Pizanos Pizza Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Chicken bacon pizza and garlic knots are awesome! Quick delivery. Definitely best pizza in Hazelwood!

I work in the service industry, so I have never been inclined to write a negative review...until now. Too bad as it was my first time trying Pizanos and my first night in a new neighborhood. The good: great tasting crust, good sauce-to-cheese ratio. The bad: Two items in my order were wrong-pineapple was only on one half of my pizza instead of all over. A shame, as my boyfriend's half of the pizza had pork, which I do not eat or I would have just stolen his pineapples! Also, my Caesar salad came with a balsamic dressing instead of the Caesar dressing as was described in the menu (as well as being common sense). The ugly: I called for a refund on the incorrect items. I was made to wait on the phone while I could hear employees laughing and saying to tell me the manager wasn't there. I was given the number to GrubHub, who I ordered through, and was told that they would refund me. GrubHub told me they contacted Pizanos, but their manager refused to offer compensation as he said my food was made correctly. Which is basically calling me a liar. Not cool. Moral of the story-I will continue ordering through apps exclusively, as GrubHub offered me credit when Pizanos wouldn't. Now THAT is great customer service.

Nothing was wrong with the food but the customer service is not worth coming back for. The dirty blonde with tattoos on her arm was rude and I felt unwanted there. I was being considerate, rather than leaving my trays on the table, I was putting them away by the front desk, and I was heading out the door, I was rudely told "they don't belong there."

Pizza out of a glorified Easy Bake Oven? I think not. The place is dirty. If you are going to have an open prep area, at least keep it clean. Very mediocre pizza but then again, this is Portland. They wouldn't last a week on the east coast.

Within a city that has some great artisan pizza and really cool and different types of pizza, this place is, well just ordinary. Nothing really stood out. Yes, I realize I am a pizza snob being that I'm from NJ and have grown up on great zah from the New York/ New Jersey area. But you gotta strive to be better than the big chains. The pizza needed seasonings, even something as simple as salt would have added something to it. I had a slice of pepperoni and one of chicken bacon alfredo. The pepperoni was the better tasting of the two. Kinda blah, but this was mall pizza, not sure about the five star reviews, maybe they just haven't experienced amazing pizza yet. Hope this helps out some. I've got more food to try.

Ordered From Grub Hub, 2.50 delivery very very reasonable and great Prices for the quality of the pizza. The standard Cheese I ordered has 4 types of cheeses for a more complex flavor than your standard chain cookie cutter places. The crust was very thin and well cooked unlike the half cooked thick crust of other places with only minor blackness around the edges. Pizza sauce was flavorful and tasted fresh made it had actual chunks of tomato and tasted like it was made from fresh tomatoes. Garlic bread tasted good and had plenty of flavor. I have a lactose intolerance so pizza is a rare treat but I will be ordering again for a party.

Does not even achieve ordinary. We had an event for 60 people. Asked three times before ordering if they could handle the volume and get the food delivered on time. "Not a problem" we were assured. To cut to the chase, no food for the first 5/6th of the event. It did show (after a ton of prompting) 7 minutes before close, which of course was useless. Nothing like 60 hungry, surly people telling you their afternoon was ruined. To add insult to injury, the staff on the phone could not have been ruder when I politely called for progress checks. "It will get there when it gets there". If they had called to warn us or been even 1% apologetic (like a normal business that caters to CUSTOMERS), I would have been willing to cut them a little slack.Having them tell me to stop bothering them and wasting their time-not ideal. Allow me also to suggest-not worth waiting for. 1.5 stars for the pizza, though the one with gluten free crust was apparently decent. Of course, we gave away most of the food, as no one has time to eat it. To be honest, the delivery guy was apologetic and kind. Strongly recommend going somewhere else-no shortage of pizza in the area.

When I walked up to order I felt rushed and the staff didn't look like they wanted to actually help people, it was my first time there so I just had like two questions about the food. The cashier looked annoyed with having to do her job, but tried to be nice. I got my piece of pizza and took a bite and half of it was still COLD. So that just ruined my whole experience. I didn't want to further disturb the already seemed-to-be disturbed worker there so I just put up with it. The place is also pretty dirty looking, it could use a good sweeping and deep clean. I should've just drove an extra 5 minutes over to flying pie, much better bbq pizza there!

