Nicely prepared food, great beer tap list and bar and an amazing selection of bar games: pinball, arcade, shuffleboard, pool, and foosball. I wish the branding was better, the place is worth checking out.. You just wouldn't guess it from the sign. -update! They re-did the branding! New favorite dish is the ménage a trois, steak served rare on hot rock with three different sauces. The burger is also ridiculous, go for the Gouda and bacon. Great spot.

This place has foosball and shuffleboard. That is awesome. Good beer selection and the bar tender was super friendly. But don't eat here. Super weird menu and nothing was even close to worth the price. I got the smoked meats plate of mystery meat (no one seemed to know what meats were included) for $12. It came with three small pieces of each the of meat. The flavor was okay, but it was served cold. Cold pork tenderloin and wild boar (eventually someone told me what the meats were) were weird and kind of gross, unless your into cold smoked meat. The smoked sea bass tasted just like beef jerky, if that gives you some idea of how over smoked it was. I could only bring myself to eat one piece of each meat.

One star because the woman working at the bar who helped us was awesome. She took great care of us and was super sweet. Minus 4 stars for the overpriced menu, lackluster burger that was more than a little reminiscent of a McDonald's dish, overly salted fries, and steak that I could've whipped up at home in ten minutes (and I'm no skilled kitchen hand). As someone who works in a restaurant and lives in the neighborhood, I can't see this place lasting longer than six months. Which I regret saying, because, again, the woman working their was delightful.

Was in town from the bay area this past weekend visiting a friend and decided to check this place out since we were staying near by and we were both starving. We sat at the bar and was pretty impressed to see a good craft beer selection. We had some trouble deciding between all of them so I asked the bartender for recommendations and he was nice enough to give us some tasters of a couple we narrowed it down to. I ended up going with the Abominal Snowman which I guess is pretty popular in Portland since i ended up seeing it a few other places in town. The food menu was a bit different than what I expect when I go into a bar. Usually I expect to see mostly burgers, wings, and other fried apps, but they had a pretty good variety of stuff like pastas, chicken dinners, pot roast. I decided on the Winner Winner chicken dinner which was breaded in corn flakes, served with mashed potatoes (with skin), and a cheddar jalopeno biscuit. Our food came out quicker than I expected. The chicken was moist, had a good crunch to it, good mash, and great biscuits which i used to soak up the gravy and pesto aioli. My friend had the Spaghetti O's and meatballs which i tried a little of. It looked like cut up rigatoni into small rings, had a pretty good sauce, and I really liked the meatballs. It was kind of a throw back to when I was a kid since the food looked similar, but I'm just glad the taste didn't haha. We ended up going back the next night for dinner since we really liked the food and wanted to watch some hockey. I wasn't really sure how that would pan out since I have no idea how hockey is perceived in Portland and there was a Trailblazers game on. We decided to ask anyways and they were nice enough to turn the sharks game for us since they had plenty of other TV's on the Trailblazers game. They also had a pub crawl come through that night which filled the place up quickly. I kind of wish I knew about it ahead of time so I could of brought a ugly Christmas sweater and joined them

I walk in an notice it's not that full. I then wait 30 min to get service. I had to ask if I'm in the right area to get service. I order at half time.... Haven't received my food and there is 8 min left in the game...

My friends and I stumbled upon this place by accident. I'm glad we did. Food is delicious, drinks were strong, everything was extremely reasonable in price and dessert came with a show.

Walked in expecting an average sports bar and was pleasantly surprised at their food . Super tasty food for a reasonable price. Their pig in a blanket was to die for and their Mac and cheese was so good and filling it could make for several meals throughout the week. Specialty drinks are also delicious. The back also houses a hidden game room with more tvs and extra space. All in all really happy I stopped in. I will definitely be back

Went for dinner before a Timber game. I will not make the same mistake again!!! The corn chowder was inedible, the fish tacos...really? EW! AND SO SMALL, couldn't feed my fish! The turkey club sandwich came from Oscar Mayer. The arugula salad was horrible and tasted like dirt from my garden. Worst $80 I ever spent! I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy...

We discovered this place because it was next to our dance studio and convenient for meals before or after lessons. Don't be deceived... At first you think you will see traditional "bar food" but nothing could be farther from the truth. The food is unique and you have to read the menu carefully because many of the names are "play on words." If you order "fish tacos" you will not get what you imagine. What you do get is 2 delicate morsels of scallop seviche used as the "shell" and more fish on the inside. Very yummy! One of favorites is "Pigs in a Blanket" which is a tender piece of pork belly wrapped in puff pastry. We also love the Pho' duck. The broth is home made, rich and delicious, and the dish has plenty of duck meat, vegetables and noodles. The "menage a trois" is 3 medallions of tenderloin, served on hot stones (so you can cook your meat rare or medium at your table) and comes with 3 separate dipping sauces, each one more tasty than the next. The staff is friendly and attentive. The beer selection is amazing. We always leave talking about the food and how great it was. PS: the chef does a monthly tasting menu with local craft beer companies, pairing a different beer with 7 fabulous food courses, for $50! We have attended several of these and have not been disappointed. Tickets can be bought at the bar. They seat about 24 people at 2 long tables and it's a great evening!

