Super good. Haven't been here for years, kinda forgot about it to be honest. Be careful...you will eat until you go into a bagel coma. We both did. The smoked turkey, and smoked turkey pesto melts on wheat everything bagels were fantastic! They should just call it "Fat, dumb and happy." We even ordered a beef melt (with corned beef) to go for later... Will be back often, like Wednesday.

These are some of the downright best bagels I have eaten. They offer many different kinds of bagels and a variety of meats and other toppings. They also have chips and drinks and goodies. So good I had to buy one of their green and yellow "I love my bagels" tees!

We were in Eugene for a show and may never be there again, but if we find ourselves there again it won't be at Bagel Sphere during a rush. As a Jew, I'm a self-proclaimed aficionado of bagels. Their bagels, well they're good. Not great, but good. Their service is incredibly slow, I felt like time may have actually stopped while we awaited our bagel breakfast. Alas, I was mistaken, time had not stopped and at least 20 minutes had elapsed. That's just too darn long to wait for a bagel in my book. Bottom line: bagels yum, super slow service, not yum.

Loved their lox bagel and their veggie bagel and especially loved their Mexican hot chocolate.

Bagel Sphere was just okay. I was craving a bagel sandwich for brunch, and this joint popped up at the top when I searched in Yelp. The customer service was sub-par; the cashier didn't acknowledge me at first and a second employee had to do so awkwardly from the side. Food came out quick but my breakfast bagel was not soft, and the ingredients were mediocre. They have a wide selection but if you're looking for exceptional, unique eats, this place is not for you.

I was anticipating my delicious bagel sandwich this morning only to be disappointed. First off, the food itself was good. It just wasn't at all what I ordered. I ordered the veg bagel; comes with cream cheese, onion, tomato, avacado and sprouts or lettuce. I asked them to omit the sprouts/lettuce; the gal asked if I'd like to sub with spinach. I replied, "no, nothing green except the avacado." What I got was no where near my order; all of the above except the avacado! And, the cream cheese was barely visible; pile it up man! Me being the gracious person I am told them just to add the avacado, that I'd live with all the green things. The "cook" gave me a cup of avacado instead. I know, I could've insisted they fix it or make a new one, I just hate wasting food. To top it off my Americano was like warm which is usual for this place. If you want hot coffee go to Dutch Bros! Then when I got to my car to fix my order my coffee tipped resolving the issue of temp. 2 stars for poor order taking and the "cook" not going the extra mile to make it right.

Bagels are a simple food, but simple things are tricky because every little detail matters. That's why transplanted Easterners complain about crumbly, soft hamburger buns being passed off as bagels. They have a notion of firm, chewy disks with a shmeer of cream cheese that you need strong jaws and teeth to handle. Bagel Sphere offers pretty good approximations of the classic, and lots of flavor combinations. The texture is still on the soft side, but they make them fresh every day. You can get sandwiches made with them at breakfast or lunch. Coffee must be good at a place like this, and theirs is. If you live or work in downtown, this is a good option. Just don't expect a back-east experience.

I do like Bagel Sphere, but it still has kinks that need to be worked out. Good: The bagels are better than anything else I've had in the Eugene/Springfield area. There are a number of flavors for both bagel and cream cheese and the store seems to be fairly well stocked with the options no matter what time of day I've been there. The cream cheese flavors are really good. I usually go with the jalapeno, which has a bit of a kick but is never overwhelmingly spicy. Meh: The service is super slow. I'm not sure what takes so much time - when I've been to other bagel places in other cities it takes about half the time. But what do I know, I don't work in a place that sells bagels so maybe there is something super special that takes a while that I just don't know about. Bad: I usually get the onion bagel and today my fiancee got a garlic bagel. Instead of baking the onion/garlic into the bagel, the flavor comes from pieces of onion (or garlic) on top. This forces me to make a difficult decision. I can either a.) not get my bagel toasted or b.) suffer through slightly burnt pieces of onion on top of my bagel. I really wish they would consider some kind of remedy to this problem. I still go here about once a month because I really like bagels and I haven't found another place in Eugene that makes a solid bagel. But I always find myself wishing that the service was a little faster and the bagels were a little tastier.

Update, I would say 3.5 stars. If we are rating them compared to other Bagel offerings in Eugene, they are obviously 5 out of 5. Real boiled bagels. If you are a bagel addict, you will not find better Bagels in Eugene. Compared to the better NYC bagelsmiths, more like a 3. But that's obviously tough competition, so I'm not complaining.

Had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. While it was good, it was tiny. Had to go to Voodoo to satisfy my hunger.

