Not really sure what to think about it. Pizza is expensive- over $20 for a 16 inch veggie! But beer is cheap- $7 for a big pitcher of micro brew. Seats are very uncomfortable. They say they do UFC fights, but on the side of the restaurant we were in there was just one big TV, so I can imagine that it is kind of hard to watch. The video games SUCK. there are only 3 games and one was out of order. The other 2 were lame. The pizza itself- crust was good, sauce was pretty good. Cheese had cheddar in it but I won't hold it too much against them- a lot of people do that. However! The tomatoes on our veggie pizza were half green. literally. If it was my restaurant I would not have allowed that pizza out of my kitchen. What an embarrassment. One thing a pizza place should definitely have is GOOD TOMATOES. And if you get a bad shipment just say you are out and offer to sub something! And in August?? Tomatoes are everywhere right now and they are gorgeous, so there really is no excuse. Won't be back anytime real soon...

This pizza is bomb! Whenever I am in town I go here for pizza. Its crispy and delicious, I think I enjoy their bread-sticks even more!

This place IS as good as it gets... depending on what you expect. If you are looking for that place you grew up with, the pizza joint with greasy pizza, greasy floors, big screen TVs, and cheap beer, then this is the place to be. I came here in desperation to watch Monday Night Football. I enjoyed a Double Red Ale and a Black Butte Porter for 1.75 each (4.50 in other restaurants) and had a good pizza (not the best, or cheapest but nothing to complain about) and they were happy to let me sit and watch my favorite team play an entire game. No, they do not have fresh local ingredients and top guormet chefs preparing your pizzas, but they never said they were trying to do that. What they do, they do well. But to be honest, anywhere that will sell me a Ninkasi Total Domination IPA for $1.75 WILL get 5 stars every time.

Admittedly, I haven't had the pizza here. YET. I went a few weeks ago for beers after work & had a good time. They have a great selection of beer & there's some kind of deal going on every night. I did have the fries & they were delicious! I plan on going back, Ye Old Pizza just hasn't won a special place in my stomach quite yet.

This is the Pizza of my childhood. I remember when the "Take and bakes" took the world by storm. They were good, they were cheap, but they did not have that restaurant taste. I think it is mostly in the crust and the sauce. I have been going to YOPS since I started working at Current Electronics as an after school job when I was 17. I fell in love with Newberg, and Ye Olde's at the same time. 25 years later it is still the best Pizza in the state I have ever had. I love the crust and sauce. As of 2013, if the perfection it had in the 80s ever left, it has be re-found. The old saying, if it aint broke, don't fix it would apply here. They aren't over priced either, not cheap, not over priced. I tend to like regular and thin crusts over thick crust, they have mastered the regular traditional crust. I just cant say enough good things about this place. A lot of personal history here for me.

When we first moved to the area we were told this was the best pizza on Newberg. The pizza we had was one of the worst we ever had in our lives. I don't eat cardboard, but if I did I imagine the crust of the pizza we had would taste like this. I would advise proceed with caution.

My husband and I decided to try "the best pizza in Newberg", aka Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe. .....we were terribly disappointed to say the least. We ordered 1/2 Cheeseburger n 1/2 Shoppe Special. A lot of the lettuce on the Cheeseburger 1/2 was brown n slimy, the concept was a good one and makes me want to make one....The other 1/2 wasn't even edible. ...The dough was really tough, it was crispy and we enjoyed the cornmeal, but the dough was tough, like it wasn't fresh as their website said it would be. We much preferred Abby's Pizza. We won't be back, nor will we recommend it.

The pizza was yummy but I enjoy thinner crusted pizza, the onion rings where pretty good too.The service was good everyone was nice and helpful. The place felt a bit divey could use a good sproosing up, but I would totally go back and I would definitely recommend there pizza.

Not the best pizza I've had, and overpriced for what it is. The crust isn't very doughy and the sauce is overly sweet. For 22 dollars you would think they would give you something a little better quality.

The place is great. The kids love to ride the merry go round. The pizza is great quality. Not the best but very satisfying. The drink specials are amazingly good and brings me in. A definite place to visit.

Pure nastiness. Tasted like it was pulled from a box of frozen pizza. Watched the employees pull the pre made pizza crust from the cooler. Cheese on pizza had cheddar mixed in. Salad consisted of shredded lettuce with tomato mixture. Does not have Guinness on tap any longer. Prices were high for quantity and quality of food, not worth another visit. Don't waste your time or money. Still can't get the nasty taste out of my mouth.

Monday and Thursday night are the BEST. 1.75 pints for the good stuff, not the boring domestics. Solid pizza and friendly staff too!

I've been here once. The pizza was good - thin, crispy crust, slightly spicy sauce. I got the personal size lunch special for $7. It was small for the price, though it does include salad and drink. For me to come back, the pizza would have to be bigger, or the price would have to go down. Atmosphere was a little depressing. Some lights or music may help.

The pizza is ok but I give them one star up because they do offer a gluten free crust that is thin crispy and delicious. However overall they r overpriced for so so pizza with old run down atmosphere.
