We stopped here because my son wanted to try their chili cheese fries AND from my experience prior they were horrible. Stopped by and Gabriel was our cashier, he was extremely helpful and extremely nice to my son. I hope supervisors here read reviews because he can train others in customer service. Oh and the chili cheese fries weren't bad. I gave it 5 stars mostly for service.

This is a little Mexican meat market that also sells Mexican bread and groceries. It's right next to Taqueria Mi Tierra, which is owned by the same people and serves good authentic Mexican food. My parents (both Mexican) have been looking for good Mexican bread in Eugene and have always been disappointed until we tried it here. The "conchitas" are very good, and the fruit or cream filled pastries are excellent. I almost forgot to mention the "orejas" or palmiers--flaky and delicious! Their "bolillos" were a little disappointing, but everything else we've tried is very good. This past 4th of July, we bought some prepared seasoned beef for "carne asada" and seasoned chicken to grill, and they were both very tasty. I will be going there often and hope they stay in business!

Oregon Wood Fired PIzza

Wow! We had them in a mobile setting at a winery and they were amazing! From the Bay Area and this rivals Delfina any day. I can only imagine what they would do at a permanent facility. Yum, yum yum!!!
"Oh my gawd, this is so fucking good!" That was my dear friend MarDee last night, biting into the first slice of OWFP we'd picked up after both having crappy days at work. And you know what? My foul-mouthed friend was right. Good, yeasty dough stretched thin and blasted quickly in a wood-fired oven. Fresh, quality ingredients in inventive combinations you'd not think of but work right away. We ordered the Oakshire: fresh mozzarella, pistachios that toasted, red onions sliced so thin they caramelized in the scorching heat, fresh rosemary and shavings of pecorino. This thing sings. It really is the perfect pie to share with friends and a pint. A Twelve-inch pizza will run you a reasonable $12. Me: "Where do you guys park?" Friendly woman behind the counter: "We're here at Oakshire Thursday and Friday nights, Ninkasi on Tuesdays and Sweet Cheeks, too." Me: "Do you have to be drunk to eat this pizza?" Man, I'm clever.
Though it's a little challenge keeping up on where this little gem will be each day it's well worth the toil. You just can't beat the taste of a true wood-smoked pizza and enough choices to meet any hunger needs. Now if they could just park in my driveway once a week we would be good. :-)

Sunshine Limo Service & Wine Tours

Our Bridesmaids Wine Country Tour was a delight because of Bob our limo driver. His sense of humor, and his amazing 10-point turn on a narrow, gravel road was beyond a doubt a wonderful conclusion to our little "lost in the woods." He managed to keep us on schedule without rushing us. I would highly recommend Sunshine Limo! Julie F.
We used Sunshine Limos for my best friend's wine tasting bachelorette party. Our driver Whit was so professional and flexible, he made our day absolutely wonderful! He was on time to all of our scheduled tastings and made sure there was plenty of beverages to keep hydrated and 'happy'. Whit also volunteered to take pictures of our group at every location. Financially, they are well-priced and easy to work with. They also confirmed all our scheduled tastings for us. I would absolutely use Sunshine Limos again and highly recommend them to anyone in the Willamette Valley area!!!! (& ask for Whit!!)
We used Sunshine Limo for a wine tour and it was amazing! Our driver Tim was fun, professional and took care of everything for us! We felt very well taken care of and it let us really enjoy our day in the sunshine enjoying the great wineries in OR. We will definitely use them again! Completely recommend this company.

Love this place! best b & b ever. The house was beautiful and clean. The little things like chocolate by the bed and homemade cookies anytime on the tea tray made this our favorite place in Oregon. Not to mention the homemade granola in the morning. Amazing!
We really enjoyed our stay! Nicole, one of the owners, greeted us at the door and led us to our room ("Forget-Me-Not") on the second floor of this beautiful downtown bed and breakfast. She explained we could help ourselves to the wine and cold beer option (I had a cold beer...good on a HOT summer day). Our room was Air Conditioned (much appreciated!) and very neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable (on the firm side, which is what we prefer). Pillows were also comfortable. Breakfast the next day on the veranda was delightful. Nicole was very attentive to our special dietary needs. We highly recommend The Oval Door when you are in Eugene.

We had a fantastic party and really enjoyed everything Mark served...the shredded pork, chicken, mac & cheese bar, veggie kabobs, cole slaw, fruit and salads were all fresh and delicious. And Aaron did a great job setting up, serving, attending to people's needs, boxing up the leftovers, and then breaking down and cleaning up. I cannot begin to thank Mark and his team enough for giving us a well executed and worry free event. Their efficiency, hard work, and professionalism allowed my family to spend all our time celebrating our son's graduation...and it was all delicious Thank you and Bravo!
We rented a home through VRBO for our son's graduation and hired Mark to cater the event. We weren't familiar with the kitchen or supplies, No problem for Mark - he brought everything he needed to be successful. He and his team were on-time, professional, engaging, and very flexible both in planning and the day of the event. Would definitely use him again!
Carte Blanche catered our staff agency's appreciation luncheon. Food was wonderful & service spectacular. I highly recommend!

