One star cause it's as low as it goes. This is not a real jack in the box. It was hijacked by disgruntled McDonald's workers who get their funding from isis. Food is overcooked dried out hockey pucks that will suck the moisture from your soul. I haaaate McDonald's. But if you have a urge to eat a fast food burger in forest grove, go to McDonald's. The employees are cool and their 'food' is more satisfying than the dried out 99 cent store sponge burgers they sell at this location. Seriously how can you f up franchise food. It's designed not to fail. Well they are shattering the stupid barrier here.

Service is shiteous here. I've gone through the drive thru right before the lunch rush and nobody answered. I was about to park and go inside until I saw another car pull up and waited. Oh yeah they waited. And waited. Then left. What the F is going on here?? Eh, I'm over this bitch. The food was ok for awhile, then you realize you're eating filth. 2 tacos for a dollar, soggy and greasy. Although nice taco sauce. Chili cheese curly fries... ok for the first 20 times. The burgers.. no. Jack in the Crack.. I Am DONE with thee. Thou can go on making others fat.

Let's cal it a 2 + Star Review to be honest. Living on the Oregon Coast aka living in an area the farthest away from any variety, convenience, options, etc., makes it a zen moment anytime that I can see my favourite clown beckoning for me to come and drown myself in his addictive, amazing, food-gasmic tacos. I crave them like a fat kid craves cake. That being said, I am a happy lad when I can indulge at Jack's. My first impression was that this was one of the largest ones that I have seen. Modern, bright, roomy, lots of shiny things, and of course TACOS!!!!!! Got to the counter and felt like I was transported back to my living in Southern California days where one needs a UN envoy and translator to get any sort of accurate service. As we were ordering, the other employee (older lady) kept yelling out order numbers right by our ears. If this wasn't annoying enough and made communicating with the order taker even more difficult, as her listening skills and English comprehension left a lot to be desired, she proceeded to YELL!!!!!!!!!!! the entire contents of the order. After a while, this almost became a comic endeavor and forced me to start YELLING over her so my poor order taker could hear me. Laughter ensued by all except for the one that I will now call "LA SCREAMER", who was oblivious to the whole scenario. Cut to the chase....a fast food meal for 5 people for under 30 bucks that included my "taco fix" is something that I will not complain about. The hiring of staff that can't communicate proficiently with its customers (I don't care what the local demographic is!!) is. So bring your ear plugs, Rosetta Stone, and patience and enjoy some artery clogging goodness. PS Lavatories were a mess. Restaurant dining area and food prep area were spotless.

I will admit...Jack in the Box is a guilty pleasure of mine from time to time. Is it good? No, but usually it's edible. Short and to the point, I have been to this location a few times, every time I am waiting way too long in the drive through, and something is wrong in the bag, I could check my bag yes, but I ordered ONE item and it wasn't even close. The last time I went I waited in the drive-thru for about 5 minutes after no help, I proceed to the window...not a soul...I knock on the window...nothing. I go in, a girl makes eye contact with me and darts behind the counter. I see a manager washing trays, but he is clearly doing everything in his power to not make eye contact with me. I say hello, I shout, nothing, not a flinch. I even kicked the door open Chuck Norris style on my way out I watched from outside.... I bet you are wondering if anyone came to see what was up...they didn't. Fuck you Jack in the crack, and a double fuck you for wasting my entire lunch break.

I've visited this location a few times for lunch. Most of the time I've been helped by a super friendly guy. No complaints with the food. It's usually just as I expect it. It's nice to know that I can come here and not worry if my food is gonna be stale and cold. I especially hate it when my sourdough jack isn't toasted enough.
