We have been going here for years. Most of the time the food is pretty darn good. The décor is very dated. Many of the chef's specials are not what you would think would be served at a hotel diner. There are times that we found the service is not what it should be and other times the food is not what it should be... however, over all it is pretty consistent. We know many items on the menu (their standards) and know they will always be right... or they will make them right. Once in a while we find the choices of tastes in the chef's specials are pretty strange, but may times they are a very pleasing combination. I understand this is a mixed review... all I can say is try them. They may be a new favorite of yours. If your experience is not what you think it should be... try them again. There are many places in Medford where we will NEVER return... this is a place we frequent.

The Regency Grill used to be a reasonable place to go for dinner. It wasn't great, super fancy or anything extraordinary, but the food was decent, and the prices were reasonable. However, something has changed. We went to the Regency Grill Wednesday night for dinner. It wasn't busy. We were seated right away and our drinks (water and hot tea) were brought immediately. And then we were ignored. For .... longer than 15 minutes. No one ever came back to our table. Eventually we just left. We walked by all the servers standing around at the front counter and they said nothing to us as we left. Not good night, not sorry, not is every thing okay? Nothing. In addition, the Regency Grill has raised their prices significantly and have changed their menu. They have a specials sheet with "higher end" dishes salmon, prime rib, etc., but their main menu reads more like a bar menu: burgers, salads, sandwiches, pasta, all with prices out of line for the restaurant itself, and Medford in general. We left $2.50 on the table for my hot tea (really? $2.50??) and left. This was our last trip to the Regency Grill.

Very nice little hotel coffee shop in the Rogue Regency Inn in Medford, OR. When you stay at the hotel, you get a $11 "Regency Breakfast" with choice of beverage, for only $4.99 per person. The breakfasts are very good, I'd say better than a Denny's and you can't beat the great value. Its good enough so you don't need to go elsewhere for breakfast. If you're not staying at the hotel, my rating would be 3.5. Because of the special offer (saving about $8 per person on breakfast + coffee), my rating is 5 stars.

Went for Sunday brunch had the eggs northwest and the Monte Carlo. The food is okay so not worth the price. The benedict sauce was seperated. The fruit and cookies are yummy. Probably won't go back.

.Mediocre food at best, indifferent, inattentive service, truly exhorbitant prices on cocktails, higher even than San Francisco! There are so many good restaurants in Medford it makes no sense to choose this one. I will never go back!

Here's a great spot for not only great food but a great bar for sports on TV. The menu is excellent and the drinks are great. Service in the bar is fast and friendly. Tracy is a great master mixologist ! This is my second time here and now have it bookmarked so I can find it again.

So if your a guest you pay just 5 dollars for breakfast... Strange, as most hotels give away breakfast... If your not a guest you pay over 10 dollars and frankly there are better breakfast options in Medford... They are pricey for the location, and ambiance. You can go into the bar, which has TV's and has the sports bar feel. Service is spotty, been here several times and they don't really have that spunky excited hostess you come to expect. Instead you get a "you can sit over there" and pretty slow service. To the point I had to waive to my server to get some ketchup.

Hope you're in for a wait... Waited forever to get anything. Food that was good, the chicken strips, and the cheesecake...food that was bad, the clam strips! Holy cow, never have I had such a rubbery piece of nastiness. My teeth couldn't get through to take a bite. Do not order!!! The cheesecake on the other hand, delicious! Order that. Also, kept asking for water and the host would only give my husband water and not me, even though I ASKED FOR WATER! Weird. Our waitress was very nice, slow, but she may have been working the bar too? Probably would only recommend for cheesecake.

I came and and was immediately seated by a gracious host; little did I know that would be as good as my breakfast would be. The table was just wiped down, but not dried so there were pools of water everywhere. I asked for a couple napkins and dried it myself. I heard a discussion between who seemed to be the manager and one of the waitresses about helping me. Apparently she didn't want to because 10 long minutes later someone else comes out and simply says, "what would you like?" The coffee was alright but I had to stir it with the back of my knife. My food came out and I ate only one of the poached eggs. The other was too undercooked for me to eat. The waitress then gave me the check and a "here you go" type sendoff.