I came here for the first time to grab some drinks and bites before the Timbers game. Really good selection of beer and delicious mixed drinks as well! Originally, my friend and I were going to have one drink there and hop to another joint for the rest, but the staff and crowd were so friendly and enjoyable we decided to stay. We ended up ordering the pigs in a blanket and the fries. They knocked those out of the park! I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! Very casual spot with high end food and a great staff. Win win. I also heard they do a special 7 course meal at the end of the month so I'm looking forward to buying my ticket for that.

What a joke. The decor is all free crap from beer distributors. The menu is bloated with some hack's idea of nouveau fusion with heavy handed "twists" on traditional dishes that just sound corny. Well, here's the real twist: I couldn't even order the service was so bad. The bartender went to eat his sandwich rather than asking if I'd like to order anything. The neighborhood will not miss this place when it fails.

Thanks for the beer. But we didn't need yet another sports bar in the neighborhood. This one is no different from the rest.

Amazing brunch food (make sure you get the gravy), $10 bottomless mimosas, and no wait! Plus, the servers are always kind and energetic.

Lets be honest...a face lift does not fix the fact that this is another average/below average bar/"food" place. Get rid of the quotations on everything on the menu...don't use liquor company swag for your decor and menus...get an image of your own and a kitchen staff that's worth the beautiful kitchen you bought into. No one is going to pay to be in a shit hole unless it's an honest shit hole. (quality dive bar) ...invest in a reputable chef (and cooks that don't drunkenly walk into the kitchen to explain to another cook what a flat top is), menus that don't hide behind quotation marks and shitty plastic covers...and more personality than a few edison bulbs ( been done, but they look nice), an overpriced selection of liquor company provided 'basic bitch' cocktails and blue lights that don't do justice to even this shitty collection of party girl booze. If you're going to spend this much money to take over a previously boring space in the neighborhood, at the very least, do it with some class and a true vision rather than another mediocre attempt at slinging fireball, beer and sports to the bridge and tunnel douchbags that don't belong here in the first place. The bartender with the nice beard, however, is very understanding and willing to listen to critique. A shining star among this pile of mediocrity.

This is a fine dining establishment VERY WELL DISGUISED as a Sports Bar/Hangout. Don't be fooled! Ronnie puts out a plate of what he calls "Yankee Pot Roast" that is nothing short of spectacular. I would have licked the plate if I was not in a public place. I guess it is in the same general category as Yankee Pot Roast, in the same way a Ferrari is in the same general category as a Yugo. The folks working there, starting with Tawny, all enjoy their work and clearly have high hopes for the place, which is refreshing to see. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Once again, DON'T BE FOOLED into thinking this is "burgers and fries" (although they have those) quality of food. You are in for a great meal. BTW: They make their own desserts, and you have to try Ronnie's version of the Peanut Butter Cup

First time coming into this establishment and probably the last. My first beer was short due to me getting the bottom of the keg. The beer was flat and not up to par do the bartender said he would comp it but later on my check I was charged three dollars and told he had to pay for it so I guess I did too. The menu for food is a joke...a 12 burger?!? Get outta here!! Will not be coming back sadly cause I would like to have a bar in walking distance with bar food and televisions for the game super bummer.

Love this joint! Creative menu, comfortable, great video to watch the game. Had the " fungus amongus" portobello mushroom burger. Delicious! As was the "pot de creme" for desert! Check it out!

The food and drinks are great, and THE SERVICE IS UNMATCHED! From the front of house to the guys in the kitchen (it was slower when I was there, so we met the whole staff). This crew is friendly, quick, and it really shows that they care about the product they're putting out for the customer. I will definitely be back!

This was the first place I visited upon my move to Portland a month ago and I have been back there on 5 different occasions in the past month. One because the staff is amazing, friendly and competent. Second because the food speaks for itself. It is inventive and delicious with large portions sizes. They have a happy hour menu, that goes from both 3-6pm and 9pm-11pm and that in itself makes me happy. I am never able to make earlier happy hours so I love late night happy hours. The managers Clayton and TJ are both really great and approachable. The chef is friendly, and approachable something you would never really find in the bay area. He makes homemade peanut butter cups and pudding, need I go on!! The Reuben is freakin amazing, there gravy is so good I tell them all the time I would gladly order it to eat it like soup, it really is that good. I love the mac n cheese on the happy hour menu, and battered mushrooms. The bar is super clean, well maintained and fully stocked with a large beer selection. This is a great local hang out place, but large enough for large parties and events. Also Lots of TV's with sports if your a fan. All in all a great find for me in the NW area where I live.
