We tried this place based on yelp reviews, and the fact that they have a real website with their menu. Plus this place is very reasonably priced. It looks like a fast food joint when you walk in. don't be fooled! Everything is cooked to order. It was great! My husband is gluten-free & I'm vegan so we had some questions about the different sauces. The girl at the register didn't know so she asked the cook. He came out, with his cookbook in hand, & walked us through the sauces, mixing and matching as we needed to! He said that they can change sauces for dishes and do it all the time. I ended up with a tofu veggie dish with a teriyaki sauce & my husband had a yellow curry, no soy sauce. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back!

Well after reading the reviews thought this place was going to be great. They seemed to accommodate gluten free even under gluten free in yelp. We were big time disappointed! They said everything has wheat. I asked if they could make me a salad said no has wheat. We were starving but left.

Food was okay but expensive; staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. Based on the quality I'd say I overpaid, but there was a lot of it and it came out quick.

Surprisingly good! We stopped by to get a quick dinner. I appreciate that they have pictures of all their items, it encouraged us to try new things. We started off with the Pot Stickers that were filled with chicken, cabbage, and onions. They were pretty good but tasted better with soy sauce. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef with fried rice and I had the chicken red curry with steamed rice. The Mongolian Beef was tender and spicy. I will definitely order this the next time. The chicken red curry wasn't like the Thai curry I am used to. In fact, it wasn't red at all and there was no heat to it at all. It was still good, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and they used tender white pieces of chicken. The portion sizes were very large and we couldn't finish our entrees. I am bummed that we forgot out to-go box on the table, we had enough for another whole meal. All in all, the prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is very clean and the food is fast and delicious. This is one of the better restaurants in Roswell.

Visiting from LA California and its hard to find a very tasty place in roswell surprisingly is good, We stopped by to get a quick dinner. Awesome that they have pictures of all their items, it encouraged us to try new things. I ordered the mangolian beef and it I loved it! Good flavor, tastes fresh. good proportion rice its okay could be better or I am used to in how the make it back home. For 2 people reasonable price around 25 bucks. Love how the place looks. but more importantly some of the best service ever. I highly recommend the Zen Asian diner to anyone in Roswell.

High quality asian cuisine with plenty to choose from. Top pick is Kung Pao chicken and steamed rice. The food is not greasy, plenty to share, and never leaves you feeling bogged down! My favorite place to eat in town!

Had a great experience. Visiting from northern ca and came with my family. Spoke with the owner, a husband and wife, and they were both very nice. I will be sure to come back, next time I'm in town. The food was really good, with a generous portion. Casual atmosphere.

I've always had consistently good food and consistently good service here. And portion size is large, we nearly always end up taking some home. It's clean and bright. Good place to go.

We went here based on other Yelp reviews and the food was freshly made and healthy, but it was just missing something - -like flavor. We had the Pad Thai, Mongolian Beef, and Yellow Curry. If you like your Asian food on the bland side, then this would be the place for you. But we prefer a zestier zen. Have to say, the crab wontons were probably the best we've ever had. STUFFED FULL of cream cheese. We would go back, but only for the crab wonton.

Had the Pad Thai. Not the best I've had, but not bad for Roswell. Friendly staff.

We stopped in Roswell on a Sunday afternoon enroute to Albuquerque and after some perusal of Yelp's recommendations that were open, selected Zen Asian Diner. We ordered the Vegetable Melee with chicken, Singapore Noodles with beef, the Imperial Eggrolls and the cold Summer Rolls. This was a lot of food for two, but we were optimistic. Imperial Spring Rolls proved to be the highlight of the meal, crisp, hot and appropriately savory. The Summer Rolls were more accurately Summer burritos, given their sheer size. Vegetables and chicken inside them could have been cut a lot finer. Even so, they weren't too bad. The Singapore Noodles with beef have a chili pepper beside them on the menu, but unless you avail yourself of the sauces in squeeze bottles at the condiment bar, you won't find any burn there. Similarly, the Vegetable Melee was more of a Vegetable Meh, which was greatly improved after a generous addition of hot sauce. Don't get me wrong, the food was well cooked, seemed to have quality ingredients and was served hot and promptly. It simply failed to excite. The iced tea was pleasantly strong, although he paper Pepsi cups lent a cardboard note to the flavor. The dining environment was a bit noisy, although that improved immensely with the departure of a table of screeching small kids.

Good, fresh, warm, chinese fastfood. Service was fast. Friendly and accommodating waitresses. I hope they stay that way ;) I liked the imperial eggrolls, red curry. Wonton soup was ok..

I really like their singapore noodle. A lot. Tasty and reminiscent of the Malaysian food I had in Vancouver. Although I know they aren't the same but the spices are there. I would suggest getting it with beef. I want to say the fat brings out the flavor, but then again I have no culinary skills. Regardless, it's my favorite.

Not gonna lie I do like this place. I ordered take out and the lady on the phone was very nice and efficient. I got the chicken lettuce wraps (these were the only things that needed a little work), Crab Wontons, Red Chicken Curry with fried rice and a small wonton soup (I was hungry!). Portions were perfect! The inside of the building was inviting and the menu was easy to understand. The chicken cups were a little dry and needed a little more flavor. A little sauce fixed this. Everything else was very fresh and tasty. I had plenty of left overs. To top it off, they were fast and it wasn't very expensive at all!

Total disappointment.. went there after reading yelp reviews. My husband dish was beef siracha with noodles and his description of the taste was it tasted like b/o. So we told them it was gross and we couldn't eat it and ordered Mongolian beef instead and they actually charged us. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was eidible but is not how sweet and sour chicken should taste , which is sad because it's a easy dish. My husband's second dish , the Mongolian beef, was fine except for some reason they put mushrooms in it which turned him off to the dish. Pretty clear that will not be dinning with them again.

Just got back from dinner there, and although it is no PF Chang (just look at the pic!!) I had good meal and no overall complaints. The place seemed like a cross between a fast food joint (they have a drive through and an order counter...) and a sit down place... except it's not just a fast food joint cz they will bring out the food to your table and the place looks a lot nicer than just a fast food joint... I was first disappointed when I walked in, i wasn't in the mood for chinese fast food.. but then I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu is quite varied with Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese favorites, the service was quick and the food was fine. Not the best Thai Red Curry i've have but also not the worse. I was satisfied :)

My hubby and I LOVE this place. You can call in your order on the way to the restaurant and they'll have it hot and ready when you get there. I order the nutty kung pao (extra spicy with shrimp) or the red curry. The curry is good, but not amazing. The kung pao is absolutely perfect every time. My Husband orders the beef with brocolli without onions. The lettuce wraps almost make me forget I live in Roswell Nm. =) Even with order modifications, they have never once messed it up. It's a little pricey for the amount of food you get (for Roswell), but totally worth it for guaranteed yum.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
