Super nice and great pasteries
This place is so amazing. The owners is so sweet. The donuts are so delicious. Hands down best donut place in the area!!
Why does this place have such few reviews? The donuts are great, and the owner is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. Plus, she kept throwing extra stuff in the box for my kids. I will certainly be coming back my next time through town!

I usually go for the healthy stuff, but every once in a while, I like to have a random "junk" fill. Not to say that O.J. is junk, but you get what I'm saying. I went there the other night and had a strawberry banana smoothie. I was delicious. Creamy and not overly sweet.

Qzeen Armenian Deli and Cafe

Reviews:
My husband is Jewish so we were eager to try this new spot for lunch seeing as how the cuisine is essentially Mediterranean, which is what Israelis also eat; needless to say, my hubby is particular about this cuisine! We finally got to try it today for lunch. We both ordered falafel sandwiches. It took about 15 minutes to prepare because they make the falafel fresh, and it was SO worth the wait. Delicious falafel and the tahini sauce was fantastic. All plates come with Israeli salad (diced cukes, tomato, and onion with salt and pepper and olive oil) and Qzeen's was quite good, very well seasoned. The plate also came with hummus seasoned properly with paprika and olive oil. The pita bread was a tad too thick, but it was still really good and fresh. It was better than any other pita I have had in a restaurant in Oregon, that's for sure. I cleaned my plate and thoroughly enjoyed it all and told my husband I would come back any time to eat this food. This place is cheap- it's a deli mainly, not much of a restaurant although there are tables and chairs and a menu. Don't go expecting anything fancy. There is literally nothing on the white walls... they hopefully will warm the place up with some decor? That's the main downside. Other than that, this place was excellent and reasonably priced. Sure, you COULD go to Blue on Granite in Ashland and pay $20 for a mediocre, greasy falafel and pita, or you could take a chance on something authentic in the valley and check this place out. If you enjoy Medi food, then this place is worth your while as a different kind of lunch one might normally get in these parts. Oh, and this food is healthy-- can't forget that part! :)
I'm SO glad to see more ethnic food in town. Went in on a limelight deal and it was very good! Went back the next day for lunch. My wife and I had the Shawarma. It is delicious!! It seems many of the Mediterranean cultures have this and they are all a bit different. The Armenian version has a delightful taste and the sauce is the bomb! We will be back. I suggest you give them a try too!
We went to this place out of curiosity. WOW We're middle-eastern food crazed freaks - and we love to cook various dishes from that region - but this food is great. The thing to keep in mind is that Armenian food is unique and some of it is prepared differently than other middle-eastern food dishes. For instance, their felafel comes with salad shirazi and hummus so the flavors are different than other versions but it's very good. Their dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) and dolma special are my favorite. Their Qzeen special sauce is delicious. It's a white sauce with light spices in the background. The Armenian coffee (like Turkish coffee) gave me a RUSH, made my hair stand up on my head, helped me to clean my house, paint my house, dig a well and rob my next-door neighbor for the $1.70 so I could go get another fix o_o. Here's a list of some of the foods that I copied from their Facebook page: Dolma, Tabuleh, Olovia, Falafel, Shirazi Salad, Hummus, and Armenian Coffee. Also, Martedella, Panini, and Broiled Pork Ribs in Qzeen Special Sauce! Below are links to the Mail Tribune's review on Qzeen, and their Facebook page. There are so many Mexican food joints in Southern Oregon, Rarely do you ever find one that stands out. Thats exactly what i found when i stepped into El Arreiro with my girlfriend on a totally random walk in when we were hungry and needed grub. My girlfriend ordered a Chimichanga that was perfectly cooked with delicious filling. I had the Veggie Burrito and I am absolutely addicted to it. The veggies with the sauce they put on all of it together make for an absolute party in your mouth. This place now has moved Mazatlan Grill to the backseat and is now my favorite restaurant in town.
This was my first time to this place, and hopefully not my last. The Yelp reviews brought me here, and I very much agree with the service and decor. The staff was very friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. I speak lastly about the food because I'm getting over a cold, and I have about 20% of my taste right now. My mom very much enjoyed the food though. As a side note, the portions are huge, so bring a big appetite. I also loved the consistently warm chips - it was a very nice touch. I can't go the last star just because it doesn't have that je ne sais quoi that I would expect from a mind-blowing experience, but I really enjoyed my time here.
We came here to check out some Mexican food in OR. Being from Southern California we have some high standards. We ended up just having chips and salsa and margaritas, but the food being served looked pretty authentic and good. We just wanted a bit more a of a 30's atmosphere, not a lively family style place. The weird thing was that even though they served real margaritas, they did not have a bar? We were kind of thrown off by that.

