Cheap, clean, nice staff, good variety of options and who doesn't love watching them cook it up right in front of you? It's a pretty simple little restaurant but I eat there all the time and have always enjoyed what I've had.

We really enjoyed it! I loved all the veggies, and the sauces. I suggest making smallish bowls so they stay hot. You can go back for more... and more. Yum!!

*SIGH* I love Mongolian food, so I was so excited to have a Mongolian place on Coburg. I visited here today for the second time, and sadly will NEVER GO BACK. My sister-in-law and I were their first customers of the day. When we took our bowls up to the counter to be cooked, there were dried drops of sauce all over the counter where customers had spilled the previous night, making it very sticky. I mentioned it to both the wait staff and the cook, and neither seemed concerned and made no attempt to wipe it down. I ate what was mediocre food at best. The sauces were not fresh and too sweet for my taste. I observed the wait staff pour an opened can of some sauce into one of the serving containers, which confirmed my suspicion that the sauces aren't fresh, or authentic, for that matter. Save your money and skip this place. Over 10 dollars for this food is a waste. I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1 because our server was pleasant.

Went here after checking the one review (thanks, Claire!). Fast and friendly service is a real plus and you get it here. The assortment line of meats and veggies was good but some of the more importatnt things you had to either reach over or go around. Not the end of the earth. The only real problem was, after going to various Mongolian places, they had no sauce/oil/water menu as to how much of what to add. The place that does this best is the River View Mongolian Grill in Albany. The cook was friendly and quick and the Teriyaki plentiful. Place was clean as was the restroom. Hey, the Mrs. even loved it and they even had Gluten Free noodles for her. Iced tea was good and there was even Egg Flower Soup which was real good with lots of flavor. This is a place that has lots of fresh stuff to choose from and we will be back!

Sweet! A Mongolian Grill on Coburg, right next to Safeway! Service: Super friendly, very attentive Selection: See photos, I covered all areas of the 'bar', so you can see what they offer. Highlight is the meat selection, which includes the usual pork, beef, chicken and tofu, as well as shrimp, krab, salmon and sliced hot dogs! Lot of different sauces, though the one I really wished they had was peanut sauce. I hope they'll add it. Extras: You can add eggs to your dish, at the bar! They'll just crack them over your food right on the grill, I love it! There's also a bar with after-grill stuff like crispy noodls, peanuts, sauces, etc. And finally: you get free egg flour soup and rice with your meal! Restaurant: Clean, with lots of booths, not too light, not too dark. Comfortable place to sit.

Nothing amazing but good enough. It wasn't full of options but again, enough to make a good plate of food. The cook was very kind and helpful. I wish I had cash to tip him but I only had a card on me. They didn't accept American Express or their own Groupon but I'd go back if I was in the area as I love Mongolian food and the do-it-yourself kind of meal. Staff was friendly but we were the only ones in the place for the majority of our stay. I imagine with only two people working their service quality would go down quickly if more people showed up.

Went here tonight last minute. It was my brothers birthday and he had mentioned Chinese, but this seemed better as its healthier and they had a groupon running. Honestly the groupon only saves you a few bucks, touché to them for setting it up that way I guess. I was glad they weren't too busy as I was starving, but also glad it wasn't too empty as to suggest no one goes there. I was really pleased with the strength of the flavors! I usually put tons of sauces at Jungs or other places and still end up dumping sriracha on after for flavor. My good came out with almost too much flavor since I overloaded expecting much less. Soup came with, was good and hot and sitting at our table when we got back with our dishes. Service was friendly. Overall a good experience. A little pricey, even with the groupon. I'll go back with my other half of the deal, but not sure ill be a regular because I can't put down more than one bowl. It's interesting to see how horribly lees Mongolian is reviewed and this place is reviewed quite favorably so far and sounds like they have the same owners and setup.

The decor wasn't appealing to the eye, horrible taste in music, the vegetables tasted sour and I didn't like the consistency of the noodles. I felt the veggies were under cooked. Overall I had a bad experience. Never going again... I DID like their soup though.

Great food and lots of choices. This was my first time in over 4 yr to have mongolian. So glad someone finally added gluten free options.

We used to go to this place once a week, but they just remodeled the place and upped the price for Children limiting them to one time through. The place is also advertised as "all you can eat", which is not true as you can only go through twice and they give you a tiny bowl for 2nds. You used to be able to feed a family of 5 for less than $50, but with new cheapskate way of doing business I will never go back. There was not one person in there on a Saturday afternoon at 4pm, we will not be back.

I'm addicted to this place. Their selection of food is good (not the best) but everything looks & tastes fresh. Friendly staff. Good value for the money if you're hungry. Lots of seating.

Five stars for the taste and selection! Another style of restaurant I've been to a lot of... this one by far is my favorite. If you're Gluten-Free, rejoice! Of course they can't keep it COMPLETELY gluten-free, but so far so good! They've got tons of sauces and lots to choose from, as far as vegetables and meat. For a Mongolian food place that's in a strip mall, it's pretty dang good...just don't get hung up on what it "looks" like inside. ;)

Sticky bowl, sticky floor, watery sauces, mushy rice ( didn't eat it). I've never seen brown hot mustard. Just got to Jungs...

Good food but even better, great service. Lunch comes with soup, good and it's served hot. The place is clean. Second time here and will be back.

They just opened and we've been meaning to stop in, glad we did! I love the Chef's Choice for sauce!! Really good. Friendly service and lots of food. I was only able to get through one plate. It's around $11.50 per person so it's not inexpensive but well worth it. We are definitely going back :-)

I am so happy there is a new Mongolian Grill on Coburg! I love this place and the Coburg location did not disappoint. The atmosphere is a little dated but that doesn't take away from the quality of yumminess!

I tend to be picky about Mongolian, because I like the taste just so. Some restaurants do not have the right ingredients to suit my taste. This one is perfect though! They have 3 different kinds of noodles, plenty of veggies, and all the necessary sauce options including wine which is key. The egg option at the grill is a lot of fun, and my kids love it. They also have a whole counter full of after-cooking toppings like crunchy chow-mein, peanuts, etc. I find myself having become a regular visitor. The price is reasonable, the chef is friendly and very skilled (Saw him do 15 bowls on the grill at once the other day without skipping a beat, amazing!) and you will not wait long for a second bowl, refills on drinks, etc.

Tried this one not long after it opened. It was pretty much what one would expect from a Mongolian grill sort of place. These restaurants seem to be challenging to keep clean but this one does a pretty good job. Of course, it only recently opened, so hopefully they can keep up the good work. I did find the inclusion of sliced hot dogs somewhat off-putting, however. Looked really unappetizing and can only imagine how it would have tasted. And for the record, I don't mind eating a good hot dog once in a while. Just not so much with my stir fry!

I was very hesitant to try this restaurant because of it's location in a rather unclean strip mall, but I was hungry and had to do some grocery shopping so I caved in. The food was fresh and there was a broad selection. I can't think of anything I would have added. There were plenty of sauces and my selection turned out delicious (Mongolian and Garlic sauce with a splash of Teriyaki). They provided warm white rice and egg drop soup while my food was being cooked which was very sweet. Everything was delicious beyond my expectations. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. The atmosphere was horrendous. I feel like it's so close to being a great restaurant, but that's really holding it back. The decor is exactly what you would expect for the strip mall. But if you're looking for a good lunch, this is the place. It was 17.90$ for lunch for two without drinks. Very fairly priced. You received two buffet plates. I could only eat one and I didn't even eat my soup. Definitely worth a try if you can over look the decor.
