I like this location of Muchas- it seems much cleaner than other ones such as the St.Helens location- less chance of food poisoning perhaps? this i like! Muchas is tasty but you gotta know what to order if you dont want a tummy ache- my favorites 1) quesadilla with a side of guac and a side of rice. 2) Oregon burritos and bacon breakfast burritos are very tasty and super savory! 3) Torta- no one ever orders the torta sandwiches here but they are sooooo good! for anyone who hasn't had one picture a Mexican subway sandwich. Torta is a terrific way to get a big meal with fresh ingredients for less $$$

Dangerously inexpensive Mexican food that in no way can be healthy for you yet remains incredibly delicious. Rediscovering the Oregon Burrito here many years after my departure from Corvallis makes this place awesome.

'Almost' authentic Mexican! Chicken fajitas are really really good.

Not amazing, but for the price, decent. And quick.

3 1/2 stars. I miss my Fausto's, but since moving here this is its replacement. The service isn't the best, but who cares. Every time I've been here someone has been cleaning, which is amazing. Most good mexican places are cramped, dark, dirty, smelly, and no one cleans the salsa bar. Not here. I love their rolled tacos (eat them RIGHT after ordering) and carne asada chips. The pork can be a bit tough sometimes, but the actual chips are superb! They aren't skimpy with the toppings, either. Sometimes it bugs me that I'm ordering something warm and topped with shredded cheese and that my cheese isn't gooey. I like my cheese to be at least slightly melted. That's what I'm used to. But aaaaaah, I love my greasy Mexican food.

#1) item here for me: Carnitas Torta. The carnitas is pretty lean, and very moist with a rich meaty flavor, and is kind of sweet also. Some of the best carnitas I've had in recent times. #2) Carne Asada Tater Tots ("carne asada fries mexicanas"?) -carne asada is hit or miss here honestly. (sometimes theyre chewy and tendon-y and other times its a great cut of steak) oddly enough, my late night experiences with the carne asada have been better than the day time ones. blame the EtOH!!! *their regular crinkly fries are even better than the tater tots. to me at least. need to try this with the carne asada next time. #3) THE CARROTS. THE MFING CARROTS. I always consume a pound of these complimentary marinated carrots from their big tub next to the fountain drinks. onions-vinegar-jalapenos-carrots. el fin. #4) the horchata is just right here, cinnamon-y without being overpowering, and sweet without being like sugar milk. I could go through a gallon of this without being sick. for at least several hours.

Okay having spent most of my childhood in CA and having a family where authentic Mexican is made on a reg basis.... I have to say.... this place is not bad. In fact it is just wonderful. I am happy that the carne asada chips are sooooooo good and can split them with a friend and still be stuffed. I have recently tried their carne asada tacos and my gods.... I was loving it. I have had both the carne asada and the chicken burritos and have never been disappointed. I dont know why but I have always found humor that what everywhere else calls taquitos they called rolled tacos. they are good and my ex roomy orders them every time he goes. The Flan is good and never gritty. the pickled onion mixture is a little too heavy on the carrot side for me.... with not quite enough onions... but it is one of the best I have had. now... now I want to drive up there and get some lol. Is this the best Mexican food ever? No.... is it damn good..... Yes. I recommend it

Any Mexican food establishment that's open 24hrs on weekends deserves 3 stars (besides Taco Bell). This new establishment does it simple and right. Though it might need some decorations to add character. It looks very bare. You could smell a hint of what's cooking in the kitchen. They need to work on their ventilation system. I mean, it smells good but I would not appreciate smelling like a burrito. Well, for those who love to smell like a taco, they haven't invented a taco scented cologne yet. This might do if this is your scent. Hang out for an hour and once you step out, you'll smell like a taco. I prefer orange chicken myself so, i'll hang out by Happy Panda. Yellow walls, look up menu table, soda dispensing machine, condiments section (too little IMO), tables and chairs. The food was decent and by no means bad either. The serving was huge but I managed to consume my beef chimichanga. Get some chimichanga if yo gangsta.

Carne Asada Tots. Cheesy, meaty, potato-y, salty goodness. Need I say more?

