In my quest for a decent salad I had completely forgotten about sizzler, I had not been to one since I was a kid. We went for lunch at about 1:30, there was no line to order and plenty of seating. We both ordered salad bars, and I was really impressed, everything was so fresh, they had a great variety, the waitress brought some of the best warm rolls I have ever had, and I finally got a salad in Oregon that was fantastic :) The sides looked ok, although I didn't personally try one. My only complaint is that we were charged for dinner, I would have thought 1:30 would be lunch still, but as my friend pointed out, we were the only ones under 70, so it probably was dinner to most of the customers, and I was so pleased with the food and service I didn't even bother to complain.

The salad bar is very good. For 14.00 u can have the combo which includes the endless salad bar. I had the Burgundy steak with rice and mushrooms. This dish however was extremely salty and the steak was very chewy. What they need to do is take off the rice and have noodles instead. And taste the sauce and make sure it's not salty.

Sometimes Sizzler has great coupons that draw us in for a meal. The salad bar is very good with a large selection of foods, including such "junk" foods as onion rings. The deserts are edible. I ordered the malibu chicken with baked potato. Sizzler bakes potatoes in aluminum foil, a highly toxic metal. I usually very carefully remove it before eating the potato but this time missed a piece of foil that I nearly ate. I won;t order baked potato there again. Unless you are an executive of Reynolds Aluminum, you should avoid foods cooked in foil.

Just took a friend visiting from out of the country to the Sizzler in Medford. I was embarrassed. The food looked old and discolored as well as missing items. The ice cream bar was a mess. Sprinkles and cookies everywhere and the cones were all broken. We ordered shrimp skewers that were under cooked. The floors were dirty. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was very friendly. This place needs a good clean!

Not the best sizzler I've been too. But it's pretty tasty. They don't have the rolls with honey-butter here. And they only toast the cheesy bread on one side, unless you ask for both. The salad bar (and restaurant in general) are pretty small. With that said, the food has been good and the service has been good, it's just not the best sizzler I've been too, but we will still keep going back :)

Just passing through from trip to California. We were seated quickly by friendly staff, somewhat subdued atmosphere, and spacious seating area. Food was mediocre, not bad or good. Salad was little pricey for $10 as I'm used to more selections for that price. Steak had much fat on it as well and not as flavorful. Overall good for pit stop for a restful moment and customer service was very good. But food makes it a average experience.

After remodeling this particular Sizzler, their food remains of the highest quality.

We drove through Medford on the way to San Francisco this winter and decided to hit the Sizzler for the all you can eat salad bar. We tried the salad bar at another Sizzler location last year and liked it. This salad bar was pretty bad. Smaller selection, not so fresh ingredients...even the salad in the salad bar was sub par! I can't comment on the rest of the menu items as we did not try anything else. For the price of the all you can eat, you would hope that you would want to eat as much as you can eat. We tried one of most items, but couldn't eat more than a few bites. We do have a place in our heart for Medford as we've had many stops through on the way down to California in the last 10 years. We will just make sure we don't hit this location again in the future for the salad bar.

In the past, sizzler has always been a great experience. However, the most two recent experiences has been less than excellent. The food has downgraded in the past few years, the onion rings are over cooked, the fish is raw, and the chicken is dry. The dessert bar is boring and very few selections. They have gone away with the dinner roles and instead offer a cheese bread that is only toasted on one side. The prices have increased, but serving size has decreased. However, the staff is always pleasant and professional.

Okay good. Always have a stomach ache afterwards. An expensive taco bell. But i always go anyways because the family likes it. But today marks the last time my family goes to sizzler. While at this medford location the employee KELLY ruined it for us. I asked Kelly if she would change the football game to the Packers vs Bengals game and she said they can't. I asked her if the tv had buttons to change it and was told that they could but won't right now.. Bad bad move Kelly. Customer lost

I am surprised to give this place 4 stars...it's sizzler after all. But it was actually good. I got salmon that was well cooked, I've spent over twice as much at other restaurants for salmon that was really poorly cooked. My kids liked their steaks, my husband liked his dinner, and all for about $50. Not bad at all!

Salad bar is the best in town...VERY FRESH and constant rotation of new items, soup is good. The rolls are to die for, incredible tasting!! great pricing, the remodel does this place a huge favor from the old days.(not that it was bad before) just really nice now. The taco bar has some great toppings but the meat is a bit to greasy for me. Overall a great price and superb staff (they really are top notch servers and cashiers)

The food is decent. The salad bar is good and has a variety of things to choose from. They recently remodeled, so its a nice and clean and great hang out place to go for lunch. Bathrooms are clean...at least when I went in there to wash my hands. The servers are not bad. Sometimes we luck out and get a waitress/waiter that brushes us off and only comes around when my husband waves him down, and i personally don't like when we have to do that.

Have not been to Sizzler for over 30 years (that was in Fresno, CA). We decided to give it a try. WOW, I was amazed at how clean it was and the choices. The staff was great (all except one lady standing behind the register gabbing on the phone for it looked like an hour or so ... I think she was the manager?). We will be going back. Great menu choices, great salad bar choices ... I also liked that when we were there a young lady was taking the temperature of the salad fixins and logging them... this shows me they care about what they serve and want their clients to be healthy and come back time and time again. Beats the heck out of Elmers and Applebees.

It's Sizzler. They've remodeled this location in the last few years, so we figured we'd give it a shot. I don't know exactly how, but the entrees were strangely reminiscent of the food I used to eat in the cafeteria when working at a hospital. If you're going for the salad bar (which is fairly decent, and seems to be one of their big appeals), don't bother with a 50-cent upgrade to one of the basic entrees. Post-remodel, this location looks good, sporting a sanitary theme of tan textures, wide halogen lighting and framed stock pictures of generic happy people eating watermelon outside or looking at flowers. It's design distilled to a scheme that will appeal to the widest possible demographic. We're a steakhouse but we're affordable and accessible. We want you to feel like your food was cooked over flames. Look at the picture of the happy kid with the jaunty hat. It amuses me that the fat-guy corner of the buffet still exists as it did before, a repository of onion rings, meatballs and oddly breaded wings, all in trays spread in the ungodly glow of the heat lamps. It just is what it is. Normally this would be a two-star type of situation, but since I was really hungry and my perceptions were thus altered, it gets a three. There's also a TV or three that play Sizzler-specific content of some kind. I don't know because I wasn't really paying attention.

i used to go to sizzler years ago, but just quit going in the late 90's. i went there with the family a few weeks ago and was not impressed the first time with their fast food style checkout line. but the food was decent and waitstaff were prompt and courteous. i have been back twice since then and have to say overall its an ok place for a carnivore ive had steak and shrimp which was good, and tonight had a double malibu chicken with salad bar which also has lots of other things besides salad! hot and cold sides and dessert bar. my wife and i with one child spent around $35 there to eat tonight.

the remodel is complete and has really made a difference in the atmosphere ... very comfortable dining ... feels larger and more open ... the senior menu is terrific ... and so too the food
