I came to this location on friday August 7th at about 7:45 pm. We were seated immediately as the place was pretty much empty. So we ordered and 45 minutes later we got our food. We asked the waitress a couple of times where our food was and she said it was 'on the way'. After the food finally arrived the shift manager came over and 'wanted to make things right' due to our wait and she offered us dessert at the end of our meal if we were staying to watch the Timbers game. By the end of the meal we decided that we did not want the dessert but would rather have the cost of the dessert taken off our bills. We had 4 checks at the table, 3 for one person a piece, and mine for 6 people. Our waitress conferred with someone about the reduction in our bill and came back with adjusted bills. She took $5 off each bill. For those single party checks, averaging $25, $5 off was reasonable. For my $98 check, $5 off was not reasonable. I let the mananger know that I did not think it was reasonable to reduce my bill by roughly 5% while the other parties got about 20% off. She dug her heels in and refused to accomodate me so I told her if she was unwilling to correct the situation, where I believe waiting 45 minutes for deep fried wings is too long, I would correct it myself by withholding a tip for the waitress. I told her she could explain that to her staff. She told me she would take care of the waitress. After arriving at home I emailed the corporate office via the Buffalo Wild Wings website. I heard back from the General Manager on the following Sunday and he asked me what it would take to get me back in the restaurant. I told him he should figure that out and he told me he would speak to the owner. I have never heard from him again so I thought I would review this restaurant via Yelp. It was not the server that was terrible in this situation, it was the management and the apparently incompetent kitchen staff.

Came here on a Sunday morning with family to watch the Seahawks game. The place wasn't busy and we was seated right away, TV everywhere and we watched the Seahawks game on their biggest TV which was awesome. We ordered a bunch of food wings, boneless wings, chips and salsa, quesadilla and pita breads they were delicious. The staffs here are wonderful. Everyone was rooting for the Seahawks today and it was very loud. The beer is really cold. Love it!

The food was Awesome even though we had to wait since its march madness but our waitress was so slow which was a disappointing and there was about 8 workers just standing around.

Went to the bar area and sat for 15 Minutes. Not one server came by nor could I find anyone to flag down. Needless to say I left. You would think they would have better Service on a game day. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're hungry

The worst customer service ever! Not like this will make a difference to anyone, but if you want to be treated like you don't exist... Go to this Buffalo Wild Wings.

Beer selection good. Wing quality bad. You can't make mediocre chicken good with sauce . The upside is the Beer was good. Place was clean, the wait staff attentive

There is something about going to a restaurant and seeing the employees drink and are loud and obnoxious. Although they were not in uniform, it was obvious as they helped them selves to silverware and condiments in areas for employees only. The reason it was annoying was not that they were having fun, was more service was particularly horrible for me. The onion ring appetizer was $7 and came enough for one. I ordered the medium order of wings for $17. That is a bit over $1 per wing.. I have been to other locations through out California and this particular location lacked the same great atmosphere, cleanliness and cheerful service. I gave it a 2 star because BWW did deliver nice sized wings.. The buffalo sauce although was really a stick of butter with a splash of hot sauce. Had the wings naked with the sauce on the side. Otherwise it would be a 1 star.

You're greeted by an over-cheery staff then seated at table with about seven menus. The food is borderline horrible! I get it: attract is with TVs and women and skimp on food quality. But this is grub that we couldn't even finish. Probably the worst fries in Portland. Limeade made with Sierra Mist. I despise this place.

I agree with all the previous bad reviews of this particular buffalo wild wings. Having went to school in Buffalo, NY; this particular chain really disgraces buffalo. The service wasn't particularly bad for me, We did have a long wait; being that it was Tuesdays and there was a tuesday wing special. I understand that the orders will take a bit longer to come out. What i had a problem with were the wings they served. They were tiny, small and the wings just felt like it had a lot of sauce on them, and was not tossed well enough. Don't get me started on the fried garlic mushroom appetizer. They were so pathetic, It looked like 10 pieces of popcorn. If you were going to serve that, don't put a $7 price tag on what looked like a few pieces of small rat poop. Save yourself the money and just go somewhere else for wings. I won't be craving this for a while.

