We went to the Silver Spoon on a weeknight with a fairly large group. It was chaos. Dining is always an equation of service, ambiance, price and of course, food and this place just didn't score well with the exception of atmosphere. The service was a cluster**** of ineptitude - various people would pop out of the kitchen bringing random entrees and appetizers with no respect to any sort of timetable - or correct orders. I have no idea what happened between the order and the preparation - it really was just random food coming out of the kitchen. Staffers would pop out an announce wrong menu items as if it were some sort of food lottery, until it reached the point that we would surrender to our hunger and say "Ok, I'll take that one." The ambiance of the restaurant was just as other positive reviews have described. It was nice and I won't even qualify that with the tired "for Lawton" that other reviewers offer as an excuse for poor quality eateries in town. It is a nice place. As to the pricing, everything was overpriced - not for the menu items - but for the actual quality of the food. Being that we were a large group, we had the opportunity to sample each other's dishes and no one was impressed and some were repulsed. What was odd was that much of the food had great presentation and the steaks and chops were cooked to near perfection but were drowned in salt. Any art or skill that the chefs may have had was lost in 3000% of your daily allowance of salt. This wasn't just my opinion, but everyone at the table, even the people who just had burgers thought the food was incredibly salty. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare which was a generous 12 oz steak cooked to absolute perfection. Sitting on the plate, it looked a masterpiece but again, salt...in exactly the style of a Brazilian churrascaria. My wife "accepted" (not what she had ordered) the pan seared Salmon and took about three bites before pushing it aside and guzzling her wine to wash the taste of salt out of her mouth. Perhaps their service has improved and maybe on a slow night, you get what you order but with the food being prepared by what seemed like a 3 pack a day smoker with no tastebuds left and considering their food is priced by how many grams of salt they use per dish,I wouldn't recommend it.

Met friends for dinner the other night, and was surprised by this quaint little place. It was a Friday, and somewhat busy, but we were seated quickly downstairs in view of a live entertainment. Our waitress was friendly and sassy, two things I love & helped answers our questions about items on the menu. The menu has something for just about anyone...seafood, beef, chicken, etc. I loved that they offered a "lighter fare" menu of two different types of salads, as well as being very accommodating to me when I asked for extra vegetables (in lieu of the rice) and no butter on any of my dishes. I ordered the Ahi Tuna steak, which was excellent. I think this would make a great date night place, and a welcome change from what you would typically expect here in Lawton. Happy to have found this place, and will definitely come again!

I've come for dinner with the boy. I've been awake for approximately 24 hrs at this point (overnight shift + flight + zero talent for napping on planes) and things are starting to feel rather dream-like. There's a ?party? happening in the front room. I will later find out this is some sort of college recruiting event. No matter, we're seated in the room in the back, it's quieter. The furniture is cutely mismatched. I like it. I have a placemat. My ability to accurately process things like distance, vocabulary, portion size is greatly diminished right now. I order many things. Grilled shrimp. Pita pizza. Calamari. More shrimp? Salad. The boy is unhelpful in this as he, too, severely lacks proper portion judgement. We eat, everything is delicious and I am quite satisfied.... until it turns into agony. There's too much food, we need boxes, plural, I need to get rid of these evil, constricting pants and assume some sort of horizontal position. Dessert? Oh no, I can't.... but I guess I could fit a coffee. It's so warm and soothing like the bed that I long for. We stagger out. Past the fresh-faced soon-to-be-freshmen. I pass out immediately. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!!

Great food, great service. Super friendly and very proud of their military patrons. As an American soldier I was welcomed with free dessert and a handshake and best wishes from all the staff. If i ever am stationed here in the future again I will undoubtedly be back. Thank you for your support and my satisfied appetite. Johnny favorite salad and cornbread all day!

Found this place on Yelp while looking for somewhere new in Lawton to eat. We decided to trie it out. The burgers where just as amazing as we had read on all the reviews. The steak came out very flavorful and tender and was served with mashed potatoes that were amazing, asparagus spears that matched the taste all the way around. The chips and salsa we ordered while waiting were amazing best tasting salsa I've had in a while. The dessert was pretty good as well. Prices were a little high and the wait for the food was long. Other than that once the food arrived everyone at the table was happy with the taste and quality of the food. Expect a pricey meal but a tasty one and a possible wait.

