Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. Most pizzas at Pizza Hut are high in sodium and hence you must stick to one or max. two slices of any regular size pizza to limit your sodium intake. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. You can also limit yourself from ordering non-veg pizza and skip adding sides or dressing on your orders to ensure that your cholesterol is in check while dining at Pizza Hut.

Unbelievably bad. The pictures of the fried pepperoni and the three sad excuses of pizza are from this experience. So I ordered the "Cheese Lovers" with pepperoni. Guess what, barely any cheese and the frickin pepperoni was so burnt it literally just fell off the cheese.Never in my life have I had a pizza where the pepperoni just fell off the pizza. You could crumble the pepperoni into an almost dust state it was so fried. I actually have taken pictures of my receipt and sent them off to the Corporate office so the a-holes that made this pizza no longer have jobs. Just pathetic. The Pizza Hut in hazel Dell is actually really good, but this is just completely unacceptable.

Up Date on these guys-maybe just this store... About 75% of the time when I order wings (on the 50 cent wing day) I don't get what I order. I can't take the spicy spicy wing..I order with the Honey BBQ sauce. Last week I ordered 2 double orders, which is 4 pans of wings. 1 pan was actually Honey BBQ only, the other 3 pans were spicy wings with Honey BBQ on top of the cayane red pepper. Dudes..you can tell the difference. Really! If you don't have sufficient wings for the 2 double pan order, call me and I'll wait until you cook some more up...but don't send me the spicy with an over layer of Honey BBQ It isn't the same thing! A real disappointment to me!

Wow don't order your pizza on a Sunday night. Waited for 45 minutes and then my pizza was completely wrong. The order was taken correctly, luckily the girl at the counter opened the box to check it but the only topping that was correct was the cheese.

When I order delivery they're always on-time, often quite early. When I get carry out they are prompt and very friendly. Either way, they check the order to make sure it's right. There's nothing like Stuffed Crust, my fav pizza of theirs is Stuffed Crust with Alfredo sauce. I'm not a fan of the delivery fee and their call center is awful (order online), but those are corporate issues not related to this location. Keep up the good work, guys.

I mean...it is Pizza Hut. So my expectations really couldn't be much lower than they are. But the past few times i have ordered from this location i have really regretted it. The pizza is worse than i remembered...i don't even think what it tastes like can realistically even be called "pizza". Flavorless, bland, not salty enough (in the past i have gotten it so salty it is almost inedible, so very inconsistent). And almost stone-cold, surprisingly, since it is delivered from LITERALLY just across the street.

The Manager is always great and staff very helpful. Pizza always great. Our favorite location.

  • Jenny T.

You can't go wrong with $10 pizza. Delivery isn't the greatest, but if you pick up your pizza is yummy. We usually order online and then pick it up 20 minutes later. They usually have people waiting, but HEY when it's your turn to pick up your pizza, it is always ready. I haven't had a bad experience here, so I will go again and again.

Called in for pick up and I love that there is a screen that tells me how much longer I'll need to wait. Calling in was easy and the staff friendly.

If you really want to experience the flavor of this particular Pizza Hut, save yourself the time and money and just eat a handful of salt. Seriously, I've ordered here twice now and it was like that both times. I'm still thirsty two hours later. The first time I ordered, my pizza was pretty much drenched in grease, and tonight it wasn't as bad. Points for trying, I guess. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza with extra cheese both times, and the crust was paper thin and apparently the term 'extra' means 'hardly any'. I wouldn't be as annoyed at the lack of cheese if I hadn't paid almost $2 for what should have been extra. Overall, their pizza is pretty gross and they're not getting a third chance. The only reason this Pizza Hut is getting two stars instead of one is because the driver delivered on time.

  • D.J. L.

It's Pizza Hut. Not great and not bad. Just middle of the road pizza. But they are fast and open late ish. The delivery driver was fast and friendly and the Pizza was hot and fresh.

  • Chippy C.

The pizza I ordered was undercooked. Pizza Hut pizza with pan crust is normally nice and crisp. Not here. The crust was soggy and soft. I'm gonna go to Dominos pizza for my takeout next time. On the plus side, the gal at the front desk is courteous and efficient. Not sure about the kids in the kitchen making the pizza. They could do with more training.

Our pizza always arrives fresh and hot from this location. It's a lifesaver after a long day of work. They're quicker than a lot of other places and our order is always right!

