I went there to this location near Washington square for dinner and wasn't quite busy as other times for Saturday night. I have been to this location 3-4 times already. I ordered a chicken burrito and bit down on a piece of burnt wood or burnt something? Seems like their grilled veggies are always grilled until they are burnt. Yuck. I love Chipotle but this location seems to burn the veggies and meat consistently.

this is my everyday fav!! this is our version of eating fast food. everything is fresh, the place is always clean, the people are always nice & have a smile. what more could you ask for....oh, taste...well, they got that too!!! i told my mom i was taking her to fast mexican food & she was extremely skidish (she never tries new things) & was quite resistant when i told her they don't have fajitas. now it is her fav place too!! she lives at the coast (they don't have chipotle there) & everytime she comes to town we go eat there! in fact if i'm in the area & have 20 min to spare...i eat there! the only bad thing is they don't have a changing table in either bathroom....but honestly i'm not there long enough to worry about it. great food! great price! great staff! YUM!

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to eat! It's clean, fresh and everyone is always friendly..not to mention it is very reasonably priced. YUMMY!

What's not to love? Still the best chain burrito around in my book. I have been going to Chipotle for 15 years and have never had a bad meal yet. The kid options make this a favorite for my 2 year old as well...got to start them young.

I've been to this location plenty of times and occasionally they have wonderful employees that make the whole experience fun and do great at getting you exactly what you want. Even if they did something wrong you can't be upset cause they're just such friendly people. Most of the time however, employees just don't seem to care at all. They don't listen, they are incredibly slow, and and they're so bad at portions that it makes what normally tastes so good, taste disgusting. I order the same thing every time. Extra white rice, they give me what would be considered below average amount. I ask for only a little of mild salsa and sour cream. My burrito is drowning in a mooshy tomato and sour cream soup. It's completely inedible. This is the last time I waste money on food here that I can't eat because of how awful it tastes. I'll be going out of my way to visit the Cedar Hills location from now on, even though this location is closest to where I live. Cedar Hills is doing it right, don't waste your money here.

Ordered online, usually it's fine. Just got back from a terrible experience. Today I ordered online for a 12:15 pickup time. I got there at 12:13 and got my burrito at 12:45. Everyone else waiting for online pick ups got their burrito on average 30 minutes after waiting, I saw a woman leave. Would have been faster to just wait in line. I get that things can bottleneck, so it's understandable. However the way I got the burrito back from the gentlemen who I assume was the manager was just terrible. No apology, no nothing, not even an acknowledgment to the fact that he was 30 minutes late to deliver something I had already paid for. I would have left 15 minutes prior had I not already paid for it. Usually there are 2 women there and they're always polite, acknowledge your existence and deliver. This dude, in a gray t shirt, was the worst. Oh yeah, 1 star because he also messed up the burrito, he forgot to add any sauce... you know how bland a burrito is with no sauce when you're used to it with sauce? Ugh.

Jeez I have been to quite a few Chipotles, but this place was so filthy. Every table at 3pm looked like 3 year olds had been eating at every table. Meanwhile there was an employee meeting going on at a table talking about customer service. Fuck start with cleaning, sweeping and emptying the trash that was overflowing! That's just so basic. Food was so ill prepared sticky tortillas and over flowing with sour cream. Yuck

    (1)
  • Donna S.

The food was consistent Chipotle, pretty good. What I could not believe was the filthy state of the dining floor. Virtually every table had food debris on it while the garbage cans were overflowing. Finally settling for the one "almost-clean" table, we sat down for our meal. The entire time, almost 30 mins, we saw two clearly identifiable employees sitting and talking at length while completely ignoring the dirty tables. The staff behind the counter had their hands full with incoming customers. Whoever these two individuals were, they obviously could not be bothered addressing the filthy conditions we were subject to as we ate. Truly disgusting.

  • P L.

I went at 9 o'clock on a Friday night for a Burrito. Almost every table was filthy. I found the one clean table, and proceeded to eat while watching a couple of clueless employees talking to each other at another table. Look like maybe it was a job interview or evaluation or something. In any case they could not have given less of a crap about how bad the tables were. Everybody noticed. Everybody was disgusted. The one trashcan was completely overflowing. People were trying to prop up the garbage on top of that to keep it from falling on the floor. Won't stop me from going to Chipotle again. But it might stop me from going to this particular branch of the enterprise.

