Seems like a really large space for such a tiny setup. I got a chai latte. It was okay. Not the worst I've had and not the best. The service was friendly.

Easily the best coffee house in Edmond and possibly the best in the Oklahoma City area. I've never had anything but great service and the coffee is outstanding. I've not tried the food except for the waffles, but I can definitely recommend those. Wi Fi is free, and the space is open and bright in a European fashion. The coffee products are consistently superb, and the selection of beer and cider isn't bad either. Outdoor seating on the sidewalk is available. This is my go to place in Edmond for a quality Latte or Espresso.

What's not to like? (Okay, I think it's lame when a coffee shop has a television on, but at least the sound is muted.)

Best coffee shop in Edmond! The staff is extremely nice and catering. A lot of high school and college kids come here to study or hang out. Would highly recommend for a first date. Coffee prices are comparable to Starbucks, entrees are a bit expensive compared to portion size.

This place does make decent coffee and food. We got cappuccinos, lattes, the waffles and a breakfast burrito. Although they were all solid I really dislike the atmosphere here. I prefer ALL ABOUT than this place any day.

Hipster chick in downtown Edmond, OK offers lukewarm lattes and rude staff. We visited Edmond excited to try the hippest place in town, but we soon discovered it would have to step up its game if we were to recommend it to friends. I ordered a latte--coffeeshop staple and friend ordered a hot hibiscus tea. They didn't tell us the tea would take 6 minutes longer than the latte. I got my latte straight away I tried to wait for my friend's tea, but soon realized that if I was to enjoy a warm latte I would have to drink very quickly. How can a hot latte be served cold at a coffee shop?? Really--poor service. The tea came in the 6 minutes as promised and was delicious. We would order it again, but the point of going to a coffeeshop with a friend is to share in the experience--this place bombed. Maybe we will give it another try, but it certainly doesn't make me want to recommend it to friends.

Who would've guessed that there would be a hipster little coffee shop in downtown Edmond Oklahoma, not I. It is adorable has great coffee and the prices are amazing. I wish they had some gluten-free options for pastries but that's okay sprouts is right around the corner.

Best coffee and espresso in the OKC area. (And i say this as a former Seattle coffee snob.) If you are traveling through, it is worth the stop. They started serving food recently, and it is delicious! I used to come for drinks late night, but they've changed their hours, which is disappointing. Still a good beer and wine list though, lots of local flavors-- just not the hours after 7pm anymore. Hopefully they will re-extend their hours again soon. Oh--one more thing. I experienced their mobile espresso service at a wedding reception recently--amazing! Would definitely recommend it.

I am definitely a fan of Evoke! So nice to have a cool coffee shop like this to work from in Edmond. Their chai latte is bomb. I haven't tried any of the food yet but it all looks like really great quality and also reasonably priced. I worked from here on a Friday morning and it was super busy. I still was able to get work done despite running into several friends throughout the morning which was a nice surprise. I'm interested to see how busy it is at other times. It certainly seems like a popular spot. I will for sure be back!

  • Nancy G.

@cafeevoke is my favorite new hipster place for mornings. They seriously have the best coffee and, my favorite, the breakfast burrito. My mouth is watering as I wait for it to approach my table. I am so in love with this place.

  • Leslie P.

Good coffee. Nice young people who work there. Locally owned. The only downside is the service is a bit slow. Overall, a winner.

    (4)
  • Kindt M.

Always kind, always great products, and owned by local, community-invested, wonderful people. Drink. More. Coffee.

  • Michael G.

Decent local shop, tons of space, nice staff. Overall, pretty good experience. The coffee was okay, but nothing to write home about. This place is definitely about the vibe and environment rather than the drinks.

