I'm only going to give it 2 starts because it IS a new place and they are probably trying to figure out things. We went after the civil war game at like 5pm (which is prime time to go get some food), and ordered drinks and food. the drinks were expensively STIFF! the food however, HORRIBLE! I ordered a panini, which sounded good...and it was COLD!!! just the bread had been toasted, and the cheese and ham and "cooked" bacon was cold (making it not taste fresh at all!) it took waaay too long to get that. the "gourmet" chili tasted awfully a lot like the chili I buy at Winco.... the kicker was the employees. the bartenders looked annoyed then entire time with the amount of drunk alumni/students being...well loud and drunk. the only waitress they had tried waaaaay to hard to be cute for money (which isn't always a bad thing) however, this particular girl was not cute at all, and must have been having a bad night or something because it was not working for her. My mother had ordered some sort of dip appetizer plate, and asked for more chips because the chip to dip ratio is not at all proportional - and the waitress told us that they dont have any chips!!! what bar runs out of chips!! its *THE* drunk food. then not 10mins later did some one at our table get a side of chips from the SAME WAITRESS. #areyoukiddingme? my mother so obviously asked what was up and the smiled and said,..."that's just what the kitchen is telling me." the waitress also grabbed the part of our pitcher where you're supposed to pour the beer with her bare fingers to check if it was empty! IT WAS HALF FULL!! everyone saw it and were just like...did you really just do that?? EDIT: I originally had rated this 2 stars, however after I wrote this the fore-mentioned waitress had the guts to EMAIL ME telling me about how this critique was "mean and uncomplimentary to her work"???? Can you do that? I change my answer to 1.

This is a great new campus bar. The bar just opened and they are still putting the finishing touches on the place. I went in on a quiet Tuesday. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Lots of open space to handle crowds without feeling cramped.

It is small and has an unusual layout. The food is pretty good; it is worth going in just to try their mac & cheese. They also have a nice variety of beers to choose from.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place, given older reviews, but would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to watch a game or to enjoy a taste of some of the many craft beer selections Eugene has to offer. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and the service was great: my food came out within a reasonable amount of time and the bartender was attentive throughout. The bartender knew his beer and was kind enough to give me a taster of each of the local microbrews being that I've never been to Oregon or heard of some of the beers on tap.

I almost don't have words to describe how awful the food and service was here. Waitress was awkward, food took way too long, presentation was subpar, and taste was horrid. I would take school lunch over this food anyday. Easily one of the worst meals I have ever had out. Owners, please take notice of the 3 star rating and get some culinary expertise in the kitchen. Change things up and I will be back, hopefully to have my mind changed.

Great atmosphere in this bar! I highly recommend the homemade jalapeño poppers for your appetizer, only $5 during Happy Hour. The paninis were delish! The pasta salad is to die for. We will definitely be back

Close to campus, near Duck Store. Very nice place. Great food, large portions. I had the Loaded Veggie salad. Fresh and delicious! Great service and good beer on tap. Cocktails are large too:). Great place to watch sporting events. TV's all around.

During my second visit to Webfoot I was admiring a crater lake vodka sign on the wall. I touched the canvas and made a joke about how it was securely bolted to the wall to prevent theft. I by no means had any intentions of stealing the sign myself. Suddenly, a bouncer grab my neck from behind and squeezed both of the arteries. My friend and I both asked him several times to calm down and let go of my neck. It hurt really bad and we were being completely calm. It was out of line and unnecessary. He refused to listen to us, took my $4.75 beer, and escorted us out-- still hold my neck half the way out. When we reached the door he told the other bouncer to "get these two faggots out of here." I told him to try and have a better night. He said "I'm have a great night dealing with little shits like you." I have never felt so violated and insulted by a member of the service industry in my entire life. I wasn't even drunk! (Although the bouncer might have been).

My wife and I headed to Webfoot for an afternoon lunch on a Sunday. The bar is decorated tastefully! There is a thin line between tacky beer swag cluttering the walls and interesting beer/alcohol paraphernalia that keeps one rubbernecking checking out the interesting sites. Being from the MidWest my eye was always drawn to the custom Old Style sign. The food was fantastic! The tuna app was nicely done. The chicken Caesar salad was wonderful.... but a bit pricy, but I would get it again! The beer cheese soup was crisp, and smooth. Great place. Nothing bad to say other than some of the prices. But, it's worth the extra nickels and dimes.