LOVE this place. One of the BEST restaurants in the area. Country rustic decor, great fresh food. My family and I are from California and are sort of food snobs. This place is great. Went for lunch and dinner on our short trip. Amazing menu, everything was perfect. Staff, food, drinks, atmosphere all wonderful.

Such a nice little quaint restaurant in Lawton. Every detail from the home style dishes with a twist to the antiqued and mismatched furniture pieces, was carefully thought out to create such a home-like atmosphere. There is live music that plays from the upstairs bar area and the acoustics of the room are perfect for entertaining while you eat. I was well pleased with how clearly you could hear the performer from anywhere in the room, however the music was "far enough away" that you can comfortably hold a conversation at a normal speaking volume! Kudos! Thumbs up! Great experience!

First time here and during lunch rush. I thought that since everybody came in at once, not near enough servers, yet the service was great. Food arrived promptly, and it's on point (the Reuben). Will definitely return.

Delicious! Portion size is a little small, and yes it's a little pricey, but the atmosphere and food are worth it in my opinion.

After a not so impressive first visit, my friends and I decided to give this place a second chance. I am so glad we did. Second time was a charm! I ordered the tuna steak, one of my friends ordered the rib burger, and the other got the pork tenderloin. Every part of our meal was delicious. They bartender pours a generous drink and the portion sizes are not dainty, nor are they gut-bustingly overwhelming. They are just right. Our waitress was attentive and super sweet. The live music added a really nice touch to an already amazing dining experience. I am now a regular during lunch. I love their salads!

I had a wonderful lunch! The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the space was really charming with eclectic and tastefully mismatched tables and chairs and complementary artwork. Definitely one of my new favorite lunch spots in Lawton. The menu had fresh and delicious sounding food, I had trouble finding one thing to settle on. The food was a welcome break from the usual chain and greasy spoon restaurants in Lawton. I ordered the soup and sandwich. I had the tortilla soup and it was outstanding. Nice big chunks of chicken breast, a very good tomato based broth flecked with tomatoes, roasted red peppers, black beans, black olives, onions, and fresh cilantro, topped with grated cheddar. The cilantro gave it a very fresh taste. My half sandwich was a fabulous chicken salad on fresh wheat bread, with a generous bit of fresh spring greens for color and crunch. The chicken salad was creamy with almonds, super tasty! There was a small side of kettle chips with black pepper and a pickle. I enjoyed every bite, I'll be back!

This place was recommended to us by one of my boyfriend's coworkers. They had very good things to say, so we had to check it out! We got a salad with our meal which had a house dressing that was pretty good. Both of us ordered the KC strip which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was AMAZING, probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. I can't resist a steak that has a good gristle. The asparagus was average and I didn't care for the potatoes. I would go back, but it was a little pricey, so maybe not so soon. The thing that got us was the service. Our waitress was really nice, but she did something that we were slightly put off by. Boyfriend is obsessed with this Great Divide Yeti beer and has only found it one other place so he was thrilled to get it here. Waitress comes back and gives him his beer, but it's not the one he ordered. Yeti is a stout and she came back with an IPA. If you know beer, you know there is a BIG difference. He tells her that it's not what he ordered and she told us that they didn't have any of the stouts, so she brought him that instead. I told them I would drink it and he could just order something else (since it was already opened.) Then she suddenly says "I think I may have put some in the fridge ten minutes ago, I'll go check" and comes back with the beer he ordered. Interesting. I just feel like if she couldn't find it the first time she should have asked if he wanted something else.

What a great find! I love when yelp reviews guide me to a new favorite. It's a nice lunch spot and it's kitschy but not overly eccentric where my husband would feel uncomfortable. The menu seemed simple enough. I got the potato soup. It had good cubes of red potato and was not overly heavy with cream. The corn bread it comes with was a little dense and dry but pretty tasty. I also tried the salad trio. I usually hate macaroni salad but it was good. Not overly mayonnaise y. The chicken salad was seriously chicken!! Hubby got the Californian, a BLT with avocado. He actually couldn't finish it because it had waaaay to much mayonnaise but he helped me with the salad so no biggie. Didn't have time for dessert so definitely will have to go again.

I was delighted to have this lunch suggestion from Yelp while working in Lawton today! I had seen it online before when I was in town and I made the mistake of not going right away. I'm so glad I tried it out this time! The Silver Spoon is super cute and quaint. Kind of reminds me of a old timey hotel restaurant. My server was very attentive and my food came out quickly. I had the California sandwich with baked potato soup. The Cali sandwich is a BLT with avocado. Can you say YUM?! I love baked potato soup and it did not disappoint here. The bacon was cooked perfectly for my Cali sandwich as well. They also had really flavorful chips on the side. I will most definitely suggest this place again when I'm in town!