I had to post this update because I gave this location another try and it was awesome! Super good service. Portions were perfect and the line was long, but moved steady. All around good experience!

Always great service, enjoy chipotle a lot! It does get a bit hectic and slow around dinner but that is to be expected. Only negative is how expensive guacamole is getting, especially when I just find huge clumps of avocado in it. I feel like its a better value to bring your own avocado.

Super super slow workers... Go sit some where and enjoy your meal instead of waiting in line for 30 minutes! Seriously!

I see a lot of neg reviews about this place but I've been going to this location since they opened and I've never experienced a bad meal or bad service. It would be nice though if the employees stayed working there for any length of time. I usually know people at all the restaurants I frequent, but here I've never seen the same person twice. They seem to be well trained though. Service is always quick no matter how long the line. I don't care much for the decor, and the chairs are horribly uncomfortable.

    (4)
  • Kelshme A.

This location is by far the slowest service I've ever experienced at any chipotle. I've been here several times. There's is always a long line because the service is SO slow. Have moved 10 feet in this line in the last 15 minutes. Don't have a burrito in hand and out the door for at least 30 and this has happened on multiple occasions at this location

    (1)

Chipotle is definitely a good tasting restaurant although we have had a little bit of issues here in the past not too bad. This is a good alternative any night and it's definitely a hot spot for teenagers

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice shame on you. Food is good, if you have 30 minutes to wait in line. I kid you not. Slowest Chipotle I have ever been to. This place used to be my go to for food. After each of the last two visits taking a half hour to get through the line, that will be my last until they get things figured out.

I unfortunately go to this Chipotle on a regular basis. I work just across the street so if I want Chipotle on a lunch break and have time to eat it it must go to this one. There was a point in time that I would have rated them 3-4 stars but in the past 2 months or so I feel as though it has just plummeted. Overall review: customer service is no longer fun and happy, service is slow when busy and even slower when not busy. My recent rant and reason for review: Today I ordered a burrito over the phone, a super simple one with just white rice, black beans, chicken, and additional cheese. I said I was just across the street and would be right over. Employee (whose name I will keep to myself) said he would get them started on it right away. When I got there 15min later they hadn't even started it! When I arrived there was maybe 3 people in line to order, but I went straight to the counter. By the time the clerk acknowledged me and realized no one had even started my order yet, I needed to get in the actual line and wait for about 5 more new orders. All in all trying to save time caused me to wait longer and finally add a poor rating review.

Every time I come to this location I'm always so disappointed and frustrated with how slow the service is. This location really needs to focus on their service to accommodate their huge lines.

Clearly the issue is the staffing at this location. Chipotle is a yummy company, but this location seems to miss the mark in the customer service area. Like other reviews, they run out of meats too often. They were out of chicken when we came it. Had to wait for more to be cooked. (At least it was hot and fresh!)

    (3)
  • Rachel R.

Dry tortilla, bland chicken. Tasted like I was eating dry beans. There was one person: taking orders, making food, and cashing out with a long line of customers. Really disappointed to pay $13 for a burrito that tasted like beans. Won't go here again.

Pure and simple - they rock. The food is great / fast. Service is efficient and friendly. Check out the dude cutting the chcken in the prep area- he's unbelievable to watch! Super hard worker! Respect to you, man. Family favorite... 1x per week for sure, and we all love it. See you next week, and keep up the great job!

Reviewing corporate chains just seems so pointless....can't help myself though. This isn't about the chain, it's about a location to be avoided....like the plague. Yuck. This Chipotle on Hall is literally the WORST thing that ever was. It's clearly the poor management. I've even called in and spoke with the incredulous manager running this joint. I was hoping to shed light on the craziness that abounds, but after speaking with him, it makes perfect sense as to why this place is such a hot mess. After waiting in their insufferable line, for what felt like an eternity, they had run out of BOWLS for salads and burrito bowls. Seriously though, how do you run out of bowls?! Novel ideas...post a sign on the door telling folks. This way they won't find out when they've finally made their way to the front of the line, ravenously hungry, and ready to punch you in the face. Or I don't know....just stock accordingly? These sort of rookie mistakes are common place here...and it's always something weird like running out of bowls, or beans, or who knows what else. So all of the other Chipotle locations around town are busy as well, but their lines move, and their employees are actually present and working. I could write a book detailing all of the absurdities I've experienced here over the last couple years, but no one reads reviews about chains anyway. Save yourself the time and stress. Get back into your car and head back to your zen like abode and make yourself a damn burrito bowl. Because you are an adult and have dishes to eat from. End rant.

