I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our hockey team came to this restaurant on a recommendation and i was extremely disappointed. My party ordered two simple burgers and we waited for 2 hours until it finally came to the table. When it was time for our bill we waited another hour for that to come. Service was terrible and the food was terrible. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great place to grab a quality Burger and beer. It looks like a diner and located in a pretty random location. That said, don't let that fool you. I had "the pittsford" burger which was very satisfying. It would be cool if they had more of a bar area but its no big deal. I plan to go back and explore their other burger options. Excellent service as well....

Way over rated in my opinion and I've tried now 4 times. Service was OK nothing special. I've tried 4 different burger selections and every time each was dripping wet in oil and fat...went through tons of napkins pissing off the waitress when asking for more. I'd pass on this place if your looking for a real burger try 5 Guys...much better.

We always have a good experience when we go here. Servers are very nice and attentive, and burgers are tasty with lots of variety. I would like to see maybe a more diverse selection of items that are not burgers, but since that is their specialty I guess the focus is on the burgers. Overall great little place, and family friendly.

This place holds a bit of nostalgia for me, as I grew up right in the area and Lindburgers was a "treat" when my mom had had enough of cooking -- my brother and I always chose Lindburgers for their pizza rolls! Ha, how times have changed. I took my little brother here for a sibling date on Friday and we had an a-ok time. It's nothing amazing, but they have about a gazillion burger options and you can customize them any way you want - yay! I forget the name of the burger I had - but it had BBQ sauce and raw onions on it, which I asked to have them grilled instead of raw. The barbecue sauce was a tad sweet for me, but that aside, the burger was cooked to perfection - a beautiful medium rare for me. It was a dwarfed a bit by the bun, but the onions and sauce were a yummy combo, even though the sauce came on the side and I had to assemble it myself. I can see why they do this - I hate a soggy, wet burger, and the option to sauce it up myself prevented that. It came with fries that were cooked nicely, and there were A TON. The burgers are 7oz each, so I was stuffed with just the burger! My brother got both the chicken fingers with honey mustard and the pizza logs. I ate one of the logs (four come with the order) and there were awesome -- it's probably a kid thing, but they took me right back to childhood! Deep fried yumminess. My brother proclaimed both those and the chicken fingers to be very good. He was most impressed with his root beer, which came with an icy, frozen beer mug to pour it into. He was pretty obsessed with that, and I thought it was a cute accompaniment to the soda. Our server was "meh" -- it's like she really hated her job, but was trying so hard to be pleasant. She wasn't nasty to us at all, but I could just tell she was not having the best time. Hopefully it was just an off night. It's pretty affordable for the food - our bill for the above inclusive of a tip was about $35. It was pretty full, which was nice to see at 6pm on a Friday. Try them out!

If you want a juicy bun soaking experience come here. Many, many suggested combos and the option to make your own. The mushrooms on my burger were piled high and wafer thin. The onions were caramelized and succulent. The bacon still had crunch and the melted cheddar was over flowing. The servings are generous.

My first trip to Lindburgers in years. I was surprised at how bad things were. The good: the place was clean and nice. Service was excellent. Staff were all very friendly. Burger topping choices are unique. The bad: Ordered the soup of the day; loaded potato. I would not suggest this. Loaded potato soup shouldn't have carrots, onions, and celery in it. The soup was bland. I've had better out of a can. The place is known for burgers, but I wonder why. The burgers are small, but really thick. Once the toppings are on they are hard to eat. They are not pure beef, and there seems to be some mix put in to thicken them up. I think I saw some oats in the burger. It also came on a ciabatta roll, so a tiny burger on rectangular roll. I'm glad I squeezed it when I picked it up. I ended up with a large puddle on my plate. Now I like a juicy burger, but this would have been a mess. Lastly there was no real flavor to the burger. All in, I would have to say go elsewhere for a burger, just about every other place makes one better.

Honestly I'm completely dumbfounded at how this establishment has such high reviews. I would have a burger at Five Guys or even Burger King 10/10 times before ever thinking of coming back here. They have a lot of burger options on their menu (something like 30-50) with options to replace fries with chili fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings like any standard burger joint, but everything is buried 6 feet under in endless grease. Not only that, everything is the exact same texture - soft. There is no crunch or anything to break away from a mushy burger, a mushy bun, and mushy toppings. My burger had mushrooms, grilled onions, and bacon and yet despite these items usually having natural texture to them, everything was seeping with fat and soft and disgusting. I could go to any college campus and still surely find anything better than what I found in the burgers here. Sadly the sides are no better - the fries were not crispy at all, and one of my friends who got the chili cheese fries did find chili (yay?) but the entire thing was covered in a mass of congealed cheese. If you're looking for a disgusting heart attack on a plate, this is your best bet. I think I will be passing on all future occasions.