Lawton is so blessed to have such a cute little place like the silver spoon. The waitstaff is always helpful! I love everything on the menu. My favorite is the eggplant Parmesan. I usually have them split the eggplant and put the sauce on the side. Some nights they have local musicians.

  • David L.

I wish I had looked at the pictures before I ordered. But I guess it was fot the best because I had the club and it was HUGE! And it was that good as well. Mary had the BLT and it was excellent as well. Might have to come back and try dinner. But the pictures convinced us to try the Carrot Cake, I can count that as a veggie I think!

The Silver Spoon is as close to "fine dining" as I've been able to find in Lawton. The restaurant is well thought out, with mismatched tables and placemats surrounded by carefully distressed exposed brick walls and plenty of warm wood accents. The main dining room is full, but does not feel cluttered, and the restaurant has a second dining room which works well for larger groups. I've visited twice now, and found the staff courteous and helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu, which is a rarity here. The menu itself is small, but diverse, and not so expensive that it would scare away a person willing to pay for fresh ingredients and new ideas. It is also one of the few places in town that serves tuna steaks on a regular basis. They win my loyalty right there, but I've also been told that their burger is worth a look. I love a good burger, so look forward to sampling theirs when I return.

My group ordered 3 of the Gourmet Burgers and I ordered the Cali BLT. All were impressed with our meals. The Desserts were fantastic and they comped my sons dessert to thank him for his service. Try this place its real good.

Service was good but the filet (requested medium) came well done and cool, asparagus was great. Filet too much pepper. The price of $25.00 included mashed potatoes tasted great but cold. Meal was to include salad but they forgot. Disappointed to say the least.

People raved about this place but it isn't all that, service is really slow especially at lunch, we were not greeted when we walked in, and the food is just okay defiantly better places around. The only thing that I would say is awesome is their pecan pie!

We went for dinner instead of the recommended lunch and were a little disappointed. They are definitely a $$$ place not $$. Very overpriced for Lawton Oklahoma, for the quality of food and the quality of service. The calamari was essentially chicken fried calamari with shrimp cocktail-like sauce. Weird but not bad because the calamari actually was tender and not rubbery, so that was enjoyable. Favorite salad was fair, my chicken was cold and it was lacking shrimp (there were 3 small ones). I almost laughed at the amount of wine served to me, was 1/4 of the small glass so I was annoyed with the price. Pecan pie dessert was great, definitely my favorite part and lives up to its reputation. I won't divulge too much about the rude hostess in sweatpants who gave us the lunch menus at 8 pm, the decent waitress and owner coming over made up for the bad service first impression. My boyfriend ordered the meatloaf and loved it and one high point was they did have three different local Oklahoma brews that were great! Also had live entertainment which was a bonus for us. P.s I hope you like bacon almost the entire menu had at least some bacon involved!

Good was all way over peppered - served cold, but the waiter made up for it by offering some delicious dessert.

  • Simone D.

Left pretty disappointed after a recent dinner. The steak was over cooked and the smashed red potatoes tasted as if someone accidentally dropped in an entire container of pepper and wasn't able to scoop it out. The meal was in my opinion over priced for what I received and I definitely felt rushed by the waitress. The bread was the best part of the meal

In town for the Army Graduation and wanted a good burger and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed! It's a cute little hipster looking restaurant. Decorated really nice inside and kinda cozy. Our waiter was really nice and to be honest, really effing Hot! His name was Jonathan and he was very attentive and made sure to bring out or drinks before they were low, any condiments we needed right away! He was just awesome! We ordered soup with cornbread and goodness! The cornbread was freaking perfect!! Freshly baked and so soft! Then our burgers came out and (mouth watering) it was perfect! Only thing was that it was so huge so it was hard to put it in your mouth... HA (; .. but excellent! Very flavorful, applewood bacon! Gorgeous and savory avocado, and the meat was perfectly seasoned! Along with delicious lightly seasoned steak fries! If I passed by Oklahoma more often, I would def stop here every time! But sadly, I'm from California so I can't eat this burger whenever I'll crave it or see our sexy waiter! I'd recommend this place over and over again!!

