Super good food. From the doughnuts to the burgers and everything in between. Food is always fresh and never disappointing. Amazing place to have breakfast and or lunch. Staff are great, a little quiet, but nonetheless super friendly. The owner John and his wife always greet us with 1000 watt smiles. It's a "Mom n Pop" joint that you will enjoy!

Came here to sample their lunch menu and tried the daily special of spinach and strawberry salad and cold rock (fruit) soup which were both outstanding. The salad was one of the best I've had in the area and the soup was tangy, unique, light, and refreshing. Their doughnuts may be the mainstay here, but the food menu is not to be missed! Also, it's super affordable.

Was looking for a donut and found better at NutCakes. The folded pies with filling(s) are so unique. I had the one with strawberry filling. Man was that a good choice. Perfectly baked with springy dough. The glaze wasn't overwhelming which was great. Also, had a maple bar which was average. Improved icing to dough ratio would be better. Had a few other donuts which were good flavoring. The biggest pit fall was the price of the donuts. 6 donuts for $9.50 is a little high. Overall this place is great to try but not for everyday unless you're getting small quantities.

I really wish they would open a shop closer to my house. On second thought, maybe it is better that they don't. The buttermilk bars are to die for.

Sub par donuts and the staff are not friendly. I have been here several times (boyfriend likes it) and I am not impressed

When Grama Dama's donuts in Corvallis closed, I was distraught. Where were we all supposed to get our donuts? Albertson's? Barf-O-Rama. Then, someone told me about NutCakes. A little out of the way for us, but the donuts are so tasty, especially when they're fresh. My favorites are the cinnamon twists and the jelly donuts. This is the first food place that I've "liked" on Facebook that makes good use of that network. I was "Facebook Friend of the Day" once and got a free donut. Can you saw awesome? They also sometimes have a surplus at the end of the day and advertise that you can come fill a box up with donuts for $5. I felt guilty! But man, we lived on those donuts for two extra days. My only complaint, which wasn't even worth dropping a star, is that one employee is sort of surly. Never smiles, is barely courteous... but I've only seen her there twice. When I mentioned her to my husband, he said, "Oh yeah, she terrifies me." Oh well, the food is worth it.

Awesome! "Insanely delicious" is an accurate descriptor of my husband's donuts and my apple fritter. Coming back for sure!

These donuts are amazing. Seriously: there is no comparison between these donuts and supermarket donuts. Your first bite will reveal to you how bleak and meaningless your existence was before trying these truly life changing donuts. I wouldn't be surprised if you go on to lead a successful career and meet beautiful people as a direct result of eating these pieces of doughy ecstasy. They also sell smoothies which are pretty good as well.

Very delicious glazed doughnuts. Been to lots of of doughnut places and they make really good plain glazed doughnuts. Tried lots of other baked goods in the place, but it was not anything you couldn't get from a Safeway or non specialty store.

This place is outstanding. Their doughnuts and cupcakes are insanely delicious, as their sign states. Their lunch items are incredible. The pulled pork sandwich is the best I've had, and the buns and bread are made in-house. Ryan also makes wonderful soups, and has a different one every day - except Friday, which is clam chowder day. If you like them on Facebook, you can find out the special of the day. This place is truly a gem!

I love eating at tiny little restaurants in tiny towns. The good first - Fabulous lunch specials. I had the tuna melt which was great. They even bake the bread it comes on too. They also have outrageously yummy donuts. We usually pick up either a couple of old-fashioneds or this huge monster donut with fruit and cream cheese in the middle. It is almost as big as a textbook. It is like a donut stuffed pizza. Also, how do you spell donut/doughnut? My spellchecker says it's the latter. Hmm. The not-so-good - the place was as quiet as a church on Friday night. They need to pump some tunes into there. I am thinking the oldies station would be a great fit. Also, they need to work on their signage. There was no soup listed, and I didn't think to ask. Then someone walked in and asked and it was Broccoli Cheddar, my favorite! And I missed out! What?! And a couple of the desserts and donuts weren't labeled. If you are cruisin' the desserts like a pro, you don't want to ask what each item is. Pretty minor flaws, but maybe they will see this and fix them. I'll check back next time I'm in town :)

Love this place! The doughnuts are good, of course, but their regular food is delicious as well. Their sandwiches are solid. The BLT is what I usually get... not sure where they procure their bacon, but it's quite good. I should mention that the service is always great as well. All around good.

The donuts are always stellar and a great way to bribe my kids, but I come for the homemade soups and my husband loves the sandwiches. The pulled pork sandwich brings a big smile to my hubby's face every time. And if you want to have a memorable special event, the fondant cakes by Jennifer are creative, fun and amazing. To top it all off, the owners Rian and Jennifer are constantly giving back to the community--supporting local schools, the rodeo and many others. It doesn't get better than this total package!

Solid, solid, solid. The fried egg sandwiches are excellent -- great rolls , eggs that are crispy at the edges, loads of pork product (bacon, sausage, or ham), and super melty cheese. The bacon is particularly good. I'm fat, so we got some doughnut kickers to eat after the sammies -- fritters, old fashioned, and maple glazed were all excellent. The only thing that came up short were the biscuits -- not really bad, just not nearly as good as everything else. I can't wait to go back to this place.

The donuts here are excellent. We were also blown away by the biscuits and gravy. Beware of getting them loaded w/ Bacon and cheese, I almost had to be rolled home. My only gripe is I wish they had fresh drip coffee instead of the fancy machine. But I will be back for donuts.

This place is fantastic. The chocolate bar i had was awesome, soft and chewy and flavorful nothing like what you'd get at a grocery store. The breakfast I had was was very tasty and inexpensive, I can't wait to go back and try something off their lunch menu.

My mother fiancé and I went here for the first time today. We were craving donuts and so tried of Safeway donuts so we found this place on yelp and I am so happy we went! The donuts were so good, fresh and perfect. Great place, nice people! Must go!

I love this local little shop. Donuts are to die for, prices are reasonable, and service is friendly! And, they have free Wi-Fi! The only thing that keeps this from being a 5-star review is that they are hampered by their old building. Dining room is small and drafty, floor is squishy, and the general ambiance is not great. I highly recommend this place, but maybe get your food to go?

Nutcakes is advertised as a cupcake and donut place, and I have yet to try their cupcakes, but they have good donuts. I have had both a maple bar, and a chocolate cake donut, covered in chocolate frosting topped with M&Ms. Both were great, and cheap. Along with donuts and cupcakes, they sell muffins and cookies. Overall, great taste and cheap price. Highly recommended.

I have gotten the donuts here several times and they are always quite fresh and tasty. Sometimes the glaze is a bit thick for my taste, but I'm not not much for icing. They do have an unglazed old fashioned of which I am particularly partial. We ordered several dozen of the bacon maple bars for a brunch and they were an all around hit. Last weekend we had the sandwiches. My son had the cheeseburger which looked good. My friend had the BLT with cheese which she shared and was excellent. I had the tuna salad on homemade bread. The tuna was good, but next time I would ask for the bread to be toasted. I would have given this establishment 4 and 1/2 stars if I could. I wish they had a few more drink choices available.
