I highly suggest their lunch time buffet. Great taste of Indian Cuisine. And you can eat as much as you want! Their tea is also enjoyable. Love their desserts....mango ice cream, yum! They also have belly dancing and live music during special events.

I recommend the lunch time buffet. For $10, it was worth having a high variety of quality Indian food.

Enjoyed the lunch buffet. Food was tasty but not exceptional. I gave it an extra star because we came in at 3:00 p.m. and the buffet was being removed, so it probably wasn't the past time to taste the food

This place was really busy and it took a while for service, but it was worth the wait! The food was delicious. The naan was great. Service was also great. I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes Indian food.

Get the Paneer Makhani & some Garlic Naan. You will not regret this. I love this place, as does my best friend who happened to grow up in India. So there!

We enjoyed the food and the owners hospitality. Portions are generous, it is easy to order too much.

I went here for dinner, tired of the other places I had been frequenting in Astoria while visiting for work. I really should have stopped by Himani sooner. Tasty food, decent value and friendly service. Worth the visit, I'm looking forward to trying the lunch buffet.

Indian Restaurants are a rarity on the coast unlike the Portland area where they are on every corner. This restaurant opened recently (a couple of months ago) and offers a Saturday lunch buffet - good for visitors like me that are only there on the weekend. Many of the Indian restaurants in the Portland area only have lunch buffet during the week. The price is slightly high at $10 for the lunch buffet, but we are talking about the Coast where everything is slightly higher than Portland. So I tried the lunch buffet and I thought it was good. They had a variety of meat dishes including a goat one (yes they do cook with goat). The tandoori chicken and butter chicken was really good. I also liked the chicken bryani??? not sure of the spelling but it is a chicken and rice dish. They also had some vegetarian dishes including a spinach and potato and a tandoori style potato dish. I also liked the rice, and the carrot treat with a sweet cardamon sauce. A good experience overall and really nice, clean atmosphere. The wait staff were all really nice and helpful. A place I will likely visit again.

My favorite restaurant, hands down, in Astoria. Well if really prodded it's a tie with another locale... I digress. It's a family owned and operated restaurant. The service, very kind, polite, and caring - attentive needless to say. The main attraction is the food, of course. I've posted pictures of the glorious food we partook. My pictures can paint something worth a thousand words. They do not however have smell-o-vision, nor taste-o-vision. If available technologically, you would be here post haste. I highly recommend you experience Himani for yourself!

1 star for ambience 1 star for food 1 star for having so less veggie options Everything was cold here, bread, rice and all dishes; Definitely not a place to have Indian food; if this is your first time eating Indian food, I feel bad that you had it here; Indian food is far far more delicious than what you had here; I would like you give it another try; for others, if u are dying to eat Indian, then may be u can come here else go somewhere and eat good food

Went here on a Saturday for dinner. We wanted to try their lunch buffet but looks like they are not open for lunch on Saturdays. We ordered the Bondas for appetizer which was ok. For Entrees we tried the Plain Dosa and Poori. Both were pretty good and tasted more south indian. In the end we had the Madras coffee and Mango kulfi. The Mango Kulfi tasted more like mango icecream and i didnt taste anything like Kulfi in it. Overall, the food was pretty decent and its hard to find an Indian restaurant anywhere nearby in Astoria, Seaside or Cannon beach.

Great lunch buffet and excellent service. I was impressed by the number of dishes at the buffet, larger than most Indian restaurants I've been to. Each dish is nicely labeled, including indication of dairy products (if I remember correctly). I have no idea what the names of the dishes are, but I enjoyed several chicken dishes, the naan bread and two rices, fried veggies, spinach with cheese, and potatoes. I especially liked the veggie chow mein noodles and mango mousse, along with the numerous different sauces. There was also a kale salad and stew that I didn't have room for. I would have preferred that the food be hotter temperature-wise, but everything was still warm enough (and that's what you get with buffets, right?) This place is bigger than I expected and has lovely decor, along with soothing music. Great place to bring a group. The server was quick to fill my water and clear my plates, which I always appreciate. Adult lunch buffet price is $12, which is a bit more than I usually spend. Lower prices for kids and seniors.

LOVE Himani and have been frequenting them since they were selling delicious fare down at the Sunday Market. REALLY do miss the shrimp tikka masala though. Never a disappointment :)

Best Indian food we have had in a long time! The family is really nice and the food is fresh and excellent! We highly recommended the Gobi 65 vegetarian appetizer!

