CAN I GIVE -5 STARS???? Yep, that's Negative 5 Stars!!! Opposite of 5 Stars and Less than Zero! Worst service EVER! Honestly I do not like writing horribly negative reviews especially if my experience may have simply been an isolated incident. Human error does happen in the food service industry. I'm fully aware of this. But, when I've sat for 30 minutes waiting on eggs Benedict and explained that I was in somewhat of a hurry, and the elderly couple who were seated 10 minutes after me and got their meal 10 minutes before me, well, there's just no excuse! Again, however, I understand that there are many variables that play out. But no excuses for bad service when the only thing offered is an apology and a to-go box after my meal is brought to me, not by the manager who should have brought it, but another random waiter who wasn't my original waiter. Yeah, La Baguette, please offer me a to-go box for a meal that I wanted to eat SOMEWHERE ELSE and not at the booth at which I'd planned on eating?! Just me, maybe I expect too much... No, no I don't! There were 3 OTHER TABLES! The place was dead, no excuses! YOU GUYS SUCK!!!! Oh, and to add insult to injury, I had conveniently picked this bistro to eat because I had an appointment right next door, to which I was now late, and after explaining my situation that I just dealt with next door at La Baguette, the people told me they NEVER go there anymore because the service is awful! La Baguette! Your own neighbors don't even dine with you!!! BOOM! Verified! Because... YOU SUCK AT YOUR JOBS!!!! Thanks for the experience! I promise it won't ever happen again! The only regret I have is that I didn't slide the plate off the table, and I consider myself a nice guy! Way to keep it French guys! Makes sense now I guess!

They changed their menu- fewer options, but higher prices. Hopefully the Main St. location is still a great lunch spot, but I won't be bothering to come here again. There are better options out there- except for their bakery items, which can't be beat!

I love La Baguette. For years, they have provided consistently delicious food and excellent service. For lunch I always get the salad sampler (which I get fruit salad, caeser, and spiral pasta) - the Chicken Suzanne sandwich is also super delicious and at dinner, I enjoy the egg rolls. I know. Egg rolls - but they are really, really good! It's my truly favorite place to go if I get a few minutes to sit quietly with a book, a glass of wine and a light lunch. The owners are frequently in as well, which probably insures the consistent excellence of the restaurant.

Did not like the food here as much as the other location on Main. The service seemed confused and disjointed. We were asked how many people in our party five times by five different people before being seated.

An oldie and still a goodie in the Norman food scene, La Baguette has been around for decades in Norman. This location (just south of Robinson on Rambling Oaks, across from Rib Crib) has a bakery that opens at 7:00 during weekdays, plus the restaurant side that opens at 11:00 on weekdays and 8:00 on weekends. I've only had breakfast at this location. I can tell you, it does a decently steady business, but it's mostly people getting coffee and pastries to go. So, if you want a spot to sit and eat, you'll find one. My first time I had the quiche Lorraine, a favorite of mine since high school. The crust is decently buttery, and the quiche itself is a great texture. It's light, but has plenty of flavor. There is plenty of ham and it's seasoned well. They heat it up in the microwave when you order, so your slice's temperature will likely vary from visit to visit. If you want the center completely hot, they would have to scald the perimeter of the quiche. So, it's a give and take in that regard. The center of the slice will likely be noticeably cooler than the outer portions. Overall, it's a solid slice of quiche for a fair price. My second visit I went with sausage, egg, and cheese, on a toasted everything bagel. I believe it's around $4, but I could be wrong about the price. Suffice it to say, even at $5 this is a very good deal as the sandwich is huge. It comes with cheese on both sides of the bagel, which most places don't do without charging you an additional fee. The bagel is toasted well and is of good quality, although I could have used more garlic flavor in my everything bagel. My main complaint was the sausage. it was severely overcooked to the point it was dry and mealy. I didn't finish it; taking it off and finishing the sandwich with just scrambled eggs and cheese. I'll absolutely get this again, but not with sausage. There is plenty of parking and every employee I've come in contact with has been very friendly. Great place for a quick breakfast, and I will return soon to try lunch.

This is such a cool little place! Half-french bakery, half-cafe and bar. First impression of this place is that the setup and ambiance of this place is really nice. The restaurant is a bit small, but it has a nice flow to it. I decided to go to the bakery first. They have a large selection of different cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, and pastries here. I decided to get the key lime mousse, strawberry sandwich (cream puff with strawberries inside and topped with chocolate shell), eclair, and raspberry renaissance cake slice. Everything is about $3 to $4. Everything here is VERY rich! The key lime mousse is divine; it has cake layered in between the mousse and is topped with white chocolate shavings. The raspberry renaissance cake has raspberry cream cheese frosting, raspberry filling, and white cake. The eclair I was a little disappointed with because it's filled with chocolate creme instead of the traditional white creme. I didn't finish it and will probably give the rest of it to my mom because I don't really like chocolate. The guy at the counter answered any questions I had about the sweets and was very helpful. Next, I decided to go to the restaurant part to sit down and have some food because I was really hungry. My server was very pleasant and answered any questions I had about the menu and even helped me decide what to get. I finally decided on the California club and a salad. You get a choice between soups, salad, or french fries as a side with sandwiches. They also serve you complimentary fresh french bread and butter when you dine-in. My only qualm with the food is that the bottom of one of my sandwich halves got soaked in the dressing because they're served on the same plate. If you're someone who is picky about your food touching, I would suggest that you get the dressing on the side or the salad on another plate altogether! In conclusion, this is a really great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert! If you want to come to a place that has authentic french food or pastries, this is your place!