On my first visit to this place I encountered a disgruntled impatient looking barista who LITERALLY ROLLED her eyes as I complimented the yummy looking array of baked goods in the case. I stifled the urge to say "what's up your twat?!" and let the folks behind me go while I counted to ten. I then drank some water out of a pint glass she would have to wash for her rudeness, frowned at the creepy mural (Amanda's work is so much appealing than Dylan's) & mooing little hipster twenty somethings and relieved myself in the radon pink not cool in a Gaudi way bathroom before I LEFT without making a scene... luckily for HER. I liked the big clean open air conditioned space so I decided to give it a second chance. I popped in and found two very pleasant male baristas - a sample of the soup was dispatched for me. Not overly impressed with their cook or the baked goods but I ordered an Americano that was *PERFECT* and since I worked as a barista for years in San Fran's posh coffied North beach I do know my coffee. I tipped him a dollar and drank it slowly - seriously puts Starbucks, Gray Owl, Cuppies, Elements, Cha - all of 'em to shame!

Evoke is such a trendy little coffee shop placed right in the downtown strip of Edmond. It's very hip inside. Their grinder is specially painted which, as a barista, is super cool. Their food is pretty delicious. Their coffee is so so. I've had their mocha (ehh) and their iced vanilla latte (one of the best I've ever had). It depends what you like. Evoke is definitely not for everybody, but if you like a hipster coffee shop nested in among some other pretty neat little shops with a nice variety, Evoke is for you!

  • Wesley B.

I have absolutely always gotten great customer service, and they deliver a decent product, but today, I waited nearly forty-minutes for one latte. I find it an offensive waste of time. Do not come here for something quick--You will have a very long wait. I do my best to support local, small businesses, but the time it takes here for product delivery will fail to retain me as long-term, repeat customer.

  • Joshua L.

As an Edmondnite, I'm super excited that downtown Edmond has a cool coffee hangout spot like Evoke. The coffee is great and the baristas are all friendly and know their craft and take coffee making seriously. If you're not satisfied with your beverage they will make you another one that'll suit you liking. The owner Jason leads the pack of great baristas i.e. TJ, Heath, Megan and co.

Great coffee. Extremely friendly staff. Open and inviting! Sweet treats. Savory foods! Anything you could want on a Sunday morning. Fair price for specialty coffee. Supporters of local OKC and lovers of good quality coffee.

The best coffee shop in Oklahoma. Perfectly beautiful lattes, great location in Downtown Edmond, and excellent service.

Great modern coffee shop with clean food offerings. They even have a screened-in porch! How Oklahoma is that!?

    (4)
  • Blu Star S.

After previously disliking this place I've grown to like it. Their coffee is pretty good and their staff is always nice. The most important part is that it's one of the first non-chain coffee shops in Edmond.

    (5)
  • Jenn S.

Oh my. This sweet spot is much like an espresso shot to the soul. It tastes delicious, livens you up and helps you focus. The locally owned stop features modern, sleek countertops, tables and chairs. There's even a group-sized table --making it kind of perfect for study groups. OH, did I mention they have beer and wine? Because they do. The tunes are good, the faces are smiley, the coffee is freshly pressed, dripped or brewed the way you order it. The staff is quite nice, too. I took them up on their recommendation of brews and I wasn't disappointed.

  • Kris H.

If you wrote a review and compared Evoke to Starbucks please delete your post. Seriously, thats like comparing a Tesla to a Prius because the are both hybrids and get you from point A to B. Evoke uses the some of the best roasters in the country like Handsome and Ritual making all of their brews regardless of style infinitely more complex. Their Espresso is pulled with attention to detail including tamp, temp and time. Latte's are poured with attention to detail and temperature. I, my wife and kids have never been disappointed during our almost weekly visit. Evoke has single handedly turned me into a coffee snob that ultimately lead me to purchase a few thousand in an espresso machine, grinder and other tools of the trade. Even with my own equipment I still go to Evoke to compare pours and pick up tips.

Glad Edmond now has a solid coffee shop. I'm honestly a bit jealous such a cool spot is that far north of downtown. I love the later hours which would make for a fun date night Anne the Wife and I got a couple drinks and split a ginormous cookie. We'll have to go back soon to enjoy a couple of the adult beverages or split coffee and a slice of baked Heaven from Dallas based Emporium Pies.