I must admit, I had low expectations for this place. The name of the restaurant and the decor didn't scream authentic to me. It looks more like a fast food Mexican restaurant. I was actually in the mood for some breakfast tacos, which was why I had decided to try this place out. Unfortunately, they do not serve breakfast tacos, just breakfast burritos, which is strange to me because 99% of Mexican restaurant in San Antonio had breakfast tacos. It baffled me more when they couldn't make one anyway since they have all of the ingredients, just because it wasn't a menu item. I decided to order the Huevos Rancheros. To my surprise, it was pretty good. Pretty darn close to authentic. I also got a ton of tortillas with my meal, more than enough actually, because I couldn't finish all of them. The price was inexpensive, and the service was quick. Will definitely come here again and maybe try the breakfast burrito for next time.

This place is NOT healthy for you. The food is fast, relatively inexpensive, and the amount of salt and fat in the food is enough to give you a contact coronary. The food is not bad. I do enjoy the chorizo/egg/bean burrito and Oregon burrito even though the grease settles to the bottom and you realize the ratio of grease to burrito filling is leaning more towards grease. The carne asada chips and carne asada fries are gut-bombs and are less than $7 for a plate. It's a lot of food for less than $7. This place is good for a quick, cheap fix, but much better than Taco Hell.

Food is always fast and good. Oregon burrito is my fav

Great place to go after you had just hit up the club/bar to get some greasy food to satisfy your cravings. Muchas is probably one of my favorite chains in Oregon. I agree with Feuy S, "Carne Asada Tator Tots" are a unique spin off of the usual Carne Asada Fries. I've had both and I like them equally the same. But if you haven't had the Tator Tot version, I highly recommend it. If I'm in the area and just want a cheap snack, I would get one of their $2 fish tacos. Pretty good and is quite satisfying. I also recommend their Blazer Burrito special with comes with a small drink ($2.99). Overall, I'm always back here to satisfy my Mexican food fix.

  • Bill S.

I would rate this place higher but the service is very slow. The food is alright but the the wait time is that of a sit down restaurant if there is anyone in line already.

Having lived in Texas my expectations are high. This place is simply ok. Nothing that I'll wake up in the middle of the night craving.

I've heard a lot about Muchas Gracias from many a Portlander, so I figured I'd give it a try. I can't say I was impressed. Yes, it's fast food Mexican, and that rarely is designed to impress. The dishes are a lot less authentic than I'd expect: the carne asada and the carnitas both tasted bland, kinda like they've been dumbed down for the local audience. I'd give them only two stars, but they get an extra point for the fresh chips, which it looks like they make on the premesis. All in all, not bad, but misses the mark for "Mexican." Plus, it's cheap and has extended hours, which is a huge plus for the Tanasbourne area, where your only late-night dining option is the somewhat questionable Shari's.

    (3)
  • Cory H.

Fast Cheap and Good. I love the Combo #13 Carnitas plate. it's more then one man should try to eat at one time, but totally worth it.

  • Bob M.

OK, for the expat SoCal freaks, I will whisper one word to you: Alberto's. Yep, same folks. Same totally all-over-the-board goodness. It will depend on who's cooking and assembling and your grasp of Spanglish communicating exactly how you want it. The Oregon burrito is actually quite authentic Norte Mexican, though tell them to go light on the papitas. This is quite the joint for some victuals on the way home from a party doing the one-eyed drive, if you know what I mean...what is it about spicy, greasy food and cocktails..? For the rest of you, take what you can from all of that coded message I have just left you, forget the decor, have a sense of humor and fill up on cheap, occasionally wonderful Mexi-yumminess...

  • Roy C.

It's all about the chicken. Their hard shelled chicken tacos and chicken chimichangas are the best items on their menu. The chicken is cooked in a salty broth and is juicy and excellent. Each bite unleashes the salty broth so nicely absorbed by the chunks of chicken. Unlike many other chains, the food is not consistent from location to location. I have tried about 5 of them and found this to be the best. For instance, the other Hillsboro location serves soggy chimichangas with practically flavorless chicken while this newer location serves crunchy chimis with juicy, tasty, chicken as described above. Also, this location seems cleaner than any of the other ones.

First reason I like this place, it's not Taco Bell, but there are many other reasons I like this place. It's close to work, it's cheaper and better than Chipotle and most of all, it reminds me of the holy grail of burrito places, Santana's in San Diego... My favorites here are the carne asada burrito and the oregon(carne asada and potatoes) burrito. I also love the rolled tacos with guacamole. Not as good as my favorite place, but a hell of a lot closer!