I usually go to the other location on Main, but I was closer to this location at the time, and needed to eat dinner. i haven't eaten food food at a La Baguette in like over a decade. (Excluding the bistro on North May since, it's an upper scale restaurant) The service isn't very high-end here, it's just casual service that is not too bad. The food is very good, or the six-cheese ravioli was very good anyways. It came out nice and warm, and the cheese sauce reminded me of the tomato crab bisque from Signature Grill, which is amazing! However, the weirdest thing for me is that at all La Baguette locations, they serve their special French bread with packaged landolakes or borden brand butter. I have never tried their bread due to the poor quality of butter they provide. You would think at a French bakery and cafe they'd make their own butter. Anyways, this location has a lot of variety of pastries to choose from. Fresh croissants, keylime pie (one of my favorites), tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake (another favorite), cookies, napoleons, chocolate pyramids, etc! I'll definitely be back for the ravioli and pastries! Their baked goods are the best, yum!

I ordered a chocolate mousse cake for a friends birthday, cake was ready on time. Decided to go ahead and eat with a friend of mine in the lobby for dinner also got a latte. man my vanilla latte was superstrong and my friends hazelnut latte was superstrong. I got the fettuccine Alfredo chicken pasta. Chicken was dry didn't taste very good the pasta and sauce is really good though I did enjoy that. My friend got the ravioli which she loved. All in all with how clean the place looks along with waitresses and waiters I would have to say it was a good experience four stars for what is expected. I do like all the nice pastries and desserts and macaroons that they had to choose from and cookies.

I highly recommend this bakery if your looking for some yummy French pastries that are amazing. They have many different kinds to choose from including crossiants, cookies, cakes, pies, bagels, etc., It was so hard to choose just one!! The service was excellent as well, I was helped by Becky who answered every question I had with a smile. Looking forward to another visit and maybe try out their quaint cafe for weekend brunch. Thank you La Baguette!!

The food was ok. My salad was dripping with dressing and the mimosas were small and expensive. Our server was really nice!

Great customer service. Super friendly and welcoming to newbies. The tuna salad sandwich is perfect! Not to salty like most places. The Ceaser salad is also a nice touch too it as well. Fries hot and crispy but not soggy or burnt. Will be going back!

I wanted to buy a large cake for a friend and wanted a note to be written on it . The server said they can't put a Happy Birthday on it because there wasn't anybody.. I don't think this is a big deal ... If there isn't a person to do this, then train another worker !! Robinson street lost my purchase and I will not go there and waste my time any more.! Went to the one on Main Street and they put the note for me on a disk with a few minutes wait :)

So this review actually covers two separate experiences from a weekend trip to OKC. The second was a brunch which included extremely tasty and well-prepared crepes and delicious fresh bread. I also splurged and bought a chocolate croissant and found it compared favorably to anything I had while in France! The first experience, however, sticks out far more because it involved three cakes prepared by La Baguette and served at a wedding. There was an amazingly delicious fruit tart, a sinfully rich Italian wedding cake, and the confection I have since christened Chocolate OrgasmoCake. I don't know what it's actually called, but it had layers and layers of chocolate and mousse-y deliciousness and is, quite possibly, the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted (seriously). The brunch was good, but the cakes is what I will forever remember!

I ate here for lunch today. This is a nice, simple, unassuming cafe with some really good food. The Food: Iced tea to drink. Iced tea is iced tea. I had the Parisien Sandwich with fruit salad on the side. The Parisien was a very tasty sandwich on toasted wheat bread with slices of turkey and bacon on top of lettuce and tomatoes. The real kicker for me was a spicy chipotle mayo (I could be wrong about the chipotle, but it was spicy). The spicy mayo was a really good kick and tang to go with the savory flavors of the proteins. The fruit salad consisted of apples, honeydew, pineapple, grapes, and cantaloupe slices. All of the fruits seemed fresh and ripe, and they were all sweet. I don't know if they doused it in sugary water but every bite had the perfect sweetness you'd expect from a well-ripened fruit. One of my companions ordered a chicken salad which looked delicious and looked like it had some sun-dried tomatoes on it. Great overall quality. The Ambiance: Nothing special here, but I think that's a good thing. It's a simple, unassuming cafe. the design inside was modern and welcoming. The Service: Service was good, our waitress was very attentive and never let any of our teas (there were three of us) get to less than 1/3 full. Food came out quickly and the staff seemed very friendly. The Verdict: I'd strongly recommend La Baguette as a reasonably affordable spot ($10ish/person +tax/tip with a drink, no dessert) for lunch. The dessert selection looked amazing and my companions strongly recommended the dessert, especially the chocolate pastries. I had to opt against dessert, but let me tell you, the spread upfront was extremely tempting. Eat here for lunch! Eat here for a dessert! Just eat here already!

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food is very good, but in recent months the service sucks. Once we got no service after waiting 15 minutes and last week the wait staff was almost rude at the end. We won't be going back.

Quiet atmosphere and delicious food. Enough said. I often dine here alone and just read my book during my lunch break, but it would be a great place for a casual business lunch, or lunch out with a good friend.