  • Amanda S.

My review is based mostly on service and the fact that the coffee was just OK. I didn't try the food though it looked delicious and probably better than the coffee. My customer service experience wasn't great... I typically order decaf coffee. I am sensitive to the caffeine. Sensitive as in I will not be able to sleep at all that night and I'm super jittery from it. I step up to order my usual decaf latte and I was met with a very harsh "We DON'T do DECAF here. That's not REAL coffee." ummmm.... well, I'm the customer and that's what I want. You don't want to serve that, it's fine, but damn if you don't have to be rude about it. What if I was pregnant? Or on medication? You really think it's the best option to not offer decaf? I drink coffee based on taste, not on caffeine. So you just lost me there. I thought to myself wow, this must be the most DELICIOUS coffee on the planet if you think the caffeine is that critical to your final product. I ordered a small latte. It was blah. Definitely not great. Would I return? Maybe. But perhaps this small little business should recognize that they are missing a major share of the coffee drinking market and decreasing their profits. Is it worth going in there? I'd say pass. Not worth the overpriced drink...

@CafeEvoke evokes a feeling inside I've never felt before. A feeling that says, softly, maybe I could live in Edmond... maybe someday. Maybe not, but if I did, at least I know the coffee would be good. My sis and I had a lovely chance to enjoy a moment to

  • Brandon M.

Great vibe, cool place, very popular. I enjoy going and getting a small French press pot and meeting friends. My only complaint is there have never been any really bold/dark roasts. I like really dark blends, so I still go to Starbucks for my actual coffee desires.

  • Shay B.

If I can find a time to go that's within their hours, Evoke is wonderful. I recently hired two new employees, and as part of their welcome to my department, we walked down to Evoke for coffee. We had a lovely time -- warm, delicious coffee and great treats to nom on. If I could fit it into my schedule, I'd be here much more often!

  • Clayton M.

Had my first Evoke experience last weekend. Just stopped in for a latte on the go. The place is very modern on the inside, lots of seating and a huge chalkboard with a list of delicious coffees. The two guys behind the counter were not exactly friendly or helpful when I greeted them. They weren't rude just couldn't manage a smile or much conversation beyond that. The latte was great, but for the size way too expensive in my opinion. I'm a loyal Starbucks customer so I'm not opposed to paying a bit of a premium for a good coffee. I asked for the largest cup they had and was a bit disappointed. At this point, there really wasn't anything that would cause me to pick Evoke over Starbucks.

    Nice hipster coffee place.

  • Thomas R.

Super spot. For sure the coolest vibe in a coffee shop in all of okc/Edmond. And they have a cycling club too. Lots too be about this place.

  • Brandon E.

Great place! The ambiance is nice for an upscale coffee shop in Edmond. Gota love the club soda with the shot of 'spro, really brings out the flavors and btw it was the best I've had. The Costa Rican shot had a bit too much 'earthy' of a finish for me but very smooth otherwise. Very acceptable art on all the milk drinks I saw also. I will definitely be back if I'm driving thru!

    (5)
  • Yesha P.

Yummy vanilla latee along with some studying! :-) Like the decor! Just need to add some more to the decor but besides that, a good place to chill at!

  • John F.

It is hard to discover this place if you don't look hard. I thought by the name that this was some sort of health spa. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find THE coffee house I was looking for! I had a vanilla skinny latte and a piece of the apple spice cake. Was overpriced but acceptable. The staff was accommodating and the atmosphere was warm. Definitely a more modern décor, but definitely the type of place I like to frequent. I will have to go back and taste menu. Look to have quite an array and quite a few people ordering food for a coffee house.

