Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

Great food, fast and friendly service. They even remade my son's entire turkey burger when he dropped half his bun on the floor! Thank you!

Just an F.Y.I, BV No longer offers baskets as an option. Everything is sold ala carte. How we were told the reason is the cost of meat & cheese prices have risen such to the point where they couldn't offer the basket prices anymore. For $14 we got a 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. WHAT? For $5 more we could have went to The Wild Hare & gotten better deals. No thank you anymore.

I love the friendliness of this place. The staff are always smiling and very helpful. the shakes are real and thick and delicious! I havent tried anything here I didnt like. I wait anxiously for the walla walla sweet onion rings, fresh strawberry shortcake or the blackberry milkshakes. The halibut sandwich is wonderful. They recently started recycling so the staff wait on the tables. I appreciate a business that is concerned about the environment. This place makes me happy to be a NW gal:)

I love Burgerville cheeseburgers, Colossal burgers and the breakfast bagel sandwiches are delish. The employees in Canby are friendly and attentive. However the downside to Burgerville is the prices. They seem to get higher all the time. Call me crazy but $1.75 or $1.95 for a tiny cheeseburger is a bit steep! I'm sure that can get spendy for a family with a few hungry kids. I make it a point to get my BV cheeseburger fix whenever they have the 5 for 5 cheeseburger sale (or some variation of that) which has been a holiday weekend trend but sadly not this Memorial Day. :(

I grew up coming here, as long as I can remember our trips to Oregon were never complete unless we stopped at Burgerville. This location in particular has been a location that I remember going to the most, and I've never had a problem with them, but recently they started going down hill, and the last visit a few weeks ago was the straw that broke the camels back. The staff was not very friendly, they messed up our order, and when we brought it back to the counter, everyone stared at us, but no one offered to see what was wrong for several minutes The food was not good at all, it was lukewarm to cold, and just didn't taste good at all. Getting cold food, after waiting a while to get it, doesn't make me want to go out of my way to go there again. I'm just so glad that Canby has grown so much over the past few years, and there are more options of places to eat at now, because we won't be stopping here anymore.

Happiest staff EVER. So friendly, pretty amazing. Is there something in Canby's water system??? Food same ol' Burgerville standards and quality. Worth a visit!

Tried the rosemary chicken. Pathetic chicken and lettuce sand. Green Beans with aioli were awesome.

Growing up with family in Oregon, Burgerville is always a special and sentimental treat. I appreciate their dedication to sustainability, locality, and healthier options within the fast food realm. Always got to the get the go to colossal burger, with their special sauce, sweet potato fries if in season, or criss cross if not. Will remain a treat the 1-2 times per year I am in Oregon.

The service is super slow and every time I have been here it seems like non of the workers know what they are supposed to be doing, poor management. The food isn't prepered the best either. I have been to other burgerville and they seem to be able to make a hamburger but not this one. Its a shame too because the next closed ones is oregon city or Newberg.

You know how when you are somewhere new and don't have Yelp with you it feels safe to go to a chain? So it was yesterday. Our pick for a Mexican place was closed for some reason, so there we were. Burgerville--always a pretty good bet, right? Ugh..the new WallaWalla onion burger was slimy with onions and way to peppery (ok maybe it is supposed to be that way) but I didn't care for it at all. Even the bun was strange. And the Walla Walla onion rings are here...but they were HUGE..too huge to really enjoy. because they were so greasy...however they were much better cold if that says anything. And the whipped cream on the top of the blackberry shake looked coagulated or something weird. Sorry BV I really wanted to have a nice meal and like you, but I took the Yelp oath and have to be honest. Better luck next time.

This store is horrible. It seems everytime we come here im hoping its better but no.. now on this night its late.. 11:30pm the only thing fresh were the frys. My double cheese burger was cool room temp at best same with the colossal burger. Yes its late and close to closing but my money still has the same valueif that burgers been sitting out for hours it should be tossed not resold. Crap crap crap... never again

Came here on a busy Sunday. The employees were very friendly and service was very expedient. They even bus your tables for you and do a composting program with all the waste. This is a great place to get great burgers (with real cheese!) and awesome milkshakes, or you can make it a smoothie instead and get it made with froyo! I would definitely recommend.

Had the fish (Halibut) sandwich with fries.......... at Burgerville and have a fish sandwich?.....what's wrong with me? Well, lets just say it didn't look like the picture. O.o Should have got a burger...did I say I should have had a burger? The catch of the day came out hot...that's good right? For the price it was not a good purchase. Over cooked and smashed, wrapped in a paper wrap. Burgerville not how I remember.

I just don't understand the pull of Burgerville. I went there today because of the Walla Walla onion rings which I must admit were pretty darn good..get the small order of 3 because they are huge. My issue here is with the burgers. No matter what I have tried, I am just not impressed with either the quality or taste of their burgers and they are expensive. There are many better places in town to get a good quality burger. I think when it comes to Burgerville I will stick to the specialties like the onion rings and rosemary fries and skip the main dish all together.

I really wanted to love this place. We were driving up I5 on a road trip and made a special detour just to try it out. I had a double cheeseburger, which cost me over $6 for the burger alone. It tasted ok but not great, pretty typical of a normal fast food burger. Not to be a jerk, but I had a double cheeseburger at In-N-Out a few days earlier which cost a little under $4, and was a lot tastier. I hear great things about Burgerville, but from what I saw it was expensive and mediocre. I left with a new appreciation of In-N-Out, in fact: that they can produce such good fresh food with such efficiency at such a reasonable price. My friend was trying to save some money and got a standard cheeseburger, for around $3. It was as bare bones as you could imagine. All in all, Burgerville is just lackluster, sorry.

Probably the best fast-food in town. The food is not pre-made and is fresh when you order. A bit expensive for what it is but it's pretty good. I like the Crispy Chicken Sandwich personally.

I can't help it. Im a burgerville addict. While trying to get healthier....this is the one spot I have NOT been able to cross off my list. Having grown up coming here, I can't seem to stop. They must be putting an addictive substance (cocoaine???) in their special sauce. I LOVE IT!!! I used to play bingo with the local lovely older folks to cheat them out of free drinks, ice cream, and burgers. They loved me and I miss them!!! The other day I even saw some kids doing karaoke in there??? Not sure if they're still doing this. Regardless its my favorite fast food stop bar none, and you can't beat the free juke box machine!!!

5 stars for milkshakes-delicious and thick and the special flavors change with the seasons. 4.5 stars for using local produce, beef, bread and real Tillamook cheese and dairy and other things. Decent fries, decent burger, nice fish for fish and chips (halibut) and I would definitely come back. For a local fast food chain-it is worth a trip. This particular location is one of the "older models" or so said the boyfriend's Dad. The wonderful 83 year old grandmother liked her chicken sandwich and loved her pumpkin milkshake, so that made me happy.

You gotta love the seasonal shakes and the fact that they try to stay with local ingredients!

Had a Chocolate Monkey made with YoCream. Didn't taste the chocolate at all. Didn't even look like there was any chocolate in it. So, it must have been simply a Banana smoothie. I called and mentioned it to a lady named Amelia, who was very polite and took down my name and said I had a free Chocolate Monkey next time I came in. Definitely made it right. Their food is very good, and the establishment is clean. Staff all seem very polite and customer oriented.

This little burger joint is pretty good. I love the fries and not to mention the special sauce they put on the burgers!!!! I grew up with Burgerville and whenever I go home, Its one of the first stops for a cheese burger and milk shake!