I have been to many Buffalo Wild Wings locations across the country, but this is the first time I've been to one in Portland. The food at this chain is consistent, the wings are great, and the atmosphere during sporting events is usually fun and upbeat. I wanted to like this location, but I cannot give it a good review due to the extremely poor service and lack of attention to customers. If it was a single server that showed this lack of attention, I would forgive it and blame it on a bad employee. Unfortunately, management also failed in this instance, leading me to believe that the entire staff is just poor at giving service. I ordered 10 wings and a diet coke, the wife ordered fish tacos. All the food was good, but they got my order wrong. They corrected the mistake and after serving the correct order, the server disappeared. For 20-30 minutes. We wanted dessert, but feared how long it would take. We decided not to order dessert and began the quest to find our server and pay our bill. Let's just say we never found him and ended up having to go inside and find the manager so she could ring us up. On our way out, the server magically appeared! We applauded the amazing magical display that rivaled only Harry Houdini himself and left before the next act that might keep us for another hour. An apology would have gone a long way, but they didn't even have the decency to do that. 2 stars for the food only. I would never eat here again.

Seated immediately and sat there waiting for someone to come take our drink order for over 5 minutes. I watched the two servers greet all the other tables around us that already had their food numerous times. As I got to see what the hold up was I saw the same two servers talking in drink prep area to each other. I asked for manager who listened to my concerns and apologized for horrible service. I am pretty sure she said nothing to those two servers. FYI it was max of 6 tables in dining room. We were only table without food so not really sure what the hold up was about. Will never visit this buffalo wings again when in Portland. Bad customer service!

I wish I could give less than 1 star. This is the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have ever been to. I came here because of the commercials stating "the official hangout of march madness". With 3 games left to play in the day on the first day of the tournament instead of audio for the games, they were playing Justin Biever and Bryan Adams on the jukebox. Out of a possible 15 TVs, 1 was playing any NCAA tournament games, even though there were 3 going on at the time. When asked to turn on audio for the game, the manager Brii said she couldn't because people were listening to the jukebox. WHY ARE PEOPLE EVEN ALLOWED TO LISTEN TO THE JUKEBOX IN FAVOR OF A TIED NCAA TOURNAMENT GAME?!? I thought this was "the official hangout for march madness". I will be telling my friends to hangout elsewhere.

This is literally the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have been to. There was a line and we asked how long the wait would be and she told us that if we didn't want to wait we could sit in the bar, so we sat in the bar and had absolutely no intention on ordering a drink. The waitress asks for our IDS and then tells us that I can't sit in the bar because my license is expired. She was extremely rude and because of this horrible experience we will never come back

I have been to this location during the day and had a 4 star experience but tonight was different. I do not think I will ever go back when the night crew and manager are working. Service was horrible and 2 simple desserts to go took 33 minutes to get. Once they were brought out I went to just get it as the Server was too busy flirting with the girl who was placing a to go order, then the manager tried to take one of the bags from me even after I said it was mine. (In his defense he might have been stressed out due to how slow it was.)

My fave location out of all the ones in Portland/Vancouver area. Service is quick . Wings are hot & not frozen. The Berry Angry Mojito is delish! Watched the manager David making his rounds in dining room. When that many customers are known by name -that's a great sign! Special orders or questions have never been an issue! I even chose those this location for my 50th b day party/dinner!! UFC & football is def more fun here than anywhere else I've been! Female friendly!!

Well...we stopped into the Lloyd district BWW for an after work drink and to support friends in the "And the Beat Goes On" band for their fundraiser. G/f had a couple of Lemon Drops ("not the greatest") and a flatbread pizza-ish kind of thing, friend also had a couple of Lemon Drops and some boneless wings. Food was average at best. And this would have been an average review if we didn't have service issues. When the waitress brought our bill - around $33 - we dropped a couple of $20's in the folder. She said "Thanks!" - and disappeared, never to be seen again. Somehow she'd gotten the impression that we were tipping her the change even though we had said NOTHING to give her that impression. She never asked, she never came back. Neither my g/f nor our friend wanted to make a stink about it though so we just left. Mind you, a $7-ish tip on a $33 bill isn't totally unreasonable but I'd certainly prefer to be given the freakin' choice rather than have my moneys essentially taken from me. Not cool at all, lady. Not cool, BWW - we won't be coming back. And yes, people will hear about this. It's just WRONG.

