Every cupcake I've had from here is dry. I'm pretty sure the cupcakes are frozen, because the icing crumbles when I put my fork into it. DiBartolo's is a couple of doors down. Do yourself a favor if you have a cupcake craving and spent the extra $1 to get a FRESH, tasty cupcake! This place is awful.

This place is perfect for a sweet treat after an excellent Collingswood dinner. I usually like to pick one or two to share and bring them home. I haven't found a flavor I didn't like there. Straightforward place - solid cupcakes at a reasonable price. Only constructive feedback would be to be open a little later, but I totally understand that stuff shuts down at 9 around here.

Overall, a charming place for a sweet treat! My Little Kupkake happily took a special order for my July 4th party this summer. All I had to do was email them a picture of what I wanted and they reproduced it perfectly, at no extra cost!

Ick, I had a cupcake from here which I picked up from DIbrunos in the city, and I was not impressed. Im a cupcake fanatic, so I take cupcakes seriously! The cake itself was dry and dense, the icing was too sweet and there was entirely too much of it. If you're going to market and sell your cupcakes in another location, at least ensure they're good.

This is a great bakery. It's located in Collingswood on Haddon Avenue, centered among many other popular restaurants and stops such as the Pop Shop. There is no parking in the most immediate vicinity, being Collingswood, so you have to find a side street area to park. They have really convenient hours too - open till six on Sunday! That's super late for any bakery I know of. I love all their special diet options! I'm a vegan and they ALWAYS have individual vegan cupcakes made to buy. They also have gluten-free available. They do cakes in addition to cupcakes, so don't let the name convince you they are limited to just the latter. There are a TON of flavors too! I posted a photo of the menu, fyi, if you're looking specifically. So far I have had (all vegan) the chocolate tuxedo, which was my least favorite and then the chocolate banana, which was the next best. My two favorites were the chocolate raspberry (which could have been better if there were more raspberries and raspberries present throughout the entire cupcake, not just a few on top) and the best was definitely the vanilla blueberry. I'm not usually a vanilla kind of gal, but really enjoyed this flavor! Blueberries baked into a light vanilla batter and topped with yummy vanilla icing. It was perfect! They always have individual cupcakes of the regular sort as well in an even more diverse range of flavors. They also have mini cupcakes. They are a little pricey, $4 per vegan cupcake, but the cupcakes are on the larger side and have a perfect ratio of frosting to cake. Any vegan in the area, check this place out if you have a sweet tooth! Would also recommend this place to anyone with a gluten allergy or even without any restrictions at all; the cupcakes are on point!

Mondays in Collingswood are pretty quiet. Most of the stores and even some restaurants are closed. Luckily My Little Kupkake is open 7 days a week! My mother and I stopped in to get a few cupcakes to bring to bring to a family member's home later that evening. As soon as we walked in I was completely intoxicated by the sweet smell of sugar. So many cupcakes...so many flavors! It was hard to choose but we decided on 6 large cupcakes; red velvet, chocolate peanut butter, carrot cake, coconut, triple chocolate and chocolate covered pretzel. A large cupcake runs for about $4. Later that evening everyone loved the cupcakes. The cake portion of the cupcake was consistently moist and the frosting was sweet but not too sweet. I only personally tried the coconut and chocolate covered pretzel and both were delish. Most of the cupcake cakes are vanilla and chocolate with the frosting and other toppings distinguishing the flavors. My Little Kupkake sells mini cupcakes ($1.25 each or 12 for $12), vegan and gluten free cupcakes, cookies, whoopie pies and even makes custom cakes. Follow MLK on Facebook to see the latest creations. Another bonus? Free mini cupcake when you check in!

Cute little cupcake shop in downtown Collingswood, we stopped by from dessert after a not so awesome lunch. We tried a red velvet, and an almond joy cupcake. The cupcakes are huge and priced a $3, I enjoyed the almond joy the most the chocolate cake had coconut mixed in and the frosting was creamy. The red velvet was just okay, I thought the cake tasted more like a muffin, the cream cheese icing was good though. I would come back if I were in the area, the staff was really friendly and the shop gives out generous samples. Free mini-cupcake when you check in!