I have ate here before was pretty good not great. My issue this time wasn't the food but the service. I tried to come in for lunch and sit at bar. Typical thing people do if they eat lunch by themselves. Well tables in area were full and waitress walked by me couple times after sitting patiently for around 15 min. I finally got up and walked down to ask someone hey is the bar open because I don't see any signs and no one said anything to me even though I was sitting there so long the waitress for that area seen me. They go oh no it's not open till 4 pm. Ridiculous you open for lunch but your bar isn't ? Sorry I don't want to sit at a table by myself and eat lunch. At the very least they should have a sign setup on the bar stating no service until 4pm so people don't waste there lunch sitting there with inattentive service. I won't be back because of this terrible service issue.

Took our soldier and family out for dinner. Absolutely the best food during our trip. Owner came over and congratulated our soldier personally. That meant a lot. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and was as large as a KC strip. Pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon with apricot sauce was excellent. The rest were very happy with their salmon, citrus tuna and homemade fried chicken. Good wine selection and prices for all very reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an upscale experience in Lawton.

Nothing Special. No greeting to start off. Dinner was poorly executed. Chips and salsa for $8 overpriced. My husbands meatloaf and mash potatoes were cold and extremely dry, needed some kind of gravy. My salmon was rare and the sides left a lot to desire. Salads took 20 minutes to come out and our waitress kept disappearing. They did take off the salmon from the ticket but the point is I didn't get to have a meal Nd left hungry. Atmosphere wise, it's a really nice place like the decor and the concept, but they need to dedicate time on the service and food. If we go back it will only be for lunch. And the desserts.

What a charming quant place! When you walk in you are welcomed by tall ceilings, exposed duct work, mismatched chairs, tables and placemats but the feel is cozy and the ambiance leaves nothing to be desired. You feel at home...yet with the prospect of eating food cooked by talented chefs and being served by attentive waitstaff. Why haven't we been here before??? They have a full bar, an amazing wine selection and from all the other reviews, apparently really tasty food. I've ordered the lunch 50/50 which is half a sandwich and soup and it comes with chips and a pickle. I chose the California which is a bacon, tomato and avocado sandwich on wheat. Yum! And to accompany the sandwich I went with the potato soup which has applewood smoked bacon, chives and cheese and it is delicious! They apparently have different soups on different days so I will venture back to try their other flavors. Who would have expected Lawton to have such a cool place? And what would a proper lunch be without trying some dessert? Today's selections were chocolate cake, carrot cake, cheesecake and one other option but I was sold at the sound of a good slice of carrot cake. It arrived and was a huge slice of heaven...Drizzled with caramel sauce and surrounded by homemade whipped cream. I think I've led and gone to cake heaven. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't try this place, or hell, if you don't frequent this place!

Wow! This place is delicious!!!! I had the AD's Chipotle Chicken Penne, it was the prefect blend and balance of flavor. Perfection! The ambiance in this cafe type place was really neat, placemats, wood antique kitchen tables and chairs, etc. We came for lunch after my brother's graduation from Boot Camp and our server was sure to thank him for his commitment to our country. Very cool place all around!

Let me start off saying this...the wait staff were great. I had heard great things about the food, mostly about dinner from friends and was really excited about trying it for lunch. I ordered the hot roast beef and pepper jack cheese sandwich. I had visions of slow roasted, thinly sliced beef piled high on a home made roll ( it does have "Bakeshop" in it title, right?) and covered in melting, gooey pepper jack cheese. Sounded like a great sandwich to me! What I received for my $9.00 was two slices of store bought, per-packaged beef on store bought sandwich bread, that had been grilled under a panini. Inside the sandwich were huge chunks of raw red onion and red bell pepper. It came with potato chips, a pickle slice and best of all, a little grape tomoato! I could've done much better by going to Subway down the next block.... Sorry Silver Spoon, but you won't fool me out of my money again.

After several times coming here our experiencing continues to go downhill. First off, the waitstaff seems to be overwhelmed and they cannot be attentive to each of their tables. The last two times at least two of the menu items have been sold out. The sirloin steak has been extremely fatty and with a ton gristle that cannot be cut with a steak knife. Recently they removed their lunch menu items from dinner which made it very hard to have a large party with a variety of food options and prices to accommodate everyone's needs. The last two times we have had burnt bread either on a Panini or with our dinner rolls. Also, the live music made it impossible to have a conversation at the table. Overall the quality has continuously gone downhill and we will most likely stop dining there especially with the ridiculous prices. What a shame because it has potential and great ambience. Nothing like it in Lawton. I hope they take these issues in consideration or people will stop coming back after the newness has worn off.