I just arrived from the east coast and was quite exhausted. I called Pizano's for delivery and ordered a combination pizza and a ranch steak sandwich (can't recall the exact name, but was on a gyro type bread.) It was very good, the sauce had a great flavor and I was completely satisfied. The steak and ranch sandwich was eaten later and still tasted fabulous. It wasn't like delivery at all. I saved this place to my phone and will definitely call them again the next time I visit Portland!

Just moved in the neighborhood and found this place, the pizza was great and so were the folks working there, one guy with lots of tattoos made our day.

This is a review by a vegetarian You'd be shocked and amazed how small a poor quality slice you get for $3.25 Instead, go next door to Target, buy whatever frozen pizza is on sale, put it on your engine block, when you arrive at your destination you'll have way more better pipn'hot pizza than if you patronized Pizanos.

I'm giving two stars because I had the pasta penne alfredo with shrimp and it was really good. However, I'm giving two stars because I was disturbed by the way the food was prepared. Maybe I have higher expectations, but not a single worker wore gloves while preparing the food. The lady who took my cash didn't even wash her hands between handling my money and touching someone's pizza. The bag that my shrimp came out of sat on the counter after they put it in my food for the entire time I waited for my food, which was about 5-7 minutes. The workers seemed more interested in socializing with each other than working. I even had to ask for a fork because they don't have any sitting out. On a positive note, you do get good value for your money, although it costs an extra $2 to add shrimp to the pasta.

The good thing about this place is it smells delicious from the outside! That entire corner of Mall 205 (next to the cycling store/Home Depot) smells amazingly like Pizza. Practically everytime I walk in towards Bed Bath and Beyond, I am tempted. So yesterday I finally gave this place a shot. The pizza was mediocre, the dough was a bit dry and kind of crumbled a bit. There was really no crust which sometimes is the best part depending on why types of pizza you get. Would I go back? Yeah if the scent hits me at the right time! If I worked in the mall, I would say, the specials are really good so I would definitely go there on a regular basis. On a very positive note, the service was really good.

I some how ended up here, thinking my son was grabbing a slice of pizza on the way home but ended up sitting down in here eating a slice myself. I think Pizza Schmizza is a lot better than they are and the place was kind of dirty. The pizzas looked a little tired behind the glass, but I opted to split a Hawaiian slice and veggie combo. The hawaiin piece I had had one tiny little pineapple on it and was more about the greasy. I didn't even eat half the veggie combo and ended up tossing it. I thought of the Di Girono commercials that claim you can't tell if its take out or Di Girono. I think I'd pick the frozen one over this. I know this might not bug another person, but when I was sitting there, I saw the new waitress come in on her shift and they were talking about her schedule and she was standing there pulling her hair back while standing over a couple of pizzas on the counter. I might not have noticed but she was kind of leaning against the counter while she did it and she had really long hair. However, my son does like them a lot, so it could go either way I guess, but he did say he liked Pizza Schmizza better.

So I was going to target to Christmas shop and decided to give this place a SECOND TRY! Our first time experience there was horrible. Bad customer service, it's like you're bothering them when it's time to order. The food isn't good, taste old and soggy! Place is so dirty and filthy. Rude staff! The second time was exactly the same. The lady who was working even had the nerves to bad mouth about the previous customers to us. Super unprofessional! Trust the reviews and don't go here.

This place rocks! I live north in Washington, my boyfriend lives in NE Portland, as a gift, I ordered him a pizza, salad and soda online. They delivered faster than there online established time stated and then they sent out great texts letting my guy know when pizza was cooked and on its way to him! Crisp, fresh salad, great pizza and service!! Definitely a great find and we'll be ordering again!!

  • Rachel H.

Ok, so $3 for a slice is a bit high. The Hawaiian slice I had was pretty good (it would have tasted better if it was less than $3, even $2.75 would have set my expectations a little more appropriately!!), and the breadstick for $0.99 looked better than it tasted to me. I think I was expecting more garlic. I am still giving this place four stars because the woman working the register when I visited was charming and helpful and went above and beyond in efforts to answer my question about the options. I also loved that there is a sign up saying you can text the manager with any comments or concerns. I texted him/her about that employee right away because she deserves recognition! I never received anything back so who knows if it went through. Small things: there was a panel missing from the front of the soda fountain and the table I used was kinda greasy but I wouldn't say the place was as filthy as others implied.