So far, we have been sitting here for over 20 minutes waiting for our food we ordered. The table that came in after us already has their food. Definitely not a good place for a quick lunch. The IRS is quicker with tax refunds than the service is here.

I came into town for a visit around the holidays. Me and a buddy wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings because the food is always good. We went to this Buffalo and sat down at the bar. We ordered a drink quick and then ordered some food shortly after. Our original serve (Josh) switched out with another server. We waited for about 40 mins for our food I then asked our waiter if this was normal to wait this long in a fairly empty restaurant. He proceeded to go check on our food and told us it would be a just a second. Our food came shortly after. When the food came out it was luke warm and not made how it was ordered. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager which was Josh came out. I told him about how it was not how it was ordered and it was just warm and that we waited 40 mins. He proceed to give me an attitude and tell me that there is no way it is just warm since they sit under warmers. I told him to try one and let me know if its cold. He took them and said that more will come up. He then came back and told me that it may of felt like a 40 min wait but there was no way it was. I told him that I know for a fact it was because I sent a picture right after I ordered and then he just walked off. About 10 mins later the food came out and it was great. I was waiting for Josh to make up for this somehow and he did not. The next day I wrote a complaint on the Buffalo Wild Wings site. About a week later I got a call from the GM David. He talked to me about the situation and was friendly and understanding about the situation. He asked me if I could make it to the UFC event that night and he would take care of me because of the incident. I explained to him that is not an option because that was my last day in town and I fly back the next day. He then said that he would send me a gift card that day so I could use it back home. It has now been 3 weeks and still no gift card and when I contacted him about it there was no reply. By far the worst customer service and the worst ran Buffalo and restaurant for that matter that I have ever been to. I will never return to this Buffalo Wild Wings again and I would recommend if you want good customer service drive a little further to get better service.

When this place first opened, it was a TERRIBLE place to go to...but I've got to say, since Dave took over as manager at this location, he's turned it completely around. It is now our regular place to go for watching UFC fights, and even other sporting events on occasion (watch the Super Bowl here this year). The staff here are friendly, and the management has a good handle on what is going on. The food is always good well, and the beer selection if almost as good as it gets.

I've worked as a server at BWW before and have to agree with others. This location has the worst service in all of the Portland locations. I've been here many times and have yet to be served by someone who had any personality or friendliness. Today, the hostess walked away from me. After a minute, I learned that I was somehow supposed to read her mind that I should follow her to our table. It's loud, so I know it's a little harder to carry on friendly conversation, but would it hurt to smile?

Came here Friday night to get some dinner before a Winterhawks game. Had no idea it was another NHL game and a Blazer's game, so it was understandably busy. We waited at a table in the bar for about 5 minutes before realizing service was just not gonna happen, so we went to the bar. The bartender didn't even so much as look our direction, but he was literally right in front of us. We waited for 15 more minutes and decided we would leave in 1 more minute if we didn't get service. The manager then asked if we had been help where we made sure to let him know that we hadn't. He was very polite (wish I knew his name) and apologized profusely. Our drinks and food did come out quickly and in a gesture of great gratitude, he offered to comp us for our meals. However, we ate our entire meals and have never been the type to think that something like that warrants free food. I just think it's tacky, IMO. The gesture was extremely appreciated though, but we reminded the manager that we are repeat customers so it's okay. Honestly, yes it's a chain, it's nothing special but this BW is probably one of the better ones. It isn't to say I haven't had bad experiences at other ones, but they're alright here. Four stars for the manager alone.

Kinda surprised to see so many bad reviews. Obviously, this is not one of Portland's bar/restaurant gems... But in the realm of sports bars, I find it to be more than adequate. Contrary to other reviews, our server was both friendly and efficient. The bar area is large and lined with wall to wall TV's... perfect for watching a Blazer's playoff game. The food is... bar food. Nothing fancy, but who would expect that? I'd recommend the fried pickles. Overall satisfied with my experience and would definitely return for watching another game.

Service in general was fairly fast and the food decent (for what it is) other than random fried bits in our wedges. Too bad Anjelica, our waitress, seemed to have an attitude that ruined the experience for us, the rest of the employees were great. We'll try to avoid this location due to spotty service.