This is a neat coffee shop located in downtown Edmond. First off, I love the neighborhood that it's located in. It has that small town America look & feel with local shops and restaurants located down the street. Evoke has a mostly white interior which made the place look very clean. Their coffee menu wasn't very big but they offered the basics: espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, mocha, etc. They also had hot chocolate, apple cider, loose leaf tea, beer and wine! The pastry case contained some pretty yummy treats! Prices were very fair. There were lots of tables and high speed wifi. This is a great place to study or just for hanging out with friends. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere very much.

A surprising find in Edmond! Friendly and helpful staff. We came in for coffee and tea and ended up stayed for sandwiches for lunch! A quite and comfortable place to catch up on reading!

  • Stacy H.

I like to scope out local cafes everywhere I travel to. Apparently this is a popular one for OKC since nearly every seat is taken. I'm not impressed with the coffee or the atmosphere. It is nice and open but not a whole lot of character besides the giant creepy mural. WTF is that thing?!? They serve drinks and coffee and food, have free wifi, a few wall outlets for your laptop, lots of seating, good lighting, and late art. Not over-run by hipsters and it is in a cute spot in downtown Edmond. Really mediocre vanilla latte.

When you open the door and walk into Evoke, you will seriously go, "wow"! The contemporary decor is great. Each time I've been in, the service is perfect. To your left is a long bar, with stools, to sit and enjoy a cup, without feeling rushed or awkward. The lunch items are limited, but the ones I've tried, very good. Tables also plentiful. They have a funky checkout! I went in late on a Saturday night around thanksgiving, and it has a good bar feel, EXCEPT they had these awful fluorescent lights that really kill the "cool" mood. People were congregating in the back, having a glass of wine or cup of coffee, and that was nice to see in downtown Edmond. But, because of the garish lighting, they just stuck out. seriously hope the owners lower the lights, when the sun goes down, and light some congresspeople would flock to this place! 2/24/13 I ran in before church and grabbed an espresso to go and was relieved and excited to see the owners have installed some really neat pin lights, I guess they are called, suspended from the ceiling in the back...I've got to go at night and check it out. The guys at the coffee bar are always super nice. And I still rave about their check-out. You have an option on every purchase to add a tip! and they tell me it's less expensive for them to use this system than those offered by MasterCard, Visa, etc. I think he said $300 a year, versus a percent for each transaction.

When I travel I like to hit every coffee joint in a town worth visiting. Sure, I'll be overly caffeinated, but it's worth it to know what's great around the nation. If you are traveling to central Oklahoma, Evoke is one of three shops you should be visiting. Let's break down the reasons. 1. Espresso based drinks are very strong. The baristas know what they are doing. This is really 90% of the reason for me. 2. Ambiance: The shop is trendy, people are friendly, it's easy to hang out here for a nice chunk of time, either with my family or alone. 3. Baked goods are pretty tasty. If you're an OKC local the drive up to Edmond feels so far, but each time I've gone I've smiled and thought to myself, "so worth it."

    (5)
  • Douglas D.

Evoke is everything you want in a great coffee experience and who would think it would be downtown Edmond. I ordered coffee and loved the roasted flavor. The service was good and waitstaff answered any questions about roasting and the different coffees/espressos available. I liked the fact that I could sit down and not have to listen to a conservation 2 feet away like so many packed coffeehouses. Definitely worth the visit.

    (5)
  • Shirley M.

Coffee is great! Service is ok, nothing to brag about. The atmosphere is good except for the music. It needs something to make the place more lively.

    (4)
  • Kate H.

Took my coffee snob best friend from Seattle here, she pronounced it one of the top 5 espressos of her life. Never had a bad experience here.

    (5)
  • Rachel H.