Took a chance and came to this Chipotle for dinner Sunday night. Since my original review I went there twice; once they were out of fajitas and the other time the Coke machines were out of order. I was thinking that they should post a sign outside the door saying "This is what we're out of today." Well, believe it or not, I got in line and the person ahead of me said, "If you don't want chicken go to the head of the line. They're out and it will take some time to cook up more." I waited a while then a woman came in behind me and I relayed the message to her. She said she talked to friends in other cities that go to Chipotle and whip through the line to get their meals without a hitch. I left and went down the street to Jimmy Johns. I am posting this in the futile hope that someone from Chipotle will actually read this and make some changes here. It doesn't do Chipotle any good talking about their philosophy of food and mantra of sustainability when their operations and service stinks.

Chipotle....I have never really liked you and I rarely visit you....yesterday sealed the deal for as to why. Typically it's because the food is only mediocre for what you pay for and honestly have yet to have a decent experience. Upon entering they weren't terribly busy. I wait. I place my order but then they run out of chicken. No biggie. Gal says it's on the grill and should be right up in a minute. I was kind of in a rush (which is why I vouched for Chipotle in the first place) but a minute shouldn't hold me up. But then I wait...and wait...seriously over 5 minutes pass and still no chicken. Line is getting longer. Other's are waiting for chicken. One poor guy who was allergic to something they accidentally put on his meal had to get it re-done....another lady was waiting for food to be re-done as well. WTH? I'm a very understanding and patient person but you could tell the staff was cranky and stressed. The gal serving up food was literally slopping the ingredients into the bowl and seemed to be hating life. I asked for no sour cream or cheese....but got it. Asked for hot red sauce...got pico de gallo. Whatever....good thing I'm not allergic because these people clearly do not listen well or are trying to work too fast to be correct. No wonder a couple people had issues with their food! Because I had been waiting so long I didn't have time to complain. I just wanted to get out of there. Almost $17 for two chicken/rice bowls....ridiculous. It was nearly $2 extra to receive a small plop of guacamole on my meal. Definitely not worth it. I will not be returning. The service was awful.

Mmm Good! I was doing some retail therapy after work last week. Shopping is a lot of work. I was famished. Luckily Chipotle was willing to help me out. Actually they were taunting me!!!! Beguiling me in. LOL I've never made it into this location after 5 on a week night. They were hoppin'! Lots of little families getting their Chipotle on. The line went quite smoothly. I ordered my Usual. Carnitas Burrito !!!! mmmmmm . I'll Say it again. Mmmmmmmmm. I splurged and got a bag of chips and a large Ice Tea, as well. Their chips are so much better than most any Mexican place I've been too. The ice tea was perfect too. I hate it when it has that rancid taste like it's been sitting for days. Chipotle's Ice Tea tasted fresh and yummy!!! I want to eat here every day!

It's true what everyone says about them giving weak portions at this location, I've been here many times and yet I have to ask for more rice every single time. Whether it be a bowl or a burrito, you will get skimped pretty hard. Other than the lame portioning the food is what you'd expect it to be, never had any problem with anything else.

    (1)
  • Marla S.

Bring on the barbacoa! The burrito is always my go-to item, always delicious. I've only been to this location a few times, but the burritos always seem to bigger, which is a plus in my book! Although the last time this over-stuffing resulted in my first torn wrap...they offered a new one, but really, I'm going to tear into it anyway, so not a big problem. Small outdoor seating area (parking lot view!) which is nice enough when it's warm. Dig it.