Well, I just got back from Buffalo Wild Wings and figured I should go ahead and author this while the resin of tomato, vinegar, and pepper is fresh upon my typing hand. As often is my practice, I was in the hot tub post-workout at L.A. Fitness Lloyd Center, brainstorming about where to eat, when I thought, "not Nong's Khao Man Gai again. Although their famous Thai-style chicken and rice is healthy and satisfying, I've been there many times already this month. But I still really want chicken," as I often do, being addicted to chicken as I am. After showering in the filthy, bustling rush-hour gym stalls where sweat-drenched, fat middle-aged men greased up their sickening loins, and changing into street clothes, I still hadn't decided. But whilst ascending the manifold steps out of the depths of that humid pit of a basement-gym, I saw the yellowed buffalo like an Eastern Sun, peaking over the horizon and beckoning me to chicken. I headed in and was told to seat myself. So, I walked through a maze of sports memorabilia, a lake of overweight sportsmen at circular tables drinking double pints of Hefeweisen, to the long, white, nearly empty bar, and gazed up to a panorama of flat screens, all broadcasting different baseball games. I counted seven in total, with two additional screens for BWW's trivia game and patron player rankings. The sound from these several events streamed through the atmosphere, intersecting in confusing ways, and creating a tonal haze of ambient schizophrenia. Traditional wings were on special for .55 cents a piece, which is a good deal, but I also wanted their boneless for some reason. So, what I did was order 4 traditional with Hot sauce (their traditional Buffalo-style sauce option), and then 8 boneless for $8.99, which in retrospect was a huge mistake, because the traditional wings were way better. My suspicion I had made a nasty blunder was confirmed when a sportsmen of middle-age sat near to me and confidently ordered 14 traditional: 7 with traditional Buffalo Hot, 7 Dry Rub Desert Heat. Had I ordered this way, my bill would've come to $7.70, but I ended up paying $11.19, and the boneless wings were stale tasting and didn't have that much chicken in them. Lesson learned. Sitting alone, I began to watch baseball and serendipitously witnessed an amazing catch by the left-fielder of the Seattle Mariners, a jumping, rolling, sliding sort of catch. I looked over at my bar buddy, and we made smiling eye contact, and he said, "that's gonna be an ESPN highlight." I said, "I think so," and smiled genuinely because I felt a rare moment of masculine solidarity, as I often surround myself with women or intellectual men who rarely lose themselves watching a generic American sporting event. I decided not to speak anymore with this man. I wanted to maintain his likely illusion that I am someone who watches baseball regularly, and not someone who every few years decides to watch a half inning while killing time until he gets his lonely weird chicken dinner, so as to preserve the connection I felt with him. But like I said, I far preferred the traditional, bone-in style of wing to the more expensive, generally mushy and stale boneless man's wing that I paid the premium for. Another interesting note was I asked for both ranch and blue cheese, and I ate through all of the ranch while thinking it was blue cheese. And then when I tasted the actual blue cheese, I realized what had happened, and felt cheated by myself for being such a fool. That said, both dipping dressings were viscous.

Ok. So once upon a time I worked at the FIRST Buffalo Wild Wings in Columbus Ohio. Back then we actually cared about the food we served and it was quality stuff. Today...total corporate theme restaurant. Incredibly small chicken wings, soggy fries, plastic servers and everything served on disposable paper trays. Totally weak. Why this place is still in business I'll never know. Honestly, horrible

    (1)
  • Chelsea B.

Service was painfully slow. Granted, it was March Madness, but we were completely ignored for 25 minutes after getting our beers and we were starving. Once we finally did get to order the wings did come out quickly. The server seemed overwhelmed and exasperated by any request. Definitely was going for quantity and not quality in the serving style. Disappointing.

Whoa.. This place was incredibly horrid! Wings were terrible. Sauces tasted like they came out of a bottle you could get at the grocery store. Ranch was rancid.. Really you can't even make hidden valley ranch!?? Soooo bad. I wish I could throw up and erase my memory. Worst meal I've had in years!!

