Two words: Chipotle Turkey. Soooo good. The pumpkin bagels are off the heezy too. Ahuva employees are friendly and warm when it's cold outside! Love this place.

I'm normally not much of a bagel fan, to be honest, usually if I'm getting something round with a hole in the middle, it's got chocolate on top with sprinkles! But I know my wife loves them so I stopped by for her birthday breakfast and fell in love! I don't understand what the previous poster had a problem with, the place was clean, the selection was ridiculously awesome; jalapeno cheddar, apple cinnamon, whole wheat, multigrain, cheddar, white,... the list goes on! The topping were fantastic and plentiful! The strawberry cream cheese is great, but what takes the cake is the Adam's peanut butter and honey... try that on Apple cinnamon and it's heaven! The employees/owners are really nice guys, I've sparked conversations with them quite a few times, and they know what kind of coffee I want right when I walk in! The coffee is mellello, not my fave, but it'll do! Bagel Sandwiches are great, it all hits the spot... I frequent there at least once a week now, I love it! Agreed, there's no wifi, but honestly, it's not a deal breaker, I can live! Great food, great people...

I recently visited Ahuva Bagel with my boyfriend for a quick morning breakfast. Even though this has nothing to do with the actual restaurant, the people in front of us took forever to order and I was seconds from walking out. There were easily 6 people behind the counter standing around, someone could have taken our order and started on the bagels while the people in front of us continued to think about what they wanted. Once we got up to the counter the cashier was loud and annoying and didn't know what she was doing. Although we were quite prepared at this point, knew exactly what we wanted with CASH in hand, she still seemed disoriented and ditsy. Which is annoying, first thing in the morning, before one has had their coffee. The bagels were hard and over-boiled. The "crust" was so thick, it hurt our teeth to bite into them. The cream cheese/jam ratio was all off, there was way too much jam on my bagel and it was quite artificial tasting. My boyfriends bagel, egg and cheese, was bland and missing something. The coffee was also bland and when asked to leave room for cream, she left barely any and I couldn't drink my coffee the way I enjoy it. The overall look of the restaurant was empty and cold, the floor was filthy, JUST FILTHY, and considering how many people were standing around, there were dirty dishes everywhere and the trashcan was overflowing. I will never, EVER, return to this place because while Medford is very limited, there are far better breakfast and bagel shops around.

Yummy bagels. The apple cinnamon ones are the best.

I love Ahuva Bagel Co. I hardly ever get to go there but when I do, I consider it a treat. They have a great selection of bagels and their hot chocolate was piping hot. Employees are very friendly. Great place to grab a bite to eat for breakfast on the go.

I really, really, really wanted to like this place, as there's precious few bagel options in Medford. After finally trying Ahuva, I think I'll stick with Safeway bagels unless I'm heading into Jacksonville or Ashland. Good grief. Way overboiled bagels. So much so it was like biting into a mound of rubber. Pretty weak on the taste too. I picked up a three cheese bagel, and the cheeses were baked into a hard shell on top of the bagel, as opposed to being soft and blending into the bagel itself. Hugely disappointing, but then again, this is Medford. It's the same sort of thing everyone gets used to because they don't know any better. Oh well.

These are the best bagels in Southern Oregon. I am from New York and these are genuine New York bagels. Those who think they are too chewy obviously were raised on Safeway bagels. If you don't know anything about bagels, you shouldn't be rating them.

New to the area and this was a great find! I had the Mediterranean open faced sandwich and it was wonderful. The service was also great. Very friendly and quick.

I was so happy to discover this bagel place a year ago after constantly craving the delicious bagels at Los Bagels in Northern California but not being able to get them as often as I craved them. These bagels are just as amazing, and in fact the slugs are even better. I haven't tried any of their sandwich items as I always get bagels to go and toast them at home. The bagels are always fresh, chewy and delicious just the way a true bagel should be. The service is always top notch and very friendly and all the staff seems like they are actually enjoying their job. The one time we have come in and visited and they were out of most of their bagels they gave us a coupon for a free bagel next time. Don't forget to start a punch card so you can earn free bagels :)

