Great Harvest Bread

Fresh bread with nice varieties...three cheese garlic is really nice...nine grain bread is also our favorite....free sampling of walnut bread made me buy it immediately..it was also very nice... And if u have the card,u'll get a free loaf of ur choice after every 12 loafs u buy
If you want to be addicted to something, this is a good choice. Easy access off Cornell road or 185th. I go in every once in awhile to see what breads they are sampling. If I'm not careful, I would probably start buying everything in site. This bread is not only amazingly good (and addicting), but also healthy. Not a lot of ingredients and they are all your basic stuff (nothing you need your chemistry teacher to pronounce for you). My fave is anything with berries, or raisins. The counter people are always nice and are more than happy to cut you a huge slice to sample. I'll be back since it is really good bread that beats just about everything I've seen in a grocery store.
I LOVE the cinnamon chip bread from Great Harvest. It is just dangerous for me to have around. The garlic bread is also super yummy.

Reviews:
This coffee shop is a welcomed edition, and replacement of former shop, to the downtown Hillsboro shopping district. Serving up Longbottom coffee, sweets from LOCAL bakers, yummy Hawaiian style meals, and friendly service, Manaia gives customers a reason to keep coming back. The owners and their family are some of the nicest people you'll meet. The cafe is decorated beautifully, displaying work from local artists, and sporting a cool kids area near the back. I hear they have a killer breakfast burrito. I have that on my list of things to try. Finally, it is clear that the staff really cares about their customers from interaction I have had with them. Their actions and attention to details shows their dedication to making their business a success.
I had lunch there and it was as good as it gets. I consider myself an Hawaiian plate lunch specialist, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was perfect and the mac salad was really tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, great people and great food.
I liked this place. The food was a bit spendy, but it's local so I'm ok with that. The food was good, the coffee was good. Not a bif fan of the liquid suagar though, would like to see them add Stevia.

place is a dive but the service is great. bartender I had was very friendly. went there on my 21st birthday. This is a no nonsense have a good time kind of vibe in the place. Don't judge a place by how it looks because some of the best places to go are dives. Doesn't hurt that this place has a jukebox. cranking a lot of 80s rock. looking forward to visit again. My friend's parents are frequent visitors to this place.
Man you want divey and great service? This is the place! I love love dive bars and this is one of the better ones. I love going in and playing name that tune.. (not an actual game there) just one between people I meet there. Love that the bartender is always attentive and you always get GREAT drinks here. I mean really good ones, what more could you ask for? I'm sure this is one of the places where regualars go in and out of, but haven't been there quite enough to see any repeats- but I'm beginning to be one. :)
So my husband and I absolutely love Wilson's. Their pours and generous, the staff is always on top of it and the vibe is always friendly. We usually go in during the week in the evening and it's just got a good vibe. But now they have reached a whole other level of awesome.....Fred and his food. When I first saw the prices I thought it was a bit high for a sports bar, but then he brought out our burger and wrap and not only were the portions generous the food was amazing. Fred works some serious magic back in that kitchen and I urge you to check it out. While the decor may not be fancy schmanzy they hit the high bar where it counts in food, drink and great service. Yay Wilson's and double Yay Fred!

The flavor option was not very good. Everything else was good. Service and attention to the kids is great. My daighter walked out with a sticker and a ballon. The sample cups make a difference in choosing your flavor. The price is very reasonable. We enjoyed this yogurt location very much! Rate a 4 for the little ice cream choice.
So this is the holy Grail of yogurt. Sometimes the wife and I drive 15 miles just to get some. Great selection. Very clean. They even give newbies a tour. All topping are in closed clean containers. They really do it right.
I love this yogurt shop, I was happy to find out that they opened one in this area. They have great toppings and selection, and the vibe is very pleasant and upbeat.