    (4)
  • Paul S.

gotta love the Oregon burrito. I get it every time I come here. It's fairly cheap and quick so I come here when I crave for mexican food instead of taco bell.

  • J. A.

Reasons I love Muchas Gracias: 1. Open all hours. 2. Super duper inexpensive. 3. They're on every freakin' corner these days. 4. So clean I'd lick the floor...ok, maybe not...but they're clean! 5. Fast food service with food better than I'd expect from most taquerias, including but not limited to: 6. Rolled tacos covered in fresh guacamole and enough lettuce to constitute a free salad. 7. Darn good fish tacos. 8. Complimentary vats of pickled veggies and multiple homemade hot sauces. 9. Hibiscus juice. 10. Bunuelos. 11. And the kicker...You can apply for a franchise by simply filling out a quick online form.

  • Stuart H.

Finally, my cheap mexican fix. I am really grateful for this place being by my house and would eat their fish tacos everyday if I could, but even better then that, I just discovered their fish burritos. It's actually the same ingredents just nothing falls out and it's more fish!!! And the sauce bar rocks! It's so nice to have that late night urge for mexican food with a better option then Taco Bell.

    (4)
  • Alice H.

Breakfast burritos needs to be drier, but carne asada burritos are great

    (5)
  • Zingzang z.

Whats not to like, clean , cheap and open 24hours. Reminds me of the mexican food I had when I went to school in Cali. Although I have had better, this place beats the top rated place in Yelp.

    (5)
  • Samantha S.

If you like good old greasy Mexican food, this is the place for you. Good tacos and Carne Asadas and they're burritos are gigantic. They make it fast and it's reasonably priced.

    (4)
  • Don W.

The food is very flavorful, it's fast and cheap!!! The Carne Asada Burrito is freaking huge and its not filled with beans and potatoes or other fillers, it's 99% Carne Asada (grilled steak)!!!! It tastes good not like other chains where it it seems it was squeezed out of a tube in New york heated in Dallas and put on your plate in Beaverton!!!!

    (4)
  • Brian Y.

Good for a quick Mex fix on the cheap, although I would not recommend this joint for authentic Mex dining.

The one thing I appreciate about being out in Hillsboro (other than the gorgeous sunsets) is that I have quite a bit of access to many great mexican food options. I have been a patron of this Muchas Gracias location on several occasions. The restaurant has a few pluses: price and hours (open until 11pm or midnight throughout the week). However, those perks have lost there appeal after my last experience. First of all, the service is consistently cold and impatient. Second, I have never tasted so much sodium in a take out restaurant that wasn't fast food. Honestly, Taco Bell has tasted better than the carne asada burrito and guacamole I tried to ingest! I will no longer give them my business. With so many choices in this and surrounding areas, they really do shot themselves in the foot by not, at the very least, having friendly service.

Great Mexican value lunch option in Tanasbourne area. Tip - try the Oregon burrito (carne asade with potatoes and cheese. Hearty if not healthy). I love this joint. It's fast, it's cheap and it's delicious. What more can you ask for around $5 for lunch? There are lunch specials Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for $4.99 (main dish is tacos, burritos, depending on the day) that include sides of rice and beans and a drink. My go to lunch usually consists of exclusivley of one of their burritos, which are a great deal at $3.80. The burros are large and they come packed with meat, rice and beans and they taste great with any of the numerous salsas from a serve-yourself salsa bar. My only complaint, if you could really call it that, is that it's almost too clean....like it hasn't been around long enough for the grills to absorb the unique flavor that comes only after thousands of meal hours. GIve those grills another 10 years of grease miles and it could earn an extra star...

  • Valerie W.

It's Open 24 hours It's quick It's "Mexican" food It's priced fairly cheap What else do you expect? It's OK, not great by any means but a good place that is never overly crowded. The nachos are decent, the taquitos good, tacos and fajitas are alright. Hangover food/late night munchies? Hells yes.

  • Yoons S.

Quick and easy. Still like the Oregon burrito! I remember when it was 2.99 today prices were up again at 5.29!

  • Lina S.

Their food is ok not like authentic Mexican it wasn't spicy not even the sauces were spicy but that wasn't the problem.. Me and my husband don't and can't eat onions and I told them three times no onions in anything please and guess what when we got our food half our food was swimming in onions my burrito was stuffed and my husbands food was covered so I don't know if we will be back .. We spent half our time picking out onions

  • Kat M.

