Have to say we were surprised that the food at this place was't terrible! We ordered the beef skewers and the chicken satay both w/cucumber salad and white rice. The meat and sauces were great, salad was pretty good but really small portion (about 1/4 cup) but the rice seemed liked warmed over minute rice. The price is what killed it for us. For about $9 each, we paid as much as we would have from Bambu's lunch menu or any good thai place in town. Also bothered that there wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom....?!? Save your money and go somewhere else.

Oh, Yelpy yelp yelp.....WHY did I not consult with you before I ate here?? While the staff was pleasant, and almost bubbly, at 12:10 pm, the place was nearly empty (2 tables), other tables were un-bussed, and ultimately, the food was indeed a bit bland. i ordered the Pad Thai, a dish with which I'm rarely disappointed, but this one was bland at best. Steer clear. Lots of other Asian places nearby on Yelp.

After waiting for 30 minutes got a plate containing four bites of horrible food. Such a terrible establishment it is not even worth the time for a thorough review. Absolutley terrible. I want my 12 dollars back.

Very disappointed. Pad thai was very salty, chicken was ground chicken which was grainey. Noodles were not typical wide noodles, they were very thin. Teriyaki chicken had no sauce on it and wad a little dry. Over priced, $8.50 is too much for one skewer of dry chicken and some rice. Will not be going back.

This place is really dreadful. Food is very ordinary, and better can be had in your grocer's frozen food section! Pricey too, considering it is a fast food counter type operation.

I eat here every time I'm in Medford, or driving by on I-5. It is easy to find at the corner of McAndrews and Biddle. The food is SO great! They have great sauces for the fish dishes, they use Cilantro liberally, I have a HUGE weakness for Cilantro. The place is very casual and the have all the basics for a good meal. Fat Tire is the beer I chose but I bet they have others... Yelp asks what I want for my last meal? The Tiger Rolls from this place qualify....They would have to be at the top of my list.... GO GO GO

Amazing Veggie choice of all their regular menu. Had Thai curry and Pad Thai for a late lunch and both were equally delicious. Best thing we notices as waited for the food that Chef made everything literally from scratch. It could get tricky at their busiest time.

Place sucks. Terrible service and a rest area might serve better food. Nothing special and it'll make you mad. Find elsewhere and thank me later.

Ok, so I know what the problem with Asian Grill is. You walk in and it looks pretty cool--nice vibe, good bistro options on the menu, cozy wine bar...and you think "cool, this is going to be really good." And then you order the food. The tiger rolls are a definitely non-Asian concoction of lava-hot cream cheese, (imitation) crab and crunchy shell. It's hot and yummy and you get excited for your meal. The meal comes and it's very nicely presented. The Pad Thai has round noodles instead of flat and lots of crunchy mung bean sprouts. The chicken satay has huge chunks of chicken on the stick smothered in peanut sauce, and the garlic chicken is a huge chunk of chicken leg plus. You were able to watch them prepare the food in the central kitchen and are ready for heaven in your mouth. Then you start eating. The Pad Thai is salty, and lacks the lime/tamarind taste you expect. The round noodles aren't quite as good, and it's just a little dry. The peanut sauce is pretty good on the satay, but the chicken--nice white meat--is dry, too. The orange beef is sometimes fabulous--tender, yummy and just enough sauce. But sometimes it's over cooked, sparse and skinny on the sauce. And so you end up eating all your food and leaving slightly dissatisfied because it just seemed so promising and then just fell short of the mark. The staff is friendly and the food is sometimes wonderful so you try again, but really it doesn't quite deliver. (Ok, but they really do a good job catering but that's another review)

Pleasantly surprised. My son and I went here for a quiet night out. Reasonable prices, friendly waitperson, nice, quiet atmosphere. The food was pretty good. It rates better than Asian fast food, but not quite fine dining. My only gripes was a bit of a long wait considering that there were not that busy, and the very watered down chile sauce. All-in-all nice place to eat.

The one healthy place near airport! Loved their steamed and grilled salmon - perfectly done! And the steamed veggies - better than even the fancy restaurants! And healthy 'cause not a lot of sauces as well as dairy and gluten free friendly! Nice staff - good service! Definitely will be back next time!

I used to visit this place all the time...for years! In my most recent visits, I have found that they have cut their quantity of food on the plates and raised their prices. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken combo. The price was over $10. I asked for no rice and extra salad. The charged me $.50 extra. When I got my plate there was hardly any salad and a stick of chicken. They forgot to deliver my tiger roll and my guest didn't even get what they ordered. We ordered a bowl of soup for about $9 and it was SOOOOOO TINY!! Maybe 1 1/2 cups of actual soup. By the time we left we felt extremely ripped off and still hungry. I tried this place again a few days later and the same thing happened, large price, hardly any food. This place has lost me as a client, I will not return.

