/2 pound burger served up with bacon, ham, cheese, and BBQ sauce. The Bronco Burger was interesting but it was also a big mess. Rock Creek Corner served up their big Bronco Burger with small pub style buns. If you build a burger that big then you need a substantially sized bun to keep the burger together. Also the meat could have used some more seasoning. After tackling the Bronco Burger my dinner companion and I had to go wash our hands. Even after repeated washings my hands smelled like Bronco Burger all night long. According to the menu Rock Creek Corner serves bottomless French fries with their burgers. However, our server was not at all interested in bringing us more fries. Rock Creek Corner was originally recommended to me as a great place for a burger. Unfortunately Rock Creek Corner would never be on my list of favorite burger places.

I stop in from time to time after work for a cold one. Good choice of beers, and they are cold. The staff are good people. I have not had food here but what they carry by me looks very good.

Smoked brisket sandwich was amazing. Looks like some landscape/parking lot/outdoor seating work going on. Can't wait to see what's next. Will be coming back soon to try out other menu items.

You have arrived! Everything is great - food, service, atmosphere, and location. After almost a year of driving by and thinking it was just another motorcycle bar, we decided to see what the food was like. WOW were we surprised! There is a real chef in there that can think and cook - even custom make something if he can.

So, Rock Creek Corner corner has been in this spot since the 1930s when it was a general store and local gathering place, in a pretty darn rural part of Washington County. According to the restaurant website you could even buy dynamite from a shed out back. Cool. I moved to the Bethany area from Sellwood around 2006 and thought it was only a run down, kinda sketchy looking bar with an equally dilapidated house next door with a dirt and gravel parking lot. Why was it so close to our cookie cutter suburban rental and why did it look like buildings in old Tombstone Arizona? I didnt really care to know. But then I heard they had pizza. So we got some, to take out, and it was good. Really pretty darn good. I live in a bit of a pizza desert. Then I heard there was breakfast. So we tried that, and it was ok. ( fyi I dont think they serve breakfast anymore). Then the building got a little face lift. And the old house disappeared. And a veggie garden and patio appeared in its place. And the parking lot got paved. Okay then! We went in for lunch after moving my former brother in law out of my living room into his apartment. (Yes!) The dining room is funky. Very old west. Kids allowed. Beer was good. Cocktail list looked good. Service was good. Water refilled without asking. The food was delicious. Brother in law had a turkey reuben and homemade potato salad that he said was tasty. They offer refills on that according to other reviews. Our server didnt mention that tho'. Ex had a chicken sandwich and tasty fries. (Also supposedly refillable). Princess had flatbread with salmon ( listed on their online menu but not in house menu but they kindly made it for her anyway and she LOVED it). My arugula pear salad was wonderful. I added tasty grilled chicken. It had ripe pears, warm toasty pecans, creamy herby goat cheese and a crisp parmesan toast thingy. Perfect. This was a fabulous lunch!! Love their fresh local focus and we will do it again. Um, not in quite the same group of people though;)

It's an extraordinarily rare occasion that I give five stars. My mechanic, absolutely. After that, not so much. I'm picky. Especially when it comes to dining out. It's because, as is so often the case, I am disappointed. Not so with Rock Creek Corner. I knew this was going to be good when, upon pulling into the parking lot, I saw a vegetable garden. What?! Fresh picked veggies in Hillsboro/Beaverton? The surprises and delights continued. House crafted cocktails, light, airy onion rings, Calamari that just wasn't frozen rings, a monstrous, perfectly cooked (medium rare) hamburger, hand cut French fries and an arugula and pear salad with grilled chicken breast. Here? Really? Yes! Emphatically yes! How I've missed this hidden gem is beyond me. I do know that from here on out, Rock Creek Corner is my go to spot.

Love this place! Great fresh local food. Farm to fork! Gorgeous rustic charm. Never disappoints. Love their pizzas and tacos. Lots of variety on the menu. Friendly casual service and environment. Hands down one of our faves in town.

Always wonderful fresh locally grown ingredients. I've never been disappointed with anything I've eaten here. Fun seasonal dishes and drinks make this a year round destination my son and I always love coming to!