I ordered soft tacos and queso with chips...the lady brought me hard tacos and chips with shredded cheese melted sparingly on the chips! I was flabbergasted...never going there again!

  • Brian C.

Good burrito. They call it an Oregon burrito but everywhere else I've been it's called a California burrito. That doesn't matter. I'm not a snob about names. I do know it was one of the better ones. It tasted great and price was good too. Added bonus is it is right down the street from me. I am sure this is the first of many other burritos from here.

Excellent Breakfast burrito! Cannot go wrong with Chorizo or sausage :) excellent value for money. I wish they had breakfast tacos though.

It's so clean here. The food was good and service was great. The Mexican food here was delicious!

  • Jeff B.

Skipped cereal and was looking for a quick breakfast. I had been meaning to try Muchas Gracias and now I had a chance to check out their breakfast menu. The ham breakfast burritos was pretty large and had sauteed onions, ham, egg, and plenty of cheese. I was pleasantly surprised! Give it a try. The ambiance is a step above fast food but not quite casual dining.

  • Genna C.

No. This is for sure a step above the Del Taco Bell/Time type chains but unless you're looking for late night eats I don't think I'd recommend it. Some things here are pretty good. Service is fast and friendly. Tortillas are good, shredded beef and chicken are both good, carne asada is pretty tasty. The rice is good too, the beans are alright. I think you could get a pretty good combo plate here sticking to some basics. The Oregon burrito, packed with carne asada, potatoes, pico de gallo and cheese should be a winner --- but it's not. The potatoes are french fries. And I love fries, but in a burrito? No. I wanted soft potatoes that would mix nicely with the melted shredded cheddar, but it just turned out to be a gluey mess of skin-on greasy french fries. Not what I was looking for. I think for the area, Don Chilitos on TV Hwy does something similar but with better results. Actually, a lot of taco trucks -- La Morenita, for one -- offers a similar or better price point, are just as fast, and offer better seasoned savory goodness. Not to mention the Ochoas restaurants and Javier's further west. I'd be back if in the area and in a pinch (i.e. late night convenience.) It's a decent choice, nothing bad here that I've ever had, but no real standouts to put it above any of the many other quick and tasty Mexican stops in the area.

Entered there once with my family and stepped inside and said the same exact words of their restaurant, "Muchas Gracias", but im leaving. It was very Lonely there and the place looked a bit creepy and a bit dirty. The food didnt seem to good there.Did not feel the Vibe at this place.

My husband and I are from the south (Texas) and have been missing the tex-mex food! This is pretty darn close! We've been here a year and a half and finally gave it a try on a whim. My pregnancy cravings (and his) have been fulfilled!

I was looking for a quick meal and happened to come across Muchas Gracias. The advertisement in the window is what drew me in. The daily deals are pretty good. Its like 3-5 dollars for a full meal - of whatever the special is for that day. I tried their enchiladas. It was pretty good considering I just wanted a quick meal. The service was very friendly and the place was very clean. They have a salsa bar but it doesn't include pico de gallo. There was an additional fee for it. I wish it would be included with my meal or with the salsa bar. I would only come back if I needed to grab a quick meal and ordered something off of the daily special menu.

  • Rian A.

Not bad if you're hungry, but the tortillas always break in the center, very messy, and they put WAYYYYYY too much salt on their Carnitas.

  • Eric P.

Went here on 12/3 and ordered a chicken burrito. I politely asked that it only come with chicken, rice and cheese. I got home, opened it up and found some kind of meat that is definitely not chicken and tons of peppers and onions and other unwanted ingredients. They couldn't have screwed up my order worse if they had tried. Thank you guys for reminding me why I usually got to Taco Del Mar.

    (1)
  • Matt J.

Mediocre food. Went in for a burrito before work and I was ignored by two employees after they handed two to another person. I've been here before and that was an isolated incident but like I said, the foods mediocre. Reasonable versions of breakfast burrito, carne asada fries are doable and a few other selections. Most every thing comes with pico de gallo.

  • April M.

Love, love, love this Muchas Gracias! They always make the Oregon burrito just right, they cook the potatoes perfect, never under cooked. They are short staffed but they do a darn good job. Their Verde salsa is tasty and not too salty. Try their Oregon burrito if you need a steak fix!