Bomb ass panini. I got the granny fanny because I'm vegetarian and it sounded yummy-never mind the witty name. Mozerella cheese, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, and kalamata olives mmm. Super tasty, super fresh, quick service. I got the jalepaneo kettle chips with it-also super good. I went on a Sunday afternoon so there was every football game, awesome atmosphere with rowdy guys enjoyin their afternoon. I'd definitely come back here, good prices too! Did I mention the super cute bartender?

I went here at 2PM. So not at night. Cute location Amazing chicken sandwich. I won't be back, but only because I like to explore all the great restaurants on 13th. The chicken sandwich I had surpassed McMenamins. I highly recommend this little joint.

I like this place because it's new and clean and the TV's are the best on campus. Just the TV setup is enough to go back to watch a game. However, there are some very basic issues that i have to address: -the barstools. what the hell? i understand that you're trying to be cool by converting old kegs into stools. and they look cool at first until you try and spend 2 to 3 hours sitting on it and your legs fall asleep. i can't fit my damn feet on them unless i straddle it like i'm riding a horse or riding a log down the hill like they do in Europe. Give us some damn space to put our legs on the stools and maybe you'll see us around longer ordering more drinks. And GO BUY MORE! it seems like there are only ten bar stools in this whole bar and hardly enough seats at the bar to bring new people to the bar to give you money. -I know new bars get scholarships and benefits from the Big Two by displaying their horrible advertising all over the bars. Figure out a way to pay back your debt to Budweiser and take that garbage off the walls. Budweiser/Coors/Miller/Rolling Rock is terrible beer and you should be embarrassed that you're plastering their logos all over the place. Eugene has some damn good breweries who employ people who actually love and care about craft beers. show them some respect. -The TV's are great, but just having cool TV's doesn't make people like you, and i really wish i had a good bar stool to sit on so i could watch a game. too bad they're all taken and/or so uncomfortable i'd rather leave. You guys have tons of space to add more seating and make this THE campus sports bar to go to watch the best team in the PAC 12 North. -on the upside, cleanest campus bar bathroom i've ever seen--at least on the day i went.

This place is really quite bad. My girlfriend and I were the only ones in the place and had to wait forever for bad food that was precooked. Can't order your beef prepared a certain way because it is precooked and frozen. We did not receive silverware or napkins and had to specifically ask for them. When it came time for the check, we had to wait for almost 10 minutes....we were the only people in the whole place. Good lord.

This place is garbage. The first few times I've been it was okay. Expensive food. Girls Gone Wild playing on the bar TV's (an unusual change from the usual 24-hour Sportscenter programming). However, this weekend was the straw that broke the camel's back. I was out with my girlfriend, my roommate, and one of her friends at some bars downtown and I had the great idea, "hey, let's go to some campus bars." The first place we went to was The Webfoot. However, we didn't even make it through the door. The bouncer, some chubby, bearded gummi-bear with an inflated ego was checking ID's at the door. He started with my roommate, who's almost 30 and clearly looks over 21, and spent an excessive amount of time scanning the back and front of her ID. She's not from Oregon: She's from Wisconsin, but this guy didn't know what a Wisconsin ID looked like, so he just assumed it was fake. The worst part was when he checked my girlfriend's Hawaii ID, looked it over for a really long time again, and then just said, "Sorry, can't help ya," and put it in his pocket. IT WAS HER REAL ID! SHE'S 21! When he looked at her friend's ID, who's also from Hawaii and HAS THE EXACT SAME ID, said it was okay and let her in. My girlfriend kept asking him why he took her ID and he kept repeating the same thing, "Sorry, can't help ya," and he said it was fake and she wasn't getting it back. MY GIRLFRIEND STARTED CRYING, and the bouncer just ignored her and started letting in other people right past her without even so much as a glance at their ID's. I've never been more pissed off in my entire life and demanded to see the manager, to which he replied, "I'm basically the manager, I call the shots." When I went up to the bartender and told her what was going on, she basically parroted what the bouncer said and was less than sympathetic to the situation. My girlfriend kept insisting he made a mistake, but the bouncer didn't seem to know what a fake looked like but acted like he did, so he had to walk across the street to Taylor's to ask another bouncer if it was fake or not. When he came back, he finally gave the ID back to my crying girlfriend, but didn't even apologize or say, "sorry." He just said nothing and went back inside. I've never been treated with more indignity in my entire life, even at a college bar, than I was at The Webfoot. I don't know what size the stick up that bouncer's ass was that night, but no one EVER deserves to be treated the way he treated my girlfriend, especially because she did NOTHING wrong. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE, EVER AGAIN! And since Taylor's is owned by the same people, I suggest never going to Taylor's, either.

