This place is good for fast food. If you're in a bind and need something quick that won't make you feel disgusting this is the place to go.

Love this place. Fresh, healthy food. Tastes great. Wished they had better to go cartons and could do better with off menu orders or adjustments. But overall I love this place and great for the price.

This place is bomb! They used to have a great deal (coupon on your receipt) buy one burrito get one free. I think they've done away with this though. They have an awesome happy hour too. The prices are reasonable and their salsa bar is my favorite. I've been to other Baja's and they definitely are not up to par like this one. It gets pretty busy here during lunch hour, FYI.

My family and I have always liked their food. I especially like the Fajitas. The price is right and the food from the grill is tasty. But I can not recommend this place because of food safety concerns. Several times now, and I do mean several, as in 3-4 or more times, my wife and I have been in here and observed their female workers sweeping (very briskly) all the dust, germs and dirt on the floor directly toward the open salsa bar. They keep sweeping, even near their eating guests and it's always towards and sometimes up against the Salsa Bar. Just think of what gets transferred from the bathroom floors to the eating area on your shoes... We won't eat here again... ever!!!!! The County Health Inspectors need to come observe this behavior that is often seen the last hour before closing. It wouldn't be so much of an issue, but they save their Salsa and put it out again the next day. I can't say if this occurs earlier in the day since I can't/won't make it in for lunch.

I haven't eaten here in a while and compared it to Chipotle in another review so I needed to check my game in a argument with my buddy Tim B on here. I really like the place. I think more than chipotle. Had the chicken taquito platter today for $6.99. It came with sour cream, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, rice and beans, and a queso fundito sauce to dip them in. Wow. Also came with five instead of the usual three I see at places like Rigobertos or Muchas. They were all very good and the salsa bar with six or so different kinds of salsa and peppers made me happy that I could choose which I wanted and how much of it. Also the chips while you wait for your order was a nice touch. Much more of a variety here than Chipotle and they also have baja fish tacos that you can either have grilled or fried. Nothing here is frozen, canned, or artificial like Chipotle laments, however I know it is probably not organic or local. For a small chain, this place is awesome and head and shoulders above taco bell. I myself like it better than Chipotle, but to each their own.

Certainly better than Taco Bell! More expensive than typical Mexican fast food, but the quality is better, when it is properly prepared. Caution needed in that we have had several "meat items" come out from the kitchen in basically a raw state. Some like rare meat...I'm talking raw steak, as an example. Suggest getting the refillable drink cup if you visit at least twice a month...will definitely save you money. Salsa bar allows "customization" and is appreciated.

This place is healthy, fresh, nearly flavorless, uninspired Mexican fast-food. The staff is pretty neutral. The atmosphere is clean. The salsa bar is amazing, as are the complementary chips. Over all, "meh."

No complaints. Love the fresh food, price is right. Love the nachos and the tostada salad.

Baja Fresh is fresh and moderately more healthy than McD's and KFC, but it's still fast food. The high points are the cleanliness of the place and the friendly service, and their salsa bar of 6 different salsas plus peppers and cilantro ain't too shabby. The food is ok, and the portions are moderately sized. You pay a little extra for the "freshness" I guess. My Filet Primo Taco, with what I assume to be their play on Filet Mignon in a taco, was lacking a bit in flavor. The beef tasted a bit like jerky, though it was tender, and the avocado had no flavor. Overall, the food is certainly fresh, but was still bland and had the "prepared by a dude reading off instructions" feel of a fast food place. The salsa bar helps a little, but still falls behind the flavor of a real Mexican place.

Another one of my favorites. Clean food with no MSG. Always fresh and tasty. If you go between 2:00 and 5:00 they have an even less expensive menu for certain items. Usually very clean store. I love the Baja Tacos. Lionel Wilson Local Realtor LionelWilson.com

Decent for fast food chain. Nothing to get excited about though. La Roca/La Rockita is just up the road, similar or cheaper prices, and more authentic food.

Not a bad Mexican fast food chain. Somewhat healthier than Taco Bell or Green Burrito. Sometimes the food can be a bit bland so the salsa bar is a definite plus. Probably the best time to go is during "happy hour" which is 2-5pm because they offer a happy hour menu that allows you to fill up inexpensively.

I love Baja Fresh. The salsa bar and chips are great. The spicy queso is a must buy. The service is very friendly and the food is always amazing.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