I live not but 5 minutes from Rock Creek corner and pass by it at 5 times a week. I've heard so many good things and hilarious stories from my sister and her friends about this place when they first turned 21. On Cinco de Mayo a friend and I were trying to go get some Mexican food, but of course the wait was outrageous, and we were starving, so we decided to just scrap the idea and go somewhere else. As we were driving down the road trying to decide where to go, we passed Rock Creek and decided to stop in cause we had never been before. Thank god we did, because the food was amazing. We stayed on the diner side, so we will have to go back to try the bar side some time. I ordered a salad and fish tacos and my friend ordered onion rings and chicken strips. The waiter was awesome, he was really attentive and when we told him we had never been in before he was giving us a little background and helped us pick out some food... he was great. My food was amazing, but I got too much so I had to take it home and it was just as good the next day! I've heard the burgers here are amazing, so I definitely will be back to try those bad boys out sometime soon.

Fantastic food! The mushroom burger was perfectly cooked and very tasty! The fries were delicious as well. Mother in law got the steak dip and she couldn't stop raving about it. Very friendly service and staff. Highly recommend this place!!

It is a cute little place but they have horrible service overall. Our waiter messed up our order and never checked on us. I had a steak dip and the meat was very chewy and plain. I wouldn't advise anyone to go here.

Stopped in based on the reviews. Had the Reuben and it was tasty. My companions had the buffalo burgers which they thought were ok. Fries were hot and bottomless. Ambiance was nice, but they could dim the lighting a bit to give it a warmer feel. Bar looked like fun, would like to go back and try their happy hour.

First off, let me get something out of the way: besides the french fries, I've never had the food here. There are menus, a room that looks like a kitchen, and I've seen plates of food delivered to patrons; so food does exist here. But good sir, if you are frequenting Rock Creek Corner, you are there for one purpose: getting drunk, cheaply. Yes, like 99% of small bars located far from downtown hot spots, to get the masses in, RCC pours their drinks liberally. This isn't the place for beer, a wise conesure will stick to the spirits. For entertainment, besides the people watching of the "Regs", there is one pool table and a few lotto machines, but good luck getting on one, RCC is full of financial professionals playing the lottery games for investment purposes. Warning for those who don't live in walking distance, Washington County's Finest spend lots of time scouring 185th ave for RCC's cut off customers!

If you want to just get a drink, some food and not have anyone bother you and just talk to who you came with, it is fine. Being vegan, I wasn't expecting to find anything to eat there but was surprised to find a pretty good hummus plate of warm pita, decent hummus and cut carrots and celery. The waitress was not friendly however, which is always a turn off to me and to pay the bill, we had to find someone since we were being ignored. It could have been that we were not their usual clientele, but I'm sure other PCC students visit there and want decent service.

Great food all around! Great happy hour. Burgers are some of the best. The wings are absolutely awesome-straight forward, one sauce only (buffalo) but really the best wings I've had in Portland. The pizza is to die for, again some of the best in Portland. Monday nights are crazy with the football crowd! Fun place. One thing...they will be expanding their facility come 2014 with outdoor seating and larger bar. This place is going strong.

I've never had a bad meal here. I love the country atmosphere and home cooking, they have their own garden as well. Staff is super and its always clean. The bar side is sketchy, we just stick with the restaurant side. The roasted meats are really nice, fresh veggies, scratch soups. Their pesto caesar and wedge salads are amazing. I so appreciate their pasture raised beef and hand formed burger patties, all on a bakery bun. Gluten free options too. Kids will love this place also, the mac n cheese with bacon is decadent, pizzas are great. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food.