Ever so delicious bagels. I love the alder smoked salmon with a spinach and herb bagel. Good coffee too.

Wasn't crazy about this place. The bagels themselves were on par with ones you can get at the local bakeries. They have a big menu though, so that's a plus. Atmosphere is also nice, and the service is fast & friendly so it'd make a good place to study or something. But again, the bagels were nothing to write home about. I got sausage and egg on my bagel, both of which didn't seem very fresh or high quality.

Very disappointed, from out of town looking for good bagel shop because I love me some bagels. This was not it..... the fruit flavored cream cheese was very very bland and so was the strawberry bagel its self. I would not go back.

Bagel Sphere makes a Transplanted NY'er VERY HAPPY!!! Orientation is going on this week and we regrettably did IHOP one day and felt like crapolla. I got on yelp and read up about Bagel Sphere and went on Wednesday and I got a toasted Garlic bagel with Lox Spread which happened to be the Cream Cheese special of the day so my bagel was $2 (Still in shock!!!) and my GF got a toasted everything with veggie cream cheese. They have daily coffee specials too and my gf got the Golden Grahams coffee (not sure what all is in it) but she was raving about it. We will definitely be back as the bagels are legit and the coffee pleases my gf immensely.

This place makes the best mocha lattes, same with there other location. Now for the food. Yum! I'm a huge fan of bagels and cream cheese and they have it on lock. Lots if variety and different favors to choose from. There missing a star because I think this bagel sphere location could be tidier. Also the ambience in this location is kind of on the blah side. They should think about repainting the walls because paint is noticeably chipping.

I stopped by in for a quick snack. I decided to go with a cheese jalapeno bagel and a cinnamon raisin bagel. It was slow when I came in, so the service was quick and the employees were helpful. The bagels were inexpensive too.

Parking's a pain. Bagels are good. Great bagel selection. Service is friendly. Beverage offerings, weak. Pet peeve: tasting other bagel flavors on your bagels (ie. a strong jalapeno flavor on a honey wheat)...this shop isn't as bad as other violators. Only had a mild taste of other bagel rubbing on mine. Mild annoyance, homeless and beggars occupy the neighborhood surrounding the Sphere. Not good for business.

Yummy bagels! The jalapeño bagel was perfection!! Probably the best bagel shop we've found in the PNW.

I'm visiting Eugene, OR on business and was searching for a good light breakfast place. The first thing I noticed when biting into the bagels here is that they were so light and easy to chew through. Not like some bagels that are so thick and dense. Very good & not to heavy to start the day! I ordered the sausage and egg sandwich on a cheese bagel & it was delicious. Very friendly service too. Nice to have that experience to start your day off right.

LOVE Bagel Sphere.. I go here from time to time and get lunch. Day old bagels are still good and you can buy their cream cheese and fresh bagels if you want to take them home. They have all sorts of kinds of bagels to choose from as well as a list of cream cheeses to try. This place really does have it all. They have bagels, you can get special sandwiches such as tuna melt, pizza melt or turkey..much more They have deserts and chips and soups and tons of drink options. YUM!

Good bagels, but I go for the delicious bagel sandwiches. Tons of variety, but I can't seem to get enough of the entirely too salty combination of the salt caraway bagel with corned beef and peperoncinis. The service is always very helpful, and the coffee isn't bad. My only complaint is that it is located too close to my apartment, which means it is a constantly looming threat to my waistline.

This location is super convenient to foot and bicycle traffic. They have a nice selection of bagels and other baked goods. Their flavored cream cheese is a bit bland and over-priced. The bagel sandwiches are inconsistent in quality. They seem to run low on bagels pretty early in the afternoon and I find myself struggling to find something that sounds really good. The staff doesn't seem to be well versed in the art of making espresso drinks. I've had the worse tasting latte here. If I'd not been blocks away I would have asked them to fix it. All in all, this is an ok place to grab a quick snack. Just don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

The bagel was good, but I was expecting better. I wanted more than a muffin but less than a meal. The other customers were not a positive.

Interesting that there are four (4) new reviews for Bagel Sphere, written on the same day. Must be a run on bagels! I thought I'd chime in. It's true that these are some of the better bagels in Eugene, a town which ain't exactly the West Coast New York of bagels - if that makes any sense. The bagels are a good, firm and mostly authentic boiled styled bagel rather than the fluffy, soft mess that often passes for a bagel out here. Their bagel sandwiches, on the other hand, are disappointingly bland. In a hurry to get out of town the other day, I hit up the W. 11th location. The gals working the deli were very sweet and efficient and made my sandwiches in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the 'wiches were totally flavorless. I ordered the veggie, smothered in cream cheese, avocado and other good stuff, and a tuna melt, and neither really tasted much like anything. You win some, you loose some.

