Love the food and drinks here; favorite drink is their signature Seven cocktail which is a mix of champagne and vodka. The upscale decor would make it great for a date night but they also have decent prices and a big upper and lower deck for more social get togethers. I've also never seen this place packed so it always feels like it's our hidden gem.

I'm slightly embarrassed of this review I'm about to give. Not because Seven47 isn't great, because it is, I have just spent far too much time here over my years in college. That being said, This is a trusty review. I've dined, drank and brunched at Seven47, aka "seven." OU's one bar as many people like to say. Campus Corner is full of restaurants and bars but Seven is the mainstay for juniors and seniors on Thursday through Saturday. On the weekends they have a great and very patient staff that deals with overly excited college students as they beg for drinks at the bar. $1 beers till 11 and $4 frozen drinks all night on Thursdays. I love Seven at night, but also love it in the daylight. If you are looking to revive after a Saturday night, head back on Sunday for a little hair of the dog with mimosas and brunch, the eggs Benedict is a favorite! For dinner I love starting with the seven dip (queso) or potachos. The flatbreads are all good and perfect for sharing, all of the mac and cheeses are amazing but I usually opt for the strawberry fields salad, or chicky chicky bang salad. Popcorn and popcorn chicken on a salad! It's like a healthy carnival. Seven is a perfect spot for dinner or brunch but if you aren't in college id suggest stearing clear after 10 o'clock on the weekends.

Interesting place with great food! It's half restaurant and half nightclub so the restrooms, floor, and tables have that "feel". We were there on Sunday after a home game and the estimated 20/30 min wait turned out to be 45 min. However the hostess staff was on top of things but no one really gets in a hurry here! My guess here is we caught them at their busiest time!! Id recommend Sunday brunch here if your laid back! Bottle champagne/ mimosa service is cool and seemed popular! Service was friendly but here again .. Laid back!! Chef is creative and I'd like to try them again maybe just not on a busy day!

Had a great meal here with friends recently. The truffle matchstick fries? Oh my goodness. I'll be back for those. Had one of their flatbreads and it was really tasty. Friends were happy with their food. Both of them ordered burgers and one had a super complex order (dietary restrictions) and the waitress was accommodating and had a great attitude. I add that because I'm pretty sure she's the same one who has been singled out in a couple of reviews here.

Went to 7 for brunch and mimosas. Both were absolutely delicious! I've been there several times as a bar but never during restaurant hours. I suggest you go!

Seven47 is a great idea but also kind of a failure. I went there and I got threatened by a waitress who believed I wanted her crush who was the doorman. She said she would beat me up and that she would "take it outside" and would "drag me out of the building", this was during the OU/Kansas State game. I was completely shocked and disgusted with her behavior! Especially since I was not aggressive at all toward her. She constantly kept approaching me while I ate with my friend and prompted to threaten me when I went up to get a soda. When I spoke to management they simply said that she was angry and to not be there if she's angry. As a business owner I thought that you were supposed to treat your customers well, and if you can't help them then to nicely tell them that there is nothing you can do. Seven's management did neither. If a customer is verbally or physically threatened (especially in broad daylight) by your employees then there is no way that you blame the customer for that, especially if they didn't provoke it. All in all, this establishment is poorly and immaturely managed, with crazy and catty employees that don't know what they are doing half the time. The food is medicore and WAY overpriced for the actually quality of it. It tasted actually pretty bad to be honest. I was completely unimpressed. The best thing I ordered was a soft drink which you can't even mess that up! If you're looking for a nice party place definitely go here, but for food I just wouldn't recommend it. Syrup is much better in the brunch department and their management is wonderful (they also donate a lot of the money to children's education overseas). Seven47 won't last long if all they hang onto is their image and not who they really are. This place is low quality and I definitely will not go back again after such a horrible experience! If I were you, I would avoid this establishment - and if you do go DO NOT have the waitress with the afro serve you. She will literally blow up at you if you make her even slightly angry.