So I have now tried their pulled pork sandwich and their hamburger. The pulled pork sandwich is very good. They don't oversauce the pork so you can really taste that meaty goodness. The sauce has a little bit of tang to it, very tasty. The cole slaw is just the right amount of crunch. Only a couple of negatives. I think the bun is a little too big and fluffy for the amount of meat and it needs to come with a LOT more pickles (I only got one little slice :( The potato salad on the side is AWESOME! Lots of dill, some egg, celery, potato and... BACON! bacon bacon bacon bacon yum! The burger was okay. They use Fulton beef, a good vendor, but it seemed like it was previously frozen. The menu says they cook the burgers medium well, but they were happy to cook ours medium rare. Unfortunately the patty is so thin that it's really not possible to get anything more than a little pink inside. The toppings were good, we had the one with BBQ sauce (I really like their sauce) and an onion ring on it. Again, bun was too fluffy and big for the burger. I think if they used a local vendor that makes a good bun, like Dave's Killer Bread, then it would be much better. All in all I still love the place and what they are doing. I just don't think the burger is the draw here. Go for a pizza or anything else where the sauce is made in house.

This place serves the BEST clam strips I have had since I moved to Portland 23 years ago. They are fat and juicy, never dry and crunchy like the stuff most places pass off as clam strips. I have lived and traveled all over the country and they are honestly among the best I have ever had. I cannot speak for anything else they serve other than the Greek salad, which is authentic and delicious.

My parents invited me to join them for dinner at the Rock Creek Corner since they had a coupon they wanted to use. I grew up in that area and vaguely remember that space was this run-down divey bar. Not sure if it was new owners or just a desire to change their image, but they redid everything to make it into a family dining establishment. It has a sort of 'farm meets the tavern' feel to it. You can't miss the bright red huge booths! They have really high backs too, so you really end up with some privacy at your table. They have blown up pictures around of the old farms that used to be in that area and old farm tools. Then there are also large ornate mirrors, some classic light fixtures and some patterned aluminum ceiling tiles. The menu offered a lot of what I would consider pub-fare. It's mostly sandwiches and burgers, pizza, salads, and then various items like pasta or steak. There were various beers on tap as well as a selection of wines. I got a glass of Pinot Noir, can't remember which vineyard but it was nice and light for a red. From the food menu I ordered their bison burger, but asked that it be on lettuce since I cannot eat the buns. I think there was some confusion there though. Not served on lettuce, but at least they held the bun! Just meant I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. Little heavy with the grilled onions on top, but still tasty. There is not a big wait staff at this place, so I agree with other reviews that the service can be a bit slow. Despite that, when they were able to come to our table they were the nicest people!

I had been here once or twice, the food wasn't great, neither was the service, but it is close and relatively inexpensive. Went back early on a Saturday for a drink and some lunch (after a long study session). It was relatively empty, save for a few crowds of obvious "regulars" whom the bartender knew by name. When I asked if they had a jalapeno poppers, the bartender (a suggestively dressed woman in her 50s) suggested I go across the street, which I thought to be odd, as I have never had someone in the industry suggest I go elsewhere for service. I thought for a moment that perhaps they didn't appreciate the "college crowd", but dismissed that immediately considering that I am 30-something professional. From there, the service only got worse, and quickly. The other patrons all seemed nice (all in their 50s or above, generally friendly, video poker playing crowd). Our food was cold, our empty glasses sat there FOREVER, and she would walk away while when we spoke to her about anything, and when we did engage her, she was ridiculously rude, there really is no other way to describe the treatment me and my friend received other than ridiculous and uncalled for. We had been in high spirits when we arrived, and were feeling quite dejected by the time we had finally gotten our check, only to realize we had been SEVERELY upcharged. Like, almost $10 a drink for a normally $5-6 drink (like I said, I had been there before, our drinks were not double nor top shelf). I told my friend that due to her behavior AND the upcharging on top of it, I would not be tipping. I used to work in the industry, and had I ever treated a customer like that, I wouldn't have kept my job, let alone a couple of women who did nothing to deserve it. My friend still tipped, but whatever. We left, and upon pulling out of our parking spot, another car whipped out and drove almost into our vehicle, head on (we had stopped). We put our car in reverse, and this one advanced, this time beside us. I thought it was a severely intoxicated patron, until the woman motioned for us and rolled down our window--surprise! She was a patron whom the bartender had sent to confront us for not tipping! (Which no one would have known, as we handed her our cash directly!). She not only confronted us for not tipping, but called us a few choice names, then peeled out of the parking lot. Terrible service + awful treatment/attitude + siccing another patron on us = worst bar ever. I wish I had taken her recommendation and gone to the other bar. I can't believe the lack of class of the bartender, and this bar. I wish I could leave it 0 stars.