I get a bacon sausage burrito with xtra cheese i call it in and its hott ready to go. Very good service

  • Troy D.

I had doubts about this joint, but it surprised me. It's actually pretty good. There are better places around like ochoas and Amelias but for what it is (a chain) it's pretty darn satisfying. The shredded beef tacos are great, as are their specials. When we want Mexican fast but not fast food ish we come here. Probably because it's closest.

  • Brent C.

Didn't know what to expect from this place because I recently moved to Hillsboro and it's just down the road from us so I stopped by and tried the carne asada fries one day and the carne asada tater tot another and they are both awesome! It's a lot of food don't think I finished either time but I'm most definitely going back and would recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican.

  • David M.

I've eaten there twice now and both times I have gotten a stomach ache. This place lures you in with good prices and posters all over the windows of yummy looking food. Went there with the family and fell for the $1.25 Guacamole scam. I don't know what that fluorescent green stuff was, but it sure wasn't guacamole. We all got stomach aches but wanting to give this place another chance I told myself it was probably just the guacamole that messed us up. I went there again today and this time ordered a breakfast burrito and made sure there was no guacamole. Sure enough about 10 minutes after leaving MG I got another stomach ache and slight nausea. We won't be going back. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that good Mexican food does not exist in the Pacific Northwest. Coming from Los Angeles it's unfortunate but the Portland area people don't know what good ethnic food tastes like. Otherwise this place would have a much lower rating. The only decent Mexi-food around seems to be the lunch trucks and those are pretty much hit and miss.

So I really wanted to give this a good review as I actually eat here very often for a quick Mexican fix- but today because of the service I will never return. I have tried to send my compliant to their website but funny how their comment part you can fill out but once you click to send it the page is corrupted and you cannot get it out to them- after researching I found the corporate office & sent the following to them- YES this actually happened there today. This morning 4/9 I went to your Hillsboro location as I do 3-4 times a week, there was several people there not looking happy so that should have been my first warning-the employee walked to the register I ordered the ham & cheese breakfast burrito (special on your website for $2.30 that includes the apple juice drink) he rung it up coming to $5.09, I said NO I want the special- he stared at me blankly and said NO its $5.09, I showed him on my phone the amount listed, he said NO then shrugged his shoulders and walked away to the back of the restaurant, then coming out he began to cook, I said excuse me? Several times- he ignored me , no other employees could be seen, some of the other patrons began walking out, as I did too- This was unbelievable - for the fact I am here so many times a week getting not just for myself & my family meals but my team of coworkers (20 of us) lunch weekly that I may never set foot in there again after this experience- you need to fix this, this was appalling behavior.

Honestly, I was just not impressed. It did not make my Arizona raised tastebuds sparkle, not a bit. We have been here for lunch, dinner, and grabbed breakfast burritos ( no, not for me, BTW). I feel like we gave it a fair chance. Everything seemed kind of greasy, salty, and not so delicious to us. We didn't really like the rice or the beans, and that's a pretty basic thing not to like. I would head for Don Pedro, or Taco del Mar, or even Taco Time before I'd go back here. It was fast, and cheap, I give it that.

Some things are simply not built for, and by no means intended for an exquisite dining-in experience. Muchas Gracias more than qualifies for this distinction. In fact, this is the only MG I've ever even heard of, that didn't offer drive through. !Valgame Dios! Also, this is the O-N-L-Y MG I've ever seen, that wasn't open 24/7! Why would they even think to DO that?!? The machaca burrito is my go-to, gold standard for Mexi-Cali/Tex-Mex grinds, and the machaca here left me saying, "Gracias, pero no muchas gracias", and the crunchy shelled shredded beef tacos, which have been a reliable performer at every other MG I've ever had them (*kaff kaff* the ones w/the drive-throughs), here looked like swisher sweets, rolled tight w/corn tortillas, and stuffed w/mystery meat--- not unlike what you'd find from the deep-fryer at any mom and pop convenience store or gas station. It was a clean and fastidious little eatery, and it's too bad it's simply caught in an indentity crisis, bigger than itself. MG Hillsboro, know your strengths, and relocate de pronto! to a locale where you can let the sunshine in, and the drive through lane stays open, preferably 24/7....

