High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Love having a b-vile in airport! Been twice great staff and food.

Super friendly service, and prompt too. Plenty of seating in the terminal, and they will bring your order to your table. The food is tasty fast food, with local flair like Tillamook cheddar cheese. Breakfast served until 11am. Since I have some time before my flight I may come back for lunch!

Should have known better than to order fish n chips in Burgerville, but the photo on the menu looked enticing and the thought of a burger bomb in my belly before flying all night just didn't seem wise. However this is some of the worst food ever served! Folks are nice, ordering cumbersome as others have mentioned. But halibut is actually cardboard and the fries were cooked in nasty oil! Sorry but could not recommend based on my experience.

Basic fast food joint, burgers, fries and shakes. Had the double cheeseburger $6.29, tasted like a Wendy's burger, nothing special. Food took 8 mins to be brought out to me and meat was lukewarm, but served with a smile. Compare that to 1 min service at McDonalds. Again nothing special here, mediocre food and service.

I love the food at Burgerville but at this location the customer service is pretty bad. To order your meal you tell someone walking around with a tablet device. The person who took my order forgot to give me an airport employee discount and had to start over. Then she forgot to take my name. To get your order they call out your name. I had to go back and tell her. Last but not least I ordered and paid for a double cheeseburger. When I got my order and sat down to eat it was a single cheeseburger. I had to leave the table, hope no one snagged it while I was up and had to wait for my real order. I have to give kudos to the guy that made things right. That's why there's 3 stars instead of 2. I'll not use this location again and stick with some of the other on airport places.

Great place to grab a burger at PDX! super friendly staff, and the price is very reasonable... My gf and I ate for less than 20 bucks, and we both got a burger and fries. Great bite to eat in a nice airport before a flight. Definitely check em out if you're flying out of concourse D.

Sorry because service was good and I liked the look of the place but the burger was at Burger King level. Maybe I just expected too much for some reason, work on it!

Cold burger... Yuk! There's no excuse for this. The place was dead. Only one order other than mine. Employees were super friendly, though. We're here on Wed. 5/20 at 1:30

Thank you so much for your amazing service. I called to ask if they could deliver lunch to my boyfriend when his plane landed. The wonderful woman on the phone said "of course". The manager brought the meal to my boyfriend's gate and was there to greet him when he arrived. He was so happy and surprised. I just fell in love with Burgerville all over again. A million thank you's!!!

OK, strange irony here, but the only place to get a vegan breakfast at PDX is this burger place (Bob's Oatmeal - pretty good actually). Vegetarians can get the breakfast sandwiches substituted with the bean burger, which is pretty excellent in its own right.

great bite at pcx! burger was juicy and well season. gluten free burger bun was a plus! staff were very friendly and efficient!

I am so happy that this location is open now! Their signature shakes and smoothies (currently strawberry) are without peer... Some new touches that you won't find in other Burgervilles... A grab and go section (it is in an airport after all), taking orders on a a portable tablet and the tablet wielding girl can swipe your credit card and can also take cash and give change from one of those belt worn dispensers.. Have not seen one of those in a long time.. Also looks like they are preparing to offer fresh salads or similar

Really glad they finally installed a Burgerville in the airport, especially since I didn't have time to visit one before heading back home. This is my favorite fast food in the country, and it's super delicious, but it's sad that the airport prices are higher than their already somewhat high fast food prices. Still worth it, though, and make sure you know what the seasonal beverage offerings are!

Nice to see a northwest only company in pdx. They even serve breakfast. Nicely done! George Popstra started something great in fast food and it continues today. I know fast food is not the greatest choice. But burgerville uses local ingredients and tries to make it better.

I was intrigued by the blackberry milkshake. They prominently display a poster stating that it's berry season so I ordered it. Delicious!!! I didn't have anything else, but it looked very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Great vegetarian burger! Especially for airport food. Dude who took my order was super amazing. I should have gotten his name. He's really funny. I can tell he works hard to help people with coffee deprived / travel brain to get food and caffeine into their sad little systems. Everyone else was nice too.

A Portland institution serving fresh food. It's a burger so it's really only fair to compare it to other fast food restaurants. For me it compares quite favorably. If you've never been the best comparison is this - what if Burger King used fresh, never frozen beef, locally grown veggies and Tillamook cheese? It'd taste a little better and feel slightly healthier. The same can be said for the fries and shakes, fresh and locally sourced. Some shakes, like blackberry, are only available when local fruits are in season.