I came here with my boyfriends family, and the reviews were better than average, which is hard to find in the immediate area of Tanasbourne for some weird reason. I think the decor is quaint and rustic, the restaurant is a little bit drafty, but if you dress in layers its no big deal. The waitress was friendly and helpful. My boyfriend got the Bronco Burger with fries, and the burger looked amazing, and he says it was amazing. Pink in the middle, and really juicy. The fries were crispy and not salted much at all, which I actually prefer. I had the BLT, which was actually pretty amazing- fresh ingredients, crispy bacon, crispy sourdough bread, with potato salad as a side, and the potato salad was delicious. We will be coming back for more!

The epitome of what a Portland suburb spot should be. Brittany is friendly and attentive despite appearing to be the only server + bartender here. A casual atmosphere with literally farm to table food... the side - salad being fresh veggies from their on-site garden. Fresh, clearly homemade dressing.. beef dip with smokey, rich beef flavor with a not overly-salty a jus, hearty roll (vital to a good beef dip) and PDX organic ketchup for fry-dipping. The fish in the fish tacos was a bit over - breaded but still the tacos had fresh, flavorful veggies. We will definitely be back.

Delicious farm to table meal: Brisket tacos for starter, tender tasty with freshly made salsa Tomato basil soup homemade with fresh picked ingredients from their garden out back. Veggie side with zucchini , yellow squash, watercress with a light dressing full of flavor. Hubby had the special: salmon mashed potatoes with steak julienne (free range) and veggie medley as well. He all but licked the plate. Our server, Michael was excellent so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the menu and ingredients. He was very attentive to our needs. We will be back

This is the quintessential want to be dive bar slash farm to table restaurant but fails on both fronts. Walked in for a lunch break and had to walk through the entire restaurant to the bar area where the bartender was the only person serving... First red flag during Portland Open week and "lunch rush" the menu was heavily priced as they "pulled vegetables from their garden" but the food failed in comparison. As a foodie it is great to try to be sustainable, farm friendly and the entire thing but you can't serve better for you on gluten packed starchy white buns. I ordered a burger, don't remember which one... Only ate half and very few fries. This is a no go if you are in the Beaverton/Hillsboro/Portland area... There are so many other great locations to pick from.

Cool environment...the new patio is awesome! Too bad it was raining. The salad was fresh from their garden...the dressing was homemade. Great variety of food...and after the meal I just had I think it's safe to safe anything I order will be delicious. Good selection of oregon beer, the best of course;) I'll be back for sure...

My next favorite place to frequent now. We ordered the calamari (tasty but a bit greasy, needs to be crispier), $4 kid's meal (generous portion), the pulled pork entree (bottomless fries were a plus), and the pear salad (impressed with the flavor and not-so-heavy dressing). A great casual bar atmosphere/tavern ambiance too!

We were craving good burgers on our way to the coast and we yelped this place. The burgers were phenomenal, the chicken sandwich that mom ordered was great as well, and the fish tacos were excellent. Not one bad thing that I can say about this place. The service was polite and on point. If we were from the area we would definitely be back!!

Rock Creek corner is one of those places that lacks outer appeal, but once you sit and order you will not be disappointed. We had Mother's Day dinner for four. We had heard the calamari were best in town. Probably true, delicious. Also the bacon wrapped steak tenders, the jalapeño burger, their cocktails, and even the crem bulee. We will be back soon.

We came here for lunch I got the burger and fries. It wasn't bad it was just what I needed after a long hike. I love the atmosphere inside. It's like a history lesson of the Bethany area.