Perfect stop if you're passing through Medford. The biscuits are to die for. I ordered one Zuke & Bell, had to have seconds.
This is the second time I have gone here. It is fantastic. Really good quality coffee, I also picked up some bacon cheddar scones. I love them, I will get some every time I come here. For breakfast we had biscuits and gravy. I wasn't terribly fond of the gravy, but the biscuit was perfect and my husband loved the gravy, so it might have just been me. The service is also great and the people are friendly. I love that they use fresh, local ingredients. Even the honey was fantastic.
Best breakfast sandwich ever. Delicious French press coffee. Was just driving through Medford when we chanced upon this place. Loved the food and the staff. Such a lovely place.

The Gypsy Blues

This place has the most beers on tap of anywhere in the Rogue Valley, including four on nitro. It is a laid back "locals" style place where you can usually meet one of the owners, Clay and Robin. It feels almost dive bar-ish but is cleaner and nicer. It's definitely a nice place to get a pint, and with a full bar and decent bar food, there's something for everyone. This place has a "well kept secret" feel to it. If you're having a night out in Medford this place is definitely worth a visit.
With a ton of beers on tap, knowledgeable staff, and good bar food the Gypsy is our favorite little bar in Medford.
31 great beers on tap and a ton more in bottle. Definitely recommend this place for the beer lover. The atmosphere is kind of quirky but not bad. Friendly staff.

I'm always on the look out for a good sandwich in town that is locally owned and independent, so I stopped by Wamba Juice today for a bite and was happy with the whole experience. I ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and it was easily one of the better sandwiches I've had in awhile. Real, thick, sliced turkey. Two burly slabs of bacon and lots of avocado. It sat tall in the basket and was a weighty beast. The space was nice, with a motley mixture of tables, chairs, cheeky signs & antiques, plenty of natural lighting and finally some plants for good measure. Friendly people working behind the counter is the final positive mark for this place. Seriously, skip subway and get a real sandwich here for the same price, you won't regret it.
An excellent selection soups, sandwiches and smoothies make this a great place to visit. There are lots of menu items, but the emphasis is on "choose your own ingredient items. Recommended.
Smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, soft pretzels. So much yummy food! There is nothing that I've ordered that I do not like and I stop in several times a week because I work across the street. That staff are very friendly and have even delivered to our office before!

Luigi’s Italian Sandwiches

1619 N Riverside Ave

Reviews:
Stopped by on the way home to SoCal. Tiny place, limited seating and steady stream of customers. Really good pastrami sandwiches, Pastrami was very lean, bread tasted homemade. Service was quick and very friendly. Recommend you try this place for a great sandwich that isn't pre made or re-warmed. A+++++
This place is a rare little gem in southern Oregon that makes me nostalgic for the East coast: real food, unpretentious ingredients, and good prices. It isn't fair for me to give a thorough food review, because I don't eat red meat BUT the turkey grinder was delicious. So many onions, pickles, peppers, mushrooms, and thick gooey cheese. All those chain deli-sandwich shops have all managed to taste the same so if it's a real sandwich you are wanting: go here. They bake the sandwiches on a tray that looks like it's been around since they opened decades ago---with a thick crust of burnt, black chard goodness. For some this may turn them off, but I say bring it on because I know all the flavor rests in that never-before-washed antique pan. I will be returning soon, Luigi's! PS...How has this place not been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Drives?
Fun guys running this place...super friendly family vibe. They work hard to make a mean sandwich....very unique and very delicious. Think warm-oven grinders with a unique sauce and portions of fresh goodies to die for--they don't skimp. Go for it...it's a Medford tradition!
