A typical DQ experience. The staff has always been nice, and of course the blizzards are why I go there! I did recently order and Orange Julius, but it seemed different than when I used to order them back in the day (maybe my memory is deceiving me). Anyway, no complaints about this place. It looked clean, the bathrooms were stocked and they are very quick.

If they didn't sell blended dairy crack in a cup, Dairy Queens would have the hardest time scraping by. Usually when I wait this long for a meal, it comes with a $50 price tag and a dessert menu. But I guess when your meal IS the dessert menu, you have to be willing to compromise. OK, Every Dairy Queen I've Ever Visited, I'll play your twisted game. I'll park in that little spot past the "drive-thru" window and read another chapter in my book. Or if the line is backed up, yes I will wait shivering in the freezer you call a dining room, pretending to read the menu for the ninetieth time. You've got me where you want me. You know. I know you know. Now you know that I know you know. Could you at least bring the special secret fry salt back?

Two stars because, after all, it's a Dairy Queen! Their desserts are still fine but the service at this location is BAD. They do not know how customer service works. They served me burnt toast and I saw the girl study it before she decided to go ahead and put it in our bag. They also messed up part of our order. We had gone through the drive thru so we had to get out of the car and go inside to fix the problems. There were 3 couples in line waiting to order. When I went in, I stood off to the side of the line near where people pick up their orders. The employees ignored me until everyone had ordered. When they finally asked me what I needed, I showed them the toast and said I needed to get a new slice and I needed to get the other part fixed as well. When she brought it to me I spoke softly to her so other customer wouldn't have to hear the "lecture". I told her that I worked in customer service for several years. I said, you should never make a customer wait that long to get something corrected when they had already sat in line once but had a problem with their order. She said she didn't recognize me from the drive thru. The drive thru I had just been in 2 minutes before. Also, why would I be standing in the store holding burnt toast?? I don't think very many people would take their burnt bread for a walk on a Thursday evening just for laughs. Duh!!! There is another Dairy Queen that is on Division that is just as close to my house. That is now my local Dairy Queen. I won't be back to this one until I see better service reviews posted on Yelp. READ AND LEARN 60th AND DUKE!!!!

This location SUCKS! staff lacks any life. They charge you to use a debit card under TEN. I will not return and from the look of the place nobody else has been. Sooner they close the better. Next time I go up foster.

There is something magical about this Dairy Queen. I'm reading the other reviews and guessing that plenty has changed since 2009... great service, consistently good product, and hey... it's just a few blocks away from the Jesus Light of the World Camp.

This might be the worst Dairy Queen on the planet. This has been our closest drive thru for 3 years, and we have learned 3 things: 1) They're overpriced compared to all other DQs. 2) If their Blizzards taste like Bleach the employees don't care about you our the people behind you in line. Seriously had to return ice cream the next day because it tasted like chemicals, and they didn't care. 3) They will close at a moments notice WHILE YOU ARE IN LINE AT THE DRIVE THRU with no explanation and at 9:40 on a Saturday night. Like I said; it's the worst Dairy Queen on the planet... Visit at your own peril.

This has to be the worse customer service I have ever come across. The girl at the window must HATE her job- and Boy, does it show. She talks to you like your the idiot and for some reason cant hear anything over the intercom. Repeating my order 4 times was 3 times too many. Then I get to the window- I have a BOGO coupon for medium Blizzards. Cant be that hard right? WRONG!! Window lady gets totally frustrated with the coupon and tell me that she doesn't know how to use it. My problem? NO!!! Owner comes up, says she wants to help her, gets to the window and tells me she cant take it... the coupon is for her store. Finally I get the discount get my ice cream and head home. Get home and my banana split has no ice cream on it. I call the owner, she yells at me telling me that she needs to container to give me a replacement. To make this story short- I would rather drive 10 miles to the nearest store then to go back to this one.

I love the Blizzards, and my daughter always has trouble deciding on either a cone or a Blizzard of her own. It's great having this place conveniently tucked between the Brentwood-Darlington and Woodstock neighborhoods, and I think the vast majority of its business are from people in the area. The dining area is smallish, and pretty much like every other Dairy Queen I've been to. The staff are always polite and we never have to wait long for our order. I've never been to the drive through, but it seems to be more popular than dining inside. As far as fast food places go, I've had zero complaints about this place.

I'm gonna go ahead and write this review as though I'm giving Dairy Queen no stars. No stars for a poorly laid out parking lot. No stars for standing in line for 12 minutes without it moving AT ALL. (Watching 4 people leave does not count as the line moving). No stars for 3 employees collectively working on one banana split, which takes them 5 minutes to make, which they then put in the freezer. (Where is the person who ordered this dessert?? Oh, they're not here right now? Then why don't you help THE PEOPLE IN LINE.) No stars for watching one employee casually train another employee on something entirely irrelevant to the customers currently waiting in line. No stars for waiting 15 minutes, not making any progress and eventually walking out.