Horrible customer service!! I called last night to order a pizza and was told to hang on but instead phone got disconnected. I called back and started my order. I end up getting a tirade from the self proclaimed owners sister and she ends up being very rude and asking "if i want to order a pizza or not"! ! I thought for split second because I had really wanted to try the pizza there. But I said no I don't want to anymore and we hung up. I immediately called to Wall Street Pizza instead!

It's not as bad as the concession pizza I had at the Memorial Coliseum (served by Ovation), but almost. That's not saying a lot, because the concession pizza at the Coliseum was terrible. Pizza Schmizza mall 205 is now closed, and in its place is Pizanos. I wasn't making a special trip here (I was actually seeking out Ozzie's, which has some interesting reviews - alas it was closed) but ended up deciding to try a slice to see if it's something worth ordering for home delivery. I can say with confidence that it's not. My small $3 (yikes!) slice of cheese was pretty much completely flavorless. The signs say it's all made fresh, in-house, from proprietary recipes (using "100% Italian olive oil!") which I respect but the pizza was just sort of blah. Definitely not as good as Schmizza, which I find to be just average in its own right. While I was initially stoked to see that there's another pizza joint near my hood that delivers, I was ultimately disappointed in the lack of actual delivery on flavor and quality. Typical mall pizza.

  • Jennifer L.

We had a deal so the price was pretty good. The pizza (and therefore slices) were huge and it wasn't bad at all. The breadsticks were so soft and delicious. The wings were good as well, but know that there are only plain, hot, or BBQ. The staff was super friendly and it was quick to get your food. You might not go out of your way, but if you're in the area I could say that it's worth checking out.

  • Ashley T.

Went to this place because I was shopping in the area and was starving! Walked by and they had a $10 large 2 topping pizza deal and $2.50 beers during happy hour. I ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza. The pizza was okay, nothing amazing tho! Tables were filthy and looking like they hadn't been wiped all day. Overall it was okay and a cheap meal but probably won't try again.

I ordered pizanos tonight, wanting a change from Red Baron which is yummy....should have stuck with the Baron! Sooo salty.

  • Jme P.

I've never actually been in the restaurant...but I order for delivery via grubhub.com all the time, and its exceptional! The food is always amazing, the delivery persons are so kind; and its extremely easy to order online! I usually only order cheese pizza, a pizano, and salad in which I can speak highly about. I am not sure what all the bad reviews are...this place is a 5 star when taking into consideration the style/type of restaurant it is and its atmosphere it wishes to portray. If anything, get what i mentioned earlier. You'll not be dissatisfied.

  • Mike D.

The pizza had good flavor but was left out for a while, so it was not as hot as desired. The facility was filthy. If I were a health inspector I would have shut the place down. The tables.were smeared with sauce and it was evident they had not been cleaned all day. The floor was littered with old pizza pieces that fell on the floor. The floor was also littered with general trash. If it is this messy what condition is the kitchen and prep area. Stay away there are better places.

  • Carlen L.

Pizza was not bad, but the place was filthy. UGH!! The breadsticks were so good and you can't beat that for only 99 cents.

  • Mishka W.

The pizza here is just OK. I've ordered quite a few times since they had pretty good coupons, even the pizza isn't that great. But the pizza is getting worse and they are getting super stingy with coupons. It used to be free delivery over a certain amount and you could still use a coupon, then they took that away, and now you have to choose. That makes the pizza itself pretty expensive.

This was really good pizza. The pepperoni wad spicy, the crust was crisp and they sell by the slice. I will be going often.

I walked in and ordered a chicken alfredo with bacon pazini for $5. Best $5 lunch I had in a long time. The portions was generous and cooked to perfection. I have ate at other Pizanos Pizza locations but it wasnt as good as this location. Good food, good portions, great prices and great service.

I'm not sure I even want to post this because I'd love to keep this little gem from becoming a big, crowded mess. However, I can't help but share how much we LOVE Pizano's Pizza. We pick up our pizza every Friday night for Family Movie Night. We've only eaten in the restaurant once and the slices were good, but getting a whole pizza is to die for. Spicy enough for the adults, but still good for kids. We will be coming back again and again!!

This place is great. We ordered for the first time from them tonight and experienced excellent customer service with great food. I'd recommend the Steak and Cheese Pazini, bomb. Pizza tasted home made and fresh. Wings were second best I've had in PDX. We found our new pizza spot and cannot wait to try their other sandwhiches.

Tried a pizza when it first opened at Mall 205. It was certainly not something that I am going to pay that kind of money for again. The crust tasted like a soda cracker!?!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together.