Went to Lindburgers last weekend. Been there a few times. Lindburgers specialty is burgers and the menu lists about 30 -40 variations. The burgers are cooked to order, large and satisfying. The fries are tasty as are the onion rings. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out quickly. What else could you want? I wish Lindburgers would find a way to heat the sourdough buns without butter. But heck, who am I to say a word about butter when eating a burger and fries. I like Lindburgers. Based on my experiences, it may be the best gourmet burger value in town. Expect Great Things,

This place has a HUGE list of burgers and sandwiches. You can get any type of burger imaginable.... great for kids and families- kids meals come on frisbies... if you can wait. It doesn't matter if you are the only group in the restaurant or the place is jam packed and you are a party of 10... they are pretty slow. If you can get past the wait time it's pretty good. Favorite burger? The Reuben Burger w/ a meatless patty.... about 50 to choose from.... worth a stop.

Disappointing...food was tasteless (burger and salad). Service was deplorable - tried to flag down the server three times and she just ignored us. The upside was the nachos were decent.

I've been here well over a dozen times over the years and this is consistently one of the best burgers in the area. These never disappoint and unless you think a whopper/big mac is a good example of a burger you'll probably love this place. Beware these are large/thick burgers and you get a lot of food for the money. Decore is a bit meh so the overall atmosphere really isn't that good, but that's not why I come here.

Eight of us had lunch. Four ordered the special of the day, beef on weck. The meat was fatty, dry and in large chunks that were hard to bite or chew. No one that ordered the special finished their sandwich. Two of us ordered our fries "extra crispy", but they were still pretty limp & soggy. The waitress was extremely nice & did a great job, but that did not make up for the food.

Awesome burgers and they will cook them to order (ie none of that some pink or no pink nonsense).

In my opinion, probably the best burger in Rochester if you like big fat burgers that you can order rare through well done. This is not a bill grays/tom walls, etc. place, which I also like. Service is spotty. Sometimes the food comes immediately, other times it takes forever. I think they have 50 different burgers you can get, maybe more. The regular burgers are 7 OZ., but they seem much larger. Maybe the beef doesn't shrink up much, I don't know but it seems like way more meat than 2 quarter pounders from McDs. They could actually do with making smaller ones for less money (maybe a 4 oz option?). Wings are amazing and so are chicken quesedillas, and chili cheese fries. The quality of the food is definitely very good although this place is pricey for burgers. My kids are still young enough to eat off the kids menu and even though my son is 12 and a good eater, he's stuffed by the kids burger. Cost for burgers with fries is about $9-10 and add another $2 for a soda. I have been here several times and you can see what I mean about the service being spotty if you look at other reviews. It's not the best organized kitchen. Last time, my GF ordered a salad, asking it to come out before her meal and it came after. WTF. I never heard a waiter say "I am sorry" more than I did here and not just that time but every time we've been there something gets messed up. However, it's a family run biz, which I like, the food as very good and even though I know I am rolling the dice on the service and how long we may be there (and it's pricey), if I am in the mood for a really solid belly filling medium rare burger, this place is great. I'm willing to put up with the minor service issues from time to time if I need a fix.

I was introduced to this place a while back by some friends of mine and ever since it has held a fond spot in my burger loving heart. This place is a burger lovers dream. There are over 50 different styles of burgers on the menu to sample from and from person experience I can say that many of them are excellent. After many visits though my person favorite has to be the Penfield Burger which just so happens to be where the restaurant is. The burger is a thick 8 to 9 oz beef patty with American cheese and crisp bacon which is then slathered with BBQ sauce. The sauce basically has no heat, but is delightfully sweet and thick. In accordance with my thoughts that anything can be made better with bacon, I accompany this slice of burger heaven with a side of their bacon-cheese fries. And trust me they are as delicious and probably artery blocking as they sound, but they are definitely worth it. The restaurant itself is pretty interesting and much larger than it appears from the outside. In keeping with a play on the name Lindbergh (the famous aviator for the history impaired), there is a large airplane motif. With lots of model planes and paintings of different aircraft. I like it though, it doesn't feel as forced or kitchy as your local Ruby-Apple-Fridays. If you're looking for a great burger and I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Its the best burger place I know of. Fast service. I would probably eat here more then once a week, but the brownie cake, carmel with ice cream desert is addictive and I am trying to lose some tonnage. Small groups work great and we go there every couple of months.
