I work in an office where vendors quite often bring us in lunch. I guess it isn't bribery as long as it's edible. My co-workers LOVE it when they bring in Ingallinas, but I made the mistake of trying out a salad (versus their awesome sandwiches) and felt that it left something to be desired. For starters, there was just too much lettuce and not enough barbecue chicken. I also hate those weird lettuces that resemble seaweed (like coral found on the ocean floor) and taste bitter like a lime rind. You know? The kind that looks more like it belongs in a flower pot than on your plate. It's that damned endive frisee stuff that looks more like Oscar the Grouch than food. I absolutely love all of Ingallinas sandwiches (well, except for the Greek one, but that's because it's vegetarian and I believe meat belongs between 2 pieces of bread) so I should stick with what I know I will love. They use fat pieces of fresh bread and always stuff their sandwiches full of meats and cheeses. I guess that's why I didn't realize my salad would have so much lettuce...which sounds dumb, considering that lettuce is the staple in which a salad is based upon. Next time, I am back to my old standby of smoked turkey and bacon on whole wheat bread. Their lunch boxes come with a dish of fruit or vegetables, a giant cookie (my favorite being their snicker doodle), potato chips and a bottle of water. I really shouldn't complain too much about the salad...I just ate all the chicken and tortilla chips off the top of my salad then pushed the extra half bowl of lettuce away and dug into the other goodies.

I've used Ingallina's catering service extensively over the past few months. We held training sessions for 70 people over the course of two weeks and ordered Ingallina's every day for breakfast and lunch. Deliver is always prompt, driver courteous. Food is reasonably priced (for a box lunch) and always good. People are always pleased with their food. I highly recommend these folks for business meetings and working lunches.

They have a good selection of food for meetings. However they're not good about delivering on time. Customer service is good, food is okay too. They won't be high on my list again for my next meeting

I didn't eat there at all today, but instead had one of their delivered box lunches. I had a chicken club sandwich, perfectly tasty, but given a do-over, I'd have the Asian Noodle Salad. The rest of the lunch consisted of chips, fruit, cookie, and bottle of water. There was a nice balance to it and not too much or too little food. Presentation was attractive and clean, and everything arrived on time. Good food and good service; definitely use them for your next catered event.

Great place to deliver business lunches. They offer sandwich boxes and salad boxes. They have locations in Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles

Ingallina's rocks!!!! The food is always great and the service is OUSTANDING. And not just by my judgement. I work at a firm that has extremely high expectations for commercial caterers, both in quality and service. But Ingallina's always surpasses everyone's expectations. Today, we mistakenly forgot to make a special note that one of our orders needed to be gluten-free, so naturally Ingallina's delivered a regular order instead. This could have been a disaster as the recipient is gluten intollerant and there was no time to make other arrangements. However, even though it was our mistake, Ingallina's immediately sent another driver out with the gluten-free order and it was here within 30 minutes. What's more, they didn't even charge us for the replacement! Thank you Ingallina's for saving the day. I would highly recommend Ingallina's for any of your business catering needs.

We just used Ingallina's for a company picnic, and I was really pleased. Our event was on a Sunday, they delivered everything on time (given a 30 minute window), and the food was great. Our group (like all of Portland) is filled with people with food allergies and sensitivities. I called Ingallina's ahead of time to find out if there were any potential allergens in the food, they ran down the ingredients with me, and the chef labeled anything in our bunch of items that did have allergens (specifically egg). Everybody liked the food (we got the tropical platter plus a few other things), and unlike the other reviews here, our fruit was super fresh. Really pleased with the food and service. Will definitely use again.

Welcome to the world of mediocrity. Now keep in mind that this is a catering business, so you are paying for the service of having food delivered to your office ... unfortunately, the food is just not that great. You get a little fruit salad, which is great, but the fruit is old and on the verge of extinction. You get a cookie, which is nice, and tastes okay. The main event, your sandwich, is disappointing. It is shockingly small. And all the ingredients are just clumped in the middle, like they were dropped from the sky, instead of being laid across the bread like a proper sandwich. So you end up with about 50% of the sandwich being bread only, and half of the sandwich being a clump of fixings, whatever it was that you ordered. If you happen to get a lunch box because your office orders from this place, then I think that you can safely eat it, but by no means should you go out of your way to procure one. If you get the pick of where to order lunch from, I'd stay well clear.

Was brought to our office for lunch, everyone seemed to love their box lunch. I had the smoked turkey havarti sandwich and it was very tasty...it also came with Tim's kettle chips and a big cookie. The fruit in the fruit salad didn't seem super fresh, but that could be due to how far they brought it from, and from sitting unrefrigerated in our lunchroom for over an hour...

I usually don't get excited about box lunches, but my office has started using them and they are the absolute best! Their selection is extensive (you can even get a California roll box!), the food is great and they even throw in mini water bottles, wet naps & a mint (I got a chocolate covered fortune cookie with my California roll & Asian noodle salad box- yum!). They deliver & are great for working lunch meetings and I think they also have catering platters. We use them all of the time now & I highly recommend them!

As far as a boxed lunch goes Ingallinas' is actually pretty rad. We ordered their fiesta platter for our biweekly office meeting, it came with the following: *Assorted Wraps *Large Fruit Tart *Chips w/ Salsa and Guacamole *Tortilla Salad We also ordered a side of cake bites - I felt that 24.00 for a platter of 24 cake bites was a little steep, but after tasting one I couldn't have been more wrong. They are by far the BEST cake bites I've ever had. I generally hate cake. I think it's far too dry and just leaves my mouth with an overly sweet taste in it. These were almost more like brownie bites, and while they were very rich, they didn't leave you feeling like you're mouth was going into diabetic shock. The fruit tart was just as good as the cake bites. The fruit was fresh, the custard was light and pleasantly flavored with an even consistency in texture, and the cookie crust was chewy and moist. We all agreed that the salad was wonderful. The vegetables were all crisp and fresh, it contained beans and corn as well, and some chicken. None of the flavors seemed to over power any of the others, they all worked together. In fact, it was so good it really didn't need any dressing. The chips weren't terrible, but they weren't great either. The salsa was a tad runny for my tastes, but the guacamole made up for it. It had chunks of avocado in it and the different spices and vegetables really came together. Surprisingly, the wrap itself was my least favorite part of the meal. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't great either. Overall it was fairly bland - except for the beef, which was almost gamey. My biggest complaint with the wraps was that they were very random. There was no way to tell what was what - aside from whether it came in a tomato tortilla or a spinach tortilla and whether it was chicken or beef. Some had pickled onions and mango salsa in them, others had feta in them I think while another was an unknown sauce, meat and lettuce. It seemed to be most people's least favorite part of the meal. Going back, all of the sides are most certainly something I would order again. Unfortunately I believe I would steer clear of these particular wraps and try out their sammichs.. since everyone swears that they're amazing. Pricing was reasonable... not really cheap, but completely expected for a group of 10, and there was certainly enough food. Because of the type of food they serve, everything comes in wonderful plastic containers which makes for very easy clean up and storage for leftovers. Utensils, plates, and napkins were not supplied... which in this case was perfectly fine. All in all it's most certainly a place we will order from again.

The sandwiches are upscale better than average. The box lunch comes with everything possible you will need. The cookies are amazing. I would highly recommend them for your lunch meetings.
