I have been here a couple times with my step-grandmother because it's her favorite Mexican restaurant. I like it too. My bf enjoyed the chile rellenos, not the best in the world, but good, and I liked the flautas. However, neither Mimmie nor I cared for her arroz con pollo dish. I made some great tacos with that dish, but my main gripe was that there wasn't a lot of arroz (rice). Chicken was generous, however. good Mexican overall but great for Salem area!

Always excellent, fast and friendly service here. The food is really tasty and always hot and fresh. Lots of great options for kids as well. Mira Mar and Marco Blanco burritos are great. The fajitas for two and Nachos are family favorites. You won't be disappointed!

GREAT!! We drove over from Salem, due to many people telling us it is the BEST. 30-minute drive it was well worth the drive. Friendly service, the Blanco Chicken Burrito was so big we took 1/2 back with us. Great food, Great Value. Our new favorite Mexican when in the Salem area.

Miramar is about the standard for Mexican food. There really isn't anything special Miramar; it's like all the other Mexican food place. They do have good services and they are fast. I enjoy eating there once in a while. The portions are decent and made fresh. A nice place to enjoy a meal with family or friends.

Went here with my wife, wife's grandmother, wife's aunt, wife's cousin, wife's second cousin, and my two daughters for dinner. Everybody ordered their own food expect my oldest daughter. Very picky eater. Lucky they had steak and fries on the menu. I ordered that for her with just salt and pepper and medium rare. Otherwise it's comes with onions and tomatoes on it too. My daughter's dinner stole the show when it arrived at the table. Oh my gosh, this top sirloin steak was awesome. My wife, her cousin, and my youngest daughter tried it too. My youngest decided to help herself to big sis steak dinner. Who knew you could get such good steak at a Mexican restaurant? The staff here went above and beyond to take care of our party of eight.

My dining preferences lean towards vegetarian but I do enjoy this restaurant. They are willing to work with you. I'm a huge fan of the salsa and veggie fajita meal. Warm atmosphere and nice for a visit with friends.

Take the drive south to Ixtapa for a much better dining experience!!! We have probably dined at Miramar over 100 times as this establishment has been part of Dallas for over 10 years. The food is pretty good and very authentic. Portions are good and the location is great. The only thing wrong is the service. We have been treated horrible at Miramar after dropping many thousands of dollars in meals, drinks and tips. Numerous times we have been neglected when we need water at our table or something is wrong with one of our meals. We are extremely nice patrons and the staff here used to treat us with respect. We quit dining here after second, third, etc...chances. There is a sister Mexican resaurant in Dallas called Ixtapa, that I understand, is owned by the same people. Ixtapa has all nice wait staff and about the same food. Take the drive south to Ixtapa for a much better dining experience!!!

Stopped in today trying to find good Mexican food in this area because we are used to the Mexican food in the San Diego area. Well, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised that the food was pretty good. Not excellent, but very good. Service was very good, staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be back to sample more of the menu when we get the chance.

Miramar is always a reliable choice, have never had a disappointing meal or service. I try to support local businesses, they give back, parade entries, donations, etc. and their employees shop locally, I know they patronize my business. They get it, I wish them nothing but additional success.

Best Mexican food in Oregon no joke I have literally been to all of them from my previous job as a restaurant marketing consultant and this one is above all others in the state. They give beans along with salsa for snacking with fresh home made chips. A small delightful dessert comes free after every meal! Who else does that!?! Also the food is fantastic!

Best Mole sauce in Oregon, hands down!!! Maybe the best in the West! If you want Mole come here! The area is nice. The restaurant is very clean and everyone is friendly.

I grew up in Dallas and though I don't frequent MiraMar, I very much enjoy every chance I have to eat there. Food is great, including portion size and overall authenticity, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I have never had the bad experiences some of the negative reviews bring up. I hope this place continues to thrive so that I can enjoy it's food for years.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