A cupcake craving can hit you very unexpectedly, and I didn't think it would happen in the middle of the day until I spotted My Little Kupkake's mini cupcakes sitting all adorably together. Cupcakes + mini = most girls' weakness. Mini anything makes me want it, and when it comes to desserts its a serious weakness of mine because it means that I get to try a whole bunch of different things/flavors! I couldn't help myself and got 12 of the different mini cupcakes, including the following flavors: French Toast, Cinnamon Roll, Banana Cream, Peppermint Patty, Chocolate Lemon Curd, Swedish Fish, Ginger Lemon, Chocolate Birthday Cake, Honey Pear, Caramel Popcorn, Strawberry Shortcake, and Cranberry Orange. Usually when I review a few different flavors, I like to break it down individually, but I'm not even going to bother here because the simple truth is that I really didn't like ANY of these cupcakes. All of the cupcakes were dry and rather tasteless, including the chocolate which really should've had a deeper chocolate flavor. And the buttercream frosting had a serious emphasis on BUTTER, and that's pretty much all I could taste. Of the flavors I tried, the ones that were real offenders were the Honey Pear (WHAT flavor???? I got nothing!) and the Banana Cream (UGH, there's nothing worse than that FAKE banana flavoring, use a real banana!). I'm sorry, but I just could not find any of these worth eating, one bite and I ended up throwing them all out. At least I've learned my lesson about indulging any sudden cravings, especially for miniature things.

Ok I really hate to do this cause the place looks really cute and inviting but the two cupcakes I bought a red velvet and triple chocolate I figured you can't screw that up... boy was I wrong first off though the girl that was there was kinda snooty I first inquired about the Mexican chocolate cupcake of course I was told they were all incredible.... when I asked about what kind of Mexican chocolate was used I was told they didn't have any Mexican chocolate that it was called that because they used cayenne pepper I must have given a confused look seeing as cayenne pepper isn't Mexican.... then the counter girl got offended and said look I don't make them they just call them Mexican so ppl buy them.... I should of walked away but I still bought two... the red velvet cake was super dry and bland and the cream cheese frosting was runny I threw it out when I took a bite of the triple chocolate I thought they must have sold me one a few days old it was do dry and the frosting was really gritty it was not good at all I hate wasting money just to throw out my purchase.... but from the rest of the reviews it seems to be a common thing...I wish I had looked it up first.... and kcup coffee and teas really? ? Talk about lazy and not worth buying in a restaurant I could just make that at home... by the way I am Mexican adding the word Mexican that doesn't actually have anything to do with the culture or food is just rude and borderline racist... your cupcakes should be good to sell themselves no need to bring us into it... aghhh I'm so annoyed. ..

I am a huge fan of this little cupcake shop and love to sing its praises. The decor is charming and inviting, the staff is pleasant and excited to talk about the various flavors and baked goods, and the cupcakes are delicious. It has become a weekly tradition to take my mother to the shop to get her favorite red velvet, while I am a huge fan of the cherry cheesecake. I love to support small businesses that bring Main Street America charm to a sadly overly franchised South Jersey region. My Little Kupkake is the epitome of that kind of wonderful, local small business that brings so much to its community (in addition to delicious cupcakes!). They rotate a daily selection of tasty flavors, and have often told me they would be more than happy to bake up a batch of my favorite cherry cheesecake cupcakes if I call ahead. What a fabulous gesture! And certainly something you can only find in a small business that really cares about its customers :)

I'm not really sure why there are negative reviews - the place is a great addition to Haddon Ave.!! The place is clean and fun. The staff are always patient and friendly. We have gone there at least 6 times. It's also a good alternative to Groove Ground, which tends to get super packed. Everyone in our family likes different desserts, so this place is perfect because each person can get their own flavor!