Very cool place. We came here before the OU/Kansas game. I loved the feel of the place and loved the tailgate atmosphere. They had TV's all over the place and the service was great Our waitress never missed a beat and the drinks were nicely priced. I did not try the food, but it looked good.

Seven47 seems a little out of place amongst the taco shops, sports bars, and pizzerias. With that said, the restaurant itself is clean and has a modern almost club-like feeling to it. The vibe I got was that it was trying a little hard to be an upscale "cool" club. The food was mediocre and overpriced. However, the service was great.

Decent spot for football watching - crowd gets younger as it gets later.

My favoite restaurant in Norman! The chopped salad is so good. They don't have a huge menu but everything on it is 1st rate! Plus the drinks keep me coming back every chance I get!

The food at Seven47 is great! The drinks are tasty and our waiter was friendly and professional. Try a Frozen Bull! It's a frozen drink made of raspberry vodka and red-bull. It's so darn delicious and it tastes like a glass of candy. For dinner I tried the Chicken Tortellini and it was yummy. The pesto sauce they put on it was very good. I sampled my mates Spicy Shrimp Pasta and it was almost as good as my dish. The Chopped Salad was really good too and despite the fact that it comes covered in Bleu Cheese Dressing, it is scrumptious! The dressing tasted more like ranch to be honest (I usually don't like the strength of Bleu Cheese). The prices aren't sky-high as you might assume, instead they're very reasonable. We spent barely over $50 for two people and we ordered 2 dinner entrees, 2 frozen drinks, 2 beers, and a side salad. Not too shabby eh? But if the food somehow fails to electrify you, then the decor will surely do the job. I think whoever designed this place had "kickass" in mind. The LED lights on the bar and on the walls really make this place seem hip. Not to mention the tables and booths are definitely on the fancy side. This place has a very chic modern feel to it and it's noticeable from the outside patios (both upstairs and down), as well as when you walk through the entrance of Seven47. If you've ever witnessed what the "club scene" looks like in places like Miami, FL then this might be as close as you can get to it in Norman, OK. This place has a great atmosphere and would've only been better if it was packed with more people. I went on a relaxed Tuesday night and there was plenty of seating. Seven47 is very well done and I know I'll be coming back, over and over and over... You can view the menu here: seven47.com/broadband/se…

I came to Seven47 for a dinner banquet last week, and I really enjoyed the environment this place has to offer - contemporary & chic. However, the food was not exactly anything spectacular. Maybe it was because we only had two choices so I didn't get to experience the restaurant at it's full potential. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the food that was given me, but it just wasn't anything memorable.

After not having a proper meal for 15 or so hours, my companion and I decided to give seven47 a shot,(she had been once and had a good experience). Upon entering the building, I was impressed by the modern space. It was very nice, and spacious, yet seem to lack a bit of 'soul'... But it was nice. The server/waiter that helped us 'Adam' maybe.... Was prob the best server I've had In a long time. Awesome service. Food: I ordered the crabcakes appetizer. It was delish... Maybe a tad on the small side, but they were dang good. Main dish: Had the 'Big Boy' mac n cheese. It was very tasty, and was as pleasing as promised . Being from POrtland though, I've had a good fill of specialty macs from 'The Montage', so I must admit, it prob wasn't up to Montage mac standard...but it WAS good. I'd prob give it 3.75 stars.... so i rounded up Yes, go, it was nice..

Went here with a friend for drinks and appetizers one evening. Really good food and nice ambiance. We sat out on the patio on little sofas and had a very nice evening. Will definitely go back.

Terrific brunch with lots of variety. Friendly and responsive service. Upbeat Urban feel. Homemade chips and Beignets were excellent.