We researched eating places online for Lawton, OK and this restaurant got great reviews. We got there about noon on a Saturday and there were no cars and no customers. We decided to try it anyway. The restaurant was cute- you can see pictures others have posted. I had the 50/50, as did my husband. I had 1/2 a club sandwich- which was huge and baked potato soup.my husband got the chicken salad sandwich and baked potato soup. We also got dessert. He had a chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven and I got a chocolate, caramel with oatmeal crumbles. We should have shared a dessert, both were big enough to share. A few customers came while we were there and three or four cars drove by slow, one couple even got to the door and were afraid to come in because there were no customers. I feel like this is a very busy place during the week because of the courthouse - don't be afraid to try it. The food was very good and our wait staff was very good.

It's surprising Lawton has a hang out like this. Good people going to have a good time, local acts play. When I went Friday night it was one musician playing guitar and harmonica and singing. The bartender is awesome. He made the whole experience. When I wasn't sure about my drink choice, he asked me what I as into and made a special concoction of his. He checked in with me 10 minutes later to make sure I like if because if not, he was going to make me something else. The decor is eclectic and a bit artsy indie. I fell in love with the place. The night vibe of the bar and people was very mellow and down to just have a good time. We went back a few days later for lunch and I got the baked potato soup. It was so good! Creamy with delicious thick bacon and carrots. The corn bread was homemade, still hot and had a little crust on the edges. Sooo tasty. My boyfriend got the 80's panini and he said it was the best sandwich he's had. Both our meals, plus dessert to go was only $20. We will be back many times.

Nice little spot in Lawton. Went on a Friday night and had some great live music. The wait staff is very attentive. My husband and I shared the chips and salsa as an appetizer. It was wonderful - I could have eaten the salsa as a salad is was so yummy. I had the tortilla soup and my husband had the citrus tuna. Next time, I will get the citrus tuna, it was VERY good. The tortilla soup wasn't bad, I just liked the tuna better. The only downfall to my meal was that the cornbread was a bit dry. For dessert, we I had the pecan pie cake. It was AMAZING! I loved it. It is pretty rich and buttery, so I suggest sharing it. It is a "smaller" piece (compared to the size of the carrot cake they serve), but, as I said before, it is pretty rich. Great place to come to with your spouse or with visitors to the town. Nice atmosphere, good food, and great service. I will be back again :)

Ive gone from 3 A-ok to 4 Im a fan now Im at a 2 Meh BOY have I experienced better. My last review was good because the food and service, both teetering on the edge, actually fell on the right side. Today they fell on the wrong side and finally helped me make some sense of the ambiguous nature of the Silver Spoon. Maybe its just the lunch service. I have had lunch here 4 times and it was not good some better than others but mediocre to just plain bad like Saturday. I have had dinner here twice. One not good and one not at all bad. I finally realize they are backsliding and are starting no doubt to base their service on alcohol and cheeseburgers. Two things of which they do very well. Oh and no I could not complain this time (Saturday at 1100.) Because the entire staff was out back smoking...the...entire ...staff as in no one in the restaurant at all. My wife paid, we got ready to leave and I just could not leave without saying something to the manager. I was going to ....just leave. I was just not in the mood for confrontation we were having such a nice day and I did not want to ruin it by having to complain to a manager. I guess you could say a bad meal puts a small damper on a day, a not so happy friction with a restaurant manager can ruin a day. I was not feeling well and It was hot..i don't know. I was complaining to my wife and she said just go ahead and tell the guy the meal was bad. Well mine was, hers was great, (that's right, cheeseburger.) In any case I got up the nutz, looked around yelled hello into the back, into the upstairs and no one was there. Ok well crap, we left. As we pulled around the corner to get onto Gore and head home, therrrrre they were, all of them on the back step smoking and talking. We could have literally walked out with the register. I'm done with this place. If I do have to suffer through it I will only do so for my Lovely wife. She is in love with the cheeseburger's. If you like the food that's great. Word, DO NOT order the Pizza it's a joke seriously, I think it's a toastinoes from Walmart that they just add more toppings to, Im not kidding at all.... BTW our waitress as always was great, so, hmfff, whatever.