This was our first visit here and we were blown away!. Even though they seemed unprepared for the wave of people who flooded in at their 5 o'clock opening, they kept things moving and the wait was more than acceptable. But the food....it was wonderful! I eat in a lot of Indian Restaurants when I'm travelling because of the veg/vegan options, so I've tasted the good, the bad and the ugly. These guys had a unique and delicious way with their spices that was not quite like anything else I have tasted, but my wife and I loved it. To find an eatery of this quality in a small town was a joy. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I come through Astoria.

Not sure why the high review. The food was bland even thou I ordered medium heat no spice at all. Small portions for the price. Our waitress had a baby hanging off the front of her. I found that quit odd.

  • Rachel J.

I am super glad we ate here for dinner. However, when we first pulled up we were a little leery because their front windows were boarded up. Turns out they were remodeling. Then, we walked in (around 5:30pm) and we were the only customers! Not sure what was up with that, but by the time we left it was mostly full. After perusing the menu, we had some questions about what was gluten and dairy free. The waitress was KICK ASS! She knew her ingredients, big time. Five stars for that! We ordered the appetizer platter and our allergy person could eat 3/5 of the appetizers. They were all fried, though. The three entrees we ordered all came quickly, were hot and delicious, and there was plenty of food for the take home baggie.

This place is a little beauty in Astoria. It doesn't matter what you order it will be fresh and authentic. This is a review for dinner not lunch buffet. We had the lamb saag and it is the best that we have had in the States. The Tandoori chicken is good but it is not baked in a tandoor oven and arrives on a sizzling plate, nevertheless it was very tasty. Just go and enjoy.

Finding a place to eat at 8 pm on Christmas Day can be a challenge in Astoria. Just as we were about to throw in the towel we noticed this place. Doesn't look like much from the outside which makes it a pleasant surprise once you step in. We had a flat bread appetizer and two lamb/curry dishes. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. Portion size could be a little bigger but I did not leave hungry so apparently it was just right. Very pleasant surprise for the holiday.

  • Meg S.

Was not satisfied with the food. Came here for buffet. Extremely bland. Food wasn't warm. Service was terrible. Very disasatisfied. Very few veggie options.

  • Ronda S.

Sincerely the BEST Indian meal I have ever had. I went with my parents for the lunch buffet. I have now requested whenever I visit we have a meal here. Everything had its own individual flavour palette. The mango mouse was a delightful surprise. The naan was just perfect compliment to all choices. And for a buffet the choices were plentiful. The chicken dishes were moist. Each mouthful seemed to compliment the next. The service was gracious but not intrusive. Even the music added to a relaxed ambiance and a treasure in the heart of Astoria. Plan on a visit to this gem of India.

Our favorite restaurant in Astoria. We eat here probably once a week. We've done the buffet but our favorite is dinner; Chicken Makhani for me, Tikka Masala for my husband... and of course, the naan! When we moved here from a larger city, we were concerned we might not get good Indian food again - thank goodness we were wrong! Service is great, quiet, romantic environment, and excellent food.

  • B E.

I'm not a fan of Indian cooking, but my husband said we should try something different (I have had Indian food before and curry makes me gag, not sure why). The husband was actually right this time-- The restaurant, first of all, is beautiful. Our waiter was fantastic and super friendly. We ordered the samosas--pastries with seasoned potatoes and peas--and they were great! Very flavorful! I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was very happy with it. My husband ordered the curry (of course) and loved it. We were super happy here and definitely plan to go back!

Great Indian food in a small town. The food is high quality, well-made, and tastes delicious. My only gripe is that the main dish did not come with as much protein (chicken, in my case) as I would have hoped for how much it cost. The meat was at least of superior quality so it was still satisfying nonetheless. I would go here again if in the area.

Must get chai tea with your meal. Bring some friends and enjoy the day with a walk around after.

  • Ashok R.

Great place. Only 20mins from seaside. When we travel we always get hungry for Indian food after 2 days of other kinds. The food was at its best. We arrived about 8:35 close to their closing time. We ordered mango lassi, chicken Biriyani, panner mukhani, poori and some naan. We also had assorted veg and tandoor mix for appetizer. Friendly staff and clean place. Must go if you are in seaside

  • Kyeli S.

The food here is excellent, the atmosphere is lovely. Great, low-key music. The owners are very kind and helpful. My wife loves the lemon rice above all things, and even though it wasn't on the menu, they made it specially for her - and added it to the buffet when they knew we were coming back. Everything we've tried has been amazing! And they're fully wheelchair accessible, even the bathroom.