How can I possibly be the first to review this place? The atmosphere is perfect. Modern aesthetic, great music and outlets galore. They have a great back patio that is a fun place for those breezy nights. The service is the most friendly of all the hip coffee joints in the metro. You are always greeted with a smile, and I have never witnessed a smug response to any request or question. Another thing that I have to mention is the menu. Everything I have tried is amazing. Do not miss out on the scones, chocolate crinkles or the table top smores action. Sandwiches, soups and hummus are all perfect too. I don't think it's on the menu, but if you ask, they will make you an amazing veggie sandwich. Obviously, the coffee is fantastic. Try a cane latte, or a mocha and you will not be disappointed. They are open late, and serve wine and beer, which make it a great place to watch the games or have a night cap.

    (5)
  • David C.

Expensive and pretentious. Just what Edmond needed. No couches or arm chairs but what they do have is surprisingly comfortable. This is the place to meet your hipster buddies, or read the New York Times review section. Here's one thing I don't like. Run a card and the Ipad will give you three tipping options: 15% 20% 25% Hmm.

    (4)
  • Sneha P.

Excellent latte, good service, and friendly staff. I also loved the atmosphere; I did not expect it in Edmond, Oklahoma. An awesome coffee shop in downtown Edmond. I will go back when I am ever in town.

  • Addison G.

Great shop and good coffee. Wish I lived closer so I could stop by every morning. The iced coffee is my go to. Great stuff!

    (5)
  • Karen G.

My son loves this place. It is good, not great to me so far. A very good variety of coffees. While very smooth, the coffees that I have gotten are not very hot and sort of weak. Very nice employees. Seems just a little pricey, but given the atmosphere, it seemed expected to me. Trendy place.

    (3)
  • Newt R.

Service is wonderful and friendly, lattes and cappuccino are amazing. We didn't love the whole bean coffee we bought, but that is just personal preference.

  • Jason V.

Evoke is one of the best coffee houses in Oklahoma! This is not your normal Starbucks, roasted 6 months ago, bitter (in need of creamer and sugar to mask the coffee) coffee house. Evoke prepares fresh roasted coffee from some of the best roasters in America. Their espresso is GREAT and will not disappoint. Of the three great coffee houses in OKC metro area, Evoke produces consistently the best espresso. Good coffee starts with GREAT beans, but GREAT espresso requires diligence, work, and artistic flare. The baristas and owners there know their stuff! Jenny and Jason have produced on multiple occasions GREAT espresso. If espresso is not your thing, they make a great cup of coffee too! I recommend the hand poured! I have found the hand poured coffee to be great, not bitter, and well deserving of the time spent with it :) Give them more time as craftsmen and I believe they will excel for years unless "The mass produce make more money bug" infects them. Evoke has AMAZING customer service! Jason and Jenny are doing great work there! They are professional and friendly providing and atmosphere that is enjoyable! This is a great place to hang out, meet someone, have a date, or work (if work you must). This is the most comfortable coffee house to hang out in Oklahoma. They are willing to discuss their coffee and very knowledgable! This is worth visiting Edmond!! (and there are not many reasons why I like to be in Edmond :) So THAT is saying a lot!!! :) Great work Evoke!

  • John S.

The food was good but choices were limited. The waffle sandwich was good but took a long time to prepare. The real complaint was the batista who pre pared the latte. It was cold when we got it. We immediately went to the counter when our name was called but it was cold.

    (3)
  • A M.

They have awesome boxed sandwiches for only around $5.50. This is a very trendy spot. Great for casual meetings, coffee dates, etc. The coffee is different, almost on the bitter side, if that's what your prefer. The desserts are delicious and the hummus!

    (4)
  • Katherine B.

The coffee was good, but I felt like the atmosphere was trying a bit too hard to be "hey we're cool and urban" instead of just naturally *being* cool and urban. The OKC area has plenty of neat coffee shops to visit, and I'll probably visit elsewhere next time.

    (2)
  • Sarah B.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. After being in Europe, the coffee shops in Oklahoma seem more commercial or corporate than chill spots to hang out. Until now. Evoke is perfect. Spot on decor, unbelievable coffee and open late with wine on the weekends. Yes! Finally!!

    (5)
  • Jennifer S.