Go here if you like sports, beer, and/or wings! Great beer selection, tue and thurs wing specials, great 3-6 happy hour and 9-close late night specials, and a crap-load of TV's as far as the eye can see. If it's too expensive....go to KFC. If it takes a long time to get your wings......they are made to order and have to be cooked enough so you don't get salmonella ! If it's too loud because of games being shown at a sports bar.....what were you expecting?!?! If you think the salads aren't gourmet .....it's a sports bar! (Blackened chicken salad is pretty awesome and my vegetarian fiancé gets the Asian chicken salad sub black bean burger that's also delicious) If you're looking for free range chickens or a fine dining restaurant at a sports bar..... then you're probably having a hard time reading some of the "big" words I've used in this review and rode the short bus to school ;0) If you only got to watch part of your sports game because the rest of the bar came to see a UFC title fight or Pacquiao beat someone down.....you seriously couldn't find one of the 1000's of T.V.'s with your game ?!?! I requested a game and they put it on a big screen last time I was there !!! Two words to conclude......SUPER BOWL !!!!!!

I just don't get the popularity of this place. The food is mediocre at best and way overpriced. I've given it two tries and I'm done. The sauces are fair to middling, the blue cheese dressing does not taste like blue cheese dressing, I can't begin to tell you what it does taste like, I guess sort of like really bland plain yogurt. The wings are not good, the chicken breast was over cooked and dried out.

    (2)

Not bad. Pay for what you get. Usually get the take out if I'm busy. Asian zing is by far the best sauce.

Visiting from out of town, always go to BWW for Sunday football games at home. This was the worst experience I have ever had, the wings are fine like they are everywhere. The service was abhorrent. The waitress was rude, messed up our order, didn't try to fix it and started slamming beers on the table when we reminded her what she forgot. Manager promised me he'd comp my appetizer and a round of beers, the waitress decided to comp one beer and the appetizer that we never received. Worst service I've ever had at a bww. One star, terrible experience.

Very good wings. I have tried several of their sauces now (they have around 20). I think the HOT BBQ might be my favorite. But I ordered a take out, only to get home and discover I was given Ranch this time with my wings vs. Blue Cheese. Very disappointing to have take out orders screwed up. Blue Cheese should be the default dressing given with Wings (and always has been in the past here). Who dips wings in Ranch?? Seriously....

I like their choices of sauces better than FOTM. There is more variety and not everything is spicy. We love their onion rings. They are battered instead of breaded so there is a nice crispy crunch and the sauce is quite tasty.

Went to watch the UFC fights here tonight. While on our way, some little punks egged our car. That's right, I was driving down 33rd and the morons threw eggs at us from the street corner. I pulled over and unleashed my MMA fighter kid on those little miscreants. I guess they thought nobody would run them down? Seriously? Back in my old 'hood, they would have had a 50/50 chance of getting SHOT. Anyway, the kids got chased to their own front door and their mom didn't seem to give a crap. Clueless twit. Great parenting there. The little sociopaths also had a bunch of batteries taped together that they were apparently planning to toss at cars, too. Awesome. THAT wouldn't cause grievous bodily injury to anybody. Noooo. I called the PoPo on 'em. Anyway, I digress. When we got to BWW, I asked if I could borrow a towel to wipe the egg off my paint. The nice folks at this place not only gave me a towel, they provided me with a little bucket of hot, soapy water. It got that egg off pronto. Yay! The fights were fun and the service was friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately, a storm knocked out the DirecTV for a few minutes and we missed one fight, but what are you going to do about that? Great place to watch UFC. $5.00 cover, but it's worth it. They have about a million big screens and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Plus, if your car gets egged on the way there, they got your back.

As with all things, it is important to know what you are getting yourself into when you visit a B-Dubs. You can expect average to slightly better than average chicken wings, a great selection of beer (micro and macro) and a lot of televisions on which to watch your favorite sporting event. Do not expect good and knowledgeable service, acceptable food quality with anything besides the chicken or a quiet atmosphere. B-Dubs is consistently mediocre, but sometimes you just want to go somewhere that will have the game on a giant television and can provide you with copious amounts of chicken and Oregon beer; just don't be disappointed when you have to give your waitress a crash course in beer styles or chase to remind her of your order while finding your own silverware. Go Niners!