I always think its amazing to walk into an establishment that apparently has a cross dimensional doorway. CM and Jessica apparently walked into a dimension where the cupcakes aren't good. Luckily, I walked into a dimension where they were very good indeed. So let's break it down. I've been there four times and have yet to get anything I don't like. Yes, the cake batters do tend to be straight vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet, but all are tasty and light. I have bought about ten dozen cupcakes and have yet to have a dry one. The batter must incorporate a bit or meringue as all the cakes have the light chewy signature to them. I think it's a great touch. the vanilla cake is also richly yellow, which I suspect a traditional addition of saffron. As far as the look and feel of the place, the multidimensional shop I walked into more resembled my 90 year old aunt's parlor. Collingswood prides itself on it heritage, so I think it's a nice vibe. It's clean, it's neat, and they serve delicious food. I have yet to be there when they have less than a dozen flavors. Currently my favorite is the peanut butter and jelly, which has a lightly sweet fluffy peanut butter icing, a dot of peanut butter filling, and a drizzle of grape flavored swirl on top. It's quickly backed up by the oreo cookie cupcake, which my son and I agree tastes just like an oreo cakester. Just looking through what I have in my fridge there's lemon, mango, chocolate peanut butter, red velvet, coconut, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon bun, and - hmm - there was a butterfinger but apparently my kid just made off with it. These treats don't last long in Marco's house. So I've also tried their cookies, which are yum. The rocky road had a bit too much marshmallow in it for me, but the kid loved the chewiness it brought. Chocolate chip peanut butter and oatmeal were both excellent offerings. Pies and tarts are advertised on the menu, but I've yet to see them in the store, I'll ask today when I swing by. So why not 5 starts? The cupcakes come in those little paper bake cups. While it seems like no big deal, when you have big hands like I do, and you are trying to manipulate a teeny cupcake with warm frosting to get the paper off the base, it can be a mes. I'd really prefer they dispense with the paper on the smallest offerings so you can just pop them in your mouth and not wrassle with paper. So I think I'm going to have to call for an expert! Hey Michelle C - put aside that CM hat, pick up your Cupcake Queen tiara, and tell us what you think. The challenge is on!

I didn't even get to try the cupcakes!!! I was on a date night with my husband and were walking down Haddon Ave before our reservation down the street so we decided let's get some cupcakes so that we can eat them at home while watching a movie. Yea that never happened! Walked in and there was about an hour left before closing maybe a little less but whatever it wasn't like we were walking in at closing time. We walked in and there was someone in the kitchen who saw us. Looked at us continued to finish something and walked away. We figured OK let's wait a couple of minutes maybe she had to get something. We waited and nothing, rang the bell, and nothing. So we walked out. I had every intention of spending my money at this establishment but for whatever reason wasn't given the opportunity to do so. If you see someone and you own a business you should atleast give a wave or let them know you'll be right back. We got nothing except a look and a head turn. In my opinion unacceptable. If you don't want to help anyone close early! I do NOT forsee myself every coming back because the lack of common courtesy alone is off putting. Maybe because I wasn't a regular or who knows what but the fact that I know for a fact that I was seen and then ignored......yea definitly will not be returning.

My husband and I went in last weekend and grabbed a few cupcakes. We really enjoyed the ones we grabbed. They were moist and we really enjoyed the icing. They have good hours and service was prompt. Will go back again

Just opened today, 3/12/11 and the store front is very cute and whimsical. Located on the main street of Collingswood the location is easy to find. Selection varies from day to day according to the owner. The variety ranges from Coconut, Smores, Apple Cinnamon, Vanilla Bean, Red Velvet and more. The prices are extremely reasonable, with mini cupcakes at $1.99 and large ( over sized compared to many other shops) at $2.99. The cupcakes are very eye catching, and the combinations offered interesting. We picked up a coconut and an apple cinnamon. I would say these cupcakes rate middle of the road, they would be great for a children's party because children loves cupcakes and especially fun toppings. I think adults may find that while the cake is soft and fluffy the flavor does not get incorporated into the cake. The coconut was a toasted coconut flakes on top of icing on top of yellow cake. Similar the cinnamon apple was a yellow cake with white icicng and apple filling with cinnamon sugar on top. By no means am I saying this place had bad cupcake, I just think they are not as flavorful as some of the others I have had in the past.

I've been here about five times, three of those were with my lady friends. We come here after a stroll around Collingswood and chit chat in the front whilst eating delicious treats. I've tried probably six or more flavors. The most notable qualities of these cupcakes are that they are moist, every single visit. I have been to quite a few cupcake joints that have dry cupcakes and that makes me angry. Additionally, the size and cost is pretty great compared to other places and they always have a great variety on hand. The reason for a three star review is because I find that although the cake is moist, the flavor could be better. For instance, the fruit cupcake flavors, we had pineapple and mandarin orange, have delicious fruity icing, but the entire cake part is plain vanilla with just a touch of fruit in the bottom. Because the cupcakes are so large, it would be extraordinary if they could add lemon or orange extract (real flavors please!) to enhance the cake flavor. After trying to eat a whole one, it feels like you're wasting calories on a plain piece of cake. Aside from the above issue, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and patient and I enjoy chatting with them for a few minutes when we visit.