I visited this Chipotle Restaurant on January 19th around 5 p.m.. I got my usual order of chicken tacos and guacamole and chips. Everyone on the staff was very nice and they made my food exactly how I like it. Nathan and Connor were particularly nice and helpful to me. I live on the Oregon coast now and always get Chipotle on my way home because there isn't one on the coast. They always package my food very nicely for the long trip home. I used to live in the area and I have been going to this location for about 5 years and I have never had a bad experience or bad food. I will go out of my way to go to this particular location because I have always been treated very well. Obviously the manager is a good leader and inspires his team to excel at customer service I believe the manager is Nathan and he has always been very polite and welcoming to me. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you for the good service!

I love Chipotle but I REALLY hate this location. Which sucks cause its close. Their serving sizes here are the smallest I've ever seen! Seriously like 3/4 a scoop of rice? Rice is cheap! And I'm paying almost $7 for this! Even the burritos here seem smaller then any other location I've ever seen. The employees here also seem worse then other locations. They were out of steak the other day and that is what I had ordered. Instead of letting the people behind me that ordered nothing with steak proceed down the line, they held up the entire line! So for amount 5 minutes the line did not move and ended up to the door just because they couldn't figure out to let people not ordering steak to proceed. They also have a cashier that twice I've had to repeat my order too several times as she seems to space out/day dream while doing her job. I really wish their was a closer Chiptole then this, but sadly there is not :(

Probably some of the worst service I've had in a while, they over stuffed my burrito and made absolutely no attempt to fix it when I asked. Will not be giving this location my business at all from now on.

1 star to this location. I've had food poisoning twice in my life and both times were from this location. it has turned me off from eating chiptole since, good thing every other person on the planet is obsessed because I'd choose Taco Bell over the hall chiptole.

Long waits at this location. Even now at 13:20. Burrito bowl portions are dis-similar. Came with my gal - both ordered chicken bowls and my portion was way less than a spoon full and hers was noticeably much much larger. Looks like it's under new management/crew as being reported here lately (June/July/Aug 2013). They were using a wet cleaning rag on the counter while food was moving down the line. I noticed that the corner of the nasty rag was getting into peoples food now and again from the persons harried pace of trying to keep the area clean. The Chipotle in Lake Oswego is the store this establishment needs to model itself after. This store is an avoid at all costs now....

I gotta say it, I love Chipotle. It's that step above fast food that makes me feel less bad about eating it. Since it seems to be popular here, I gotta say that my order is a chicken burrito, brown rice, black beans, grilled veggies, corn, sour cream, cheese, lettuce and guac. No salsa, but plenty of the smoked tabasco (regular tabasco is just gross). I will say I feel Chipotle should have other options for hot sauce than tabasco, but that is because I am a hot sauce fanatic. Occasionally, I will mix it up at get a bowl or salad, but the burrito is pretty much my calling. Sometimes, no meat. I also think it's ridiculous that they charge $1.80 for guacamole - but of note, if you get an item with no meat, they are not to charge you for guacamole. Also of note for vegetarians, their pinto beans are made with bacon. I'm a fan of this location because their service is always quick, and friendly, and their portions generous. I wouldn't call it authentic Mexican by any means - when I first started going to Chipotle several years ago, I often referred to it as a Mexican-style subway. I'm pretty much a big fan of any place that has "build your own" options, and I love really any Mexican-inspired food. Be warned during lunch hour on the weekdays, the traffic ebbs and flows, both in the parking lot (which I find a little cramped) and on in the inside - if you're planning to eat there definitely have a back-up location to eat as there have been a couple times where indoor seating is not available (and we all know outdoor seating is super contingent on weather patterns).

I love tacos and chips and salsa. So, this place was a natural. I love the stainless steel theme. The I Phone App is great so that you can order prior to arriving and then go to the register and pick up your food. The choices of salsas are great. I did find by looking at the calorie counter online that, the food is not without quite a few calories per item. Be careful and spend your calories wisely. I'll check in here again. Always tasty.

We've been going to this Chipotle for about six years. I have no problem with the food and the chain itself. When we started going here, the service was great. The management was welcoming, the staff were accommodating, and we always got what we ordered. As regular customers, the managers would give us special treatment and make us feel especially welcome. In the past few years, the service has gotten continually worse. The servers do not listen and they often make mistakes which must then be corrected. They are not apologetic for making errors. In addition, these frequent errors hold up the line for everyone else. I believe the problem is poor management as this problem does not seem to be limited to specific employees. After six years, we've given up and will stop going to this location. I hope that they get the message before everyone else does the same.

