Great little find. This place hit the spot as we were looking for a quick breakfast before going to the fort that is located just up the hill. Excellent portions at a reasonable price. Everything we had was really good from French toast to omelets. The retro decor was somewhat charming and some of the antique bicycles were really interesting to see.

What they said- it's all true. Super local flavor- get your BLT & fry-o-later items and be happy. Best chicken fingers I've had in years.

Big up to small town middle american joints still keeping it real. As is the case with most places like this your best bet is a salad sandwich of some sort (tuna, egg, chicken) a patty melt or the special of the day. This place delivers on all of them. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Ticonderoga for lunch.

The Burleigh Luncheonette is an old school, greasy spoon complete with a lunch counter. The place is decked out with old bicycles hanging from the ceiling and records nailed to the walls. They only serve breakfast and lunch. I'm pretty serve everything is frozen or processed (they don't even pretend to use real steak in the steak sandwich as it's listed a Stekum sandwich on the menu), but everything I've ever eaten here sure tasted damn good. If you are looking for a quick, cheap and tasty meal, check it out.

I went there today and it was lovely! The waitresses were great fun, very chatty and helpful with directions (we were travelling through) and the food was great and reasonably prices. Can't fault it!

Nice little luncheonette at the end of the main drag. Ticonderoga is not like the other towns we've experienced near lake George it is very blue collar and the restaurant reflects it. In a good way. Our cheapest meal on the vacation do far, $29 for 4 sandwiches, 2 sodas and one chocolate malt. The malt was excellent the metal tin refilled my glass twice. My patty melt was diner quality and good. My daughter's sweet potato fries with strawberry Melba were great! I would call this a solid lunch choice in town.

Food was bad. Rude waitress. Acted like she was too good to serve us. No tip for her.

I really like this charming and funky little luncheonette. The decor is a throwback to the 50's, including the counter with those great revolving stools, and there are wonderful nostalgic touches floor to ceiling. Take a minute to check out the records in the jukebox. The food is good, too - nothing too fancy, but tasty and very reasonably priced. We shared an egg salad sandwich and home made soup. My friend had a patty melt. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I do note that they do not take credit cards, so you must use cash - but given the prices, not too much of that! Eating here is kind of like stepping into a time machine and going back to the 50's - and I enjoyed the whole experience. Who knows - maybe we'll see Fonzie on our next trip!

Quick, easy tasty. The tuna salad was pretty good, even by diner standards and the prices were cheap as hell. I think the tuna melt with chips was like $4.50 or something. A couple of negatives that make me knock it down to three stars. Cash only. Really? In 2015? I get that credit/debit are a bit more expensive for restaurants, but lets not pretend like it is make or break. Very inconvenient for customers. Secondly, I've never been to a diner that charges extra for lettuce, tomato, or onion on a sandwich. I get that the prices are rock bottom, but the tiny bit of lettuce I got on my sandwich wasn't worth charging a quarter for.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
