Now this place was quite the adventure. Stopped in here on Easter Sunday, we were on our way to Shonnas but saw this little place and thought why not? I never noticed that there was a place here. We went in and sat the bar, the lady that runs the place carded me! Bless her heart! Then asked us what we wanted. Was a handful of regulars and the manager and they were in the middle of changing shifts. I had one of them spicy eggs, yummo! DH had a pickle (too big for me) lol. Had only a couple of drinks here, didn't want to get any more, I could have easily burned two more hours in here. I can't believe how much time went by when we were in there! I was taking pictures of the place, as I noticed it had no pictures, and very little ratings,the manager immediately asked me why I was taking pictures, she asked me what I was doing and why. I told her about Yelp and she had never heard of it. She said don't you tell managment and what not you''re "coming in to review a place"? I said no, that it's not that formal, I said I frequent places and review them. I'm quite certain places might not do bad things if they knew they were being "reviewed", but I love doing this and doing it so I can get the word out about places that maybe no one else knows is there. I mentioned this to her as well and told her it's a good thing trust me. I had a look over the menu and I was notified that the menu is being redone. They do have much more than what is on this menu currently. If all you see is bar food, ask what else there is. The manager notified me that they always have good food and a great cook. Meatloaf, ribs, primerib, go in there on Fridays I was told. I will be sure to check it out! Overall this was one of the more interesting experiences I have had with a business and the first time anyone has mentioned my yelping and what am I doing? lol. I did love the warm feel of this place, loved meeting the manager and the regulars where really fun and open here, a lady even shared her fries with us. Learned so much and was a lot of fun!

I'm here visiting from California ,and stopped in here. Loved it!! The DJ Jay was so fun!!! And Kelly and Amber were the best bartenders!! I definitely recommend this bar:) Very fun place!!

Yelped a place for good burgers in Hillsboro other than Helvetia and this came up. Being a bit adventurous we pulled in. Let's just say we were pleasantly surprised. Don't judge from location or that it's a video poker bar it's good and the customer service is super.

I heart dive bars, I really do. This place started out on an iffy note but quickly redeemed itself as the hubs and I made our way through the evening. We ordered our drinks, but when we asked for a menu, the bartender wouldn't give us one because they were stocking the kitchen with product. It seemed kinda weird to me that we couldn't even look at one, but we weren't in a hurry so we hung out and watched one of the many TVs. Once the gal left for the evening, it was all good from there. The cook is amazingly nice! He even came out and checked on us while the new bartender came on shift and, when we explained that we were hungry, immediately whipped out both the HH menu and the regular menu and made several recommendations. The new bartender (Jasper?) noticed that we weren't into WWE wrestling (which was playing on the TV directly in front of us) and immediately changed the channel. I ordered a side salad from the HH menu while the hubs ordered a burger. My $3 salad was HUGE with all sorts of goodies on it. Hubs enjoyed the burger, but said it could have been cooked a wee bit less. The cook advised us that Friday is Prime Rib night - can't wait to check it out (along with the prime rib dip the next day).

Strange place, the waitress doesn't know anything about the beer she serves, including if it is light or dark, two sandwiches took over 30 minutes to bring to our table, and the bread was soggy. Better sure to ask for a fork at the start because they won't bring one with your meal and the waitress is not comming back again. I wish I could rate them with negative stars so you could get a better picture of dinning hrre