I gotta say that I've never had anything bad from Chipotle, and I've had everything on the menu except the veggie burrito! I'm reviewing this location because I live closest to it. IMO, Chipotle is hands-down the best "fast-food" there is, the freshness of everything there never leaves me disappointed. I'm partial to the carnitas burrito with rice, black beans, tomatoes, medium salsa, corn, extra cheese & sour cream. I freaking love Chipotle. Thats it, as good as it gets. I'm completely addicted to it, but I can't quite get my wife hooked because even the fresh tomatoes (pico de gallo) is a little bit spicy for her, she does like the flavors but is new to Mexican food so she's only went for the tacos so far, hasn't attempted a burrito, I'm sure she will come around though, recently she's getting hooked on my homemade burritos! Thank you Chipotle, you are the best ever!

I don't think the food is 5 stars, but I love the philosophy behind Chipotle, so I'm giving them 5 starts for that, and for the service. Employees were super helpful as we'd never been to a Chipotle before. Friendly and patient. Food is 3-4 stars. Fresh, fine, very plain, not a whole lot of flavor...

I would be doing a disservice to my weekends if I didn't write a review of my #1 top favorite restaurant of all time, Chipotle. Sure I love Piazza Italia. Okay, Tasty n Sons is a definite win. However, where do I go when my stomach is hungry and craving some cilantro-laden protein and carbs all rolled into one salty and crispy bite? My car practically drives itself to Chipotle. Let's just say that recurring gifts each year have been cards to Chipotle and Starbucks, and I used them more quickly than I would like. I used to be a white-rice-chicken-black-beans-with-medium-salsa-lettuce-and-cheese burrito bowl girl; however, with their recent addition of brown rice and my newfound discovery of the hot sauce, I decided to uber-healthify my bowls and get brown rice, chicken, lettuce, black beans and hot sauce and it is just SO SATISFYING. If I'm living on the wild side I'll get a bag of chips and forego the fork altogether. I can't help it; Chipotle has my heart and it probably always will. I don't care which location you visit (except the one near UW in Seattle-- that one is gross and dirty)-- they all have my 5 star vote.

I've never had a bad experience at this or any other Chipotle. The barbacoa is the most amazing meat ever! Not exactly authentic Mexican food which my Mexican girlfriend always complains about, but she does eat it and does very much like it. One of my favorites!!

  • Lou M.

There is not a thing that I do not like about Chipotle. Their food is always fresh and delicious no matter which one I go to. Every once in a while there is a long line, but it is very well worth it. They cater to just about everyone's needs. From low-carb eaters to Vegetarian eaters. There is something for all of us!

  • Mari T.

I hate giving 2 stars to Chipotle, but the description of 2 stars is very fitting: "Meh. I've experienced better." The food was fine and tasted as I have come to expect from them, but the assembly is why this is only 2 stars. I ordered the barbacoa crunchy tacos and the meat distribution was fine, but the salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce was a disaster. Only 2 of the 3 tacos has sour cream and salsa INSIDE the shell. The third taco had those items splashed on the outside. Lettuce and cheese only made it into 1 of the shells, the rest was scattered between the shells. When I picked up my first taco to eat it, the bottom of my paper-lined basket was filled with the juice from the barbacoa so the bottoms of my tacos were starting to fall apart by the time I got to the second one. All in all, my experience at this particular Chipotle was disappointing -- If I come back to this one, I'll just stick with the burrito bowls instead, I guess.

Edit: they seem to have improved their hiring practices in the last couple months, quality and service is much better! Added one star. This location of Chipotle does not have the best service. I think the management needs to work on their hiring practices, because they don't seem to keep the same people around. We've gone to this location many times and never have the same person serve us, and they always seem to struggle with the processes. Something always goes wrong with the order. Also the food doesn't seem as fresh as the other locations. I really prefer the Tanasbourne location but we live closer to the Hall blvd one. I do love the restaurant itself and the food is good if it's fresh.