I can't believe it took me 6 years to try this place; I can't stop eating here now! Their burgers are to die for, huge, juicy, taste charbroiled and fresh. I love that the sides like fries, tots, and their amazing homemade potato salad with chunks of bacon are "bottomless" (and they are delish too)! They have a huge garden and try to source the majority of their food locally when they can, which is great. Their steak dip is fantastic, the steak is so tender and it comes with caramelized onions and bell peppers (a few too many peppers for my liking so I order it without). I've also had the Chicken Saltimbocca which is a prosciutto wrapped breast that is breaded and pan fried. It came with delicious real mashed potatoes and wonderful sautéed spinach. My only complaint is that the chicken was a little dry. If the breasts were a little thicker it'd be perfect! Their perfectly brewed iced tea and sodas come in huge mason jars, and you never need refill, but they're free too if you need :) I do have to say the 2 dislikes I have at RCC are: 1) the ketchup is gross (thankfully I'm not a ketchup person, but the bf is and that causes an issue). I understand they are about "organic, farm fresh, etc." But some Simply Heinz would really be great! On the plus side, they have good ranch so, that makes up for it :) 2) We got take-out one time and it was absolutely horrible. If the take out would've been the first impression, I would've never returned, but thankfully it wasn't :) Now, I look forward to eating here every time!

We lived close to the place and enjoyed their family loving food very often. A nice warm place to have a feel good meal. So many things are delicious but my favorites were the Greek salad (beware of olive pits) and the chicken pot pie. I could list more though. Try it all. We will miss you!

I looked this place up on yelp and thought hell yeah ! 4 out of 5 stars. I am not sure why it has such a high rating, maybe because it is a great place to enjoy a drink , but for food it is possible the worst place I have eaten at since moving to the Portland area.

I had the plane jane for $7.50, which is just a hamburger with veggies and fries. It turned out to be huge and so tasty. My partner had the bacon blue cheese burger for $9.50. based on how fast he ate and then declared we would need to go back I would say it was probably good. Food came out fast considering they make everything fresh .

Solid place, great service ,nice decor, had the brisket tacos... Allegedly they smoke the brisket in house but it had the look and texture of pre cooked top round beef... Still good ...salsa on the side is top notch ,could use more of it though

After a tough loss in a tennis tournament, we met at Rock Creek Corner. Although the sign said closed, when Nicholas saw our group he graciously agreed to take care of us. We proceeded to have an amazing evening, with some of the best beef brisket I've ever had. Service was outstanding. When I return to this area, I will definitely be back!!!

This is our local go to spot! Fresh and high quality local ingredients, great food and friendly staff. I called to ask if their gluten free bun has almond flower in it (which I am allergic to) and she went into the kitchen to read me all ingredients. The buns are amazingly delicious by the way! Potato based. The burgers a great, pizza is yummy, honestly I haven't had anything there that wasn't really good! Check it out!

Everything was absolutly delicious. The soup was homemade and full of fresh broccoli from their garden out back. We brought a large group (A high school volleyball team and associated family members) into the restaurant last Saturday evening. I had called ahead and planned it all with the owner, because we were in a tournament nearby and couldn't give them an exact arrival time. THEY WERE AWESOME! I brought in a list of choices, and despite a computer printer glitch- they got the food out quickly ( Including a last-minute change due to a food allergy) and everyone was very happy with their meals- which included pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and a couple of salads! ALL GOOD! Thanks Rock Creek Corner!

The service was great, The food came quickly and was delicious. Our burgers were cooked just right and the fries were really good. This place was very surprising, the parking lot was packed but the dining room was empty, everyone was in the bar! I really wanted a good high end burger and that is what I got. The meat was high quality, it was very moist and pink in the middle, the grilled onions, and crisp bacon really made great. My husband got the the pulled pork with coleslaw. The pork wasn't very saucy but was very good. The service was fast and friendly. We both agreed that we would happyily go there again. The big ball glasses were nice and more then enough to drink. The lemon fizz was a great drink I would happily order that again.