I know giving fast food restaurants 5 stars may seem a bit frivolous but I must explain my grading in this case!! Michael (one of the managers I believe) is one of the nicest people I've met in a drive thru experience! We had a issue with our order previously and came back expecting a long hassle because that's what people like to do to you, but not him! No questions asked he accommodated us even better than when we first came. He prepared everything fresh, made sure we were satisfied and never showed any sign of frustration or anger about our complaint. Our food was hot and he definitely made our day. I always watch the Wendy's commercials about their salads and how they prepare them there in the restaurant, but I didn't believe the hype. We ordered chicken Caesar salads on a different occasion and let me tell you they have definitely improved their ingredients!!! Our sales were delicious and more importantly very fresh!! Happy Yelping...
I dont eat at Wendy's. Burgers, fries, etc. Nope. My kid doesnt eat chicken nuggets so not even that. Um just no. Not since college when my dorm was across the street and I thought their baked potato broccoli cheese whiz number was a semi-nutritious dinner. I do run through the drive through for a strawberry lemonade or iced tea occasionally. Theyre big with lots of ice for cheap on a thirsty day. But flipping through my photos on my phone today I remembered I got a salad there this past summer when I was desperate. It had strawberries, blueberries, almonds, and chicken on nice lettuce. I only hated the dressing packet. So I'm giving my salad and beverages a four. Because for Wendy's theyre a vast improvement over cheese goop. The drive thru people were friendly, too.
Did I go to Wendy's twice yesterday?... Yup! Wendy's is probably in my top 7 of fast food chains, mostly because I can say biggie size my order please. Also they have frosties, the most delicious chocolate soft serve dessert you can get at a fast food restaurant. The other delicious yummies you can expect to find are spicy chicken nuggets, and the JBC (junior bacon cheeseburger) the perfect size bacon cheese burger on a soft bun with all of the veggies. The fries are a lot better now that they use sea salt or whatever seasoning it might be they are one if the best in the business.

Clark’s Bistro and Pub

Reviews:
My wife, Linda, and I asked a friend (who works downtown every day) for a lunch recommendation. He said, "Clark's Bistro -- really good sandwiches for lunch!" So we went there about 2:30 PM and got to meet the proprietor, Zack Clark who gave us a tour of the Pub portion while we waited for our sandwiches, which by the way, were excellent. Linda had the chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes, and I had the pastrami Reuben. I'd get it again on my next visit! I recommend Clark's Bistro to anyone reading this review, and we are in no way associated with Zack and company except to say that we were pleasantly surprised at the great atmosphere (friendly to the max) and great food.
Was very good pub food and service. Would like to see them use the front space more often, though, as that's a great space that appears to be mostly unused. Either way, not pricey and would go back.
Best sandwhiches ever!- and the truffel fries are scrumptious. Great way to spend lunch and feel like you get a gormet meal. The atmosphere is comfy and modern with good music playing in the background. I highly recommend Clark's for your sandwich cravings you will not be disappointed.

I've heard a lot about this quaint little spot but my first impression today was not good. Upon arrival, the gal at the counter made it pretty clear that she likes to close everything down by 2:15 (they close at 2 and we arrived at 1:20 and she had another job to get to). Ok- I'm in the service industry too but I never make it that obvious that I want people to leave quickly. Our food arrived pretty quick - remembering the deadline to get out by 2:15 no doubt. I order a small chicken salad and my husband a large. The only difference between the two sizes were that his had more salad greens. But both had a very small ice cream scoop size of chicken salad in the middle of salad greens. It was good but very small for the price. When our orders arrived to our table, the same time-aware staff person said we could pick up our cutlery at the front counter. Wow- good thing we left her a 20% tip - only to be told to get our own cutlery, and - oh, by the way, you need to bus your own table after you are finished! I realize that it was our first time there and we didn't "know the ropes" but her lack of professionalism was tacky and left a bad taste in our mouth. The food was ok but I'm not sure I would go there again
This was a treat for my. Mom and I on our drive in the country, a few weeks ago. We each tried their lunch special, half of a turkey/pesto sandwich, along side of a cup of their tomato bisque soup. Yummy! We also shared one of their apricot/white chocolate cookies. Very nice and friendly country cafe. Is one of the stops on the Valley and Vineyard Scenic Tour.
The South Store Café rests among the apple orchards and berry fields of Scholls. The address is Hillsboro but the area is actually called Scholls. In the old days there were two general stores in the Scholls area: one to the North and one to the South. The Northern store is still a working store (now called Petrich's) and The South Store Café is now housed in the Southern store. Hence the name, "The South Store Café." The building itself is over 100 years old. The interior is a delightful mix of antique chairs, tables, pastry counters, and signed art work for sale. My server tells me that she enjoys working at The South Store Café so much that she drives all the way from Dayton to work here. I can see why. Among the offerings at The South Store Café are espresso coffees, pastries, sandwiches, soups, quiches, and breakfasts. On our visit we sampled an egg salad sandwich, a meatball sub, beef barley soup, and hot apple cider. Everything we had was outstanding. The beef barley soup tasted just like your Mom's best homemade soup. Delicious broth and a generous helping of beef and barley. The meatball sub was the best I'd had since I left New Jersey. Tasty meatballs, delicious marinara, and quality provolone cheese all served in an artisan baguette. The hot cider was perfectly seasoned and oh so delicious. The staff at The South Store Café is delightful. Talkative, friendly and helpful. Please note that The South Store Café is not open in the evening. This is strictly a breakfast and lunch type of operation. Whatever, The South Store Café is a wonderful find out among the beautiful farmland of Scholls.