The review that Nicole wrote on this place is all so true. I also use to drop in at least once a week and had been a regular since this location opened. The Service was great and the food was always the way you wanted and everyone had a smile and it was the best Chipotle around. Since the Manager went to the Pearl this location has not been very good. I go in now maybe once a month and can not understand why they don't get the customer service thing like they once did. Nicole said it when she said: It's never a smooth transaction as something always appears to get messed up... They need to find out what's wrong.

Usually delcious. A few times, however, the rice tasted old. The customer service is always pretty good, and the store is obviously kept clean. This is the only location, however, the the food isn't consistently good. The guac has been brownish more than a few times.

When I go someplace new to eat I'm always looking at the cleanliness of the place and the customer service. I found both going to this Chipolte's. Great customer service and was even rewarded with free guacamole since we were first time customers!

If you know this chain, you'll find this to be a perfectly average Chipotle, in the sense that the food is always awesome, the decor is cool and interesting, the music is modern and groovy, the employees are friendly and will make your food any way you want it, the guacamole is to die for, the margaritas are terrific and the soda cups are fun to read. Yeah, a pretty average Chipotle.

  • Joseph H.

I've had great service and good food everytime I've been here. Part of their star rating is their commitment to good wholesome food. Their food doesn't explicitly say it anymore, but ALL the meats are raised without antibiotics and a few of them are organic. That means that even the Barbacoa isn't complete feed lot meat. If you do some research into their distribution they care about the product that they're serving. They even sold and promoted a copy of Food Inc. at this location which encouraged me to watch it, thus further educating my eating habits. Even though they serve coke products they've got plenty of lemon for your water and natural beverages if you want to avoid corn syrup and aspartame. For fast food, this is as healthy as it gets. Oh what? The calories? Yes that's right, if you google Chipotle Burrito Calculator, that giant Burrito is fairly high in calories. You know the one that's sooo good with all the sour cream and cheese? Mmm. Guess what, maybe you should split that Burrito, because the portion size is a little out of control. In fact that's what my wife and I do every time we get the tortilla. My favorite dish is a Salad Bowl (they cook the rice in a skillet with butter), little black bean, fajita peppers and onions, Chicken, Tomatos, Green Salsa(lots of it in place of salad dressing)... if you stop there it's low in fat and under 400 calories for the whole thing with about 40 grams of protein. A lot of times I add Guacamole which pushes it over 500 cals, and I always pass on the salad dressing. The thing about Guac is its "good fat" and digests extremely well when it's made from real avacados like it's done here. FInally I dowse it in Tobasco and have created a rather addictive meal for myself. There's no other fast food chain I can think of that's serving this level of quality ingredient and really strives to be healthy. I feel safe and wholesome after eating my salad bowl.

I've been going to this particular Chipotle for over 4 years, and the staff here are always exceptionally polite, cheerful, and helpful. There's lots of parking and a small patio if you want to eat outside.

Quick service always but perhaps they should slow down. I ordered on my chipotle app and they forgot the chicken which I paid for. I got it all the way back to work and was kinda bummed. I was also given the wrong receipt. They did make it right by hooking it up with a free salad on my next visit (even though their accommodation list consisted of a messy little notebook that the cashier had to flip through for a good two minutes before she couldn't find my info). On a separate visit, a different cashier hit me in the face with a bag of chips. I keep going back because I love the salads they serve. It's just unfortunate that they can't get it together a little more.

I'm back at the slowest restaurant in Beaverton. This time there is only 5 people in line. Which now matches the number of workers!!! And I am still just standing here with the line not moving. Why do I come here??? The food is good... SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!

I haven't had Chipotle in YEARS, as I've been living out of state and there was never a Chipotle near by. I remember loving this place, and as my wife and I went back to check it out the other night, it was another good experience overall. Here's what Chipotle does RIGHT: * Food quality. They prepare most everything in house, and use the freshest food possible. The seek to utilize non-GMO products from local producers as much as possible. They are also said to be one of the most transparent companies in the food industry. * Atmosphere and service. The Chipotle culture has a strong emphasis on great customer service and a friendly and accepting atmosphere * The corn salsa! Need I say more? * The cilantro lime rice! Here's what keeps it from 5 stars: (This may sound picky and petty, but they are things to consider) * My wife was not the most impressed with her veggie burrito. It seemed to be pretty skimpy on the veggies...probably just a fluke this time, but it happened. * The tortillas are ok, but nothing special. If you are familiar with Cafe Rio or Muchas Gracias, those places would be a 5 star tortilla in my book, and Chipotle's comes to about a 3. The tortilla was a bit chewy, and I prefer one that tastes more fresh, is soft, and...well...not as chewy.