You might have seen this ragged building on the corner of union and 185th awhile back, which is why I never really had any desire to check it out. But they redid the place using salvaged parts from a local barn to make it a place where "country and the city meet." (their little mantra). This salvage explains the essence of Rock Creek Corner. They're pure portland in that they're focused heavily on local, sustainable products. For instance, all their meat is from local Oregon farmers and are naturally raised. Some of their produce is from their backyard!! The place has a nice bar area and a restaurant room area great for families! The place is local, don't get too comfortable and be lazy. This is a place where family's know the waiters and have been stopping by on a weekly basis. Surprising that I've missed a place like this my whole life. A little gem in the suburbs of beaverton. I've had the reuben, a pizza, a couple of burgers, and the bottomless fries! The food is good! My buffalo burger was actually mid rare!! a nice color unlike most local joints these days. The fries are crispy and soft in the middle, not overly salty. The sauces like the local ketchup are a real nice touch. The late night options seem really awesome as well! I'll support this local business with great food for awhile!

We have been here a couple of times and haven't been let down yet. Unique offerings. Good fresh pizza. Kid friendly. Quaint atmosphere. The people are VERY friendly. Service has been awesome for us. They happen to be close by so that's a bonus for us. Its off the beaten path, but easy to find. Can't complain about things here, it's a good place to stop and eat especially seeing as how it isn't a bland chain.

After playing nine holes at Claremont, the wife and I were hungry and thirsty. When we rolled up in the bar at Rock Creek, our first impressions were not great: It looked a little tired on the outside, it was a little funky on the inside, and it seemed overpriced. But all of those were quickly set aside. - Service was very friendly - Drinks were strong and tasty - They use fresh and local ingredients, including from the on location garden in the back. (They picked fresh mint from the garden for my wife's Mojito!) - Great food - we had wings and pizza Great place for food, drink, and a game

I love this place! Lots of nice people, friendly attentive staff, and a menu with something for everyone. One of the best things about this little joint is that it isn't just some little dive bar. It is clean and well lit. I would feel safe even if I went unaccompanied. Additionally, there is a restaurant, and families are welcome! It is very hard to find a non-chain establishment that works for the kids! I've tried several different pizzas, the clam strips are BIG and meaty (not those clam crumbs you get in other places), Christy's Mac n' Cheese is good for your soul, and their salads are fantastic! Just keeping it local!

The food was great, the service excellent and the kids loved this place. They use local product, it's fresh and the portions were just right. The warm brownie and the fruit crisp were both the best we have ever had, both made fresh on site. Highly recommend looking past the outside, as it looks like a dive bar, and enjoying this place, you will not be sorry. We are heading back on a Thursday to taste the Chicken Pot Pie.

Pretty good food. I had the fish sandwich & it was pretty good. Slow service though & they seem to favor all the locals & ignore new people. Takes a long time to get help, drinks & food. The set-up with their front patio sucks because lots of people go out there to smoke & as the door opens & shuts it really can smell smokey. They have some great happy hour pricing on domestic beer. $2 bottles, you almost can't even buy a bottle beer in the store for $2!!!! I'll try a few more times because the location is good & they do have free wifi.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and years as a place to get a drink, (which are good and stiff). Now when we go it's mostly for the food. We have to get calamari every time; it's the best around. Specials and pizzas are awesome. They've taken pub food up a notch in quality. There's a bar side and family restaurant side. The restaurant is really cute with country decor and great big booths. The bar is kind of dark, but that's how a bar is supposed to be. The patio is on the bar side and is pretty much for smoking. If you're they type to complain about atmosphere, sit in the restaurant. We love this place!

This place has been my favorite local "divey" bar for longer than i care to admit. Though the recent remodel/changes from new owners Robert and Christy have really taken the "dive" out of this dive bar! The crowd of regulars is almost always outgoing and friendly to newcomers. Sit at the bar and someone will undoubtably talk to you, no stuffiness or uncomfortableness. It is truly a place where everybody knows your name & I can think of no higher praise than that for a bar!!