If you can find another Dairy Queen or something else to get your dilly bar fix, I highly recommended you do so. This Dairy Queen never has more than 2-3 people working it. One kid runs the grill/microwave, the other kid runs back and forth between the window and the blizzard machine, and every once in a while takes an order from the counter... Even if all you want is something that comes straight out of the freezer into your hand it takes a minimum of 10 minutes... what the heck

This dairy queen is absolutely the worst!! I live nearby & have watched it continue to decline over time. Just when u think it couldn't possibly get any worse... it does & the level of ridiculousness never ceases to amaze me. It is definitely worth the extra drive to visit ANY other location than this one. The staff is extremely rude & unprofessional, while having absolutely no regard for their customers or any sense of urgency. They are extremely slow because they spend most of their time socializing. The wait times are excessive even though the food is never fresh... it's precooked & they simply pop it in the microwave. Then when the owner is there the employees are too busy getting reprimanded (in front of customers- also unprofessional) to provide any sort of decent service. 90% of the time the french fries are cold & mushy. They often mess up my orders & the worst part is they rarely fix their mistakes or even apologize! Theres only one employee that has at least half a brain, so u might be OK if the Hawaiian chick is working. However, the place is still filthy. I've gotten a blizzard that was entirely plain with literally just one lil piece of candy, probably due to the machine being dirty. They were rude when I brought it back & charged me to fix it! Today was the last straw though... I was the only customer there, yet I waited 5 min to order. I wanted one of the $5 meals (served 11-4pm) & they wouldn't give it to me they said because it was after 4. I then looked at my phone & watched it just change to 4:01. I politely informed them that I knew it was 3:56 when I pulled up to order because I had checked, yet they still refused & were completely rude about it. Their prices are high in comparison to other fast food establishments, but the quality & service are lacking by far. Next time I will go to Mike's Drive Inn, where I can receive superior quality & a much higher level of customer service- most of the time from a mentally challenged individual who is also quite charming & makes me smile.

Customer service is slow and unreliable at best. I've had to wait 30 minutes in the past to find out that though they took my money some how the order never went back. This has actually happen twice . Or they will bring your meal but forget the soda. Their employees are often rude, or to busy socializing to actually take orders. The food is ok if you can get it.

There was 1 car in front of me and no cars in the parking lot, it still took them 10 minutes to take my order in the drive through, and then 15 more minutes before I got my food (I got 1 ice cream cone)... And this is not the fist time this happened. This location is EXTRA slow.

Interesting that I came to post a complaint about this DQ and I see that others have had the EXACT same complaints about this location for the past SIX YEARS. I waited for 25 minutes (no exaggeration) at the drive-thru, and not only did they not apologize for the wait, they didn't apologize for forgetting an item from my order. The neanderthal mouthbreather at the drive thru window just stood there staring at me. This franchise location needs to get shut down.

Worst EVER! Not only do they self-proclaim they are cheap by the sign on the drive thru window stating: "please use cash for orders under $10, as credit charges are too expensive", but they also are shitty in every aspect of a business. Fucking horrible. Buy a blizzard and get half non-blended vanilla icecream, and the other half mostly vanilla icecream with a spec of the mix u asked fot. And yeah, be prepared to wait about 15-20 minutes. This has happened EVERY TIME we have gone and now we will never go back. So FUCK YOU asshole owners...you are doing it wrong!!!

Worst Dairy Queen ever... Wait time way to long... Ordered a small blizzard took 10 minutes in the drive thru...

Worst DQ ever. I live only a block away and visit this establishment about twice a month for a blizzard. Every time I've been to this one I have to repeat my order at least 3 times until the cashier finally gets it....we're talking a 2 item order. I paid with cash on one occasion and she had the hardest time even counting the change from a $10 bill. I saw another patrons ice cream be set on the counter and they were sitting around the corner, completely unaware because they were not notified it was ready. The girl that's usually at the counter always seems confused and gets the portion sizes wrong, so they have to be made again in order to fill the proper container size. My first job was at a DQ and I understand the fast food industry can be demanding at times. I would just like to get my blizzard in a timely manner and made properly....I feel like that's not too much to ask. Also, I wish this location stayed open until 10, 9:30 seems like an odd time to close and this is the first one I've seen with this closing time. On a positive note, the food and desserts usually taste pretty good.

It took 25 minutes to get 2 burgers and 2 milkshakes. No straws or napkins given. Everybody working there seems to hate it. If you want some incompetent high school girls to fuck up your food, this is the place to go.

O must say oir food was METICULOUSLY prepared and presented. The food was ecellent. Bun toasted perfectly, burger was delicious, tasty onion slice and fries were almost arranged in their container. What restricted a higher grad was a store manager that was almost barking orders to the youn staff working--like a drill sargent. It was kind of exreme micro management to be sure. The bathroom while not dirty was was not particularly clean as in the walls or not scrubbed and probably not for some time. The aiir conditioning was blasting super cold-- which was slightly less unpleasant than the manager that was insisting VERY LOUDLY that employees serve the blizzards "upside down." I have never seen a Dairy Queen as busy as the Hillsboro Dairy Queen on the Tualalitin Valley Highway. They have extremely congenial and fast service by young people that do an excellent job. While I am almost sorry, I really felt as if the store manager thought that the dining experience was more about her than the customers in the store.

Shittiest excuse for a chicken sandwich. Slow service. I'm pretty sure the ranch was expired cuz it tasted bitter. Sucks to suck. Employees were super friendly tho
