The folks that work here are kind and fast at the register. They run an honest store, and chances are, the person helping you at the register are family members of whoever you saw last time. Typically you see the husband or/and wife, and on occasion the owner ladys uncle covers for them. I've never been ripped off here, and their prices are fair on most items. They sell your typical travel sized toiletries and pain relievers, ground coffees like Seattle's best or Starbucks, energy drinks of all kinds and beer/wine. If you're into it, you can buy their pipes and pocket knives in the front case or cigarettes. Ad much as I like the idea of their small business thriving among competitors like plaid or 7-11, I highly recommend skipping cigarettes all together lol They're close to the bus line which is nice as well. Happy shopping ;)

I love this place, the people here may seem too quiet but I will HAPPILY take that over being watched like I'm Villain at the local 7-11 or the Plaid Pantry. They have just about everything you might be stopping at Plaid or 711 for. Every now and then items are cheaper, and some are more expensive (like a bag of coffee). That can be said about any store though. Don't let the lack of brick walls or fancy signs fool you, this place is great, family owned, and they have moonshine. Every place should have that. Support the little guy! Happy shopping Yelpers :)

Quaint little mom-n-pop neighborhood market. Very small, not much of a selection, but the owners and the rest of their family who work there are decent hard-working people. Their nephew is super nice and funny. He makes me laugh whenever he's working behind the counter. Nice guy. They're open 7 days a week.

Cashier: You have to hold your dog. Me: *looks down at my service dog, wearing a large vest that states: service dog* Are you serious? Cashier 2: Yes, this isn't a pet store. She was on her leash, so they meant I had to have her in my arms? In my area, this is the closest convenience store. But I will walk a further distance to avoid this place at all costs.

Ho-Leeeee shnikeys. This is about as vintage No-Po as it gets. The main memory, from earliest childhood, is bugging mom to get boo-berry breakfast cereal, while shopping @ this store. We used to live just on the other side of Columbia Park, on N. Lombard, from this shop. Right next to the tire store, that's been there forever. Close to the old Weir's bike shop, and Merck Realty. And Taco Bell. Do they even make Boo-berry cereal anymore? Does anybody even know..? Boo-berry and rainbow popcycles, that's what I remember about this store. I got a brand new trike for my b-day during this era, but alas (of course) it was stolen. That's just No-Po fo' ya, once again....!