This place is a lovely local restaurant and bakeshop. Since arriving in Oklahoma - i have had a lot of burgers - so I was looking for something a little lighter. I had the soup and salad meal. The tortilla soup was great. The salad was fresh lettuce and the house dijon dressing was awesome. I got two bakery items to go. Total for all was $16. I sat a the bar - my server was excellent - friendly and was quick to top off my water glass. The food was ready quickly. I would definitely return.

If you're downtown and you don't feel like getting a burger from Burgess take yourself a half a block down the street and check out the Silverspoon. The staff is as welcoming and warm as the decor and the food is very good. It's mainly sandwiches soups and salads so if you're looking for a light lunch you can't go wrong. I've had the triple decker club sandwich several times and at 9 dollars it a little steep but you will not be disappointed in the least. Without a doubt you definitely get your moneys worth. I've also tried the turkey/bacon/provolone press which was also very good. If you have any room left over definitely try the chocolate cake...best dessert I've had in a long time.

Yay! Finally a place in Lawton with good food! A little pricey but big portions. The bread is freshly baked and you can tell they use good ingredients. We started off with the hummus. The plate was so big and came with so much freshly baked pita bread! It was really good! I ordered the Kansas city strip steak for my entree. It came with a spring mix salad to start off, which was very fresh. The steak came with asparagus and mashes potatoes. The steak was huge, cooked and seasoned perfectly. Even the asparagus was long and plump and not over cooked, left with a little crunch. The hubby ordered the chicken alfredo. The portion was huge as well. Very good. Oh and they have live music as well. Liked the music taste. We also had good service the last few times we've went. They are Def worth a try.

I wanted so much to be impressed with this place. We had lunch here today . My husband had the Italian sub and potato soup. The sandwich was mediocre and the soup was just "OK." I had the CD chicken panini. It was OK. The chicken was shredded and flavored with some kind of chili sauce. It wasn't bad but it was lacking something. We will come again and try something else on the menu, as this does seem to be crowded and a popular place to eat.

I have been to Silver Spoon 3 times and they have really good food at descent prices. Its a great place to just go hang out and listen to some live music while drinking Hi Point beer. My number 1 dislike is that some nights they close down for large scheduled groups and you never know when that is. I have gone twice now and they were closed for a party so had to leave and find somewhere else. It would be nice if they posted on their Facebook that they are going to be closed so I can just check that first. Secondly they need to put something on the outside to let you know they are closed. I walked up stairs and sat down for 5 minutes before I realized I wasn't supposed to be there.

This is now my new favorite restaurant in Lawton.. I had the pecan crusted chicken (daily special) the first time I went. It was DIVINE!!.. The 2nd time I went I had the Reuben.... Perfect!! The atmosphere is Country French with beautiful accents. This is a great "Date Place".. BEAUTIFUL!!! and the upstairs bar is wonderful for social occasions. This is my new go to place to impress out-of-towners.. LOVE IT!!! I am so happy Lawton has a new restaurant to be proud of!!!

Be aware that Silver Spoon now has a "Dinner Menu" that is going to cost you twice as much as you would pay for lunch there - without the same offerings. My favorite meal - the chicken sandwich - can't even be ordered for dinner. Lame!

Such a cool place! My husband and I ended up here after a disappointing dinner elsewhere in Lawton. We were sad/happy to learn that they serve a lot more than just sandwiches and soups at dinner (happy to know, but sad we had already eaten a bad meal). So we didn't get to experience their dinner, but got dessert and it was great. Great service, friendly staff. We look forward to getting dinner here the next time we're in Lawton.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the Silver Spoon. Such a cute place! If you like it nice and quiet with a personalized touch, this is definitely the place for you. I had the gourmet burger and my wife had Kim's salad. Both were excellent and the service was as friendly as it gets.

My family visited Lawton for my daughter's boot camp graduation. Our party all enjoyed their food including crusted pecan chicken, bacon wrapped scallops, and a huge tasty burger. They live music was pleasant, not too loud. Our waitress Katie was awesome. The atmosphere was quaint, the opposite of chain restaurant which you can eat at anywhere. So when you are in Lawton, try this place, it was a memorable meal.

The server was nice and the sweet tea was good and if that's all you are looking for in a restaurant then go here. I had a burger here a couple months ago and it was delicious but today I had the hot roast beef. It was awful. The bread was more soggy than toasted, there was a ridiculous amount of black pepper and it was served with stale black pepper chips. I was starving when I got there for lunch and no matter how hungry I was, I couldn't finish it. I left the restaurant hungry.