Well, they've lost a customer of over 20 years. I have eaten there for the past 20 years at least 2-3 weekends a month and lunches and dinners throughout the year. Often I bring family and friends there. Two Sundays ago, I was there with my son, daughter in law and two young grandchildren. We sat outside. We waited quite a while, then I got up and got our own menus. When they finally brought the children fruit cups, there was no silverware. We asked for some but it never came. Now, over 45 minutes into our time there, I went and got silverware for the table. When our breakfast came, my son and I had ordered Eggs Benedict. (This is a signature dish for them) The eggs were hard boiled. The waitress came by a few minutes later and asked how the meal was. I told her, 'not good'. I let her know my son and I had both gotten eggs the texture of hard boiled. Also the hollandaise was watered down and tasteless. She asked if I wanted them to redo the order, and I told her that there was no way we could wait another 45 minutes, and we had two small children. She shrugged and returned inside. I did not finish mine - they were simply inedible and my son said his were awful. When the waitress brought the bill, I noticed we were charged full price for the Eggs Benedict. I asked the waitress to please take off the the two Eggs Benedict. Looking doubtful, she said she'd have to ask the manager. She returned saying the manager had refused. I was shocked to say the least. The manager knows I've been a loyal customer for so many years. I went up to the hostess station and asked to see the manager. After five minutes, the 'Assistant Manager' came out looking sullen and with an attitude. I was told the regular manager was out that weekend. I said to him, 'I've been a customer for...' And he cut me off saying, 'I know how long you've been a customer.' Then I said, 'then you will understand why I am asking you to take those two breakfasts off the bill. It was awful.' He responded, 'Then, you should have had them redone.' I replied that we had two young children, looked at my watch, and told him we had been there an hour and 20 minutes already. He said, 'Well, I'm not taking them off.' I told him if he ever wanted to see me, my family or my friends again, he'd take it off the bill. He turned his back on me and barked to the waitress, 'Fine, take it off the bill...take it off the bill!' and returned to whatever lair he came out of. I have owned a restaurant and I would NEVER treat a customer like that, especially a loyal one of over 20 years. A week ago, I sent them an e-mail letting them know what happened and that I did not think I could come back. To date, I have had no reply. I have one question for them: Was it worth the price of four eggs?

Where do I begin? We met a friend there for drinks at Chadwick's which is fine for a sports bar. Their Lemon Drop is just basically juice. No booze. I had to ask over and over for one with alcohol in it. Oh, and the service is a joke. We went to the Regency Grill for dinner. As we walked through what I thought was the coffee shop, they said that was the restaurant. We sat outside on the patio which was geriatric central. There was a buffet going on but we decided to order from the menu. Again, getting a waitress was almost impossible. There were no bus boys, so no water, no napkins etc. I was really appalled to see an entree for almost $30 in that atmosphere! I had the pork chop with the "starch de jour" a really lame way for saying potatoes. Our waitress didn't even know what that was! Even outside the service was horrible. My companions had the cod and the pasta. Overall, I'd say the experience was somewhat of a joke. I would never go back. It was really a lame place, no atmosphere and for the prices they charge you can do much better in Ashland or almost anywhere else. The hotel was freezing cold in the lobby and had a really creepy and depressing air about it. It felt deserted even though there were a few people around. It was almost as if the management had never been to a city where they had restaurants with real service. They were completely clueless. And my salad had a horrible little scab of a dried onion end on it. I didn't bother to mention it to them because it was so small in the scope of their lameness. The raspberry vinaigrette tasted like cough medicine.

I love this place. Great place to take the family. Best place to eat in Medford for sure. We always stay at the Regency when we travel that way, so we have gotten to know a few of the staff members and they are really great people. Really good breakfast spot, wonderful up-scale dinner menu as well. The bar is also great if you are looking for some fun on the weekends, they do comedy nights and Karaoke.

We make a road trip two times per year from So. Cal to Washington and always stay at the Rogue Regency in Medford. Everyone on staff is always so accommodating and pleasant. For the price, everything is GREAT. We especially enjoy Chadwicks and the restaurant. The kitchen was remodeled at Christmas and when we arrived over the holiday break, the restaurant was closed. I was so disappointed, but the manager comped us two free entrées which we just enjoyed immensely. I am surprised that this place is not packed with locals. Don't let the awkward freeway exit off of Biddle keep you away. If you get lost, turn around and go back, because you will discover a casual, but excellent dining experience. The prices are extremely reasonable and we have never been disappointed during the many times we have been here. I just had the ribeye with chimichuri and it was flavorful and fork tender. They have an excellent wine list as well. My wife graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Napa; she and I are So Cal food freaks. We make The Rogue and Chadwicks a destination on our biannual road trips. For the price, this can't be beat. And... For those who say that you pay 5 dollars for breakfast when other hotels give away breakfast... Well, I agree. Super 8 gives you a crappy "continental" breakfast or some kind of buffet. You get a REAL breakfast here. I love the Rogue and the restaurant and would highly recommend you check it out. The hotel has always been very reasonably priced, clean and accommodating. One time, my wife left her laptop computer in the room. We called after realizing it was not in the car. The staff retrieved it for us, held on to it at the counter, and on our way back from Washington, we picked it up untouched. The staff always makes us feel like family here and we appreciate it so much that we return again and again.

I always take potential hiring candidates here for lunch. The food is wonderful and the service is great. The candidates compliment the food which makes a great first impression of the area for a reasonable price. I have also been here for dinner and love the specials. Highly recommend.

Hands-down, worst experience ever. This makes me want to have nothing more than the experience of a server at a sherries or Denny's restaurant. You will not get waited on in a timely fashion, and when you do, they will treat you like second-class citizens. Your meals will come out late and even after speaking to a manager the manager will not apologize nor do anything to help or make it right. Don't waste your time or money.

Wow. Very low expectations for this place, but the food proved otherwise. Came in late to the Comfort Inn so we didn't want to drive anywhere, but this place was next door and we get a 10% discount. First of all reasonable prices and large portions. The side salad that I got with my burger was huge and possibly the best salad I ever had for $1. The burger, while a bit over cooked, was tasty with the perfect condiments and a slightly grilled bun. The burger I was dreaming of! My wife had French onion soup which was also terrific. A very pleasant surprise.