Highly trafficked hangout on campus corner with average food but good service. This is THE hangout in Norman if you wanna party with the athletes. It's not a place that I much care for during daytime, non alcoholic dining. Likes: If you're a blond sorority girl who wants to hook up with a linebacker, this is the spot. The atmosphere is great, nice and trendy, not too loud but not too reserved. It's always packed with groups of university party-goers. The service is good and classy, and I've gone to a couple parties in private rooms that were very well handled. Their menu is different from anywhere else too, and they have a great sandwich selection. Dislikes: The food is okay, nothing to write home about. The menu contains a number of items that get your hopes up and make you think the place may have some gourmet potential, but in the end, the low quality of the food & its ingredients say otherwise. It's not bad by any means, but it's just above mediocre. Good place for drinks and parties, not the best dine in restaurant.

Absolutely Horrible Management. I have been here on multiple occasions. Day and night. At night it isn't so bad, because you don't notice how disgusting the interior really is, and I didn't care about service so much because I was there for a few drinks. I would strongly encourage anyone looking for an evening meal to SKIP this place. I have never been to a restaurant with staff (including the hostess and MANAGER) that were so completely and utterly unprofessional. I can't say enough bad things. One good thing - if you don't care about service or cleanliness, some of the food items are not terrible.

Had a birthday party and 23 people attended. The food was very good, yet the service wasn't. The servers were overwhelmed while 4 of them stood around waiting for something to do. Had to ask repeatedly to have the table cleared. One of the orders came out wrong ( salmon instead of chicken "REALLY") and the manager attempted to argue that that couldn't happen, then finally comped it. The frozen alcoholic drink that was ordered did not taste as it should and the guest requested to swap for another. The bartender stated there is nothing he could do. When you drop between $1,000 and &1,200 at a bar, you would think theses minor issues could be resolved, especially since the party attendees amounted to more customers totaled in the entire establishment. If you're going for two you might have an enjoyable experience, but, if you have a large group expect to be treated as though your at cafeteria were you pay for what you get! Recommendation: retrain your manager and staff in customer service and work ethics and you would probably have one of the best bars/ restaurants on Campus!!!! Until then, keep losing customers, cuz there are 23 that will not return, even for game days.

Good food, hip atmosphere, friendly staff! If your over 30, go for dinner and drinks before 10pm; if your under 30, go after 11pm for good drinks, fun music and beautiful people!

Fun, hip bar on campus, that apparently also serves food? I haven't ever eaten here, but I have had drinks and they were deeelicious. My mom took me here for my bachelorette party (lol) and it was a lot of fun! My friends all loved it too. We had a cool private room with a glass top table that I heard my wedding participants (mostly groomsmen) danced on later at night on the day of our wedding, haha. I remember the bartenders/servers being very friendly. My favorite part of my bachelorette party (minus drinking with my mom, sister & a bunch of friends) was some drunk guy bringing me a wadded up piece of butcher paper that was basically trash but that they'd colored on/written semi-obscene things on that said "happy birthday bitch, love dave". I'll never forget those immortal words...

The interior of this place is really modern, yet had that trying to cover last nights puke smell. The food was pretty ordinary even if described as something more on the menu. Not the worst place to eat in Norman, but overpriced for the quality of the food.

great place both for nightlife and dining - specifically breakfast - food was very new-age American and great for more eclectic travelers to the area that want something more (alot more!) than the greasy spoon. nightlife can be "touch and go" (pardon the pun ;) at times depending on local campus events, etc. the few times I was there I thought the crowd was relatively diverse and people were relatively friendly. locals say this is the more upscale place on the block, which explains why I probably enjoy the atmosphere. a nice surprise adjacent to the college campus.

I guess this is the new "it" club/bar in Norman where everyone and everyone's friends get together. I came here after a big OU win in the fall and it was packed! It reminded me of a typical trendy club in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Lots of blonde sorority girls and frat guys with no other talk then football and the occasional, "oh my god!". The music was loud and the floor flooded with spillage. We came here in the afternoon so the sun was still shining in; I would have liked it more if we came in the evening. I'll give it another try next time, but I still prefer smaller, intimate bars and not large warehouses.