I've contacted customer care once before and they gave me nice sounding apologies and a "credit". Tried to use the credit and guess what, won't work. Contact the same person and they tell me to "call them" when I'm ordering a pizza. You're fucking serious...CALL YOU to order a pizza? Are you out of your MIND, why would I call some random stranger to get a twenty dollar credit to fucking pizza hut? Are you trying to sound helpful while making it as HARD as humanly possible? I say fine, keep your credit, I just wanted your apologies anyways. Ordered online for a pickup, online says ready by a certain time. Get there and it's NOT ready. It's just a pizza and cheese sticks. Ended up waiting almost twenty minutes, brought the stuff home...the pizza is UNDERCOOKED. Yeah, to the point of having to slide the pizza off and continue to cook it at home. It is INEDIBLE, the crust is still soft, and when I tried to pick up a GIANT piece because they even failed to cut half of it, instead of coming off in one piece, it tears. We look and the dough under the pizza isn't even fully cooked. You know what, forget it. I kept coming back because I really liked your pizzas. Well I am not going to waste my time and money with you anymore, there are TONS of other places to get pizzas and I am going there. If I only get what I want half the time then what is the point at all. I'll settle for more reliable pizzas somewhere else. See you later pizza hut. I uploaded pictures of the pizza that made me finally see the light.

Every time I get a cold I get a horribly congested nose and head. I either spend hours waving Vicks in front of my face trying to be able to breathe again or I order Pizza Hut. Going on 7 years and this trick has never failed. 8 buffalo wings later and I can finally breathe again. The pizza is good and I love their stuffed crust. Of course you can't order this too often, due to calorie count and fact it's all processed. But it really hits the spot on a day home in bed. I deducting a star for their ever shrinking portions and rising prices. They used to sell 12 chicken wings for $5. Now it's 8 for $8.49. The wings remain unchanged and certainly haven't gone organic.

They suck. first it was 20 minutes later than they said it would be then the guy delivering my pizza drops my breadsticks on the ground and then my pizza was cold. so I called to complain then after I get harassed by the guy that delivered my pizza. is that how you guys tell your employees to handle customer complaints? so unprofessional! will NEVER order pizza from here again! oh and I didn't even want to give 1 star but had to to post this

I haven't eaten Pizza Hut in years. The service was fine but the pizza is atrocious. It has no flavor of the sauce. I the garlic crust that was insanely greasy and tasted like it has been dipped and soaked in butter. Nasty pizza. Next time I'll go to Dominos which is way better. Hey, it was only $7.99....you get what you pay for.

I have not done delivery from this place, I have only done carry out. My pizza is usually ready 10 minutes after I call the order in. The quality is good for Pizza Hut. L this isn't a fancy or trendy Pizza place, this is you know what you're getting Pizza Hut pizza. It's cheap and great for family movie nights.

Holy Pizza Palooza Batmen! In our ongoing quest for pizza, we ordered delivery from Pizza Hut last night.I ordered it about 7:00 after the Domino's website crashed on me mid order at 6:45 ( um, it said I had to call because there was a problem, and I was frustrated because I'd spent 30 mintues trying to get it to go through... so I just gave up.... but guess what? we got pizza delivered from Domino's anyway! at 7:20...). Back to Pizza Hut. It was delivered at 8:00, and It was cold, and the verdict from the group was that it was not good. It was cheap ( $10 for three topping large), but the crust was like cardboard, and the toppings were not delicious. The meat 'product" tastes more like TVP ( which they list on their website as an ingredient) than chicken or pork. Ick. We actually found the Domino's pizza to be tastier, faster, and while not cheaper with a somewhat broken website, it truly has improved over what it used to be. We will probably go with that next time and I won't throw in the towel if there is an issue. There just aren't great options in our area for pizza. Still working on this one. Open to thoughts? suggestions? help?! And don't tell me to make it myself. I have the stuff, the dough hook, the turkey pepperoni, but on a Friday night it just ain't happening.

We just ordered by phone after a failed attempt online. Let me say Mya was amazing!! If we could call and order with her every time life could be perfect!! Quick and efficient. She even called back to say they were out of one of the toppings and was very nice about it!! Winning!!!

I really enjoy the online deals and the opportunity to make the pizza the way we like it doing half-and-half sometimes works really great with the kids. Not the best pizza in the world honestly but affordable and still good tasting.

  • Kelly M.

This is the only pizza place that delivers to our house, so we order from them by default. I like their supreme pizzas - good toppings, and they're always cooked nicely. The past 2 times we have ordered from them, the pan pizza crust has NOT been cooked all the way through, especially on the bottom. It kind of ruins what you expect from Pizza Hut pan pizza. It's normally crispy and delicious, but if it's not cooked all the way, it's kind of gross. Also, Pizza Hut is really lacking in the breadsticks and cheesesticks department - not nearly as good as the other two major chain pizza places! They do deliver right within their projected time window, though.