  • Chrissy H.

This was a wonderful quiet restaurant. The gentleman that served us was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the chicken curry, which they have named differently, and it was some of the best we have ever eaten.

  • Sophia K.

I had this restaurant cater an event of about 100 people and the food was so good! They were prompt in getting back to us in a timely fashion and since I personally had no clue of what all these people would want in Indian food I told Himani to make their most requested dishes. It was very good and I recommend going there. I have been to the restaurant itself also and I would say the food is just as good. They priced a little more than I would have expected when they catered but price wasn't really an object in this even. What they charged came out to be about 20.89 per person. But it was worth it and it's obviously cheaper in the restaurant than it is if you have them cater.

Life savior ! We were craving for Indian dinner while returning home and found this gem on the way. Their food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. I am giving only 4 star because their entry was too small but over all great!

My favorite place to eat in Clatsop County. For the buffet at lunch time or for their dinner service the food is always amazing. Never been disappointed with the quality of food and the cleanliness of the establishment is superb. Love it.

  • Ellen B.

This is a very good place, with great service and a nice, clean atmosphere. The food is outstanding! Probably the best Indian food I've had on the west coast. It's my fav place in Astoria, hands down! The lunch buffet offers a wide variety of well made, authentic choices! If you like Indian foood, this will hit the spot!!

  • Chandan J.

As a person raised around Indian food, I was disappointed compared to other restaurants I have been to. Quality of food was a little above average but nothing great. However, expect to pay a large price for a little quantity.

Our favorite dinner in Astoria. Rich and complex favors. Delicious and fresh. The people are very nice too. A unique place in Astoria. I was torn between trying other things in town and eating there every night of our trip. We are glad we tried it.

  • Judith H.

Very, very good. I'm not usually adventurous in my restaurant selection but my family really wanted to try Himani's. I found the Samosa appetizers delicious, the Mushroom & pea curry dish was very good. My family raved over the chicken kaidai & aloo gobi. Service was helpful, friendly & attentive. Highly recommend giving it a try, even if you're not used to Indian food.

  • Paul C.

Very very good. Don't miss this place if you crave Indian cuisine while in the area. Pricing isn't bad and the service is good for dinner. The mango lassi was delicious!!!

  • Chris B.

This place does a "standard" version of Indian: red curries, rice, naan. We had the lamb vindaloo, which was really good, and the chicken tikka masala, which was heavy on the yogurt (although still tasty.) The garlic naan was great. The rice was just rice, with no spices. Service was attentive, but that was in part because we were one of two couples in the whole place at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. Two dings against the place: as of June 2014, they don't serve *any* alcoholic beverages. I like having a Kingfisher lager with Indian, but I was out of luck. Also, we ordered medium spice level, but it was very, very mild; I think they must be doing that thing Indian restaurants do all too often and under-spice out of fear of offending American tastebuds. To sum up: totally tasty Indian that could be better seasoned, and they need a liquor license. I hope that business picks up for them, as I would guess the food will improve over time (they just opened recently.)

Met the owner and enjoyed food samples at the weekend Astoria market a few years ago, been enjoying Himani regularly since then. Having had both lunch and dinner I do prefer the lunch. If your not a regular of Indian cuisine lunch buffet is perfect at the price get to know your soon to be favorites. Staff has always been top notch in service even during peak times. Try the bright orange mango desert.

  • Ashish K.

Simply outstanding food and to find it at Astoria was quite surprising. By far one of the best paper dosa I've had in the states! The service was really good and the owners really pleasant people. Even the punjabi food was sooo good, we got the kadhai paneer and dal makhani and both were amazing. They served us 4 kinds of pickles and they were all so unique! I wish we stayed closer but will defi come again if we ever visit Astoria again!

  • Lynette B.

Authentic flavorful, wonderful food! We ordered the plate with several combinations of meats. The sauce is fantastic (comes on the side). You must have the mango lassi, made from their homemade yogurt and mango puree. I'd have one (or two) daily if I lived here! Enjoy!

  • Keith H.

Absolutely delicious. Had the Chicken Tikka and ended up licking the plate. Who knew I would have some of the best Indian food ever in Astoria, OR?

  • Aaron D.