I ate here a second time. Much better experience still not the greatest place but the experience was good enough that it warranted an updated review score

Quite possibly the worst restaurant I've ever been to. From the get go trying to get to the restraint itself is difficult to find and get to the parking lot. Bright harsh lighting and plastic booth seating doesn't scream sit and stay awhile to enjoy your meal. There is a strong antiseptic odor which is always worrisome. The cashier that took our order seemed to hate her job and made us wait till after she took another order to give my boyfriend his drink. The food came really quick and was super cheap which should have been further signs that this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. But you get what you pay for I guess which in our case was super salty and disgusting food. Even the boyfriend who enjoys salty food more than I did agreed it was way too salty.

Was craving Mexican food and remembered that they had pretty good reviews so thought I'd check it out. We ordered 3 meals and a drink, which came to $17 and some change, which isn't a bad price at all. I had the carne asada plate, which was really good and had good sized portions. Hubby had a burrito and enchilada combo, which he liked but I didn't try so I can't vouch for it. We ordered the rolled beef tacos for my son. They're basically taquitos and you can get cheese and/or guacamole on them. We ordered them with just cheese, kind of dry but tasty and a heck of a deal. 3 of them for like $2.50, can't beat that! The Spanish rice that came with the combo plates was really flavorful and moist, the beans were smooth but could have used some salt. My only complaints are that the decor is pretty nonexistent and WAY to much of that chunky salsa. I'm not a fan of it anyways so I may be biased. The green sauce was good but to liquidy for me. Nice and clean, fast service, and good prices. We'll definitely come back soon.

This is the only place I can find thus far that has the California burrito (known as the Oregon burrito here). I have them take out the pico de gallo and put sour cream instead... and this keeps me satisfied. I am thankful for this place just for this option. Muchas Gracias! (get it?)

  • Scott N.

Muchas Gracias is definitely one of the fastest Mexican fast food joints around. This place cooks and plates your food so fast that it will make your head spin. If you're in a hurry Muchas Gracias is a very good place to dine. The menu is quite extensive. Among the offerings are tacos, burritos, tortas, flan, and numerous combinations. Tacos go for around $2.20 to $2.80. The combinations start at about $6.50 and include re-fried beans and Spanish rice. Proportions are large and quite generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Muchas Gracias offers an interior that is bright and comfortable. The meats here are quite good. Delicious carne asada and chicken. The re-fried beans are tasty but the tortillas are just so so. The Spanish rice at Muchas Gracias is tasteless and a total waste of time. Definite pluses for Muchas Gracias are speed and the late opening hours. If it was late and I needed a late night Mexican fix then I'd definitely stop by Muchas Gracias. Other than that I would say get thee to a good taqueria.

Coming from Southern California, I know a good mexican place when I see one. This place was abnormally clean for what I'm used to. No flies buzzing around my food, and the floors were actually SHINY. i felt as if i could lick the floor without getting hepatitis... which for me, is usually NOT a sign of a delicious, hole-in-the-wall mexican joint. Anyway, I went here and saw that all of their orders were topped with lettuce and cheese, which to me, signifies that they know what's up. All of the best mexican places I've been to put lettuce and cheese on top of EVERYTHING. I got what my brother recommended: the carne asada tater tots. ohhh mercy. NO WHERE in socal do they have this. Quite possibly the best thing in the world. It was so good, I came back here later that day to get it again. TWO ORDERS OF CARNE ASADA tater tots within 8 hours of each other? am i crazy? yes. Did i spend a few hours on the toilet? possibly. Was it worth it? hell YEAH. Next time I'm up in oregon, i'm definitely eating here again. I mean, the carne asada COULD be tastier, but the whole mix of tater tots, cheese, guac, sour cream, pico de gallo, and sour cream was so delicious I wanted to hump our order. So my recommendation? Come here and try the carne asada tater tots, and make sure you bring some toilet paper.

230am? Blood alcohol level greater than 0.08? Well, I have just 4 words for you: "Carne Asada Tator Tots." You're welcome.

Carne asada and cheese over tater tots? Stop it already. This is fucking delicious. Makes me want to go back to eating meat full time. Don't make me smuggle you into PDX which I won't because I'm a considerate flyer. Jin Wah on the other hand travels better :)

This place is pretty good for a simple Mexican food dish. I've stopped in a couple times to get a little lunch plate to take back to work with me. Quick and friendly service. They have a little salsa bar inside, and several drink options. It's clean and spacious. I hear the breakfast burritos are awesome.