The chick behind the counter walks up to take my order, chomping on a bagel piece she just stuffed in her mouth, doesn't was her hands or even apologize as she talks around a wet lump of dough. Just about walked out at that point, but I've been here before & knew the food was good. Aside from shamefully poor service, this place is a decent stop for a bagel. However, Humble Bagel is the best place in Eugene for a truly tasty bagel & good service.

I think this place is really great. I didn't give it 5 stars because I've had better bagels and cream cheese, but this place is still delicious. Service was quick. I ordered a tuna lunch bagel on sesame. I really like that they use cream cheese instead of mayo. I also like that they have sprouts, although the day I went in they were out and substituted lettuce (OK with me). The tuna had great flavor, all the ingredients were extremely fresh. I also purchased iced tea, which was made to order. The person making it knew enough to add lots of ice to fresh brewed tea...a quality in a tea maker that is quite hard to find. Everything was reasonably priced. Lobby was clean, plenty of seating. There was also a guy in the lobby playing guitar, which was enjoyable...I was surprised at the acoustics in the building. Staff was extremely friendly, asked how my food was and acknowledged me when I came in. Excellent customer service over all.

Had a quick, early morning breakfast there recently and was pleased with the quick service, chit-chat with the employees, and tasty breakfast bagel sandwich. The bagel and cream cheese selection was expansive, with seemingly a flavor for everyone! This was the second Bagel Sphere I'd patronized and I've been equally impressed with both. I'll definitely be going back!... #CorvSMB #EUG #Eugene #local #Oregon

Love Bagel Sphere! Basically anything your palette could possibly want out of a bagel can be achieved here. Traditional classics with new takes accompanied by freshly baked local bagels; can't get much better! I'm a regular, and will continue to keep coming back for the "Beef Melt" alone. It's not a very quick in-and-out trip, but I've never had a bagel from there I didn't like.

Love Bagel Sphere! I'm so glad I discovered this place, and didn't spend the rest of my life only eating "regular" sandwiches. So delicious, and super nice staff too.

Love this place. The wait may be a bit long but it's never 20 minutes like some of the other reviews say. The place is usually pretty busy so a short wait is expected. My go to is a veggie sandwich with bacon on a jalapeno bagel with cream cheese.

I kind of like going to a place to eat and being sure what they will have. Sometimes it's jalapeño other times it's garlic herb. Or who knows?! Breakfast bagels are a great way to have just a little bit more bacon in your life so I keep going back when I am downtown.

i go here fairly often because its one of the few decent places downtown to pick up some fast-ish food. BUT it actually takes FOREVER and i've never understood why, they've got three to four people back there and... shit i dont know. I've waited 20 mintues for a non-toasted begel sandwich. But my main problem with this place is the avocado situation. It's disgusting. I'd had the close-faced veggie sandwich a few times and thought there was something weird tasting about the avo, but once i added avocado to an open-faced sandwich to discover a slimy green swirl squirted out of a tube. SO GROSS.

awesome bagel shop. the bagel sphere is the real deal- these are authentic, boiled and baked bagels in every conceivable flavor. my favorite is the everything bagel with garlic herb cream cheese. delicious! i like to get a half-dozen day-old bagels ($2.50) and freeze them at home. they also have great coffee & espresso drinks and very friendly service.

Bagel Sphere is downtown right next door to US Bank, so it's my favorite payday lunch spot. I adore the chicken salad bagel, and some of the melts have been good (but a little too rich for me). Great customer service, but they're almost always busy on a weekday.

Horrible bagel and even worse service. All I wanted was a bagel TOASTED with cream cheese. What I got was a cold, hard piece of bread, untoasted with a glob of creamcheese in the middle, not even spread out. I had already driven away when I took my first bite but it was so bad I turned right around. I returned the bagel and asked for one TOASTED. The rude fat lady told me that it was toasted, she saw it come out. Ok, then may I have one EXTRA toasted I asked. She said rudely that she would waste the first one and make a new. I was then yelled to across the cafe if I migjht inspect the retoasted bagel. This one was also not browned. I asked if she would please toast the surface until it appeared light brown. She made such a big deal over me, the customer, asking for a toasted bagel that I finally just got my money back and the heck out of there. Obviously they have no desire to stay afloat in this struggling economy. I did recently get a nice apology from the owner regarding this complaint. I wish her the best of luck hiring staff that will treat customers kindly.