This place was great! The lunch buffet was amazing and just ten bucks with Chai tea included! I had kale salad, pakoras, spinach dal, broccoli/potato aloo, eggplant rice, raita, pickled carrots, coriander chutney, rice pudding, other desserts and entrees (we didn't try any of the meat). Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Never been for Dinner, but this is an exceptional lunch spot. Quite a treasure for such a small town like Astoria that we can get top notch indian food. I had the buffet for lunch. The Tandori chicken was fantastic. As was the goat curry and another chicken dish I can't recall the name of. All and all I thought the value was fantastic and the quality of the food as well. I will make this a regular lunch spot.

  • Shirley S.

Open for Sunday dinner, so glad Yelp was wrong!! The four of us arrived about 7:30 and were the only people in the place, which can be a little unsettling, but in this case any fears were unfounded. The appetizer plate was really delicious and the batter just right. All our entrees were perfect. We ate too much naan to have dessert!!! We'll be back the next time we're in town.

    (4)
  • Matthew B.

The lunch buffet was a good introduction to Indian food for us novices! The quality of the food was good and it seemed reasonably fresh for a buffet. I think that the buffet was the only option during lunch hours, but I'm not sure. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and well decorated.

    (4)
  • Ben K.

We shared five dishes, including an appetizer and garlic naan. Every dish was bland and lacked the unique smells and flavors you expect and normally get with Indian cuisine. We ordered two dishes with "hot" spice, but only one reached any level of heat and it was a custom dish that wasn't on the menu (egg marsala, which they charged a ridiculous $18 for!). Being the only game in town probably affords the restaurant some room to not be on their A-game always, but we likely won't be returning, unless we're just really hungry for Indian food.

  • Erin B.

I have had Indian food in a quite a few larger cities, and still, this remains at the top of my LOVE list!!! This is one of those restaurants I find myself craving all the time. Chicken Tikki Masala with Naan, I die. I could eat this everyday of the week if my wallet would allow. This is absolutely my favorite place to eat in Astoria, it's run by a husband and wife team that know what they're doing! They are two very delightful people that after the second or third time of stopping in, knew us and greeted us like friends. I will recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!!

  • Ryan D.

I can drive from Hillsboro to this place just to eat the food. The buffet is one of the best i have had in Oregon. Many varieties of non-veg and veg dishes. The mango mousse is a must try. The serving staff was very friendly. The price for such a buffet is very reasonable.

  • Coralie C.

Wow! I did not expect to have such delicious Indian food here on the coast! We were craving Indian food one day, and thought I would drop by for the lunch buffet. We were not disappointed! There was so much variety for both vegetarians and carnivores and the quality of food was top notch! Flavors delicious, price is reasonable, and great service. Definitely give this place a try if you're ever in Astoria. It makes you forget your cravings for fish and chips ;)

  • Ahmad R.

We had a sampler appetizer, which was okay (lots of fried), and the chicken tikka. It's worth a stop if you like Indian food, but I feel I didn't find their best option yet.

  • Ben C.

This is quite literally the best of any restaurants in Astoria. I have tried just about everything on their menu with great satisfaction. The best way to experience this place is with some friends so everyone can share a bit of each other's dishes. The atmosphere has always been calm even when they're busy and everyone on the staff is friendly courteous and attentive. The prices can seem a little high for dinner and that makes this more of a special occasion place for me but the flavors and the crew are more than worth it. If you want to not spend too much hour up their lunch Buffett, just as good. Not a large selection but they frequently switch up what they put out. The food isn't spicy unless you ask and even then it is plenty bearable, though they're starting to recognize us and we've noticed the heat going up when we ask. I simply could not ask for more, amazing.

Very good, large potions, the only reason not 5 stars is no wine ir beer available. Definetly recommended if you love Indian cuisine

Solid Indian Food and an excellent value if you hit up the buffet (~10$). Prior to this place opening in Astoria I knew little about Indian food short of Tandoori Chicken. I like that they mix up the buffet food as I have found may dishes I would have never considered ordering before. The service is friendly and they make sure to encourage you to go back for more. I have left this Establishment beyond stuffed on numerous occasions. They also serve their food at Sunday Market.

i love it. I have been to the lunch buffet several times and once to dinner. This rating is from someone who is often disappointed by Indian restaurants in Oregon. I highly recommend it.

I want to make an addendum to my review that Himani has changed their iced tea policy and now offers free refills. Smart move folks. Gold Star for mixing up the variety for the lunch buffet as well. It is always fun to see some new flavours on the buffet when we are there for repeat visits in a short duration of time. The mango mousse seems to be quite popular, though not my thing. Would love to see some barfi as a sweet temptation. There are so many varieties of Indian cuisine, the buffet is a wise spot to showcase some of your regular menu items to entice customers to come in for dinner and enjoy. Only small complaint is some of the items on the buffet are starting to taste overly salty. I am a salt-a-holic, so coming from me that says something. I have noticed others commenting about it as well. Naan is beginning to be overcooked more often as well.