Rock Creek Cafe & Pub (AKA Rock Creek Corner) is a bar on one half and restaurant on the other. I have been to the bar side several times before and find it slightly uncomfortable, but it works as a neighborhood hangout or dive bar, since prices are decent and there aren't many other bars in the area. Today i decided to go to the restaurant side with my dad just for fun. We went around 11:30 for lunch. The restaurant side is kind of quaint and charming looking with a tin ceiling, reproduction vintage looking light fixtures, and mismatched wood chairs at the tables, a cute but fakey old timey look. Cheesy but fun music is playing over an XM radio, old fashioned to suit the look of the place, we heard the Andrews Sisters and the original version of Istanbul (Not Constantinople) by The Four Lads, I enjoyed it. They seem a little short staffed but the two waitresses/bartenders there are very cute and friendly, we were told to go sit wherever we liked and were served very quickly after we had seated oursleves. We both ordered coffees, my dad ordered the Gyro Plate, and i ordered a Cheeseburger (can't remember the name of it on the menu) that comes with barbecue sauce and an onion ring on it, both entrees come with fries. The coffee was brought out right away and was quite tasty and inexpensive at $1.50 for a bottomless cup. My fathers gyro plate is big, beautiful, with plenty of pita bread cut up into wedges, tomato, cucumber, yellow onion, feta, a ramekin of tsatziki and 8 slices of gyro meat...very generous portions. My burger plate is beautifully presented too, open face burger with the lettuce, pickle, tomato and onion on the side so you can choose what you want, and plenty of fries. My burger is ok but doesn't have much if any detectable barbecue flavor, and is either American cheese or rubbery mild cheddar, but other than that is delicious. The burger patty is large, fresh and tasty, cooked to a perfect medium, and the onion ring on it was a nice touch. The fries with both of our entrees were good and not too oily, again quite generous portions, they tasted like they were probably frozen and not fresh fries but good for what they are. Other than our meal, i have a couple of complaints, but nothing really serious. While free WIFI is advertised on the window neither my father or i were able to connect to it. We asked a waitress if we needed a password and she said "no, you should be able to connect to it". So i don't know why it wasn't working for us, but i wouldn't necessarily rely on it if you need a WIFI hotspot. Service was slightly slow, but not seriously slow...if you think of it as a casual sort of place it was perfectly acceptable! Even though it was somewhat slow service was very friendly and helpful and we managed to get three coffee refills by the time we were done. And servers attitudes are always great out here. If anything i think they probably don't get a lot of business during the day and therefore maybe keep a skeleton crew. So all in all...it was quaint and fun. Don't drive out of your way...but if you live in the area or are stuck out near PCC Rock Creek for a while...stop by and give it a try sometime!

This is the third time that I have been to the restaurant/tavern, and I had the pizza with my wife. Given the choices for pizza in the area, this place has the best by far if you are in Hillsboro. The crust is not too thin and not too thick, but a nice bready middle ground. The sauce is homemade, and the cheese has that perfect melty goodness. I would agree that some of the toppings are less that optimal, but nothing that takes the pizza down. Now, if you are used to living in PDX and getting your pizza from some of the local choices in town, this may not seem to special, but the pizza is consistent, tasty, and the best bet off of the Sunset Highway. I have also had the chili fries, and the fries were OK, but the chili was rich and flavorful. As another reviewer pointed out, this was made fresh by one of the owners, and it shows. As for the atmosphere, the tavern side is really nice after a ride on the Hog. It's nice to be able sit down in a tavern, have a beer or two, and grab some great pizza with all the riding gear on. And yet, if I just want a bit of quiet time, I can go into the restaurant side and it doesn't even feel like there is a tavern next door. The owners have done a wonderful job in the segregation of the two areas. If you are looking for the best za in the whole state of Oregon, then this may not be the place. But if you are toodling around the west side, for whatever reason, this place is definitely worth the visit.

Been to the bar twice and each time ordered a medium thin crust pizza with pepperoni, onion, and Italian sausage. Mmmmm...delish! If you enjoy a thin crust pizza with a tangy homemade sauce, check them out. Best thin crust pizza in the Western burbs hands down!

We happened upon RCC as a result of the Entertainment book, and did some limited internet research; it looked inviting, so we made the drive and we are glad we did. Nothing at all wrong with this place. The server is a salty woman with an attitude and a great sense of humor. Pretty darn good pizza; crust is nice and thin and crispy. I love their Gyros! Sunday football is a great excuse to show up.