I come here once every couple of weeks or so to pick up a half-dozen bagels for home. That being said, my review is mostly for the quality of the bagels, rather than the other menu items (which I have yet to try). Excellent bagels. For those of you who are unaware of the difference, the bagels here are of a more traditional variety -- boiled and then baked, resulting in a chewier crust than those usually found in supermarkets and other bagel places. It might be a matter of preference, but I think these are far better than the soft unboiled variety. I grew up eating Los Bagels in Arcata, CA; if you've ever been there, you'll know what I'm talking about. The location and environment isn't bad but could be improved. It seems a little stark and boring as-is, but I like that most of the kitchen area is open. They're also the only place I can find Larrupin Mustard Dill sauce outside of Humboldt, which is really cool since now I don't have to stock up when I'm down there. Stop by and pick up a half-dozen, or get a toasted garlic bagel with cream cheese, Larrupin and red onions. Oh yeah. Just be sure to show up before noon on weekdays if you're getting more than a few since they tend to run out.

Don't just order your regular bagel! Read the menu! It has many unique choiches. The lox sandwitch is excellent. The bagels are not too big, but made well. A sidenote, the women's bathroom is sparkling clean and has a diaper changer, wet wipes and everything a woman needs. Awesome!!!

I consider myself quite the bagel afficianado, and when Ahuva opened a few years ago, I was both excited and skeptical. However, having had a lot of bagels in my day, I have to say that these guys really have their recipe down. There is nothing like a fresh warm bagel where the outside is nice a crisp and the inside is soft but not doughy. My favorites are the classic onion with lox and the onion with fresh tomatoes, although their bagel sandwiches are a good lunch option. It can get busy in the morning, but everyone is hustling and the orders come out pretty quick, espresso is well made too, never cooked or overextracted. Friendly staff, outstanding bagels. Medford is lucky to have this establishment.

Recently when I go in it's hit or miss. Sometimes (depending on who you get) they're really friendly and sometimes there's the one or two other ladies who don't smile or look very friendly and just ask for your order, no small talk. The new location is great but it feel kinda cold and unwelcoming, even with that couch hidden in the back of the room for the customers. Also... pleassseeeee don't automatically toast my bagel. This is huge for me. If it's fresh I want it fresh, not toasted. At least ask me before you just do it please.. Just remembered another thing from the 2nd to last time I went in, the menu states "open sandwich" which I ordered and it was closed- this is sad and I feel rips me off as well by giving me half the amount of goodies as promised.

In a search for a good bagel place in southern Oregon, Ahuva is a good find. Couldn't find anything in Grant's Pass and didn't want to wait till Ashland. Ahuva had nice service, food came out fast and tasted good. I had a garlic bagel with egg, provolone, and herb cream cheese. My wife had a salt bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese, both toasted. Totalled $4.49. Big place for a bagel shop, lots of seating available. We'll remember his the next time we're in southern Oregon.

I really wanted to give it a 3 stars, but I just can't. Negatives: 1. The guy behind the counter (owner?) wasn't too friendly, just didn't make me feel welcome. 2. He totally looks like someone who doesn't wash his hands too often, and he didn't use gloves AT ALL! while making my bagel - on any of the ingredients. Kind of gross... 3. I got a cup of coffee and it was more cold than warm. he asked me if he should make me a hot cup instead (or heat up the one he gave me?)...I know it was closer to lunch than breakfast, but you don't just have cold coffee sitting out there - come up with a way to keep it hot! 4. Nothing special about the selection of things there - pesto cream cheese bagel...yep, it sounds good, but it really is: pesto, cream cheese (probably bought from Albertson's next door). 5. Not that this is important, but there is no seating outside and no WiFi. Positives: 1. They use fresh herbs on their bagels - they literally have a little herb garden and get your basil leaves right off the growing plant. That part is actually pretty cool.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. I came in around breakfast time and I ordered a Garlic Bagel with Egg, Swiss and Sprouts. As I was sitting and waiting. I noticed that they were cooking eggs in the microwave. That is absolutely rediculous. The overall taste of the bagel was decent but nothing too special... Could not taste much garlic. The egg tasted very bland.

The comparisons to Los Bagels in Eureka are right. The lox & cream cheese on a slug was great! Best spot I've found so far in Medford and I look forward to going back. I hated to take away a star but our coffees were barely warm and I see that this is something that has been mentioned before. Fix it for a five! NOTE: The address listed on Yelp is right but the map is wrong!! Enter that address into a good map app to find it!!