  • Kalli B.

The family that owns this place is very nice and involved in the community. During the day, there aren't a ton of people here but at night, it is a focal point of the college bar scene. If you're looking for that kind of scene, which I usually am, it's great! Fair prices and efficient staff. I wish there was more space, but it's always worth the stop.

The Panini selection is great, too many microbrews on tap to name, at least 8 TVs on and the service was excellent. I have to admit after reading some on here I was hesitant but the place looked (and was) very clean and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Ryan was Very knowledgeable and helpful and we had a great experience. I mean... How can you go wrong at a place that has a breakfast themed panini and one they call The Elvis??! We will definitely be back!

  • Zack B.

Hands down the worst food I've had in a long, long time. Dry, filler-filled burger, garnished with nothing but ice berg lettuce and a single bad tomato. Undercooked mushy fries. Empty place at 12:15 -- a bad sign to begin with. Wish I could have my time and money back. Simply awful.

    (1)
  • Sean S.

After my second time at this bar, I can say that I probably won't be returning. The first time I was there was my friend's 21st birthday (a special night). On that night, immediately after last call, the bouncers were forcing people to chug their drinks and leave the bar. Most bars will at least let you stay and enjoy your last drink...not these guys. My second time there, the sandwich I ordered was cold and the bar staff charged my card twice. I later found out that they charge $20.00 as a service fee of some sort to make sure you have funds in your account. Not sure if that is standard practice, but this has never happened to me at any of the other campus bars. To sum it up...There are many other bars on campus (Rennie's, Taylor's, Max's) that have much more to offer.

This new campus bar has some serious potential. It has a perfect location and plenty of big screen tv's. However my few experiences here have landed it an "ehh, okay" 3 stars. My main complaints are the attitude of the bartenders and pricey drinks/food. The girl behind the bar was very short and almost rude to us, despite my group being part of only about ten people in the entire place.. When it's that empty, shouldn't you be trying to make sure all your customers are satisfied and happy? She seemed like a total snobby bitch. I prefer the nicer bartenders at Rennie's...

This new campus restaurant/bar is a welcome addition to the campus food choices. Four co-workers and I took our boss there for a birthday lunch--we were six people with no reservation showing up during lunch rush, needing two tables pushed together, etc. I had some concerns about how this was going to go after reading other Yelp reviews, but we had a great experience. Someone hadn't shown up for their kitchen shift, so the rest of the staff was working hard to compensate. In spite of this, our waiter was patient, friendly and polite, when he had every reason to be harried and frustrated. Our food arrived in a timely manner with a nice presentation, and all six of us were happy with our meals. As a lunch venue, I highly recommend it.

One of the worst places near campus to get lunch. This is the third time I've been and each time the service is slower with rude employees. I will NOT go back.

LOVE this place. Favorite place to watch a game. Tons of flat screen TVs, and they will always accommodate my love of watching East coast basketball games (even when the Ducks are playing!). Food is way better than your average bar food: amazing ahi tuna appetizer, baked French fries that are super crispy, great paninis, and awesome hot dogs, which you can get about 6 different ways. Drinks are poured very generously, and there is even air hockey and a jump shot basketball competition game. Definitely differentiates itself from your typical sports bar.

When it's that empty, shouldn't you be trying to make sure all your customers are satisfied and happy? She seemed like a total snobby bitch. I prefer the nicer bartenders at Rennie's...

Great addition to the campus bar scene. Service was great, Loved the bar and access to get a drink. Great atmosphere. Love the beer selection. I am a happy duck.
