My first visit made me come back a second time. We ordered off of the happy hour menu and got the hot mess and loved it. It was fresh, delicious, juicy brisket and the BBQ sauce on top made it even better. The second time, we decided to take some family friends from out of town after bragging about the flavors the whole time they were here and were fairly disappointed. We again opted for the hot mess and the curly fries were so burnt, they were almost black. There was hardly any BBQ sauce and the brisket was very dry. We also waited for about 35 minutes even though there was nobody else in the restaurant. Another member in our party ordered the tail slider, which was also dry. The only item that wasn't disappointing was the Mac and cheese, which was phenomenal. I would go back again just to get it. Great price, creamy and worth every dollar.

Excellent BBQ. Reasonable prices; some price points across the board from cheap to expensive. I had the pulled pork; it was perfect. A variety of sauces to fit your tastes. Clean. A small but appropriately stocked bar (beers and whiskeys). Centrally located and comfortable, I'd highly recommend.

If tonight had been our first visit to BrewBQ, I'm not sure we'd ever go back. We've been going to BrewBQ since they opened, and tonight is the first time I've been disappointed. Really disappointed, actually. Best thing in the order was the salad... and I can put lettuce in a bowl at home for much less money and effort. The sauces on the table were much more watery than usual -- not sure what that's about. The food was lukewarm and bland. Really kindof bummed about dinner tonight. Three stars, as we've had good food there prior to today. Hoping tonight was just an off night. We shall see how it goes next time... whenever that might be.

The burger was a very tasty burger. My wife had the brisket sandwich, and while it was a little small, it has great flavor. The jalapeño poppers were the real star of the show. While the amount of heat in each popper was wildly different, some were mild and other scorching, overall the flavor was amazing. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a solid meal in Corvallis.

I ordered a la carte, brisket sandwich and chicken breast and wing. Friendly staff, sauces were truly delicious, and decor is appropriate to the setting. Now...the food itself. I wanted to go back into the kitchen and hug the guy. It is the best BBQ I've had in Corvallis, and perhaps the best I have had anywhere except off my own grill. I did not eat any bread from the sandwich. No point. The flavors would have been too muted. This is dry-rubbed barbecue. If you do not slather with sauce, it will be dry. Add bread to that and no sauce, and god it must be awful. To all the non- and newb foodies out there we foodies have this great tip to help you enjoy what you eat! ACCEPT FOOD THE WAY IT'S PREPARED AND EAT IT THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE EATEN. Put malt vinegar on fish and chips, ketchup on fries and bbq sauce on dry-rubbed barbecue. I've never been to Kansas City, but this is the closest I have ever felt to it. I cannot wait to go back.

This was my first visit and I was really happy with my service and food. The decor is right on point and I liked the options of alcohol. I was happy to find they carried so many Two Towns ciders! When we ordered, they were out of ribs and there was an hour long wait for more. We ordered something small then came back later for the ribs. I'm so glad we did! The service was awesome and it was totally worth the wait!

My husband and I visited Brew BQ for the second time. The first time we ordered takeout and expected dining in to be better. Their meats are ok (chicken a little dry) but they can improve their sauces. Good sauce would help the meat be less dry. We love Bomack's so compared to their sauces these need help - they should be thicker and have a range of heat to the favors. The jalapeño poppers were great. The scalloped sweet potatoes aren't really scalloped, they are mashed and shaped into a square. The cole slaw was very good especially with the hot vinegar sauce on it.

I've been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the 2 piece chicken with a side of deviled eggs. And their lemonade is very good. I bring a coworker who recently moved here from Texas. He said it isn't quite Texas bbq but it is better than any around.

So we live in Albany and frequent an establishment that recently move out to hwy 34. And based on my times there, this food needs help. It isnt horrible, it is just there. The lemonade is great. And the jalapeño poppers were good. But that is where my experience ended. The chicken was tasteless. The brisket was just this side of jerky. And the Cole slaw, where to start. Again hate to hate, but not a great experience

The food to me deserves two stars. The helpfulness of the girl at the counter, four stars. All in all, I'll give them three stars, but I doubt I'll be back. After figuring out that this was an order at the counter place, the girl was very helpful in explaining the menu due to us never being there before. After getting a "pit boss" and a beer, I sat down and tried the sauces. I was very glad there were so many options to try, but I didn't like any of them. The sauces were very watery and not very balanced. My friends liked one or two of the sauces, but none really wowed me. When we got our food, it seemed like a great portion and had a nice slight smoke smell. The ribs were not cut up and an end piece with the flap meat still attached and not trimmed very well. No noticeable smoke ring and they were overdone in my opinion. Ribs should have a slight bite to them, not just pull the bone out and chomp away. I can have pot roast if I wanted that. The brisket was a nice slab that was very juicy, yet again, no noticeable smoke ring and very fatty. The chicken breast was very dry and lacked any flavor as well. The saving grace was the mac and cheese which was cooked nicely and had bits of bacon and cheese, and the baked beans. They had tons of flavor. With places like Bo-macks in Albany and Adams rib shack in Salem, I think I'll get my barbecue fix at my own home or at one of those other places. This place does have great prices and friendly service though. Also, a pretty decent happy hour menu with good specials.

I ordered a shredded pork sandwich, beer on tap, deviled eggs and smoked mac and cheese. The sandwich seemed dry and I was very glad that I had ordered beer (this place also gets major points for having the Fort George Cavatica stout on tap. My favorite beer!) and discovered the sauces on a nearby table. Deviled eggs were tasty, thought the pinkish color of the filling I thought was funny. I think someone mixed paprika into the mix. It wasn't unpleasant, but a little off putting. Mac and cheese was creamy and defiantly had a smoky flavor to it. The one thing I found really strange was that the tables didn't have salt and pepper shakers on them. I'm a a salt fan on my mac and cheese and I had to search around to discover they had a side table (or maybe a re-purposed fireplace mantle?) with shakers on it. I thought this was a little weird. Over all I would say that this BBQ is solidly good, but it seemed to have been a little dry the night we stopped in.

Not the worst food ever but definitely wasn't very good. First time in and probably last. Service was friendly but the food was dry and flavorless. Absolutely no smoke ring and the brisket was cut like a piece of birthday cake.