I used to be a regular here. Today was the last straw. First off, it was 3pm on a Saturday, not the crazy lunch hour of the work week. There was a full line of staff, and a minimal line but it still took 40 minutes to get out of there. Part of this might be because the cashier was MIA, it took some poor soul on their lunch break to tell the kids working there to call a cashier up from the back. The place was filthy. There was garbage sitting in the lemon bin, the floors were filthy, food was . Last week I ordered a burrito on line with guacamole, paid for it, and when I got to my meeting there was no guacamole. I've had problems in the past with online orders being slow, that's no big deal, but everything is adding up to a miss.

I do love me some Chipotle. Great spot for me as its near my office. Typically I use the app on the phone to place my order, but today I had a group order so I just went down to the restaurant. They got everything taken care of quickly. While I like this location, the online orders typically get backed up. Plus the floor actually looks pretty dirty today. Not my favorite of the Chipotle locations, but good for a quick food grab.

    (3)
  • Lee S.

This location is the worst store that I have ever been in. Not only are the floors and tables dirty. The service has to be an all time low for this chain. The area manager should try ordering on line and find out that you have a 45 min wait to pick up your food... Really 45 min for some that takes less than two min to prepare. Then the manager can look around and see how filthy this location is. But don't expect them to start on your order, you will be told that you have to wait for the fun 45 min to get your order. Seriously is this what customer service is about? Although this location is blocks from my house I will now have to drive to the next closest location because I refuse to give them one more cent of my money. Great job guys. Way to take care your neighbor.

This was our first time eating at a Chipotle. We were not impressed at all. We ordered steak burritos but the steak was full of tendons and the meat itself was tough and hard to chew. We ate our burritos in the dining room which was filthy and uncomfortable with a long line of people waiting to order just standing there staring at us. I'm not sure what all the hype about Chipotle is, what I do know is we spent over 40 bucks on mediocre burritos. Such a bummer. I don't want to sound like a total debbie downer so the ice tea was good and the people making the food were very nice.

  • Jenn C.

Totally bummed. Whole family is vegetarian, not only for ethical reasons but also it is against our religion to eat meat. We were SO happy when Chipotle started serving Sofritas! We LOVE the messages they put out about sustainability, NON factory farming, etc... We go to this location and the Cedar Hills one. I agree with other commentors that the staff here is more "bratty". I like the Cedar Hills one better but my husband will go by this one and pick up dinner after work. Tonight we found CHICKEN in two of our 4 items. I'm so dissapoined that we will never be able to trust any Chipotle again because this can not happen for us. We can't have meat in our food, even if we pick it out. Just can't have it. So we learned a valuable lesson tonight. We can't eat anywhere if the entire menu isn't veg. I'm giving 2 stars because they did give me a full refund after I returned all the items. Will miss you Chipotle!

  • Paul R.

Love me some Chipotle but this is the worst location I've been too. Unfortunately for me it's the closest so I've given it too many chances. There is ALWAYS a line typically to the door. No matter if it's 3 in the afternoon or 9 at night. They are VERY slow and not the friendliest. I've left the last 2 times because of the lines so don't plan on going again. The BEST location is the Lloyd one off Weidler. Great service, super fast, even though it's always busy.

    (2)
  • Jennifer T.

Vegetarian and vegan warning: There was chicken in the advertised as "vegan" sofritos- I pointed this out to the counter worker and she picked out the larger pieces, said "sorry ma'am" and asked if I was allergic. When I explained that I was vegetarian she said, "sorry, I got it out". They really do not take dietary restrictions seriously unless they might be sued, I guess.

  • Michael G.

This one gets abused. It's busy every hour of every day. I have tried it several times and sometimes I can't get a parking spot. With that said they are pretty fast at getting you thru the line. Found is always great.

