We were visiting from out of town and walking down O Street doing some barhopping. This dive was my favorite bar in the downtown Lincoln area. There were quite a few motorcycles in the parking lot. We stepped inside and the first thing we noticed was that the floor under the bar was covered in piles of used lottery tickets. "I dropped a winner in here the other night, I'm here to reclaim it!" my friend announced to the bartender. Saddles hung from the ceiling, and beer was served in mason jars. A couple of pool tables lined up towards a back area that looked like it's probably used for live music. Everyone in the place was lively and seemed to be having fun. Our bartender was pretty cool and made the visit all the more memorable. My only complaint is that I was bothered by a strange background smell that I thought was similar to soiled diapers. However my friend said that I was crazy and that nothing smelled off to him at all. Hmmm. He's a new dad, though, so maybe he's used tot hat smell. :)
