We had just moved to the state and were craving wings...BWW's was getting old to us so, we gave Slim Chickens a shot! Not only were we way pleased with the pricing (family of 5 is not cheap!) but the wings were amazing! I'm not a typical BBQ sauce on wings fan, but their sauce was excellent. The fried pickles won my heart though...and they're good enough on their own for me to continue going. Perfect sweet tea to bring it all together! The staff was very kind and helpful (as we were new), but they went above and beyond to help. We eat healthy on a regular basis, but this place is my new "go-to" cheat day!

First time at Slim Chickens and I won't be rushing back any time soon. I tried their chicken tenders and wings(with honey BBQ sauce). The chicken tenders were juicy, however, slightly bland compared to Chick-fil-A. After one bite of the wings I was done with them. My order came with two sauces, and I picked the "Slim Sauce" as recommended. It was nothing to brag about. They had 4 different jar desserts and I tried two of them. The oreo crumble wasn't what I was expecting but if you're an oreo fan you might like this! On the other hand, the brownie dessert took care of my sweet tooth and might have been the best part of the meal. The staff was friendly and helpful while answering all of my questions. The food was served quickly, which I appreciated because I was starving! That being said, I might give this place another try sometime in the future, but it won't be a regular in my books.

This place was horrible!!!!!!!! There is no way this place is better than Cane's, my chicken had absolutely no flavor. I waited FO-EVER in the drive thru and the customer service was, meh at best. I don't know why this place is called Slim chicken at all, it should be we tried to be like canes and failed miserably chicken.

So fresh and close to the house. I've been going here since it has opened, but it keeps getting more and more popular. The salad is my absolutely favorite salad in town. The greens are fresh and veggies good. Throw some chicken and ranch dressing on there and perfect! I even splurged one night on a fried pie, and it was good. Took a while to get, so haven't ordered one since. But enjoyed it!

The chicken is usually pretty good, but both times I have gone through the drive thru it has taken over 15 mins to get my food. And this last time when I finally got it, the chicken was chewy and undercooked and the okra tasted weird so I didn't even eat it after spend $10 and wasting 15 mins. Not going back here, I'll stick with Cains.

Since BWW moved in down the street it's easier to compare these two wing joints. My verdict: Slim Chickens has a superior product. BWW is a better choice if you're looking to park in front of 35 televisions for 2 or more hours, pound down some cheap watered down beer or play some trivia, but if you're after good wings then Slim Chickens should be your destination. I love spicy food and Slim's inferno wings are awesome. Nice and tasty with a high amount of heat, but not so hot that you can't enjoy them. And as for chicken strips, these strips are outstanding as well. I will never understand why there always seems to be a line at the Chik-Fil-A drive thru 10 cars deep. Slim's is better than anything they have to offer, and without the bigoted overtones one associates with CFA. The SE Norman location might be a little off the beaten path as restaurants go, but that seems to be changing a little with the addition of the BWW down the street.

I ordered 3 BBQ and 3 medium wings. Best wings I have had in a long time. Cooked perfectly. The sauces were amazing and the homemade ranch makes them unbeatable. Buffalo Wild Wings does not even come close in comparison. 5 star wings for sure.

Mediocre through and through. The tenders are not bad, mine seemed just a touch undercooked, not dangerously so mind you but just enough to chewier than I prefer. I'm not from the area so don't know if this is a chain or what but Chick Fil A and Popeye's do tenders better and cheaper. Fries were very good though with a just right amount of seasoning. I'd probably eat here again but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Good chicken. BE CAREFUL in the drive thru. There is a concrete ledge that is NOT painted and juts out from the building right at tire level. My meal was a good price, but my rims have huge scratches on them now due to the odd drive thru.

Awesome fried pickles, the best in Norman. Delicious traditional wings, every thing is super greasy so if your looking for a quick cheat meal this is the place for you.

Quick and dirty. The food that is :P The man zone likes it enough to eat two meals a day here! He recently discovered this place through a lab partner. I've never driven to this part of Norman before so I was a little skeptical. Slim surprised me! They have fried mushrooms on the menu!! I ordered the wing and fried chicken tender combo. You can order the tenders grilled or fried. It comes with texas toast and fries for $8.99. With every order you get to chose a sauce. With my order I got to choose two (one for my strips and one for the wings) I opted for ranch and their special sauce. The tenders are a tad bit smaller then what you would get at Canes, but the fried coating is different and super duper tasty! I ordered the wings with Honey BBQ sauce and I felt they were nothing to write home about. The special sauce tastes like Cane's sauce, no joke. They probably add some different spices, but the flavor is eerily similar. The fries come with some seasoned salt, which I wasn't able to finish. I left wanting more of the chicken tenders!!!!

As of right now this place is my favorite chicken in Norman. The portions range from small to a ton and their prices are decent. The sauce is the boss and its really good here. I've been here a few times and it's delicious every time.