I had little to no expectations coming here. I'm originally from southern california where Mexican food is plentiful so I was a little hesitant to eat here with my roommates at first, but it turned out to be a great decision. I opted for the carne asada tater tots. WHO DOES CARNE ASADA TATER TOTS? And wow, they're actually pretty freaking delicious. If you come here, I highly recommend this dish. Unless you have a monstrous appetite, you probably won't be able to finish. Great to split between two, and in that case, a great deal!

I would rate this place higher but the service is very slow. The food is alright but the the wait time is that of a sit down restaurant if there is anyone in line already.

Fast Cheap and Good. I love the Combo #13 Carnitas plate. it's more then one man should try to eat at one time, but totally worth it.

Quite the surprise for me, as I was expecting to be terribly disappointed. I'd heard mixed reviews, and I guess I just wasn't optimistic when a coworker suggested we stop for dinner after work. The restaurant was spotless, airy, brightly lit and laid out in a nice way. There's a huge, easy to read menu of approachable items, all under $10. The teenage girl working at the counter was polite (and didn't have a bad attitude like I've encountered so often recently!) and our transaction was quick and easy. The food was pretty good for "fast food". A little greasy, and the tortillas that came with the fajitas were stale, but it wasn't anything dramatic. I was also disappointed that the salsa bar was empty. But, that said, I'd like the chance to go back and try the salsas, as well as to order something else. I was still more impressed than I thought I'd be.

The worst ever I ordered a damn ham egg in cheese burrito, and I got more than what I asked for like always. This is the second time I went to this place and I will never again. My ham, egg and cheese burrito had, onions, peppers and looked like boiled eggs I never ordered all that crap but they still put in in there.. Do not waste your time and money on this place please...

Not as good as my favorite place, but a hell of a lot closer!

gotta love the Oregon burrito. I get it every time I come here. It's fairly cheap and quick so I come here when I crave for mexican food instead of taco bell.

If you like good old greasy Mexican food, this is the place for you. Good tacos and Carne Asadas and they're burritos are gigantic. They make it fast and it's reasonably priced.

Not bad if you're hungry, but the tortillas always break in the center, very messy, and they put WAYYYYYY too much salt on their Carnitas.

Hells yes.

Me and my husband don't and can't eat onions and I told them three times no onions in anything please and guess what when we got our food half our food was swimming in onions my burrito was stuffed and my husbands food was covered so I don't know if we will be back .. We spent half our time picking out onions

This is the only place I can find thus far that has the California burrito (known as the Oregon burrito here). I have them take out the pico de gallo and put sour cream instead... and this keeps me satisfied. I am thankful for this place just for this option. Muchas Gracias! (get it?)

Not bad if you're hungry, but the tortillas always break in the center, very messy, and they put WAYYYYYY too much salt on their Carnitas.

My husband and I are from the south (Texas) and have been missing the tex-mex food! This is pretty darn close! We've been here a year and a half and finally gave it a try on a whim. My pregnancy cravings (and his) have been fulfilled!

Carne Asada Tots. Cheesy, meaty, potato-y, salty goodness. Need I say more?

Dangerously inexpensive Mexican food that in no way can be healthy for you yet remains incredibly delicious. Rediscovering the Oregon Burrito here many years after my departure from Corvallis makes this place awesome.

'Almost' authentic Mexican! Chicken fajitas are really really good.

Fast Cheap and Good. I love the Combo #13 Carnitas plate. it's more then one man should try to eat at one time, but totally worth it.

Not as good as my favorite place, but a hell of a lot closer!

gotta love the Oregon burrito. I get it every time I come here. It's fairly cheap and quick so I come here when I crave for mexican food instead of taco bell.

Breakfast burritos needs to be drier, but carne asada burritos are great

Whats not to like, clean , cheap and open 24hours. Reminds me of the mexican food I had when I went to school in Cali. Although I have had better, this place beats the top rated place in Yelp.

If you like good old greasy Mexican food, this is the place for you. Good tacos and Carne Asadas and they're burritos are gigantic. They make it fast and it's reasonably priced.

Good for a quick Mex fix on the cheap, although I would not recommend this joint for authentic Mex dining.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Muchas Gracias