My wife loved her meal. I thought my mahi-mahi was bland. Food presentation was excellent! I only wish that the food all tasted the way it looked. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We thought the price was right, not overpriced at all. The selection was broad, and perhaps I should have ordered something else. I would go back just to try something else.

Bottom line small potions and over priced. Food is fresh but incredibly simple. The cook is a character with an interesting sense of humor.

This place is wonderful! I had teriyaki beef with rice and grilled veggies and a tiger roll. I loved everything and will definitely come back.

We often eat here and the quality of the food is constantly good, though it sometimes varies a little with which cook is on duty. I usually order the salmon and the wife gets pad tai or orange chicken. The portions are right-sized for those who don't want to take left-overs. The sauces are good and not poured on to drown all other flavors. Sometimes the steamed veggies are a little over cooked. A good place for a quick meal. You order at the counter, get your own drinks and silverware (sometimes the waitress bring it or it is already on the table) and the food is brought to your table. May 2013. We returned here after several weeks absence and found the portions of meat/fish smaller but the price the same. The steamed vegetables were not ready until I had nearly finished by mea. Not good changes--one star deducted.

We've been sitting at our table now for almost 20 min. The cook has FINALLY started doing something. Is it our food? Who knows!

I just ate here for the first time today and it was great! I got the spicy basil salmon with a cucumber salad. I was very pleased with my choice. It was delicious! Small portion size but filled me up perfectly. I will definitely eat here again! Yum!

Asian Grill? Are you serious? More like Caucasian Grill. Maybe even Cock Grill, as I don't think the word "Asian" deserves to be in the name at all. This place is an insult to my third generation-Americanized Japanese/Chinese ass. Just like the Rape of Nanking, "Asian" Grill is the Rape of Asian Culture Everywhere. The place itself is pretty nice. The location is good. The food however, is not, by any stretch of the imagination. Everything is "healthy" and by "healthy" I mean bland and tasteless. I ordered the garlic chicken. It came with a pretty big salad (with a little bit of balsamic vinegar on it, and that's it.) and two scoops of rice. The Jasmine rice was the most poorly prepared rice I have ever tasted. It was hard, undercooked and flaked apart. I can tell no Asian person made this shit! My chicken looked like a quarter of a rotisserie chicken, and it pretty much tasted like that. There was a light glaze on it and absolutely no hint of garlic. Sorry, but when I order garlic, I expect that no-second-date-garlic-breath when I finish. Needless to say, I didn't get that here. If I keep it up, I'll be onto 3rd dates, 10th dates, and eventually married with kids and a minivan, and who wants that. My mom got the orange sesame chicken. It was not orange at all and it tasted just like mine, except the chicken was cut up and there were sesame seeds on it. We also ordered sides of the tiger roll and chicken spring roll. The chicken spring roll was kind of a curry type thing and the tiger roll was more cream cheese. They were both good, but each order costs $2.25 and you only get one roll per order. Fucking biggest rip-off ever. Basically, think of it as over $1 for a half of a regular-sized roll. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat where white people make a sorry attempt to make "exotic" food, this place is what you're looking for. If you're actually looking for "Asian" food, even Panda Express would be better.

The absolute WORST restaurant I've eaten at in Medford. A horrible value in the areas of flavor, variety, service, and pricing. Below 1 Star rating overall. Complete ripoff - top to bottom. Will never go back.

We used to enjoy this place 5 years ago. Ourother favorite teriyaki places were super busy so we gave it a try on a whim and quickly realized why they were slow. The staff is excellent and really shouldnt be subjected to serving such a mediocre product. We had sesame orange chicken and chicken sate. The chicken was totally overcooked and dried out, undersauced and basically flavorless. Just very sad to see a place that has a marquee location, good staff and a cool vibe, not have the ability to cook chicken, come on people! We won't be back I'm afraid.

Talk about unimpressive. I still come to Medford Oregon at least 1-3 times a year and my wife and I decided to try this place. So today is December 26, and it is around 50 degrees, and there were at least 4 flies buzzing INSIDE this joint. You walk up to the counter and order your item. The woman who handled our transaction handled money, the later added garnish to our plates. Clearly they don't care about being too clean here. I ordered a Salmon plus teriyaki and jasmine rice and a salad. I got white rice, with a passable Salmon, but the teriyaki was very thin and had very little flavor. My wife had "jasmine rice" and crispy fish, but it wasn't too flavorful. This is was NOT an Asian grill in the traditional sense. More like wanna-be-Asian grill. Then again, this is Medford Oregon, which is not really the center of ethnic diversity. This is not the Asian cuisine you are looking for. They get 2 stars because they had root beer on tap, and I have a soft spot for root beer.