I think i've found heaven! Being here makes me feel like studying! The decor is amazing - all white everything! It is big and had great great great drink and pastry choices! Also i heard that they serve wine of the weekends! How awesome is that?! I've been here a couple of times with my girls just to chill and be productive at the same time - this plan usually does not work - but when it comes to Evoke it does work! I don't know what it is about this place but it makes you want to get your stuff done!

If only Edmond would had a place like this when I was a kid, I might not have moved away.

    (5)
  • Chris P.

as a self professed coffee snob, I'm always on the hunt for good and especially great coffee. Well if you're looking in Edmond look no further. Evoke has all the makings of a happening shop, including delicious coffee by some of the biggest names in the game: Handsome, Verve, PT and OKC local elemental. The decor is awesome, looks like it should belong in NYC, or Los Angeles, except it's far too spacious to be somewhere like that, it's plenty roomy so you don't always have to be too "friendly" to the other folks trying to enjoy their drink. The selections include delicious espresso drinks, with awesome latte art pulled by awesome knowledgable baristas on one of the coolest espresso machines I've ever seen. I'm not a drinker, but the "adult beverage" selection seemed pretty extensive and the fact that on the weekends it keeps its doors open until 12pm makes this a fabulous date spot... I challenge you to go in and get a latte for here, and enjoy or, maybe a pour over of the that day's coffee and see if you don't want to come back! alright, Evoke, I wrote this awesome review because I'm psyched that Oklahoma is finally stepping up it's coffee game, (and i actually really enjoy this shop) Now don't let me (or anyone who goes in based on this review) down!!!! Also: to those who would complain about the pricing. If you think it's too ridiculous go ahead and go back to your chain store, you obviously don't understand the idea behind craft coffee yet... but when you're interested in learning why it costs $1 more than that chain store, ask the baristas...

    (5)
  • Jon S.

This place is great. The drinks are well made and taste great. The employees can be very rude at times. Kinda coffee snobs. If they could smile every once in awhile it would make it a much better place to hang out.

    (5)
  • Lisa P.

If you like lattes with a punch ask for their Cortado. It's not on the menu, but they execute it perfectly. Not to mention the gentleman barista is a true coffee enthusiast! I loved "nerding out" with him over real macchiatos.

    (5)
  • Nathan P.

Groovy atmosphere. Fancy coffee. Solid beer and wine options. It's the Cadillac of coffee shops and it's time for you to put your meat in their java-tinged seat.

I love studying at Cafe Evoke. Nice atmosphere, good quality and variety of drinks.

  • beth c.

I went there on a Saturday evening. Was in a good mood until it took over 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee. No, the line was not that long, just very incompetent wait staff. Very pretentious place, too. I guess that passes for hip in places in Oklahoma. What a disappointment. And by the way, the coffee was $4+ and tasted like heated up water....Sad.

  • Patty R.

I am so glad this place is in Edmond. They have created a NON SNOBBY coffee atmosphere. The customer service is friendly and they don't make you feel like an idiot when you order something simple or complicated. They have THE MOST AMAZING snickerdoodle cookies on the planet. They change out their beer and wine menu selection often which is cool! the easiest drink Skinny Vanilla Latte is my favorite and they've never did me wrong on it, they are a class act place and a great addition to the Edmond area!

    (5)
  • Steve R.

Downtown Edmond is getting hipper with more new spots like Evoke. Sleek and cool interior is inviting to hipster-wannabes like me. The sparse menu is a little intimidating though. Luckily, I know how to order a shi-shi poo-poo drink from Starbucks, so I'm undaunted. If you ride a bike, just wheel 'er in and park toward the back of the store. Order a latte and you'll see their artwork in the foam.

    (3)
  • Matina H.

Nice open feel, delicious French press. The hummus plate is great but I'd like it much better with fresh pita & veggies instead of salty pita chips. More veggie/vegan options would be appreciated. Love the original artwork.

  • Storme W.