I love this place. We came in once when we first moved here and enjoyed it. To be honest we didn't come back right away, so much to see and it's hard to go back to the same spot when you have so much new stuff around you. Eventually, we did make our way back and popped in for a beer on a weekend. The owner chatted us up while he finished up opening the place (we got there as soon as they opened) and told us his philosophy about just making sure people are getting good beers and enjoying the best he can give us. We've made it back a few times since and I really believe what he said to us. Everyone who works there is friendly and has a smile on their face. We've met a few people at the bar and are never disappointed with the beer selection. You're welcome to bring in your own food which is awesome since it can be hard to find vegan/healthy/tasty pub food sometimes. This way you just bring what you like! Both my husband and I really like this place and feel that it is becoming our regular pub stop. It's on our way to the library and across the street from our grocery store. Life is good.
Best location in west Portland for craft beer. This tap house takes pride in showcasing suds of all variety. The owners are passionate about delivery a unique experience and are dedicated to showcasing the Northwest's finest ales and ciders. What makes the Orenco Tap House stand out is the people both in front of and behind the bar. Cheers!
Great spot in Orenco Station -- lots of options and a great vibe. Board games, too!

The Savory Spoon

Reviews:
As another self-serve froyo addition to the area, Savory Spoon is just that - another addition. In terms of price, toppings, and decorations, I didn't find much here that separated it from the crowd. They did have a decent selection of flavors, though. I ended up getting a tart strawberry lemon sorbet of sorts, but after a few bites I thought it was very sugary and artificial-tasting. The other sweet flavors that I tried, like the chocolate and the peanut butter, were nice and rich, however. They have a Happy Hour during the afternoon where you can get a few cents off per ounce.
Their Country Vanilla has THE strongest vanilla flavor out of ANY froyo place I have ever been to. Hands down best on both coasts, I dare say! Salted caramel corn is a close runner up, and this coming from a chocoholic, I didn't even *want* to mix in chocolate after having those two flavors. Yea, that's how freaking AWESOME those two flavors were. Excellent selection of toppings, I should know since I had nearly all that would fit into my bowl. Damnit, now I need to go back for more!
All summer long...I was walking through the neighborhood, waiting for this place to open and I am so glad they did. The flavors rotate, so there is always something new to try but I am in love with the regular chocolate. It satisfies all of my chocolate needs and is fat free which is just a great bonus! Their hours are great ...I can get the baby down to bed, pass the monitor to my mom or fiance and then take a quick walk over and grab a lovely dessert. The owner man, is a great guy with all his customers which makes me want to support the business even more. I think that the name could be throwing some people off, that they might not realize that this place has amazing frozen yogurt....but it does. Come on out to the west side and join me for some tasty goodness!
