Okay so I'm a common at different happy-hour menus, in fact I thrive on cheap grub. To start off I'll name the awesome parts of this location. *Located near PSU, which is convenient for meeting up with fellow students during break, or grabbing a quick bite *Happy hour menu rocks, it's 4-6pm daily. I am able to completely gorge myself for $4 on a veggie burger- complete with fries. I also recommend the chips and salsa for $2.65 when with a group. Now the downsides of this location: *Service sucks, and I mean sucks bad. Every time I've gone I've had a different policy told to me regarding the happy hour menu. Sometimes each person in the group must purchase a drink, and then sometimes it's okay if one person purchases a drink. *It's over-priced, unless it's happy hour food. The amount of food you get for what you pay doesn't match up to other pubs around the area. *Again- for emphasis- service sucks.

Should we instead call this Anytown Pub USA? It was like we were right out of pub owners 101 including boring bar food, bland atmosphere and blah beer. The way people talk up the McMenamins chain, I was at least hoping for great beer, but it wasn't. It was average just like this place. Skip and try something else like Henry's.

Some of the worst service I have experience in a McMenamins. Save yourself the trouble and try one of the many other locations.

If you're used to McMenamins establishments, you know what to expect from this place. It's right in the middle of PSU's urban campus, which makes it a great place to meet with friends after class. It's not my favorite McMenamins, as the service is miserably slow and the waitstaff can be less than helpful. Still, during the off hours it's a nice, familiar place to grab a beer and a burger.