  • Brad G.

This place continues to get slower and slower....it's really not worth it. Chipotle started out well but service has gone down hill.

    (1)
  • Chris O.

They worked fast and accommodated all my little special requests like extra cilantro and limes which are not on the line normally. The ice tea was fresh and they were not too crowded, but it was 2:30 so maybe they get busy earlier, somehow I doubt it as the location is odd, but it's close to our house so when I just want a good burrito or salad bowl to go vs a more authentic Mexican experience this will do just fine. Plus i like that they source good quality meat and veg, especially the pork which is very well treated before us meat eating jerks kill it off.

    (4)
  • Steve W.

How do they stay in business? Long lines in CA and AZ Chipotles are handled quickly and efficiently. Here they just get longer. At 11:40 it took me 15 minutes to get my salad. That's silly. Sure things get busy but this is the first Chipotle I've visited that is so easily overwhelmed by a large order and especially by fax orders. Get it together guys: your food is great but not so much the service

    (3)
  • Steve R.

Disappointing. We used to go to this location because it was closer than the Cedar Hills store and almost always less busy. After a few visits eliminating (for us) the possibility of a fluke poor experience, we're willing to travel a little further if we plan on going to Chipotle at all. Each time, service was much slower, preparation was sloppy, and portions were noticeably inconsistent in comparison to the other location. During the last visit, the person who I guess was the manager started and sustained an embarrassing and petty argument with another person on the serving line. It's no wonder that the Cedar Hills location is so much busier-- its so much more of what I would expect from Chipotle. I hope the Hall location improves. A year or so ago, it was a much better place.

    (1)
  • Ken J.

Always so much better for me to have that hold the rice. It would be far better if they added the cilantro separately. Sometimes there. Us way way too much for me. And the shear size of the burrito is truly daunting. They make up for the lack of rice by adding double beans. I have to remember to ask them not to do that so I end up with a manageable size. I love the black bean, carnitas, green sauce, sour cream and guacamole. Mmmmmm! And this time there was enough green to be nice and hot! Only four stars for the super slow line. And I do mean slow! It was nice not being rushed while next in line but while in the back of the line, it sucked. They are always happy, friendly and willing to help or answer questions at this store and I like that!

    (4)
  • Anthony K.

Super friendly staff... I went in here the other night and ordered two bowls and a burrito. They were extremely nice and asked me if it was enough when they put the sauces on it and added cilantro. Great customer service. Chipotle is Chipotle. We are gonna go here because the food is already great but I'd go out of my way to go to this location.

    (4)
  • Frances H.

Usually delcious. A few times, however, the rice tasted old. The customer service is always pretty good, and the store is obviously kept clean. This is the only location, however, the the food isn't consistently good. The guac has been brownish more than a few times.

    (3)
  • John N.

When I go someplace new to eat I'm always looking at the cleanliness of the place and the customer service. I found both going to this Chipolte's. Great customer service and was even rewarded with free guacamole since we were first time customers!

Dig it.

this is my everyday fav!! this is our version of eating fast food. everything is fresh, the place is always clean, the people are always nice & have a smile. what more could you ask for....oh, taste...well, they got that too!!! i told my mom i was taking her to fast mexican food & she was extremely skidish (she never tries new things) & was quite resistant when i told her they don't have fajitas. now it is her fav place too!! she lives at the coast (they don't have chipotle there) & everytime she comes to town we go eat there! in fact if i'm in the area & have 20 min to spare...i eat there! the only bad thing is they don't have a changing table in either bathroom....but honestly i'm not there long enough to worry about it. great food! great price! great staff! YUM!

Always great service, enjoy chipotle a lot! It does get a bit hectic and slow around dinner but that is to be expected. Only negative is how expensive guacamole is getting, especially when I just find huge clumps of avocado in it. I feel like its a better value to bring your own avocado.

  • Hannah K.

    (1)

Supper busy I understand But they rush u and rush u !!!! I mean I like to order without some body running after me .

Dry tortilla, bland chicken. Tasted like I was eating dry beans. There was one person: taking orders, making food, and cashing out with a long line of customers. Really disappointed to pay $13 for a burrito that tasted like beans. Won't go here again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