Ok, so you want a delicious plate of giant fried clams and you live in Hillsboro. Where do you go? ROCK CREEK CORNER! On top of amazing clams, this place has incredible chili burgers, meatloaf and other succulent dishes that cover everyone's needs. We never have trouble getting a seat right away, and the rustic/homestyle design makes the food taste even better somehow. YOU MUST GO EAT HERE! It's about time Hillsboro had a great NON-CHAIN restaurant that knocked my socks off.

The best food, the best hide-away, you are in for a treat. If you are tired of being ignored because the restaurant is understaffed and the same old thing, come here. We were sweetly surprised with the friendly staff and excellent food!

Pretty good! Nice beer selection. Decor could use an update but the service and food are worth going. Great hamburgers. YUMMY

Great food! Delicious onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Pizza is fabulous and pot pies are the best I've had around. Right around the corner from our house so we frequent here!

Great place if you're a regular, not overly welcoming or service oriented if you're not. Food was ok, nothing to right home about. Not likely that I'll return to try it again.

Solid place, great service ,nice decor, had the brisket tacos... Allegedly they smoke the brisket in house but it had the look and texture of pre cooked top round beef... Still good ...salsa on the side is top notch ,could use more of it though

It could have been that we were not their usual clientele, but I'm sure other PCC students visit there and want decent service.

we came here after a soccer tourney, and the place was real homey and laid back. like the collectibles inside. we had beers and bloody marys for this group of 8 -10. the drinks were good. we ordered hummus plates, various veggie burgers and traditional burgers, greek salad, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and pulled pork sandwich. all the food was tasty. the server was nice.

You have arrived! Everything is great - food, service, atmosphere, and location. After almost a year of driving by and thinking it was just another motorcycle bar, we decided to see what the food was like. WOW were we surprised! There is a real chef in there that can think and cook - even custom make something if he can.

This place is nice. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and it's conveniently located near PCC's Rock Creek campus, making it a good place to stop after class for a bite to eat or a drink with classmates.

We happened upon RCC as a result of the Entertainment book, and did some limited internet research; it looked inviting, so we made the drive and we are glad we did. I had the Clam Strips and my wife had the Rueben - both were EXCELLENT, as was the service. We would have preferred to sit in the restaurant, but... next time. And there will be a next time.

I love this place! I always stop by when I am in the area. The pizza is EXCELLENT and the waiting staff is very helpful. They have rotating taps, which I love. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they are wonderful.

You have arrived! Everything is great - food, service, atmosphere, and location. After almost a year of driving by and thinking it was just another motorcycle bar, we decided to see what the food was like. WOW were we surprised! There is a real chef in there that can think and cook - even custom make something if he can.

This is our second time dining at the Rock Creek Corner. I had the Ruben my boyfriend had the Blue Burger, we shared a bowl of the Homemade Broccoli Cheddar soup. Everything was absolutly delicious. The soup was homemade and full of fresh broccoli from their garden out back. The aroma of freshly smoked brisket waffting through dinning room, as they smoked their own brisket. All in all an amazingly delicious restaurant all wrapped up adorably cozy, old-timey, asthetic feel. With good prices and great customer service you can not go wrong eating here.

The best food, the best hide-away, you are in for a treat. If you are tired of being ignored because the restaurant is understaffed and the same old thing, come here. We were sweetly surprised with the friendly staff and excellent food!

Great place if you're a regular, not overly welcoming or service oriented if you're not. Food was ok, nothing to right home about. Not likely that I'll return to try it again.

I was craving a good burger and my daughter suggested we try Rock Creek Corner. She lives in Beaverton and had heard it was good. She heard right! The service was great, The food came quickly and was delicious. Our burgers were cooked just right and the fries were really good. The dining room is low key and comfortable, nothing fancy or really notable in the décor; But if your looking for something that tastes good and generous portions you have arrived!

Food was average. Decor an service was good. Nothing terribly special (in the dining room) but nothing terribly negative either...