I had a job interview in the area, and after feeling like I nailed the interview I felt like I owed myself a celebratory calorie drenching, and I'm a huge fan of cupcakes!! I had heard of this place and knew it was within walking distance from where I was, so why not?? I had a hard time deciding, because honestly everything looked so amazing!! I am allergic to chocolate, so that whittled down my options considerably - and the mini mousse pies she had looked to die for, but all were chocolate. If she would have had a non-chocolate option in those she would have been my new best friend, I think (if that tasted as great as they looked). I finally decided on the Vanilla Cake Cupcake, and a mini carrot cupcake. My mom was with me and she got an assortment of mini cupcakes, too. In the 30 minute drive from the store back home all the mini cupcakes were gone. Seriously. They were delicious!! The cake was a perfect texture (it was that "m" word that everyone uses to describe cakes that I refuse to use, because the word makes me vomit.. but you know which one I mean - it rhymes with HOIST) , and the frosting was delicious! I ate the vanilla cake cupcake as my dessert tonight and I almost lost my balance while eating it, it was that knock-you-over delicious!! I definitely would go back for cupcakes, and recommend it to anyone looking for a great cupcake option!

I didn't notice the cross dimensional doorway that Michael M seems to think is in place here. Nor a wormhole. Just a plain old door. The decor in this place is nice and homey, if you are of the female persuasion or are used to your grandma's house. I ordered 3 small cupcakes, a maple and cinnamon, a chocolate peanut butter, and a carrot one. The frosting on all three were good, though the carrot frosting and the chocolate peanut butter were the best. The maple and cinnamon was just ok. The cake part of the cupcakes was unremarkable, and the tops of the cupacakes were spongy/hard, as if they were overbaked. I'll try to come back again at an earlier time to see if that makes a difference,

Since it has been a few months since my last cupcake adventure and the fact that this place is only two blocks from my house, i decided to give it another go, Why? Why? I got the banana cupcake and the red velvet. I was really hopping that they were not horrible, but they were. I threw both out after a few bites. This is 2011, folks, a banana cupcakes should contain real bananas, not loads of chemical tasting extract. I don't think that has been okay since the 80s. Also, the size of the cupcakes is just silly. The red velvet was not bad, but it was so huge that after bite 3, it wasn't worth it. It was a little on the dry tasteless side. I really hope this place does a HUGE overhaul of their recipes, sizes, and priorities and ask themselves what a modern customer is looking for in their baked goods.

I wanted to RAVE about these cupcakes, but they fell short of my expectations. I was impressed with the variety of offerings and sizes. I loved the atmosphere of this establishment. The vintage aprons hanging on the walls was whimsical and kitschy; a nice touch. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I chose the Smores cupcake and the chocolate-covered pretzel cupcake. The icing is delicious and creamy without being sugary-sweet. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. That's all I can say. I anticipated goodies to either be baked into the cupcakes or a scrumptious filling. Neither were delivered. While the Chocolate-covered pretzel had a few bits of pretzel and chocolate chips baked into the top of the muffin - the rest of the cupcake was just yellow cake. Very plain. The S'mores cupcake was similar in the plain realm. The toppings on all the cupcakes were creative, but that's it. My Little Kupcake could learn something from a great cupcake joint, Kickass Cupcakes, near Boston. Basically, these cupcakes on Haddon Avenue were ALL TENT and NO CIRCUS. I hope they step-up their game because they make a nice addition to Collingswood.