  • Cheryl D.

I kinda doubt they look at Yelp reviews or their score would not be so shitty, but I will give it a whirl. I loved Pizza Hut as a kid and I have fond memories of the Pan Pizza Crust, all buttery and delish. I am also a huge fan of their wings, I don't know much about wings but I like theirs. I have ordered from this location three times in my existence, two times they totally messed up my order, including tonight, I ordered no green bell peppers, I got them anyway. Last time they messed it up as well. Their wings are good but too expensive. I was desperate, what can I say.

    (2)
  • Busymom V.

Customer service at this location is 4*. They are courteous and make sure you have everything before you leave the store. Never messed an order and consistent service. Wish I could say the same about the taste of the pizzas. The past few times have been a hit or miss. Please improve the consistency of your food.

    (3)
  • Sean A.

The deals they have maybe top notch, but the food sure isn't. Pizza Hut chains have tumbled to the bottom recently. The quality is poor, and service is mediocre at best. We have tried this location a couple of times now to varying degrees of disappointment. There is NO discernible difference between a hand tossed and a pan pizza, and there should be a big one. The quality is almost on par with a frozen pizza at this point. The sauces typically give heartburn (over seasoned?) and the crusts seem like they are over proofed. I guess they are focusing on their pastas now (?). I'll stick with the mom and pop places or dominoes, who have REALLY stepped up their game.

    (1)
  • Holy-foo' X.

Ugggghhhhhhh. Why oh why oh why Lord, do we do this to ourselves? $10 for any pie, is the current promotion.... sounds like a bargain, til you consider the ongoing $5.99 promotion @ Dominos, etc. The really crazy part is, this used to seem like good pizza, at least the over-the-top buttery, garlicky crust. Nowadays, there's such a hefty surcharge for delivery, you're left wondering "Ok, does that cover the tip, or merely pizza hut's fees for paying their driver?" So many better options, even in the wee hours.

  • Ann K.

Date Visited: Saturday 1/9/10 (Dinner) I can see that having the pizza delivered is not a good experience with this location. I'm not one to have pizza delivered as it's just as easy to go and get it myself (this is what my nearly 11-year-old car is for). SO, I decided to order on-line. They had a special going on where you could get any pizza size and up to 5 toppings for only $10. The website was great. It had the special on there and gave you all the needed options to correctly order your pizza (including the "No Cheese" option), review it, and then submit it. After submitting my order, the site indicated my order would be ready at 7:08 p.m. I love that! After tinkering around for 10 minutes, we got in the car and drove to the restaurant. I recall this restaurant used to have a little seating area for patrons and just had a little walk-up counter to pick up orders. Now, the seating area is no longer there and the counter has expanded. Anyway, the order was ready for us. We double-checked them before we left the restaurant and the pizzas were perfect. In fact, typing this review the next afternoon is making me crave leftovers, so I'm gonna go and heat some up. I love Pizza Hut pizza!

  • Akemi I.

Even though this location is closer to where we live than any other Pizza Hut, we no longer get food from here. In fact, this location made me swear off of Pizza Hut in Oregon for the past six years... until last night. (We tried another Beaverton location.) It was a painful estrangement because I've loved Pizza Hut since I was an elementary school student in the Book It! program - c'mon, free pizza for reading? I'm so there! (I also love reading... as a kid I used to get in trouble for reading too much - or at inappropriate times.) So, we tried getting pizza here: (1) by delivery (pizza = cold, forgot dipping sauce for breadsticks), (2) for pick-up (Sam arrived, pizza was on the shelf, counter guy said to wait, 10 min. later CG checked the pizza on the shelf and gave it to Sam - pizza cold again) and (3) eat-in (we weren't seated, but others who got there after us were so we just left). NO STARS!

    (1)
  • John L.

$10 large pizzas! It feels bad for the soul to take this offer and hurt the little independent pizza places, but $10 large pizzas is a steal! We get pepperoni and onions and it's consistently hot and fresh for pickup. We gave up on delivery long ago. A large pizza is good for 2 meals for the 2 of us. Sure beats cooking!

    (4)
  • Ron T.

2 stars for slow delivery service that I've availed of atleast three times. even lower for their website that haven't been maintained for a while (yes, your map doesn't include the area where i'm at). 3 for greasiness. admit it, we all love greasy foods once in a while. (Once being so subjective to each individual- once for me is once every three months. for some fattiecakes there, it maybe once a meal) so there. meatlovers pizza.... hmmmm...

  • Kyle T.

They do not deliver to Portland Speed Industries which is unfortunate because we often order pizza for our workers when we work late. We ordered large pan pizzas and the crust was good as always.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