Booking award tickets on Delta yields interesting results. For a recent trip to MN I checked availability flying out of PDX and SEA. PDX required a ton more miles than SEA, so I booked myself in and out of SEA. The interesting part is that to get back to Washington I was routed through PDX....ugh! With a 3 hour layover you need to grab something to eat so I headed over to Burgerville and ordered a Tillamook cheeseburger combo. I was not offered a chance to customize the toppings when I ordered so I was a bit ticked off to hear the other ordertaker asking another customer what toppings they wanted. After a bit of a wait my order comes out and I dive into the burger. Swimming in mayo, which is what I would have chosen not to have on my burger. The burger itself is on the dry side so I can see why they opted to go heavy on the mayo. A bit less time on the flat top would have left the burger less dry. In spite of the time on the flat top the cheese was not melted but at least it was a sign that it was real cheese not that flammable murrican cheez crap. The fries were fine but I would have liked to have gotten more than three small packets of catsup. At least they gave me a butt load of napkins to help absorb some of the oil. Burgerville was an ok meal while at the airport but not one I would rush back to have again.

Workers were really friendly, food was fast and good and I grabbed breakfast burger and cider for under 8 bucks! Way above airport food service and value!

Having 6-hours to kill in the Portland airport, Burgerville PDX was the perfect place to grab a quick burger and fries to pass the time. I'm a fiend for anything with chipotle mayo and pepper jack cheese, so I appreciated the Burgerville's excellent customer service when I made a special request for the Spicy Anasazi Bean Burger to come with a beef patty instead of a bean burger and extra chipotle mayo to dip my fries in. They didn't even flinch at my request. The fries were delicious and rival that of some of my favorite fast-causal restaurants. Hot, salty and downright delicious. My only regret, not getting one of their milkshakes to complete my "last meal before my diet started". Burgerville PDX, I'll see you next time I'm in Portland.

I went here for a quick lunch before my flight. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Airport food can be ridiculous expensive so I was glad to find this place. I grabbed the Colossal Cheeseburger, fries and a drink. The cheeseburger was good but nothing spectacular. The fries were fresh and delicious. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good quick cheap bite before their flight.

Lackluster burgers. After eating the Tillamook Cheeseburger, I actually regret eating it, and wish I hadn't. The patty was lukewarm, which never inspires confidence. There was way too much mayo; it was literally dripping with it as I ate the burger. The whole thing's just kinda giving me this heavy discomfort sitting in my stomach. Had tried Burgerville before and it wasn't good either. I thought it was just a fluke, but this suggests otherwise. The one thing I did get out of this was a finer appreciation of how difficult it actually is to cook a good burger.

Man, was I ever excited to see Burgerville at the PDX airport! I even planned on showing up early for my flight just to eat there, as Burgerville is one of the things I miss most about Oregon. I expected a slightly lesser experience beings at it is their airport location, but it was the best! They walk around with hand held POS systems and take your order while you are in line! (why the eff hasn't NY figured this out? Glorious! Burger was just as good as any I've ever had at the normal locations. In fact, better, because I haven't had one in a year and a half or so. They serve beer there too! I would be there all the time if I hung out at the Portland Airport. The employees were even nice!! WTH???!! On a side note, A couple of years ago I tried to actually fly home with a jar of Burgerville sauce and they nearly confiscated it in security. Luckily it was Christmastime, and the TSA guy finally caved and let me have it.

Fast and friendly service after 10:00pm; Really nice. I asked & they're open until midnight most nights. They happily accommodated my custom colossal burger order (lettuce wrapped, no sauce) quickly and accurately. Received a free water cup of a large 16 oz. Quite a treat before my midnight red-eye flight.

Pretty good place for "airport food!" Reasonable prices ($13 and change for a classic hamburger, colossal cheeseburger, large fries and 2 drinks!) The food was pretty good, and they give free drink refills...which was pretty awesome! All in all, I'd definitely go back if I had a PDX layover. :)

  • D. S.

Odd ordering system. It wasn't busy but it was very cumbersome. You stand and look at the menu and there is a person with an iPad to take your order and payment. Then you wait and the food is delivered to you. Worked ok, but I can't imagine if it were busy. It seems that the system wouldn't work very well. The food was probably the worst I've had at a Burgerville. My hamburger didn't taste anything like those I've had at other BV's. It was dry and fairly tasteless. I'm not very picky by any means, but it was pretty bad. I travel out of PDX often, and I will skip this restaurant in favor of others at the airport. The employees were very friendly and helpful and that's what earned the second star.