Probably the best old style coffeeshop in Oregon known only to regulars. Prices are extremely reasonable and food is always excellent. Today we tried the corn chowder and clubhouse sandwiches, wow. But get there early.
Love this place. George and Donna treat the customers like family.... the restaurant is a blast from the past. Teach your kids what a REAL old fashioned milkshake tastes like! The fish and chips are the best in town, but my favorite is the Thursday hot turkey special. Like Thanksgiving.... every week! Potato salad is good too, fresh without preservatives, homemade. I find the prices comparable to other places in the area, and the servings are huge. Always enjoy my visits there.
This is a wonderful diner! If you love days gone by with the good old fashioned 50s foods, this is the place to go. Small, filled with fun regulars and affordable. Try the specials--for sure. I love George and Donna! What a fun place to enjoy.

Doug’s Place Restaurant & Catering

I manage my son's soccer team (hungry 15 & 16-year old boys) and we were in Eugene for a tournament July 10-14/13. Looking for something different for the team for lunch, I tried Doug's Place. It was excellent! Catered right to us at the side of the field, exactly on time, with enough desserts to last for the whole weekend. The boys loved it and had enough food - huge sandwiches with lots of sandwich meat on fresh bread, sliced watermelon, apples (which weren't a huge hit with the team), yummy chocolate brownies and m&m cookies. They even provided two huge chicken salads for the two gluten-intolerant participants. I would recommend Doug's Place Catering to any sports team looking for an easy & reasonably $ lunch during a tournament. I will definitely order from them again if we are ever at a Eugene tournament in the future.
I'm not typically one who orders from a gas station but Doug's has awesome burgers!!! Simple and made to order...I am a fan! Really good buns too. I can't wait to try a malt! There's just something so charming about this place. Reminds me of a spot in California I would go to with my mom growing up. :)
Great place! Great food! Great people! Wouldnt even imagin this from a gas staition but this places food went above and beyond! I go all the time, super conveinant as it right off i-5. Its a must eat place forsure. You Rock DP!

Growler Nation

Reviews:
Growler Nation might as well be called Beer Heaven. With over 30 local rotating taps, and choice of beer, cider, and kombucha, GN is a great place to quench your thirst. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold, and the atmosphere is always relaxing. They've even allowed me to change the channel on their Dish subscription when the game is on. Though they don't have a kitchen, they've recently partnered with a local pizzeria and now serve pizza by the slice. They also encourage you to bring your own snacks or food from near by restaurants if you're really hungry. We've been coming here for almost a year, and will be back again and again I'm sure!
Love this place. Always something good on tap and specials. Food nearby you can bring in or they have pizza now. Great staff that live beer.
As good as it gets? Oh yah!! If you are a beer drinker you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Stouts, Ails, Porters, Ciders, Fruit Beers, Barley Beers, oh you name it they will have it. I'll be heading on back their to get my growler refilled ASAP!!

Reviews:
Awesome selection of drinks especially whiskey. And some pretty good grub too, all reasonably priced. I'd recommend it for a couple quiet drinks and a meal.
New place -- super cozy, nice service, good prices. The bartender brought us Cards Against Humanity, and the deck had been curated to have only fun cards, THEY TOOK OUT THE BORING CARDS, yahoo!
I almost don't want to write this review, because The Pint Pot is a perfectly sized, smallish corner bar. It has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and it feels very open. There's outdoor seating in front, as well as a fenced area out back. The fare is what you'd expect from an Irish/English themed bar. Bangers and mash, soda bread, meat samplers, corned hash and, strangely enough, poutine. The drinks reflect this as well, with offerings including Guinness, Smithwicks and a variety of whiskey and scotch. The tap beer runs at $5, with Guinness at $5.50. Cans of Boddingtons and Coors are slightly less. I overheard the bartender saying that the second shot in a double is priced at half the liquor's base cost, though. I didn't try the food on my first visit, but the guy next to me ordered three dishes, and seemed to enjoy them all. There are two televisions, one at the end of the curved bar, as well as one in front of a seating area with various felt couches and arm chairs. They were broadcasting college baseball while I was there, but they are working to show soccer games as well. The place is quiet right now, so it seems great for work, but its hard to tell how popular this place will become. I hope they succeed, but the building is very intimate. If you're doing laundry at Emerald next door, then there's no better way to pass the hour.
