I've been coming here for years. The food is fresh, you pick what you want and put it in your own bowl, add your own sauces, and then they cook it for you while you watch. It's simple, but healthier than most other asian restaurants. Never crowded. Good for low-carb dieting.

Service is great and we never waited for drink refills. Selections of ingredients is many and it it tough to decided. What makes it great is that each time you can be different and experience new flavors. Sometimes the cooks loose some of your goodies over the edge during cooking :-( Different bowl sizes equal different cost and if you overfill your bowl sometimes they charge up...sometimes not.

Like a beaten bag of Ramen this noodle shed known as Mongolian BBQ sits in a parking lot limping along to serve a hot bowl of sheet-meat swimming in sauce. If this sounds like a Charlie Sheen #winning cuisine you may need stay true to the dollar menu. An experience nonetheless, it was the island of misfit all-you-can-stuff noodle bowls. Digs: We opened the doors to a barren row of tables segregated by a massive rounded hot plate; two timid operators? chefs? landscapers? equipped with two rakes circulated our chosen assortments; around and around they flung the pile of edibles on the blackened stove top; behind this sizzling monster was a buffet counter stretching out with options that would make Sizzler cry; the majority of the veggie toppings were not labeled; a meat selection of chicken, beef and pork were literally paper thin (not appetizing); the counter was so deep you could easily miss their 10-20 difference sauces due to the glass awning; Ate: Medium sized bowl (assorted veggies, scant beef meat-sheets, noodles) - edible; they were oil happy in the Medford Mongolian jungle; I went lower then their 10-scoops of sauce recommendation which worked out well; hot-plate bros even asked if we want more Mongolian sauce after you've doused it 10 times over; Service: A one woman show refilled our waters and addressed us once which was nothing surprising based on the environment and their Mongolian clientele; Overall: An ancient Buddhist proverb once said, "scoop the sauce 10 times and you're just playing with yourself...or your cardiac arrest". Loading up at the Mongolian BBQ is not worth your wallet. You can easily replicate this low-level dinner in the convenience of your own kitchen. I have a sneaky suspicion Mongolia does not condone this kind of behavior.

I have to say... I was pretty impressed. First off... watch out, there are TWO SIZED BOWLS. None of us noticed that. My wife and friend got the small bowl, not knowing there was bigger, I got the huge bowl not know there was smaller. The small bowl is $7.95 at lunch at the large bowl is $11.95... and I didn't even eat all mine it was so big, I wish I had saw the smaller bowl. I have to admit, I have had better prices. Back home for about $7.50 you got your bowl, rice, wonton, spring roll and soup at lunch time. But with that said, this place has a HUGE selection of ingredients. It was definitely the best tasting Mongolia I have had. Will definitely head back there!

After being on the road for ten days I was craving fresh veggies! There is a decent selection of veg and the standard meats and the price point is reasonable. A great Asian stir fry and a cold Corona hit the spot!

This is the first time I have been back here in years and it will be the last. We got to the restaurant at 8:45 PM on a Wednesday Night, first impression what a filthy mess. If someone from the heath department would have been there, it would have been shut down immediately, still wondering why we did not walk out. First of all what we found odd was that the restaurant was run by Mexicans, not by Asian's which I did not expect with the name "Mongolian Grill". Although that is just an after thought. Our first impression was blah, comparable to eating inside of a bus station anywhere USA. This restaurant has no charm or character, in fact no personality whatsoever. We were seated, our drink order taken and we were off to the Buffet Bar to make our food. Now it is important to point out that the waitress dropped of our drinks and that is the last time she spoke to us. We were never given water or asked if we wanted another beer or additional ice tea. We sat with empty drinks for the half the time we were there. The Buffet Bar where you choose what you want in your grilled meal, looked like some ones idea of a bad joke. Food was slopped everywhere, including the floor. Most item bins hand the food tongs laying in the food, meaning you had to put your hands in the food to retrieve the tongs. The noodle bin had noodles all over counter and hanging onto other food bins. Then there was the sauce station, sticky sauce covered the counter and was even dripping on the floor. Final touches were when an employee brought out a filthy mop bucket (grey water) and proceeded to mop around us. Last time here..

The moment the chef cleaned the grill before cooking my food, I became a fan. This was several years ago and I still appreciate the fine service. As a vegetarian I find it challenging to find places my omnivore husband and I both enjoy but Mongolian BBQ fits the need. I enjoy the choice of fresh veggies. I'm not an adventurous diner, but figure if I don't like what I end up with (hasn't happened yet), it's my own fault. The one suggestion I would have is for the meat selections to be somehow more separated from the veggies as there are often little bits of other things that have ended up into bins in which they don't belong.

I love this place - the food is great, with lots of veggies, meats and sauces to choose from. The staff is friendly and everything is very clean and bright in the dining room. Mongolian BBQ is great because you are in charge of how the food is spiced - you can add various sauces to your meal so it is just the way you like it. If you are new to Mongolian BBQ or you're not sure what to try, they have a list of suggestions of different sauce combinations to add that you can try or ask the chef for more suggestions. The best thing is that it is so quick, you can walk in and be eating your food in 5 minutes.

Fast, Fresh & Tasty! Good food for a quick and healthy meal, and you personally see and select everything that goes in. I like it for lunch.

I am not a big asian food fan, but I don't mind this from time to time. My daughters LOVE it. Very healthy option, that is for sure. You custom build your "stir fry" which is done right in front of you. Fun! Try the different sauce combinations!

I would not recomend this place . They water down there sauces and are very bland . I have eaten at many mongolian grills and this one by far is at the most very dissapointing. I would not go back nor would I recomend it .

What a fascinating place! I had never had Mongolian BBQ before so I was only following what Thanh and Hiep were doing and just gathering stuff that I liked and putting it in my bowl. In retrospect, I should have gotten more noodles. So you put all of your ingredients into your giant bowl and there's this guy (the cooker) at the end of the buffet table in an open grill. You give your bowl to the guy and he asks if you'd like teriyaki sauce in with the cooking. He then throws the contents of the bowl onto the open grill and tosses everything while squirting some sauces onto the noodles while it cooks. It's interesting. In addition to the noodles dish, you can get a small bowl of rice to add with it. Good meal for $12 a person.

Really not that good, I'd rather go to Ashland and have Mongo Grill. Better sauces, more flavor. This place just doesn't have much going for it that makes me want to go back, which is surprising because it's owned by the same owners of Zoey's Cafe in Ashland.

We eat here regularly. A medium bowl will give you two very big meals...great deal and lots of leftovers.