I am a repeat customer- 1st visit: tried a red velvet mini cupcake and a Very berry mini cupcake BOTH were sooo good and the icing was wonderful! 2nd visit: I got a big birthday cake cupcake for a friend and she raved about it for weeks 3rd visit: i have a French toast cupcake that was by far the best cupcake ever with bits of french toast in the batter and maple cinnamon butter cream frosting with maple syrup drizzled on top. Mmmm she even threw in 2 mini red velvet cupcakes bc my friend and I couldnt decide between the two! WILL go again :)

Very reasonably priced cupcakes - oversized (we're talking the size of muffins) cupcakes were $3. Very friendly owners and the shop is adorable. My problem is that the cupcakes lack real taste based on their flavors. They offer a VERY wide variety of flavors, but it seems the only way these flavors are incorporated into the cupcake is by the toppings on a standard yellow cake with vanilla frosting. I'd love to see the flavors incorporated into the cake and the frosting to really put this shop over the top. The cake was good, but not amazing. Same with the frosting. I can see the cost benefits of having a standard cake and frosting flavor and then just adding toppings, but the result is a sub-par cupcake that hasn't really committed to a true flavor.

I was recently introduced tto My Little Kupcake by a friend. I love this little bakery! The atmosphere is great and the cupcakes were delicious. I love all of the varieties of cupcakes and the fact that there are both minis and regular size cakes. I will definitely tell my friends about this great place! Dianna

I love cupcakes, and was lucky enough to be in Collingswood on Cruise night, when I wandered into this fantastic wonderland of desserts with a rowdy group of friends. The store was whimsical but not childish, comfortable and clean, but not cluttered. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, providing both helpful suggestions and clever bon mots. I got a small cupcake (truffle) for then and one for later (Chocolate Frosted Flake). The truffle was by and large my favorite. It was rich and flavorful and cakey and moist and delicious. The Frosted Flake Cupcake was HUGE and wonderful and delicious. I would never think to put my favorite cereal and my favorite form of pastry together but the cake, like the experience and the store was a fantastic experience that I hoep to recreate again soon.

I decided to surprise my fiance with cupcakes for dessert recently, and went to this local establishment for the first time. I have walked past the bakery often and the store itself is decorated very nicely. I too love the kitschy feel and the aprons on the walls. I selected a red velvet cupcake because I wanted to understand the general hype of that particular craze, and a half vanilla/half chocolate swirl version for my better half as he appreciates those traditional flavors. The cupcakes were packaged nicely enough, and the counter person was friendly, and I was so excited to present these cakes to my guy. Upon eating them, well, the excitement waned considerably. The flavor of the red velvet cake itself was of food coloring - that's really all I could taste, and it wasn't very pleasant. It was also a bit on the dry side. The icing was the only thing that saved it from being actually bad. I was able to finish it off. My fiance finished his cupcake as well, but said it was much too dry and rather bland for a chocolate cupcake. He laughed and said he prefers the ones from Tastykake over these. There are cupcake bakeries in Philadelphia that are far superior to this one, and I would rather frequent those establishments than patronize this local business, sadly. Once the cupcake craze fizzles a bit I can't see this particular bakery standing the test of time. Ah, well. At least there is always Tastykake.

As a Collingswood resident, I'm always looking for ways to support our locally owned and operated businesses. Therefore, when planning our annual staff party at work (in Philly), I happily volunteered to bring dessert! I ordered 100 mini cupcakes, which were packed and ready for me right on schedule. Opening the boxes was so much fun- the bakery had packed a wide assortment of cupcake flavors (both vanilla and chocolate)...Butterfinger, red velvet, lemon, etc. The party guests LOVED tasting different flavors and finding their favorites. And the size was perfect- we could each have several different cupcakes (I ordered enough for 4-5 per person and we had some left over). Thanks for topping our party off perfectly, My Little Kupkake!!!

I'm going to have to agree with Lara d. I stopped in on Saturday as well. Cute shop, friendly employee. The day we were in they had red velvet, chocolate and lemon cupcakes. None of those sounded exciting to me so I went with the white chocolate cream mini pie. It was good. My daughter, who loves cupcakes, chose a chocolate cupcake that had pink frosting and a flower (we were not told what the frosting flavor was on this one, so I'm not sure). My daughter took one bite and said she didn't like it. My husband and I tried a bite. The cake was okay but the frosting had no flavor and was very oily. We didn't like it either. So, our first visit wasn't wonderful but it was also their first day of business. We will stop back by in a couple of weeks and try it again.

Cute store and I wish them well. Their cupcake selection was good with several interesting options. Sadly the cupcakes were very dry and the flavors didn't really pop for me.
