Love this place! There are not very good "authentic" Mexican food restaurants that are worth going to in the area so I end up just cooking at home. They have handmade tortillas! Oh yess If I go early on, like before 3ish and it's a cool day out I order their consome(just the juice from a beef soup), and a few tacos, and I am set! Their sopes are HUGE! One time I ordered one with two tacos and could barely finish one of my tacos. The dough for the sopes are also made in house. Their tacos are packed with meat so you definitely get your money's worth ! I love how fresh all the veggies are at all times, I've never had a bitter lime from them which is all too common in other places. Oh yeah their jalapeños, onion and carrots in vinegar are also made in house!

Two words. Tongue Tacos. The tacos are addicting- I have to get them at least once a week. They come with an awesome verde sauce and a cup of pickled veggies (carrots, onions, jalapeños) which are spicy and excellent. Really authentic, and some of my favorite tacos.

Staff very rude, served people that came in after us first. Guess we were wrong ethnic! We walked out! No food worth eating under those circumstances!

The food was disgusting. The staff was rude. I would NOT recommend this place to my friends and family. It was a waste of money

Authentic....too bad I don't speak hardly any Spanish. This place is quite the hole in the wall. Telemundo playing on the TV, a few booths/tables scattered and BOOM ya have a taqueria. The staff is friendly. The food is great and priced inexpensively. $6 for a large chicken burrito that comes with rice and salad. $1.25 for a street taco. All very good. The taco seemed a bit salty but couldn't tell if it was the chicken or something they had sprikled on top....either way it was still tasty! They provide you with limes and green sauce that is just enough spice to get your nose to run. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something outside of the 'Americanized Mexican' food that is heavily scattered amongst the area.

This was such a surprise, I can't wait to go back. The staff hardly speaks English, but is more than willing to help you out understanding what's good to eat. We had the beef bone soup, and that was so tasty and yummy. Then we each tried something different - I had the pork flauta with beans and rice. WOW! My sister had the chicken burrito and that was the best - so big, it gave her two meals. The guacamole was really good. The food is authentic, the flavors are like magic on your tongue. This is a tiny place without any ambiance, but the food is too good to pass up. The price for all that we got was about $30, and that included our sodas. I recommend this place without any reservation on the quality. Everything is fresh!

We arrived at this establishment in a nice little strip mall. The menu is quite extensive but being my wife and my first time we tried to play it relatively safe. Ordered what I would call 'street tacos' and my wife ordered a chicken burrito. Both were directly off the menu with no special requests. The food was outstanding and authentic mexican food. It is spicy and slightly different than most other mexican food you will find the in area. The service was excellent as well. There was one waitress serving the restaruant and a bus boy who not only was bussing but who was also helping to make sure that everyone was happy and enjoying their meal. The booths and chairs are slightly outdated but relatively comfortable. And I was enjoying my food so much that I did not catch much of the decor. All in all a great experience!

This place was alright. The food is very authentic and the spices are very unique! Different from any other Mexican restaurant I have been to, in a good way! First time I ordered a Burrito de Pastor (spiced pork) and a Taco con Birria de Chivo (Taco with slow steamed goat). The pastor itself was delicious, and again, very unique Mexican flavor. The second time, however, I ordered Enchiladas de Pastor and they were extremely greasy. I'm not exaggerating when I say there was a soup of grease forming on my plate. The flavor itself was good, but it didn't feel right eating something that greasy. I chuckled when I noticed a piece of lettuce floating on a river of grease. There goes my serving of veggies for the day. The price can also leave a salty taste in the mouth. TA lot of the prices were "updated" (read: price raise) with a sharpie right on the menu, and marked up most meals by $0.75 to $2.00. Come on now... at least use some white-out so that I can't see the previous price. At $5.75, the burrito is the only thing which the price feels right. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the flavor, but I feel that may be the only lasting memory I will have of it. I would eat here again, just wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Very good with nice spices...I tried Amelia's here in town because of the reviews on Yelp and quite frankly, it sucked, very bland. But this place made up for it. I had the chicken burrito which is quite tasty and the green sauce that comes with it is just the right amount of heat and flavor. Plus there is a bakery next door that has some good cookies and cakes.

FINALLY some REAL Mexican food in the Northwest! I knew it had to exist. My quest is finally over. Incredibly good carne asada and pastor tacos. I can't wait to go back and try the menudo...it looked amazing. Is it wrong to eat at the same place twice in one day? Nah!

The chicken enchilada is accompanied with a fat piece of steak and extra tortillas.. i really dont understand but who cares its so good here! our out-of-town friends request to come here and it only costs $18 for the 4 of us. AMAZING!

Nice people, sub-par food. We were in town from Seattle and I have to say I can name off half a dozen Mexican restaurants that have waaaaay better food than this in my neck of the woods, even the ones that are local chains.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