This place is as good as it gets as far as coffee shops go. So glad to have a real, solid shop for coffee lovers in Edmond. They stock fantastic beans. Their baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. And they have a great wine and beer selection. The shop itself is warm, modern and inviting. Evoke planted a flag on the north side that made Edmond instantly cooler. I hope other great local establishments will follow.

I flew into town from Los Angeles to attend a conference called "Marked" and Cafe Evoke had a coffee booth set up. I stood in line hearing chattering that they had "the best coffee ever!" But I wasn't expecting too much. This was a traveling operation after all and I had been in the coffee industry over 9 years and have traveled the world extensively- enough to know that good coffee does not come from a cart. I ordered an Americano... DECAF (which is usually a guarantee that bitterness will follow.) I walked into the concert and began to sip my beverage and I couldn't believe it. Smooth, nutty, caramely, and no bitter after-bite. The only other time I have experienced this was at Cafe Roma in San Francisco. If you have been there you know you can order an espresso straight up, sit on the S.F. streets and think you have died and gone to heaven. With Cafe Evoke Catering the only thing that was missing was the quaint little city street. (I guess the concert and the blissful Americano made up for it.) 5 STARS!!!

  • Braden D.

Evoke is the premier coffee shop of Edmond. It's high quality drinks and snacks, including lunch, make this the place to go. They also serve alcohol, which is a nice change. The baristas are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is low key, and a mix of local art infuses life into this downtown shop.

    (4)
  • Richard F.

Really hit or miss. This place has "serious" baristas who just really come off very pretentious. Every once in a while there's someone who seems genuinely happy to be working there, but most of the time the baristas seem disingenuous. The coffee. Depending on the roaster that they have it's also hit or miss. Sometimes they have good coffees other times they don't. And I feel like it takes the baristas too long to get used to the new coffees that they offer so they never get dialed in. One thing that is a mark of goodness is their waffles. Great waffle sandwich for brunch. But also those profit margins must be insane. Freaking $7 or more for a waffle. Anyway. If it wasn't for the ever present pretentiousness and the under extracted coffee this place could be good.

Wonderful staff, cool atmosphere, and some of the best espresso I've ever had. Evoke is a great place to hang out or have meetings. I do homework here sometimes, however sometimes the room echoes when there is a lot of people which makes it hard to concentrate. It's probably my favorite coffee shop to have a meet up though. They also serve alcohol and GREAT brunch!

On our quest for a great cup we stopped by this little shop in Edmond. The atmosphere was kind of start and cold but the pastry display caught my eye. These goodies looked delicious! We got the salted caramel blondie and the large chocolate chip cookie. Just perfect- soft and yummy. I ordered the Peru pour over and my husband got the latte. I liked mine, though I had to go up to the counter to ask for cream. There wasn't any available. The cashier was a little less then friendly. She seemed impatient while ringing us up too. My husband didn't love the latte. He gave it a 6 out of 10. Not bad just not great. It was missing flavor. Maybe another shot would help. The waffle sandwiches looked really good but we just went for coffee.

I've come here twice and I've really really enjoyed it both times! They have a more modern feel but I like that it's different. Their staff is super nice and very accommodating when problems arise. And then add on the coffee, I give them two thumbs up. I've tried the americano (iced and hot) and their iced latte. All great. I also tried their pumpkin bread which was moist and delicious. They also have a couple of other food items on their menu that sounded appetizing. I would definitely come back. It's a great place to chill. If you were to meet with a friend or a group of friends, you would be able to conversate freely! I would not recommend it for someone who likes studying in a completely quiet environment. But, I enjoy a little background noise/action while I study (with headphones on).

I like to support local shops, especially when they create a solid product. Evoke's coffee is delicious and distinctive, but what is consistently unpleasant is the lengthy wait for that cup o' joe. If you have time and patience, Evoke is worth the wait. If you are in a hurry or have an impatient personality, you may want to choose elsewhere.