Went there for dinner and to watch the Yankees game on Saturday. We were rush out of there. VERY RUDE!!! Was still eating our wings and drinking (Hubby = Beer; Me = Lemonade) when our waitress gave us to go boxes and our bill... Wow!!! We didn't even ask for it. We had more then half of our food and drink to finish and the game just started. The wings weren't good because they taste like your grocery store wings. Also, our daughter's naked chicken tenders, order from the kid's meal was burnt. But we were nice and didn't make a big scene about it. She just ate our wings... P.S. Our daughter was well behavior and busy playing with her book. So we don't understand why we were rush out of there.

Are you looking for wings? I don't have anything intelligent to say about that, I'm meh on wings. Don't be too macho on the hot sauces though, when they say hot it's a Thai food / Indian food kind of hot, a serious hot, not a lame American-style Mexican restaurant kind of hot. HOT. I ended up wiping the sauce off with a napkin just to be able to eat it. Nice big beers, the extra tall size is good value for microbrews. Are you looking for a place to watch a sports game? You will definitely be able to watch it here, they have 40 or 50 TVs. I don't know how good they are at finding obscurely televised games (Australian rules football B league?) but I'm guessing pretty good. On the down side, only one game gets its sound broadcast, which makes sense, but I just like to be able to hear a game. So I wouldn't go here to see a team if I knew a place I could get the sound on with the game.

For those not knowing buffalo wild wings, it is a large chain sports bar. For those looking for a place with a bunch of large screens to watch sports on, this place is pretty good. The food was really no better than stuff you get out of the freezer isle at the grocery store. Sure they have a bunch of sauces for the wings, but it is all sooooo salty and gross. And to top it all off, the screens for the trivia game are all off in the corners and not visible from many of the tables. With all the sports bars near by, there are way better choices than this place.

ZERO stars. (Vancouver location/includes all) Came to watch Beaver game w/son, After standing in line for almost 2 hours. They switched the big screen to a fight. I then coudn't see the little tv from 40 feet. So after driving home I saw the last 2:34 and never once saw a touchdown. White trash place hangout. Never again. Beavers 62-14

What a disappointment. Ordered lunch to go for an office birthday party. Four of us ordered salads with sauce and dressing on the side (spoke with Mike). We were so excited to eat, but we ended up with nothing but lettuce, cabbage, and plain chicken. No sauces or dressings to be found anywhere. NEVER AGAIN.

Went in and checked out the Oregon vs Wisconsin Rose Bowl and it was a Standard BWW when it comes to the food, drinks, and prices. But the new location has one of the best set ups I have scene in the Portland metro area. The service was friendly and great even with it being the grand opening and all. I will definitely be checking this location out again for games since it was not over crowded for a game.

I love wings. I am a fan of Fire on the Mountain but lately have found the wings to be too expensive and too small for my taste. I have never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings but when I saw this new location open, I had to try them out. I knew it is a sports bar, though I'm not a fan of sports, I do love the energy that fans bring. We went in on a game night and the hostess asked if we had a preference on which game we wanted to watch. SO MANY TVs. We were there for the wings, not for the game, and opted for a quiet table by the wall with a good view of the place. Did I mention SO MANY TVs? Service was prompt and polite. It was apparent that everyone working there was new. Our server came back twice to verify our order...which she had written down. We ordered fifty wings, half with hot sauce, half with sweet BBQ. Being fans of large orders of wings, we are accustomed to having to wait. Imagine our surprise when our entire order of fifty wings (plus sides) arrived in about ten minutes! Nom nom nom. When the check came, there was a charge for the water we'd ordered, but the server quickly corrected it. Will go back! Slightly cheaper than Fire on the Mountain. Will especially go back for 45-cent wing Tuesdays. Highly recommended for game-watching if that's your thing. Did I mention there are SO MANY TVs?

BWW is old news I know. But honestly what a great place to get some grub and watch a game. After visiting several other locations and getting slow or just plain bad service (no service in one instance, we had to walk out), we decided to watch the Blazer game at the newly opened lloyd center location. What a nice change!! Attentive servers and expediters, nice hot food without a long wait. I recommend the Parmesan-garlic sauce, it is great! Check this place out for the next Blazer (or whichever team you like) games, its worth a shot!
