I feel like I have to write this review after reading all of the bad reviews. The food is actually quite good, and the people are very nice. I think they do not speak great English, which is probably what some people take as rude. However, if you will take the time to speak with them and be kind to them, they are wonderful to you also. They have a darling daughter that often helps in the checkout process and she is very sweet. We order from here a few times a month and it is a quick, easy option and good food for fast food Chinese. Some of our favorite items are the steamed pork dumplings, sweet-and-sour chicken, and egg drop soup. if you're reading this review, do not hesitate to give them a try!

I think they might be sorta of rude because they are selling Americanized Chinese food. I would be unhappy selling American food the way the locals want it

Terrible. I ordered the beef and broccoli, and the quality of the meat was bad enough that I felt sick, and since then I will never return.

I have found the service to be pretty lacking at this location... The food is mediocre, nothing special, so I am not willing to deal with their attitude... The food would be best described as mostly greasy -- typical "shopping strip Chinese"menu options. Oddly enough, the employees park directly in front of the restaurant. So when you go to pick up your order, you have to park multiple spots away. I know that isn't a big deal, but it just goes along with the general attitude of the place...

My favorite Chinese take-out in town. Chicken w/garlic sauce, Beef w/broccoli, and cashew chicken are some of our favorites. We'll also get a chicken fried rice for a great leftover stir-fry later in the week. Nice, lean cuts of meat and fresh vegetables. Manager is a little impersonal but once you get to know her you understand she is just working hard and trying to stay on top of orders.

This place is pretty darn good. Sliiiightly more expensive than Happy Family at 12th and Alameda (like 50 cents more for the dinner combo), but the food quality is better. Egg roll was a bit plumper and more delicious than I was expecting at a place like this. Entree, rice, egg roll, and drink for under 7 bucks... that's a winner in my book.

Great chinese food and great prices. I went when it was really busy but still didn't have to wait too long. They have awesome lunch specials which go from 11-3 every day. They've got quite a few spicy dishes which is what I was looking for. They have a small dine in area thats about 6 tables. The only bevarages they have are canned soda. I got my order to go but you can call in ahead of time or get it delivered as well.

This is a solid cheap Chinese take out place. Definitely not the best there ever was, but one of the best in Norman, and certainly the best on the southeast side of town. I will warn you they take forever and the staff often has an attitude. I suggest calling ahead and tipping at least $1. The best value items are the combos. They come with the meat, rice or noodles, and an egg roll for about $7. The Egg Fu Yung is good too.

The food here is good and cheap which in most circumstances makes it 5 stars. That being said the lady who works here is the worst. She is rude and not helpful and acts like customers are an annoyance. Also when you call in an order to pick up they will usual quote you one time and then when you get there you will AT LEAST wait an additional 45 minutes on top of that. We have waited for an hour and a half on top of our 45 minute quote before. It has gotten to the point where we will not go there anymore. The good price no longer is good enough to make us return.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