Everything about this place is perfect. They brew coffee from a great roaster based out of SF and have delicious food options. I had both the cinnamon roll waffle and their granola with milk - both very rich, but very good! Atmosphere is sleek industrial with some colorful and aesthetically pleasing touches. Plus, the service is top-notch. Friendly baristas and good vibes all around. Also It seems like a great place to get work done - bottomless drip coffee refills and plenty of outlets.

I love coming here on weekday mornings. The staff is super friendly and they have an awesome selection of beverages. When I ordered a yogurt parfait I didn't care for, the barista went above and beyond to make it right, giving me any other breakfast item to swap out and a free drink card for next time. This is a great shop!

Café Evoke has some incredible coffee, and a bunch of sweet and savory food offerings, too. There's a pastry case front and center, but otherwise not much sign of the full range of delicious menu items that Café Evoke also offers. Don't be fooled: there are plenty of choices for a good breakfast or lunch, not to mention craft beer and wine. I wish I could comment on the menu because it looks so good! I don't know how much of the kitchen is used, though, as most tables seem to be filled with patrons enjoying coffee and working rather than dining in. Rating Evoke is tough, though. I really like Café Evoke - from the coffee to the community it serves. However, the interior buzz is way too loud. There is nothing on the walls except the bar shelving. Add to that loud music, the machines used at the bar, and tables filled with people who are excited about their coffee and their company, (not to mention the occasional screaming child), and a headache is born. Most shops these days are cheerfully humming, but on my last several visits to Evoke, I found it decibels louder than I could bear. The coffee is good, but I won't be hanging out without earplugs. I'll get a to-go cup and slide on over to the library where the other grumps hang out. :)

@cafeevoke is my favorite new hipster place for mornings. They seriously have the best coffee and, my favorite, the breakfast burrito. My mouth is watering as I wait for it to approach my table. I am so in love with this place.

After previously disliking this place I've grown to like it. Their coffee is pretty good and their staff is always nice. The most important part is that it's one of the first non-chain coffee shops in Edmond.

Best coffee shop in Edmond! The staff is extremely nice and catering. A lot of high school and college kids come here to study or hang out. Would highly recommend for a first date. Coffee prices are comparable to Starbucks, entrees are a bit expensive compared to portion size.

Great vibe, cool place, very popular. I enjoy going and getting a small French press pot and meeting friends. My only complaint is there have never been any really bold/dark roasts. I like really dark blends, so I still go to Starbucks for my actual coffee desires.

Coffee is great! Service is ok, nothing to brag about. The atmosphere is good except for the music. It needs something to make the place more lively.

The food was good but choices were limited. The waffle sandwich was good but took a long time to prepare. The real complaint was the batista who pre pared the latte. It was cold when we got it. We immediately went to the counter when our name was called but it was cold.

Yes! Finally!!

    (5)
  • Chris P.

as a self professed coffee snob, I'm always on the hunt for good and especially great coffee.

This place is great. The drinks are well made and taste great. The employees can be very rude at times. Kinda coffee snobs. If they could smile every once in awhile it would make it a much better place to hang out.

If you like lattes with a punch ask for their Cortado. It's not on the menu, but they execute it perfectly. Not to mention the gentleman barista is a true coffee enthusiast! I loved "nerding out" with him over real macchiatos.

Great shop and good coffee. Wish I lived closer so I could stop by every morning. The iced coffee is my go to. Great stuff!

My son loves this place. It is good, not great to me so far. A very good variety of coffees. While very smooth, the coffees that I have gotten are not very hot and sort of weak. Very nice employees. Seems just a little pricey, but given the atmosphere, it seemed expected to me. Trendy place.

Service is wonderful and friendly, lattes and cappuccino are amazing. We didn't love the whole bean coffee we bought, but that is just personal preference.

Nice open feel, delicious French press. The hummus plate is great but I'd like it much better with fresh pita & veggies instead of salty pita chips. More veggie/vegan options would be appreciated. Love the original artwork.
