Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Look, Pizza Pipeline won't win a taste test between Woodstocks, Cirello's or American Dream. It's also not at the same price point either. It's decent pizza for the price. They deserve props for some recent great service I received. I hosted a community event and had originally placed an order with Nick and Willy's Pizza. Unbeknownst to me until about 40 minutes before the event, N&W's had closed the previous week. I called Pizza Pipeline and asked if they could get 10 pizzas to us in about 35 minutes, and they said No Problem! I also asked if they'd be willing to do a non-profit discount and they happily gave us 15% off our order. Everything arrived on time and was hot and tasty. Great service in a pinch.

I get a slice or two from these guys on the way to class and I highly recommend. I wish they had more options for single slices.

Delicious and fast delivery. This is my son's favorite pizza place in town.

Looking for the best pizza in town? You won't find it here. Want ok food delivered to your door, and don't want to pay a lot for it? Feeling antisocial and want to order online so you don't have to speak to another human being? Try Pizza Pipeline.

This place is very good. My friend turned me on to it by the simple fact of ordering pizza and making me eat it. WOW. The pizza is cooked to perfection, the wings are sublime (tender, juicy, just the right amount of sauce, go well with whatever dip you want), and their drinks come in actually sturdy cups. We ordered from them on Monday night. Two pizzas, two drinks, very simple--they told me on the phone it would be a 45 minute wait, but they arrived in about 30. I'm always up for pizza arriving early to the door! They ran my card when they arrived and took my coupon without any fuss (be nice and mention it over the phone though! I'm sure they appreciate it). The pizza was almost still sizzling and was wonderful. The drinks were still quite cold and fizzy--for a place which is a 10 minute drive from where we were, that is impressive to me. Love it!

I went here to order pizza for a girl's night with a few friends, One of the girls had a coupon for two 1 topping pizzas for $19.99. We ended up not having to use the coupon because it was an ongoing deal. We decided to order one plain cheese pizza and one with sausages. W went back to my apartment to eat. The sausages tasted funky. One of my friends even said fishy. The cheese pizza...well, the cheese wasn't melted all the way and it was really greasy. I will definitely not order pizza here again even if I was desperate for pizza. I'd rather buy frozen pizza.

Worst taste and service for pizza in Corvallis, hands down. I'd rather eat Domino's. I actually had the MANAGER here call and harass a friend of mine on her PERSONAL PHONE the day after she refused to pay for (or accept) a pizza that arrived two hours after she ordered it (she was told it would be half an hour; it was already past midnight). This is inappropriate behavior whether my friend was in the wrong or not, which I don't feel she was. If the pizza was good at all, this may be excusable. Unfortunately, it isn't.

Our daughter who attends, OSU recommended this place because it was cheap, the pizza was pretty decent, plenty of parking and convenient location kiddie corner to Fred Meyer's on King's Blvd. The pizza was ok and when your hungry it kind of was satisfying. My only other pizza comparison in Corvallis is Cirello's on Circle Blvd. and imho, the Pizza Pipeline pizza was tad better. It may not win any "best of" awards, but for the price and easy location to get to, I would grade this place a C+ to a B-.

I frequently order from Pizza Pipeline when I have a lot of people over and not a lot of dinner options. This last time kind of burnt me though. I got a great deal, certainly get a lot for your money but the pizza, like other folks have mentioned is only average. Stoned college kid fare is an accurate description. The last time I ordered the guy who answered was nice, though a little thick (had to explain to him twice what I wanted, even though it was a pretty straight forward order). The delivery girl was the issue. She forgot the wings and I had to chase after her once I realized she didn't drop them off and she also didn't bring straws along with the fountain drinks I ordered. I get that being a pizza delivery girl isn't the greatest job ever, but it also doesn't take a rocket scientist to remember a simple order. I by far prefer Woodstock's or American Dream, but since I am a night owl and always order for a large number of people late at night, Pizza Pipeline is it I guess.

ok. late night munchies. took an hour yet was told 45 minutes for delivery. pizza was ok. bread sticks were too much to eat in one sitting. will probably order again after another late football game.

Pipeline is cheap pizza that tastes respectable. It's not anywhere near the best pizza I've ever had, but there isn't anything bad about it ether. It's WAY better than other "cheap" options like Dominos or LIttle Caesars. And tonight they delivered me a 14" pepperoni pizza with two fountain sodas for $7.99. Not $7.99 plus delivery, just $7.99. You can't beat that! Plus they deliver super-late 7 days a week, in a town where most places close up by 10PM. I'm sold.

  • Natalie W.

More like 3.5 stars, but I wanna help this place out, so 4 stars it is. First of all, I love their 3 slices plus a drink special for $4. Their pizza is pretty decent, though the slices are a bit small. The real plus for me was the fountain drink selection! They had Mountain Dew plus this cream Italian soda, lemonade, fruit punch, Sierra Mist. Between the drinks and the fish tank and the pretty decent deal, the Pipeline is a keeper in my book.

    (4)
  • Sarah M.

The greasy pizza standby for late-night emergencies, i.e. cramming for an exam or craving food while drinking. If you have a large group of people, 26" diameter Colossus can't be beat. It's huge!

    (3)
  • Jason F.

Terrible. Disgusting. We choked down a couple slices, then threw out the rest and bought some actual food.

    (1)
  • Jando S.

Barf. I expected something similar to the Eugene location but after my first bite I soon realized which one was the more evil of the two. This location doesn't appear to be as popular as the other Pizza Pipeline location in Eugene, yet the prices and pizza sizes are virtually identical. Service wasn't bad as the person was very cordial on the phone and the folks were very nice in person. But if the pizza isn't that great, then there is nothing that can save the place from the stones and eggs to be heaved at this place.

  • Matt T.

The first time I had Pizza Pipeline, it reminded me of the kind of pizza my parents would get when we went to drive in theatres, so it really brought back some good memories for me. The pizza has gotten less greasey over the years, but I'd still consider them to be better than many of the other pizza-chain pizzas (Little Caesar's, Pizza Hut, and Domino's). One of the things I do like in particular is the slightly spicey sauce. There's a little tang to it and it's especially noticible on the pepperoni. The take out deals and coupons make it a good deal for some above average pizza. It's not Woodstocks, American Dream, or Papa's, but it'll do.

    (3)
  • Chris F.

Eh its nothing special but then again you really cant beat a carry out 1 topping 16" pizza for $10.99. I don't go there a lot but when I'm craving some quick cheap pizza it gets the job done. I would say its significantly better than any of the other cheap chain places (dominoes, little ceasers, pizza slut, etc)

    (3)
  • Jason K.

By far the best value available for stoned college students with twenty bucks. The only reason I tried this place was a free coupon. The sheer quantity versus dollar value let me know what to expect. Bread with cheese on it is pretty accurate. Not terrible, just not much.

    (2)
  • Frank G.

Worse than bad. I'm impressed mainly by their ability to stay open despite the quality of their food. Being close to campus must help, I guess, but there are so many better options.
