Excellent!! That's really all I can say about it. Kat is wonderful to work with, she's accomodating, and puts out an excellent product! We went as far as to switch to her bakery for our baked good needs at work! And she supports local musicians! Stop in in the evenings for some good music!

Came to this bar from out of town and it was great! Fun atmosphere and laid back feel. The bartender Alex was great and recommended some tasty drinks. My boyfriend had a White Russian made with Orchata that The Dude would have approved of. I had a White Gummybear shot and it was delicious. The owner was there too and we chatted for a bit. Great guy and really loves the bar and his customers.

Westview Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful place with an amazing history and an amazing host. If I were to ever want to move to Nebraska this is where I'd want to live. We plan on giving a night here away as a gift. Highly recommended.
My husband and I were looking for a romantic place to get away in Lincoln and we stumbled across Westview Bed & Breakfast. First, they offer a lot to their guests. When we arrived, we found our mini fridge stocked full of soda and water. There was also free coffee, popcorn, chex mix, mints, jelly beans, and candy. In addition to all of these free snacks, we found the breakfast extremely delicious. It came with fresh fruit and whipped cream, along with an omelet on toast with peppers and bacon. It was very good!! What I really liked was that they let us choose exactly when we wanted to have breakfast and where (anywhere in the house, on the balcony, or in the privacy of our own room). Our room was very cozy. It had a huge, comfortable bed. There was a 32" flat screen in the room complete with DirecTV and a Blu-ray player. We also had access to over 500 movies, which was great. Finally, our room also included a huge whirlpool tub, which made for a very relaxing weekend. In terms of service, the couple that owns the place was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were provided with their number and told we could contact them if we needed anything at all. Overall, a really relaxing stay with lots of extras. We will most certainly be back.
My husband and I have stayed here twice this past year and loved our visits! We had such a wonderful relaxing time! We are planning on heading back there again for a baby moon and being from California it's so nice to get away from the business and be in a quiet relaxing place. The owners are incredibly hospitable and wonderful people. The food is amazing! Being a pastry chef in fine dining I was blown away with the food that was prepared for us! Absolutely the place to go for great relaxation and amazing food!

Zipline Brewing Company

So as I was cruising arond Lincoln I remembered that Zipline has a great Taproom on west O street. I have always liked Zipline and I decided to stop by. I got somewhat lost but had the general idea of where I needed to be. I prematurely turned around and was back downtown. bummer. I busted out my trusty Yelp app and looked up "zip" and clicked on Zipline and 'Get Directions' from there I just followed the directions and ended up here very quickly. I was fortunate enough to be from the the first one in. Plenty of beers. Plenty of samples, and plenty of great beer. A really crisp vibe and great appeal. Free WiFi ( a must for yelping) and pretzels and dry goods. Industrial neighborhood and generally a great location away the typical Lincolnite vibe
Awesome, awesome brewery. I've always loved Zipline's beers and made it a top priority for me to visit when in Lincoln. It is a little out of the way, in an industrial area....Kind of like a couple of the breweries here in Omaha. Kind of a cool setting I suppose. Anyways, on to the review. I love the inside of this place. Their choices of places to sit are all unique, including a giant leather couch with a piano is front of it and the big Zipline logo on the wall. You've got the bar, some large picnic style tables, and some smaller high tables against the wall/windows. They have a selection of merchandise on the wall off to the side as well. They have a great selection of beer, all of them are very drinkable in my opinion. I can't say the same for any brewery I've been too (Except Boulevard!). They do, however, have a couple beers that stand out. Try the NZ IPA, Belgian Dubbel, and the Barleywine if you're feeling up to it....I love this place, their beers, their logo...all of it. My favorite brewery and I hope I can come back a couple times.
Another favorite stop of ours. We pulled into Lincoln just in time to stop in before close. We ordered a flight of 6 tasters. It's hard to say which one we liked best because they were all so good, a great sign from a craft brewery! My favorites were the Black IPA and American Tripel. The Nut Brown was a favorite between my husband and I also. We were in right before close so they started cleaning up while we were enjoying our tasters. They were very kind and let us know we didn't need to rush and even offered us another beer! We were exhausted and wanted to let them clean up so we went on our way. Very happy with this stop, we may need to do this more often on our long trips between Iowa and Colorado! Zipline is definitely worth the visit.

We ordered pizzas from here on a recent trip to Lincoln. Staying at the Motel 6 up the road, this place was close. Also, originally growing up in Iowa, I knew all about Casey's Pizza, and have always been a huge fan. We called in the order, and my dad and I went after it. The people working there were very friendly. Even though it was about 8:30 at night, they didn't mind making our pizzas, which turned out to be amazing. If you want really awesome pizza in Lincoln, this is the place to go.

I stopped by the 17th & South Val's takeout for a quick lunch today. Fast service, hot food, everything tasted fresh, and very friendly staff. They said hello and good-bye and thanked me for coming. The lasagna is my favorite and it was delicious and perfect! And it's not just takeout here; if you come for lunch, there's places to sit and enjoy the great food. I'm beginning to enjoy their takeout more than the buffet. The food seems fresher and hotter, and it hasn't been picked over by 100 different people!
