There food is good, but overpriced. The service was AWFUL, and I probably won't be going back because of it. There were a few workers there, but it just seemed to be only one person really working. She was rushing around, which made me and everyone else who was there a little uncomfortable because she was also ignoring us. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes while she rushed around before she finally took my order. They were also out of boba when I was there, so it just seems like Lemon Tree needs to get its stuff together. It's too bad because I really did enjoy the food.

This review is based solely on one appetizer menu item and not on the restaurant's ambience, which could stand to undergo major improvements. Although I'm not sure much could be improved when your establishments sits inside a run-down strip mall. I ordered the red lentil kofte to go. I did have to wait about 15 minutes, but the hostess brought me a cup of water in the meantime. When she brought my meal, she explained it was made fresh, which was why it took so long. I'm now home eating it, and can't believe how delicious it is. I wish I had gotten something else to go with it, but she said it fed two to three people. Now I know that's only if you're ordering other food. Looking forward to going back.

I decided on this restaurant to meet another couple at just because it was something new. Once I read the reviews I was a little nervous. However I was pleasantly surprised. All four of us loved our dinners and as we were walking out we all said we would definitely come back. Items orders were: humus (my hubby said was plain) but the rest of us liked it. Zucchini / chicken kebab, kofte kebab, adana kebab, and a combo kebab which he ordered the Adana and gyro. Came with choice of salad or tabuli. 3 of us had salads and one tabuli. You could tell everything was made of fresh ingredients. As stated in the other posts it was definitely empty. Another couple came in while we were there. Besides the fact you don't want the place to close having the restaurant to yourself don't bother me - excellent service and good food.

I am giving one star because they are open. We went for dinner. We weren't even sure they were open after going in. Staff was busy visiting with each other and seemed like we were bothering them to be there. Decided we would give it a try, regardless of the questionable start. The food was not well prepared. I had their hummus and it was pasty and grainy . I make it at home occasionally and I can do a better job with no background in Mediterranean cuisine. My husbands food was over cooked and dry and the meal as a whole, was badly prepared. I wouldn't go back. It seems there is a group that goes there and looks to be extended family. Decor is dark and not at all inviting. Too many decent Mediterranean restaurants, like Zorbas in OKC that can do it better.

I was so excited when I saw this restaurant had opened up in Norman. I love Mediterranean food and am always looking for a new place to eat it. That being said, I don't think that I'll probably visit here again. I am sorry to say that because the prices were fair and the service was outstanding, I just really didn't enjoy the food. We started with the hummus and pita, which were fine, but I feel like it was pretty much Athenos hummus with some olive oil and paprika sprinkled on top. The tabouleh salad came with my entree, and that too, left something to be desired, namely tomato and cucumber. It was pretty much just bulger, green onion and parsley. For my entree I had the gyro plate. Yes, I do realize that's pretty much the mall food court equivalent of Mediterranean food, but I had a horrible craving, don't judge me. That part was fine. It was the typical gyro meat over rice pilaf with some yogurt sauce. No complaints on that part. I also can't say that it blew my mind, but that's not a dish that really leaves much room for culinary interpretation. I think it's pretty much shave the meat mixture off the giant rotating block-o-meat and call it good. My Husband had a Kebab combo plate. I can't recall which two kebabs he had, but he was underwhelmed by those as well. If we get a hankerin' for Mediterranean food again, we'll probably venture elsewhere.

Great Mediterranean fusion place (whatever that is) on Main Street in Norman. I stopped by on a Wednesday. The place was empty, save for one table. I got a gyro plate to go. For $10, you get rice, a salad, a lot of gyro meat, pita bread, and tzatziki. The meal took around 10 minutes to prepare. I asked for no tomatoes on the salad, and they were included. So, that was a ding on the overall rating. The salad is fresh and crisp, and it has the typical olive oil based dressing you expect from a Greek place. There was a large piece of feta which I loved. Next time, I'll ask for more feta. It was a nice, basic salad. The gyro meat is sliced thin and very flavorful. I could have used a little more crispiness on the meat, I prefer it griddled on the flat top to get some crust. But, I really did love this meat, I am nitpicking about the lack of crust. The pita bread was toasted. The meal didn't include onion, which I will ask for next time. The rice was basic, white rice. The sauce is herby and thinner than other tzatzikis I've eaten. But, it went very well with the meat and pita bread. The two employees I encountered were very friendly. I'll absolutely return, and hope this place thrives on Main Street.

Go. Go now. Tasteful and simple. The business is owned by a Turkish gentleman of outstanding and incredible generosity and kindness, who married a lovely Thai woman. Together they have created a fusion of Turkish/Thai food that is insane. I had a perfect meal here. Perfect. They have very traditional Mediterranean fare with heavy Turkish influences and a Thai twist. We had the hummus, outstanding. The tabouli, which was rich and robust. Phylo pockets of curried Thai chicken salad that were pan fried and served with yogurt sauce, gyros, phylo stuffed with feta and spinach, chicken kebabs, and chocolate baklava. Seriously. CHOCOLATE BAKLAVA! Rounding it all out was hot turkish tea. The service was superb, and the staff was amazing and engaging. It was so good, I almost wept. Not kidding. I ALMOST WEPT. Go. Go now.

Holy cow, this place is really good! 5 of us ate here for lunch, and we all gave our meals--eggplant salad, veggie kebab, gyro plate, and 2 gyro sandwiches--enthusiastic thumbs up. The occasional missteps were minor (the tabouli was somewhat bland, and the hummus was a tad heavy on the tahini) and more than offset by the quality of the other dishes and the generous portions. We watched with amazement and growing concern as the 22-year-old male in our group doggedly worked his way through the heaping pile of meat on his gyro plate. He made it, barely. I'm looking forward to going back!