I still go to ahuva because I love the veggie delite. After my review I've only gone in about 6 more times and only my most recent visit was I greeted with smiles and the two girls were nice and helpful with their suggestions. After the review I have a feeling the owner was upset about my review and just had this look on her eyes. I mean if you want me to report a nice experience I will when I have one. Yes, of course I work with the public as well and anytime that a Customer is not satisfied with my service I will make sure that all of their future service is the best I can provide. Yes I got a free meal from your store but I'd rather have a welcoming feeling than what I have experienced from you and your staff.

I've been here twice, the first time I got the everything bagel with cream cheese which is typically my favorite. I think this place had the best tasting everything I've ever had, lots of flavor. The second time I went in around noon and they were out of the everything bagels so I got garlic, also very good. Nice staff too :)

I had the veggie with egg breakfast bagel on a spinach and parmesan bagel and some orange juice and it was delicious. These are small bagels but crispy on the outside and tender on the inside like a bagel.

I just realized I have not yet reviewed Ahuva. I have eaten here nearly every trip to Medford over the last few years. I was so surprised the first time to find such good NY style bagels out here in Southern Oregon. They make them fresh, on the premises. They make good bagel sandwiches and their lox is fresh and good quality salmon that is very tender. I especially like the whole wheat raisin bagels with walnut cream cheese as a lighter snack. They have a nicely balanced selection of mostly traditional bagel flavors and several home made flavored cream cheeses. They also have traditional sides and chips and a variety of drinks. The owners work right in the shop, they are very friendly and always attentive. They do a lot of take out orders, but they do have a simple eat in area too. Parking is easy in this strip mall near a major intersection on the north end of town. For an east coast raised visitor like me, it is great to find this option out here.

Love this place. If you have ever been to Los Bagels in Humboldt, this is a perfect methadone. Love the slugs. Larrupin mustard is available by the jar. If you like bagels, this is the place to go. Location is not much to be desired. But grab to go and enjoy.

Food selection is good but cleanliness of restaurant leaves much to be desired. Floors are really dirty as are most tables. Chairs askew. Not inviting environment at all. Visit was at 10:30 am.

Love this place. I always do the generic "bagel and cream cheese"- while my husband loves mixing sweet and savory. I finally decided to try his favorite and it's now my absolute favorite. We get the Veggie breakfast bagel on the apple cinnamon bagel. the combination might sound gross(!) but I'm an extremely picky eater and I love it. The servers are always pleasant, establishment clean and it's an enjoyable place to eat your meal. I live in Ashland and I prefer Ahuva to little shop of bagels.

I can't figure out why this place didn't have 5 stars! The everything bagel with lox & cream cheese (I also added sprouts) was incredible!!! Seriously, one of the best bagels I have ever encountered. The staff was very nice (she gave me a lesson on the name) and the coffee was good too. If you like good lox eat here!!!

I've been here twice and both times have been completely underwhelmed. I think the trick here is to just get a bagel and cream cheese and leave it at that because I keep mistakenly ordering mediocre sandwiches at lunch time. The bagels are not fresh & the cream cheese is generic. Then, Ahuva committed a huge sin: they toasted my bagel sandwich without asking. It was a turkey sandwich with cream cheese, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and onion. Everything was a gloppy, dripping mess. Now, I have a major personal issue with turkey and lettuce being heated in the sandwich form that I realize is a personal thing born from my dad microwaving a turkey sandwich with mayo and lettuce on it back when i was a kid and me subsequently vomiting all night... so this is a bit of a trigger for me: warmed lettuce just simply turns my stomach. SO, I wish they'd ask if I want it toasted. Who toasts a bagel sammy anyway?! If the bagel is fresh, that's all ya need! Last time I was there, I had the open face veggie and it was flavorless and I told myself never to order that again. Interesting to find out they use same recipes as Los Bagels (which are seriously superior bagels). Ahuva might want to study that recipe a little harder till they get it down pat. I think they are onto something but need to tweak it up to make it something great. That being said, SALT BAGELS. Fix this place so I can get yummy salt bagels please! :)
