I've been going here a lot lately and every time my breakfast burrito has been great. I always mine with bacon! It's been loaded with both bacon and eggs every time. I've noticed that some of the cooks throw on a little too much potato, but the good thing is you can see them, so if you want less you can always let them know!. Not the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, but definitely good. The restaurant is always clean and the service is always quick and friendly. No complaints there.

I call it the poor man version of Burrito Boy. With Chipotle right down the road from this Burrito Amigos, I wouldn't recommend it unless you had to walk there. Then again...it might be worth the walk to Chipotle still.

Tasty Fish Tacos and it came worth a small side of bean for about $6.50. Just right for a lunch.. I will come back to this place. Mmmm.

Lettuce in the burrito, enough said. This place might be great for local Eugenians, but those of us that were born and raised in So Cal have to settle. That being said, still the best I've found in Eugene.

This is a good place to go when you want a quick bite to eat in a semi-hurry. Went for just that yesterday, I ordered 3 tacos, got them within a few minutes of ordering them, ate them, drank some complimentary water and was on my way. The tacos were pretty tasty. I don't think they quite live up to the usage of burrito in their name. I think some of the better things to get here would be the more simpler items like, tacos, chips and salsa even the tamales. I think their burritos leave a lot to be desired. In general though, I haven't found very good Mexican food in Eugene.I kind of wonder what would happen if all of the sudden some really good Mexican food popped up out of no where here? Oh, and their current local TV commercials are kind of annoying and not in that it's so bad its good (i'm looking at you Discount Windows and Mr. Appliance) kind of way.

Burrito amigos had great reviews so we went to check it out. It's easy to find across from Papas Pizza on Coburg Rd. The lady behind the counter was friendly and pleasant. I enjoyed our small talk. The food came quickly. I had a wet burrito. It was huge and full of meat. It didn't have any sauce like sour cream or guac inside, and I found it kind of dry. The flavors were good though. I won't get it again. The chips it came with were delish. My wife got the quesadilla and that was next level. I mean sooo good. I highly recommend it. The hot sauce choices were also good. Great spot, but don't get the dry wet-burrito.

The food all tasted reheated, my enchilada was cold. The 3 people behind the counter couldn't get my order right. The rice was crunchy. The Carne asada was meh. I had to ask 3 times for my tortillas that came with my order. I was overcharged then asked to pay more when my order was wrong. Likely will not visit again.

Awesome staff and excellent food. I've had their burritos, tacos, breakfast burritos, and various side items. The daily deals are the best. We love the taco specials on Tuesdays. Try the potato tacos! Don't forget to get a green salsa cup either, it's very good. Burrito Amigos is just wonderful. :)

I went to Burrito Amigos once during my lunch break and experienced the following: - friendly staff - quick service without compromised quality - vegetarian menu (includes tofu--though it is deep-fried, which is strange and reminiscent of szechuan tofu eggplant from Panda Express...not what I expected from a burrito franchise that caters to gringos). - self-service lime / lemon slices and garnishes - red and green salsa / hot sauce - Jarritos Mexican sodas - bottled water with the "Burrito Amigos" logo (described as "reclaimed rainwater" on the label) - any burrito can be made a "junior" (smaller size) for $1 less - a dairy-free version of their vegetarian burrito is actually on the menu, and meat-free, lard-free whole (as opposed to refried) beans are the default (2 stars for vegan friendliness!) - free chips do not accompany your meal, which is typical of Oregon Mexican joints like this one and may come as a surprise to visitors from California (where free chips are the norm) - accessible power outlets (I wouldn't normally mention this but the main reason I ordered food here was that my phone died and I needed to charge it). - clean restrooms ...Not the most impressive taco shop in Eugene, but definitely worth the visit if you're desperate for a quick bite and need to charge your phone.

Here's a newsflash Eugene restauranteurs... if you are going to charge $4.75 for a breakfast burrito w meat... add the meat!!! I dropped $11 (tip included) for 2 "to go" burritos this morning... one w bacon for my son, the other w chorizo. Plenty of EGG.. blahhh... my chorizo was applied like pizza sauce to the dough.. just a smattering on the tortilla. Crazy! The last time we ordered "to go" food from this place I spent $28 for 2 people... including a trio of tamales for around $8.50... they were about the size of taquitos. I actually drove back to return the pork and beef tamales.. they were dry.. like freezer burnt. The only edible one was the chicken. It was good, but too small. After today, I won't be spending my money here. In this economy, I expect good food, fresh food. I don't mind PAYING for it, but I will no longer tolerate restaurants that charge plenty and don't deliver!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