Finally an Indian Restaurant!! Very yummy ! I highly recommend. Plenty of seating and nice clean decor. Friendly staff. Butter Chicken was my favorite and their samosas were very yummy!! I can't wait to go back. I have to try this place for lunch and try their buffet. I have had their food at the Sunday Market and I'm glad they opened a restaurant here.

  • Jaimito B.

I have eaten quite a bit of indian food in my life. Definitely one of my favorite foods. I have cooked indian as well, so I'm somewhat familiar with what goes into the dishes. Himani is top notch indian food. A lot of indian restaurants have identical menus with the same dishes as all the others. Himani has a few of those dishes and a lot of exotic ones. The ingredients used are fresh and high quality. The buffet is good too. Not as good as ordering a meal, but I think that is to be expected, unless you get there the moment that the food is put out. Edit: Himani got their liquor license, so I moved the rating to 5 stars

Well, when you're in Astoria, you're pretty much limited to standard American fare or Fultano's, right? Well, we weren't in the mood for some other type of food and this place had just opened recently. I am so glad we sauntered in to this joint! They hit the spice just right on our dinner dishes. It was very spicy but more in flavor than in heat. They were very gracious and attentive to our table. The food was just the right amount. Not too much, not to little for two people. We ordered two entrees, naan and some pakoras. We had enough for a take home container with our bellies stuffed. Their ingredients tasted very fresh and had loads of flavor. I would highly recommend this place for eating in Astoria.

We've eaten lunch here several times on our way driving from Portland and never have been disappointed. Lorinda and Sujay are such perfect hosts, the service is great and the food wonderful. The curries are full bodied with just a bit of heat--ideal for our taste.

Plenty of flavorful items on the lunch buffet. Options for veg & non-veg. $10 - a deal, for a nice sit down meal. Clean, simple furnishings.

I've never had Indian food this salty before. Food: 2 (It was a buffet, but there was nothing special at all. At all.) Value: 2 (10$ for a buffet in a small town is kind of steep, especially due to the lack of variety) Atmosphere: 3 (A cute, repurposed space. It used to be an English tea house. They spruced it up nicely) Service: 2 (It depends on who you get. One person was clueless, one totally knew what he was talking about. Fortunately, we served ourselves.) Sustainability: 1 (Didn't see anything special) Drinks: N/A (I didn't have anything) I rolled into this place one fine day while in Astoria. I was anxious to try it, as Indian is one of my favourite kinds of food ever. I had 3 friends with me, and we all agreed that the food, honestly, kind of sucked. Well, we actually had a party of six, but they were vegans, so you know how that ends. Yeah, they went elsewhere. Sorry guys. Dairy. (This is actually where the service came into play: they asked for vegan food upon walking in and the help said they had vegetarian. When they asked to order something of the menu, she had no clue that they did that. About 5 minutes after our friends left, another server came with menus. Oops. No harm, no foul, we all know how it is difficult to eat out when being vegan. Or should I have said no harm, no fowl?) The potato masala that was available was WAY too salty. And this is coming from a dude who could salt an already-salted pretzel. I love me some salt, but crimey, there was no other flavour in this. The chicken makhani was OK, but there was no char to the tandoori chicken at all. The biryani was unimpressive, and everything else I had just sort of fell flat. The naan was delivered fresh from the kitchen and it was OK. But there weren't any chutneys or pickles available at all. Here's the deal: I know Astoria is excited about this place. And given the food options in Astoria, I would be too. But the comparisons to Chennai Masala in Hillsboro (a place I only know of through legend) have to be misplaced. Because this wasn't even as good as India Oven, the only other place I've had crappy Indian food other than in England. The owners sound nice, and the reviews I saw on the local paper's website were all glowing. But it didn't deliver. It was under spiced, bland, and great for old, white people trying to be 'adventurous'. Here's the other thing, though. I know better than to judge a place on its buffet merits alone. I will give it a try for dinner the next time (ok, maybe the time after that) that I'm in Astoria. Because I want there to be Indian food in Astoria like Astorians do. If I judged India House on their buffet, it would only be a touch better than this, and their dinners are frickin' awesome. So, Himani, you will get another chance. Until then, try adding some cumin, cayenne, and black pepper and pare back on the NaCl, OK?

