Sadly I've been underwhelmed after a dozen or more tries (one can hope they'll get better) at the new location. I've eaten Panda Express at multiple location in multiple states and the one closest to my home simply sucks. The food handed out through the drive through-thru seams to have been pulled from the bottom of the wok, often dried out and lacking in quantity as opposed the larger portions served if you take the time to go in. Unfortunately that doesn't help much as the new hot table "woks" are often at the last of their food too. My hope is that the general manager will pay attention tot he Yelp reviews and get his staff up to speed. :(

Worst drive thru service ever. Probably won't be returning. Kinda bummed to, I like their food.

I used to goto Panda express all the time before moving up here 5 years ago. Got excited when it was being built, turned out to be the worst one I've ever been in.

Typical Panda Express food but this location has a drive through window. When we first visited the newly opened fast food outlet in November, it was very busy and the cars in the drive thru line extended into the street. Today at 1 pm, we were he only ones in line and the service was fast.

I agree with others that Medford has not one decent Chinese restaurant! But Panda Express deserves mention here. I have commented directly to PandaExpress several times informing them of my dissatisfaction with their bland menu items. No matter what item you choose, there is little difference in taste. Tonight's experience at the Center Drive location was dreadful. Four entree items were unavailable. We expressed concern over the lack of choices and were told that, if we wanted those, the staffer would check to see how quickly they could be made. Once made, the staffer then quickly placed the WRONG item on one of two orders. I was asked if I wanted sweet/sour sauce for an egg roll and then told they had no little containers but could place a small amount in a medium sized drink cup?????!!!!!Thumbs down to Panda at BOTH Medford locations.

Food is fine. Service is lousy. Employees are slow and more interested in having a good time with each other than getting napkins and utensils for patrons

I pre ordered the family meal online and when i showed up to pick it up I was met with very poor service. 3 employees stood around talking while I stood at the counter for several minutes before a cook finally asked if I had an order. Got home and pulled out the egg roll and it was almost black, I can't believe they actually sent that home with us. They need a new staff!

I realize that this is a fast food restaurant so I don't expect to receive any special treatment or upscale food when I visit a Panda; however this Panda was a lukewarm mess...notice I did not say HOT mess. We pulled up to the drive thru and the speaker asked me if I wanted to try the new spare ribs, I said yes and she asked me if I wanted a three entree plate...yes again. I told her I wanted all chow mein and walnut shrimp. She then told me I needed to wait for a minute. So I sat in the drive thru for about ten minutes and the girl comes back on the speaker and asks "what can I get for you today? " My husband told her we were in the middle of our order when SHE told us to wait. "Oh okay". I said spring rolls and kung pao chicken would complete the order, but could she please add teriyaki/mandarin sauce. Ok. Then I noticed my spare ribs were not listed on the order..."you'll get them". We paid and drove back around the corner to our hotel (literally three minutes away). I opened my bag (my fault for not checking there) and I had no napkins, no fork to eat with, 1/2 a serving of chow mein instead of a whole one, and sweet and sour sauce. To top it off my food was cold. Save yourself the trouble of eating chow mein with your hands and go somewhere else because this place sucks.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