Great food, great atmosphere. Very clean and inviting. High quality granite tables, brand new booths and chairs. Food service was speedy but not suspiciously fast, I've personally never had Indian cuisine before however my wife and I will become regulars.

I am not a connoisseur of Indian food, so do not take this review as being from an expert. In fact, I knew very little about what to expect. My 13 yr old son was terrified before we walked in because he didn't know what to expect. The space is decorated nicely and we received a warm greeting. Plenty of people around as well. We ordered the Chicken 65, the Tandoori Chicken and the Chicken Biriyani, and some Naan. It was all delicious. The biriyanin is even better with the raifa(?). It is a yogurty, cucumbery sauce similar to tzaziki. It cools off the heat and mellows the spices in the dish. The naan was delicious and the Chicken 65 was less spicy than it looked like it would be. Overall we enjoyed it, and will be back. Prices were very reasonable. $35 for two entrees, the naan, and an appetizer.

Was surprised to find this place. Thought we had hit all the decent restaurants in Astoria. It was a Sunday afternoon so we had the buffet which was a great value for 10 bucks. Lots of choices all fresh and many that we're vegan options. I will definitely go her again. My easily upset stomach is also very happy and quiet.

When we moved from Portland to Astoria last year, as taken as we were with this great river town, we lamented the lack of authentic ethnic restaurants. Then I noticed a sign in a papered-up window on Marine Drive announcing that Himani would be opening soon. I was delighted to learn that it would be an Indian restaurant, as this is one of my favorite cuisines (we lived in the Middle East for several years, and there were dozens of great little Indian restaurants serving cheap but delicious Indian food to the Indian and Afghani expats. We ate at these restaurants at least twice a week and tried a wide variety of very authentic dishes). When Himani finally opened, we were happy to find that they serve masala dosa. Such a great, simple, interesting Southern Indian dish--instant comfort food--that is actually very hard to find in the Portland area. Their dosa is great, very similar to what we had in the Middle East, right down to the chutneys and sambar served along with it. Yum! We have been back several times, and everything we have ordered has been great. We really love their lamb dishes, perhaps because it's hard to find lamb at restaurants here in the US. The only Indian restaurant I've been to in Oregon that has been better is Chennai Masala in Hillsboro, and I would say they are only marginally better. Thank you so much for opening in Astoria, Himani! Masala Dosa forever!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! It was delicious! The samosas were excellent. I had the saag aloo and it is one of the best I've had. I asked for medium spicy and it wasn't very spicy. I could've went for hot. The lamb cilantro was really good too. The naan was amazing and buttery! I was so excited to find out that there was an Indian restaurant in the area and it did not disappoint! The only thing I wish is that they served beer or wine.

My favorite place to eat in Clatsop County. For the buffet at lunch time or for their dinner service the food is always amazing. Never been disappointed with the quality of food and the cleanliness of the establishment is superb. Love it.

Our favorite dinner in Astoria. Rich and complex favors. Delicious and fresh. The people are very nice too. A unique place in Astoria. I was torn between trying other things in town and eating there every night of our trip. We are glad we tried it.

Enjoy!

Absolutely delicious. Had the Chicken Tikka and ended up licking the plate. Who knew I would have some of the best Indian food ever in Astoria, OR?

Enjoyed the lunch buffet. Food was tasty but not exceptional. I gave it an extra star because we came in at 3:00 p.m. and the buffet was being removed, so it probably wasn't the past time to taste the food

I went here for dinner, tired of the other places I had been frequenting in Astoria while visiting for work. I really should have stopped by Himani sooner. Tasty food, decent value and friendly service. Worth the visit, I'm looking forward to trying the lunch buffet.

Very very good. Don't miss this place if you crave Indian cuisine while in the area. Pricing isn't bad and the service is good for dinner. The mango lassi was delicious!!!

This was a wonderful quiet restaurant. The gentleman that served us was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing. We had the chicken curry, which they have named differently, and it was some of the best we have ever eaten.

Love it.

Authentic flavorful, wonderful food! We ordered the plate with several combinations of meats. The sauce is fantastic (comes on the side). You must have the mango lassi, made from their homemade yogurt and mango puree. I'd have one (or two) daily if I lived here! Enjoy!

I highly suggest their lunch time buffet. Great taste of Indian Cuisine. And you can eat as much as you want! Their tea is also enjoyable. Love their desserts....mango ice cream, yum! They also have belly dancing and live music during special events.
